Brides N Belles

I ordered my dress from Brides n Belles. My experience of saying yes to the dress was amazing. My consultant was great and super helpful. She even got emotional with me. I love my dress and if it were not for that, I would not take my business here. I have had nothing but headache from the time I left from saying yes. My dress came in in late January/early February. I asked to order some additional items for my dress and they said no problem, that it would take 8-12 weeks. At this same time of ordering stuff for my wedding gown, I also ordered a bridesmaid’s dress for my MOH, nothing custom, just wanted the style of the sample dress that she tried on. about 12-14 weeks later, I call to check the status of both items, they said they are still on order and will be a few more weeks. I call a month later to come to find out that the items were never ordered. Okay, this is fine, I guess, my wedding is not until September, we have time. So they “put in the order”. I call another few weeks later to find out they had questions on what I actually ordered which makes me think my order never got placed! June comes and my MOH goes into the store and asks the status, they said it will be in in July. July is now here and the items are not in. They now said August. I do not understand how their stories keep getting changed and we keep getting the run around. I am very unsatisfied with this company and if it were not for the love of my dress, I would go elsewhere. I am hoping that I have better news come August when my stuff is supposed to be in.

I was extremely disappointed with my visit to Brides N' Belles. Trying on wedding dresses should be a fun experience, but my consultant, Becky, ruined it for me. She was very rude and didn't hide the fact that she was annoyed with me. I've been trying to go over the appointment in my head to determine if I said something wrong to make her so upset with me. I think I said that no matter what dress I decided on, I would need to think about it before purchasing it. This is a big decision for me, and many other brides, so I don't feel as though I was in the wrong for saying that. Initially, she arrived 15 minutes late to my appointment, which actually didn't bother my mom and I at all. It was her rudeness towards us that upset me. I was so uncomfortable and left my appointment wanting to cry. Unfortunately, I found my dress that day, but luckily I called Vera's and they have it there. I will do my business elsewhere, because I refuse to pay money towards a company that would treat my mom and I like that.

My experience was absolutely horrible! Every time anyone had to talk with them the staff and owner were rude and disrespectful. The could never Helmand any mistakes made wee pushed off on whichever individual they talked to, and there were many! I would not recommend this place to anyone!

Living in Madison, I had heard Brides and Belles was worth the drive. My first visit went well and in fact I found a dress I loved right away. I purchased the dress even though it was outside of my price range because they included so much with it, and it fit me like a dream (the sample dress was perfect). Unfortunately the dress that arrived was nothing like the sample dress. The fit was completely different and the bust was really strangley made. Not flattering at all. The staff even admitted to me that they had been noticing the designers of the dress doing that to many of their dresses. So they basically admitted it was a manufacturing issue that made the dress so strange, yet I had to pay for multiple alterations, that helped make the dress look OK but not as good as the sample dress. I was originally told based on the fit of the sample dress that I wouldn't need a bra, since the dress was backless and I didnt want to wear pasties or anything. But the owner had me buy a $50 bra online to help me with the dress that arrived messed up in the bust. I complained multiple times that I didn't want to wear a bra but she insisted that it would help the fit. Well the bra she had me order showed on the sides of the dress, which she said she was fix and charged me for, but they bra was still visible in my wedding photos by several inches. The staff just seemed like they couldn't really care less. I had paid upfront for the dress, and they knew it was too late for me to go somewhere else. They were very rude to my wedding party was well, and left us alone in the store many times even though we had an appointment. Overall I would not recommend this store to anyone.

At first, I loved Brides N' Belles... I had a great experience purchasing my dress there, but after we made that "big" purchase... everything else was a disaster. The way we were treated every time we walked into the store, was complete disappointment. They never even acknowledged my then fiancé whenever he came in with me and every time I just felt like I was a burden for them to be helping. The tuxes were all wrong... thankfully they were able to do the fixes in house for some...but others needed to have shirts and coats re-ordered in. Some of our bridesmaid dresses came in completely sized wrong...some were too small...some were too big. Brenda was also very unaccommodating. She couldn't find a match to a shoe that she had on display that my mother wanted to try on. So my mom asked her to purchase in another pair and Brenda told her that if she orders them, my mother needs to purchase the shoes without even trying on both of the shoes. After spending HUNDREDS of dollars at this bridal store, she wouldn't even order in a pair of shoes to try on. Overall, I LOVED my dress. It was perfect! Annie was fabulous to work with when getting my alterations, and the alterations actually came in pretty reasonably priced, especially for all the work they did on the dress. I just wish that we could've been treated a little better by the staff working there.

I couldn't be more happy with my decision to get my wedding dress at Brides N Belles! Melissa helped me find the perfect dress and was so nice during the entire process! She listened to what I wanted and helped me find my dream dress! I also had my alterations done there as well and you could tell that they spend a lot of time and detail making sure that your dress is perfect for you when it's done! I wouldn't have wanted to get my dress anywhere else!

They were awesome throughout the whole process of choosing and altering my wedding dress. They had a really wide variety of dresses within my price range and the stylist understood what I was going for right away. The alterations dept. was really flexible with my schedule since I was from out of town and the dress fit me perfectly on the day-of. I got so many compliments!

Would recommend to anyone! After going through some other weddings with family I noticed even more the respect I received and the help I was given from Brides N Belles! All around great experience!!! Love and will definitely use again!

My Mom and I went to Brides N Belles as the first stop for finding the perfect Wedding dress and I found "The one" on the very first day! The help at Brides N Belles is spectacular.. they are knowledgeable, kind and I felt very comfortable in their hands. As a more curvy bride, we found the perfect dress to flatter my figure. I never felt judged or less than an absolute princess thanks to their flawless sales staff! We went to several other stores and ended up coming back to get the Mother of the Bride dress as well. We got all our jewelry, shoes, clutches there too. They were easy to work with and true to their word.. when something was to be done, it was done. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a flawless, perfect experience! 10 stars!!!

The ladies at Brides N Belles are great at what they do! I found my dress in Houston, TX but when I came back to Wisconsin they didn't have it in the store, they helped me try on similar ones for my family to see but I just knew that was the one. They helped convince my family that I needed to stick with my gut feeling. My dress was perfect in the end and they were so accommodating to me coming back and forth from Texas.

After having a very bad experience elsewhere, Brides N Belles was WONDERFUL!!! Not only did they treat myself and the others with me great, I found the perfect dress at a VERY reasonable price. Would definitely recommend them. We also are getting our bridesmaid dresses and tuxedos through them!!!!

Brides N Belles was only the second shop that I went to in search of my perfect dress. I didn't ened to look any further! I found my dream gown quickly, with their large selection of gorgeous designer dresses. The gown didn't take long to arrive after I ordered it, so I had plenty of time to get my 3 alterations in before the wedding day. Every time I went to Brides N Belles, I was greeted with a friendly smile from courteous employees. And don't even get me started on Brenda (the owner)- what an AMAZING woman! She is so incredibly nice, and when I wasn't sure about an embellishment on my dress, she helped me turn it into the look I was searching for. I really can't say enough good things about this shop- hands down the best bridal shop! I highly recommend Brides N Belles.

Brides N Belles was the only store I wanted to shop for my dress. Not only because they are local but I had heard many good things about them. I was a little disappointed in not feeling very welcome, we had to search for our consultant to help me out of the dress after waiting 20 minutes or more for her to come back when there was no one else in the shop. During alterations I just didn't feel comfortable I almost felt like an inconvenience. It just wasn't the bridal experience I had expected from such a well talked about shop. Overall I was very pleased with my dress - dissapointed in customer service.

I was impressed and had a wonderful experience from Brides & Belles when shopping for my wedding dress and for my bridesmaid dress! Melissa was amazing to work with, she helped me through every step of the way and always had a smile on her face! They are so genuine and all the employees made my experience a dream! I purchased my wedding gown in June. The girl who helped me was incredible. She really listened to what I liked and what I didn't like. I wouldn't have even tried on the dress I bought if she hadn't suggested it. I am very happy with my purchase. We also bought our bridesmaid dresses and Brides & Belles, and the whole process went without a hitch!

I searched 4 other Bridal stores, before Brides and Belles. I went to my appointment alone not expecting to find a dress. I found not 1, but 2 dresses I fell in love with equally. The service was great!! I tried on the same 2 dresses over and over and over. I'm giving them only 4 stars, because I was"forced" to decide in which dress I wanted that day in order to get 20% off. I wish I had a little more time to show my options to my maid of honor for her opinion. However, I do love my dress.

I had a wonderful experience at Brides and Belles. My visit was about an hour, and I was there alone. Melissa made me feel very comfortable, and moved at the pace I needed her to. I ended up finding a simple dress, and talking through alterations to customize it...making it my dream dress! This was the 4th boutique I visited, and it was by far better than the rest! I can't wait for my dress to come in!!

Brides N Belles went above and beyond to make sure my dress was absolutely perfect. I had originally wanted some custom things done to my dress, and when it first came in from the designer it was done completely wrong! Brenda and her staff assured me that they could fix my dress without sending it back or buying a completely new dress. They fixed the changes free of cost, and they went above and beyond in fittings to make sure it was exactly how I wanted. After lots of fixes, my dress turned out perfectly - and all within a reasonable price for alterations! I would highly recommend going to this bridal shop in a small town where they remember your name when you walk in!

Brides n Belles was the first wedding dress shop that I went to and because Melissa was so helpful and willing to take the extra time I needed, I decided to purchase my dress from here. For the most part everything went great and the dress was gorgeous. The day of the wedding though I had found out that I did not have my straps that I had them include. The boning in my dress buckled on both sides causing discomfort and bruising on my ribs. Really wished those straps would have been there! Brenda, the owner did apologize for this but did suggest that I was top heavy so that is the reason why the buckeling could have happened. I would have thought that if they felt the dress was not going to hold up the day of my wedding someone would have said something to me. After all isn't this why they are there? To offer advice on what style might be best for the body type? Overall - the experience with the staff was great during the initial appointment and fittings.
