My consultant Natasha spent the first 10 minutes lecturing us about how they "customize" everything and anything you want on a dress they do. She grilled me on what dresses I had tried on and asked me a few times if I had photos of dresses I l...iked. The mannequin dresses all seemed pretty generic, all lace. I finally found one I wanted to try on and she said Ok. I was led to a different room that had more dress options. Upon picking out 5 or 6, I reminded her about one of the mannequin dresses and she said "that dress is a size 6 so we can't try it on." I am not a size 6 but I have squeezed myself into a size 4 bridal gown so she didn't want to be troubled to get it. I was led to a room and she started removing a dress from the bag. She handed it to me and walked out, and told me to open the door when I was ready. At every other appointment I had been to, the consultant stayed with you to help you into the gown. Every time I was in the dress and opened the door I had to wait at least a couple of minutes for her to come back to help me. When I tried on a gown that I really liked, Natasha asked me "What would you change about this dress?" I hadn't even been out 2 minutes. One of the only things I liked about the salon was that they had a camera with a TV that displayed you so you could get a view from the back. Natasha got a sash and a couple veils and there was one that I really liked. After 4 more dresses, she put me back in the one I liked and my mom commented about not liking the bodice. Natasha went on about talking to the seamstress to see if a change could be made. I told her I liked the bodice. When I finally got out of the dress she had gone to get the seamstress (apparently the owner) to discuss the changes to the bodice (that I didn't ask for) and she said they could be done but wouldn't look good. I was trying to leave and Natasha kept trying to push the dress on me, so to try to end the conversation I mentioned that I was deciding between another dress I tried on at a different store. She had asked me earlier in the appt about what dresses I had tried on and I didn't really remember - a designer popped into my head so I told her. This second time though, she waited for my response and I had already forgotten. Both her and Elena were just watching me. I remembered and told them the designer and Natasha asked me if I had pictures. I showed them one of me in a random gown that I liked and Elena said their dress was better, and I don't recall by whom but I was asked "Do you like how that fits in the abdomen?" Sample sizes typically do NOT exactly fit the person trying them on. I Finally started to walk out and asked about the veil that I had liked and she told me the price but nothing else. I contacted them again today and asked for the info on the Veil. I got a reply in 2 minutes answering a couple of my questions. In her e-mail Katia said to let her know if I had more questions, so I Again asked for the designer info. 30 minutes later I got a reply saying the veil was by "a private designer that we carry at our boutique." So, It is ok for a consultant to harass a customer about brands and models, but when someone is interested in details of an item in their store they are unwilling to give that info out? I replied again asking for the info and hours have passed and no response. They would rather hold information hostage than potentially make a sale. "Brides Beware!"
