Bridal Party Packet

Unfortunately, I can’t recommend Byrgundy as a wedding coordinator. My experience with her on one of the most important days of my life was incredibly stressful and disappointing. From the start, I found myself doing things I had specifically hired a coordinator to manage, like running around to help with setup until almost 11:30 AM and more. She told me I needed to set up until it was time for hair and makeup. I couldn’t even enjoy my morning. My bridesmaids kept reminding me that I should be relaxing, enjoying and soaking it in, but instead, I was stressed and overwhelmed. Byrgundy didn’t help with setup at all and had my family running around trying to get everything done. She even asked two guests, who had arrived early… to help steam the linens. I couldn’t believe it. That alone speaks volumes. I found that to be incredibly unprofessional. What’s worse is that she had told me during our first conversation that she would bring someone to help with setup. On the actual day, she showed up alone. And when it came time to tear everything down at the end of the night, she didn’t help again. My mom saw her standing near the cake table with her hands on her hips, just watching as my family worked quickly to clean up in the hour we had left. She then told my family they had 30 minutes to get everything packed and out. My husband and I had already left in our getaway car, so we couldn’t stay back to help. She even walked into the room where my bridesmaids were and demanded to have everything spotless, while doing nothing herself. On top of that, she never brought us any food from the cocktail hour. If it wasn’t for my mother-in-law making us a plate, we wouldn’t have eaten. At the end of the night, she didn’t even help get my wedding dress into the garment bag. She literally sat down with one leg propped up on another chair, watching as my mother-in-law and my very fragile grandmother-in-law struggled to bag my heavy dress. All she said was, “I think there’s a hook there to hang the dress.” Again, I wasn’t there because I was getting ready to leave for my grand exit. She also came in and got upset that we were behind on photos, but she was nowhere to be found earlier to help coordinate hair and makeup, which I had to manage on my own. The hairstylist even started freaking out because she didn’t know that I had to be done by 12:30, she thought I had to be done by 2:30! And then she told me the coordinator never gave her a timeline which my coordinator told me she did… It honestly felt like I was doing the job I had hired her to do. Honestly…it seemed like she was just coordinating everyone else to do her job like she had a checklist of tasks but expected everyone else to carry them out. That’s not what a coordinator is supposed to do. To top it all off, not all of our belongings were packed in our getaway car like they were supposed to be, so my husband and I had to sneak back after we had already left to grab our stuff. There is more that happened but I don’t want to drag this any longer than I should. Her excuse for everything was that she was pregnant. And while I completely respect that pregnancy comes with limitations, if you’re unable to fulfill the responsibilities of the job, it’s just not fair to take it on especially on someone’s wedding day. I honestly felt like I couldn’t truly enjoy my day. I wouldn’t want another bride to experience the same stress and disappointment I did.

Im not even sure where to begin. Byrgundy was the BEST decision we made for our wedding. She has this beautiful balance of professionalism while also making you feel like your new wedding best friend. She made our day run SEAMLESSLY, and we had tornado touch downs on our wedding day! She was the calm in the midst of what could have been a disaster. I had people coming up to me complimenting how wonderful she was doing at our wedding! I could not recommend Byrgundy enough.

We could not have done it without her! I felt like I was working with a friend who really wanted me to have the best wedding ever. We had a whole cake disaster and she put the cake in her car while running to keep it from melting, talk about going above and beyond! She handled all issues like a pro. Hiring her was one of the best decisions I made with my wedding planning. If you haven’t already, hire her!
