Bride & Gown Glens Falls

I saw on the website they had no appointments for 02-23 but I figured why not text, just to make sure. However, I was in luck someone had just cancelled for a noon appointment and without hesitation I took it! I was nervous going solo but Eliza the owner made me feel perfect from start to finish. Eliza, knows her stuff and how to style and gives a very honest opinion on dresses. I had the store all to myself for almost 2 hours she was attentive and again made me feel beautiful! Eliza's personality truly makes this hidden gem a must find! I found the dress but in a few weeks is when I will be bringing my family to see it before I say yes to the dress! I am so glad I went here vs anywhere else. I can't help but acknowledge Eliza she went above and beyond and surpassed all my expectations! I'm so glad I found this shop and met her.

Eliza, the owner, was incredible. I called looking for a specific Allure dress that though she didn’t carry it, she offered to order for me. It had to be custom ordered to length and her attention to detail was sincerely appreciated. She was helpful and very communicative.

Eliza and her team were wonderful to work with. The shop is cozy and adorable and has a wide variety of styles at a reasonable price. Their seamstress Alice was amazing and made sure everything was perfect. I would highly suggest checking them out.

Eliza (the owner) is amazing. When I went to try on dresses with my family, she was the perfect combination of helpful but not overbearing. She pulled gorgeous dresses, gave me her honest opinion, she didn't have an issue with my best friend being the one in the dressing room helping me get into the dresses (even thanked me for it since she was also helping out with another appointment upstairs - don't worry you aren't sharing consultants - she was just needed for something upstairs and we didn't need the help at that moment) and the selection that she has...it is AMAZING. Every time I walk in there I second guess my dress choice because the dresses she has are beyond gorgeous. If you are looking for a gown that isn't white - she also has several options in many styles - I couldn't believe how many gowns that she had that weren't white (I was against white so I was pleasantly surprised when I walked through the door). The building is also gorgeous. Rustic/chic interior that has plenty of space for you and your crew. Pricing on the gowns is fair and she has something for any budget. I had a mild breakdown the other day and was second guessing my dress and she immediately called me, left a message, and booked me an appointment. I hate to be "that bride" but I know she will do everything in her power to ensure that I am happy on my big day. I saw a review that complained a bit about the scheduling aspect and getting ahold of her - I haven't had that issue. I text her - when she gets a moment she texts me back with options - that is it. Just because it isn't David's Bridal where you can go in and lock in an appointment online doesn't mean that her system is broken it just means that she isn't running a dress factory and that she cares about each and every bride. I love buying local and I am SO happy that I decided on Bride & Gown.

After trying on 45 gowns, I was feelinf pretty defeated. I took a few weeks off the search and decided to try out this little shop in Glens Falls (a solid 45 minute drive for my mom and I). I am so happy to say that I was so glad that we made the trip! Everything was in my price range. Nancy was fantastic, and we got the best deal! Thank you so much. I would give you ten stars if I could.
