I was so nervous when I walked in, not knowing what to expect. But as soon as I walked thru the doors they were there to help. Help find the dresses in my price range, get them to the dressing room, and helping me to get in and out of the dresses. Felt like a fairytale. Was such a blessed time. They made you feel comfortable and special. Loved the experience!

I couldn’t be happier with not only my dress but the store as well! My first day dress shopping had me in tears and I was afraid I wouldn’t find a dress, but once I stepped into Bridal Elegance all my fears were gone! They took the time to listen to what my vision was and. Definitely check this place out before Rhonda retires because her store is there for YOU!

Hands down the best service I ever recieved. Samantha was amazing and made me feel welcome not rushed. She also understood everything I was looking for and was very polite and patient with me. 1000% recommend!!

Bridal Elegance was amazing. I had the pleasure of working with Jan during my first appointment. She helped me expand my horizon of dresses I was even willing to try on and encouraged me to keep an open mind. I was not pressed to purchase a dress during that appointment. They are friendly and kind. I ended up getting my dress form there after trying it on again my second appointment!! The price was way better than I expected. I received the in house alterations, Rhonda works wonders and the price was amazing. They truly help you make the experience your own and make you feel special preparing for your special day!

I LOVE this shop! My experience at Bridal Elegance was absolutely wonderful! My cousin got her wedding dress here too, and we both just loved Rhonda! In fact, I was actually here to see my cousin try on her dress for the final time before the wedding, and when Rhonda found out my wedding was in less than a year, she gave me valuable advice to be getting my wedding dress ordered! So, while I was there, she let me start trying on dresses. It was close to closing time, but she stayed an extra hour or two in order to make sure I was able to get the dress of my dreams! Throughout all of my experiences with Rhonda, she was always so positive and so kind! Bridal Elegance had so many dresses to choose from too! It was such a great experience! My cousin and I both HIGHLY RECOMMEND Bridal Elegance! They will help make sure your dress is absolutely perfect for your special day! :)

The staff on both my visits were great helping me pick a dress. The really listened to what I was looking for, what I liked and didn't like. They were attentive to my price guidelines and helped me find an absolutely beautiful dress that fit what I was looking for.

I had a wonderful experience at Bridal Elegance. My appointment went over the scheduled time, but they continued to help me find a dress and didn't pressure me at all. They were flexible with schedule changes. My wedding has been affected by COVID, and Rhonda did some slight alterations for free!

Customer service was amazing for basically a walk in like I did. They have a huge selection and many within a reasonable price range. I didn’t feel pressured into buying anything I tried on and I was actually encouraged to go try on many dresses anywhere before making a final decision. She could tell exactly what I was looking for. I would recommend this place for a laid back, non pressured bridal boutique.

I found an incredibly gorgeous dress here! Jan was so helpful and patient during the purchase process! The fittings/alterations have been wonderful too! I would certainly recommend this place for it's friendly and helpful staff, large selection, and skilled alterations manager!

Shopping here was such a positive and stress free experience! Jan is a miracle worker and helped me find “the one”. I had such a wonderful experience at this shop! I am not one that enjoys dress shopping, especially in this kind of sense. When comparing this to other shops, there are a few things that stood out to me about Bridal Elegance. When we got there, the consultant allowed me to look at the dresses in the shop, and"tag" the dresses I wanted to try on. I ended up getting a dress the consultant picked out herself! They also have mirrors in the dressing room, so you don't have to walk out in front of other people to see what a dress looks like. They work with whatever your budget is, and they are not pushy in any sort of way! I also got my dress altered by Rhonda, and it was reasonably priced, fit great, and looked perfect!

I loved my experience at bridal elegance! Jacob spent all afternoon picking out dresses for me to try on until I found the one! They have a very big and reasonably priced selection!! I would recommend them for all your bridal party needs as well!

My experience was incredibly stressful with Rhonda and Bridal Elegance. I felt pressured to purchase so I could take advantage of a sale that was supposedly ending the next day (although it was advertised for another month). The dress was way too baggy, saggy and lumpy, and looked nothing like the vendor's online photos. I had to request multiple fittings as Rhonda seemed perfectly content to have me walk out with a dress that didn't fit. I had to ask repeatedly to have the dress altered, and it still wasn't right by the end. It was incredibly stressful on my wedding day to feel so uncomfortable in my wedding dress. When I look through my wedding photos, all I see is how badly this very expensive dress fits. Such a disappointment.

I 100% recommend that every bride try on dresses at Bridal Elegance. I have had multiple experiences (as a bride and bridesmaid) with many different members of their staff, and every single experience has been wonderful! They are kind and make you feel empowered - no matter what your role is in the wedding/event at hand! Sure, they would like you to buy their products, however I never felt pressured into anything whatsoever. They even encouraged to look/shop around to find what was best for me - even if that meant going in a different direction. I loved my bridesmaid dress so much that I went back here to try on bridal dresses as well - sure enough, I walked out with the wedding dress of my DREAMS! They have so many different and fun styles for people of ALL sizes! As a plus size woman, I was nervous about bridal shopping because some folks have not been so kind. However, at Bridal Elegance DSM it wasn’t a concern or even a topic until I brought it up! They actually tried to find dresses that made me feel confident while also encouraging me to try styles that would accent my body type well. Long story short, definitely give this place a shot. They are kind and helpful to all brides, know how to properly manage family/friends who come with, and have a variety of styles and sizes!

The Bridal Elegance team was wonderful to work with as we chose our bridesmaid dresses. Their staff was helpful through the process and made everything very seamless. As a bride that lived out of town and having bridesmaids living in different states, they coordinated the shipping to different addresses very easily and made a far away bride at ease during the process. In addition they have beautiful dresses for every style and body type and we loved what we chose from their shop! You’re in good hands with Bridal Elegance!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place and the service. I live in Minnesota, and they were SO flexible with alterations and making sure I got my dress on time. Everything was absolutely perfect with my experience here. The staff were supportive and friendly, and even had me try on some ridiculous dresses not my style so I could at least rule them out and give me a good laugh. I will recommend this place over and over!

Everyone at Bridal Elegance was amazing! I had two appointments there. They help me decide on what type of dress I was looking for. I also loved that they let me think on my decision and come back the next day to purchase my dress. Rhonda is amazing with fittings, she made me feel confident that my dress is going to looking beautiful on the day of my wedding with some few minor fixes. They also persuaded me to buy a veil even though I thought I didn’t want one but they one they picked to go with my dress is beautiful. I would highly recommend them to anyone! They are so to accommodating to me since I live out of state.

I was BEYOND impressed with everyone at Bridal Elegance! They were incredibly helpful while I was looking for the perfect dress and made the time feel so special. After purchasing my dress, they made my vision come true with added straps and finishing alterations. I cannot recommend them enough!

I had such a wonderful experience at Bridal Elegance! My consultant Jan was wonderful and really understood what I envisioned for my day. I wanted something a boho style gown that was unique from most other gowns that I had seen. She found just that for me! I was so happy to see that Bridal Elegance carried so many different boho gowns. I had been to other stores before and discovered that many only carried a few. I was discouraged that I would never find exactly what I wanted. I ended up purchasing the most unique, beautiful dress I had ever seen. Thank you so much Bridal Elegance for helping me find the dress of my dreams! I couldn’t be happier!

Incredible staff and selection!!

I heard of Bridal Elegance through a friend. This was the second shop we visited. I found my dress after trying on the second one. The attendant knew exactly which one to have me try on by what I described. We did have some miscommunication about the bridesmaid dresses, but Rhonda made sure to make it right and we got the the correct dresses in plenty of time. I never had an issue with scheduling any appointments or with alterations. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

My first bridal shop I went to and my very first place trying on wedding dresses. Went in looking to narrow down my search to the style of dress I like and ended up walking out with my dress on my first appointment! They know what they are doing there and make you feel comfortable and put the brides needs, wants, and opinions first.

Bridal Elegance DSM provided me with the best experience! Kim helped me during my first appointment--she was awesome! I didn't feel pressured to make a purchase during my first appointment. The selection of gowns was incredible, and there were tons of options within my budget of $1,000. Rhonda (the owner) has done alterations for many years, so I opted to store my dress at the salon for the year for $50. The alterations were priced reasonably and my dressed turned out perfectly!

I highly recommend Bridal Elegance! The people that work there are kind and helpful! I enjoyed being able to see the dresses and pick ones off the rack that I loved. I also picked bridesmaids dresses from there too. Alterations were easy and well done. Great experience!!

You always feel welcomed by Rhonda and her team. They take a ton of the stress off of finding a dress. Rhonda is amazing with alterations she always has an open mind to what can be done. She is one of a kind and makes you feel great in every step of the process. Even on the not fitting right days.

The selection at Bridal Elegance in unmatched in Central Iowa; and the team took time with me, helped me expand my vision, and ultimately helped me find a dress I never would have picked for myself, but ended up loving so much! My bridesmaids and I spent the day at various places looking for bridesmaid dresses. We didn't feel welcomed at any of the previous spots, but at bridal elegance we were welcomed and helped throughout the entire process of bridesmaid dress shopping! Jacob was very helpful and made us all feel at home!

I read great reviews about this place so I put it on our list. We were pretty disappointed :( My consultant wasn’t listening to what I wanted and was only choosing her “favorites”. I clearly stated what I liked and had my party pick out dresses I actually wanted to try on. She would make me say everything I didn’t like about each dress and would not take my responses as answers so it took 1 hour to try on 6 dresses. My venue was also made fun of as she said “you don’t want to look like you’re getting married in a barn” well I AM. Lastly it was incredibly hard to picture myself in any of the dresses I tried on, I am a size 4, and they only seemed to carry size 16 and up. This is understandable as its easier to clip dresses than squeeze into them, but it wasn’t ideal for me.

Bridal Elegance is BY FAR the best bridal salon around. Hannah was my consultant today and she was nothing short of amazing! Her and Rhonda both have an eye for perfection and were both so knowledgable and helpful. My mom and I left with huge smiles on our faces and our hearts are so full now that we found THE DRESS! I would recommend this place to anyone!

I got my wedding dress here and I’m so excited! I went to about 10 different stores trying to find my unique dress and I can honestly say this was my favorite place. The selection is great and my dresses price was cheaper then I had seen it’s type anywhere else. The ladies worked with me about altering the top to match what I had invisoned and were super helpful and sweet. I felt special, which some other places I went I just felt like I was another appointment. It was a great experience and I can’t wait till my dress comes in.

Jan is absolutely amazing! I went into their shop not having a clue what dress I wanted and she was a huge help with narrowing down options and making suggestions! She was very accommodating on my second and third visits! We had so much fun there, I definitely recommend checking them out!

The ladies at bridal elegance were amazing. I had gone to a few other bridal stores in town and they made me feel like I never wanted to go back. One store needs an appointment for them to even look your direction and the other had young girls working that were inexperienced and had no knowledge of the dresses. The ladies at Bridal Elegance made me feel like I was family every time I went in. I told them what type of dress I was looking for and they gave me several options. I told them my idea of the perfect dress and they brought suggestions to me that I hadn’t thought of and I ended up finding my match! My family and friends complimented me all day on my dress! Rhonda is a wizard with the alterations! I would recommend them to everyone! They make a bride feel special, as she should! Thanks ladies.

​So the rating is for the shop’s responsiveness and how the dress fit after I picked it up, not during the choosing process. When I first arrived, Sandy (I think that was her name) was super helpful in helping me choose and narrow down my choices. She let me wander then also have some of her own reccomendations, which were amazing. She stayed within my budget and chose dresses that were flattering, she also gave ideas on how to make the dress my own. She never pressured me to choose anything that day, so I came back the next week, specifically to see her and chose my dress then. I was so excited! She measured me and said we should probably order a size 20 so it would fit perfectly, I agreed. (The one I tried on was an 18) This was around the middle of November. Then I waited for my dress to arrive. Well, in the meantime I moved back to the east coast for a job. They had told me the dress would be available sometime at the end of March, so I planned a trip back to Iowa so I could get the dress. As the days came closer, they could still not give me an exact date as to when it would be there; I needed a date, I had to take off work and buy a plane ticket, etc. They kept telling me they would email as soon as they got it, but no more information than that. It seems crazy to me that I can track my $20 pizza delivery from the second I order to the minute it gets to my door, but my $1000 dress just gets there when it gets there; a little ridiculous. Now, I understand the shop can not control everything and they may be under the thumb of the designers or wherever the dresses arrive from, but I still feel like more could have been done. Now once I get the dress, it looks exactly as I ordered, which is good. When I go to try it on, it doesn’t zip all the way. Okay, no problem, it hasn’t been worn in, or steamed, etc; but also remember I ordered a WHOLE SIZE larger...so really, it should fit and I’d lost weight and inches since the last time they measured me. But anyway, I didn’t really grasp the how much the back didn’t zip until I got the alterations done...the seamstress had to add FOUR INCHES into my dress. Luckily, she was a friend so she did some of the work for free. Overall, I would recommend this shop for dress selection and price. I really love my dress and it turned out perfectly anyway.

My first appointment was great! Once my dress got in I came in for my first fitting, no one even offered to help me get in my dress. I also told them not to sew in the breast pads since I was breastfeeding and my size would probably change within the next few months.. When I came for my second fitting, they had sewn in the pads (now too large) and we also had the surprise that I was pregnant. We decided to let the hips out as far as possible in the dress since I would be 20 weeks at our wedding. But the top and straps were supposed to be taken in(it didn’t look or feel like they did either. I could slide my arms out without undoing anything.) I never got a phone call or any kind of notification saying my dress had been steamed and ready for pick up! The day of my wedding we had to cut the inside lining because they didn’t let it out at all!! They only let the outside out! I wish I would’ve taken my $2,000 elsewhere.

Wow, what great people to work with! I absolutely loved my dress and getting alterations weren’t a hassle at all. I had a few issues with the way my dress was laying and they reassured me they would make it look the way I wanted, which they did! Alterations weren’t too pricy either (set prices.) I can’t express what an amazing experience I had today at Bridal Elegance DSM!! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone!! Their gowns are just absolutely gorgeous! They have sooo many styles to choose from! All the women that work there are just so great and helpful! The owner is a seamstress, so she can tell you right away if you can or can’t alter the dress in a way you were ideally wanting. So excited, I said “yes to the dress!”

I was very happy with my experience! The staff is very knowledgeable about the gowns and listened to what I wanted. They were so willing to work with me when I changed my mind a million times (I’m a very indecisive bride). I said “yes to the dress” here and I’m so excited to show my groom on our day! I would definitely recommend.
