Baylie and her team are AMAZING! Baylie was so responsive, even to my late night freak out emails. I feel like I changed my order a thousand times and each time, Baylie was nothing but polite and courteous and help guided me in my tent rental. The team that set up the tent confirmed each decision with me during the process and were quick about the setup. Also the sailcloth tent is absolutely beautiful and provided the perfect atmosphere for my wedding without feeling like our wedding was under a basic event tent.
Peerless Events did a great job of unloading all our tables and chairs and picking them up. They were very professional and timely.
Peerless was contracted to provide a tent with heating and lighting for our ceremony on Dec 8th. Our coordinator had worked with them before and recommended them due to the last-minute booking (the weather wasn't looking good for our outdoor ceremony, so we pulled the trigger the Tuesday before our Saturday wedding.
Jennifer, the main sales person, was easy to work with and sent a team out to our venue (The Filter Building) during the week to make sure that the tent would work. She confirmed that everything looked good and that there was plenty of power to support the heaters/lighting.
Fast forward to the day of the wedding. First, the set-up crew didn't know what time to set up, despite it being in the notes. When they got there, they didn't know where the tent was supposed to be - again, despite it being in the notes we reviewed with Jennifer. Once the tent was set up, they realized the heater was broken. We didn't get another one until 3pm (wedding was at 4pm and the Peerless team told us that the heaters had to be on for at least 2 hours for the tent to be heated at all). When the heater was plugged in, it popped the breaker. While our coordinator and the maintenance man at the venue tried to troubleshoot, the Peerless set-up team left, saying it wasn't their issue.
Due to timing, we had to move forward with the ceremony. The tent was cold and the lights kept going off (one of the coordinator's team members was upstairs with the breaker to flip it every time it kicked off). After we finished and went upstairs for our private moment, we both looked at each other and said, "What a shit show."
The tent was also supposed to be used for the cocktail hour, which didn't happen because it was cold and dark. Once the ceremony was done, my coordinator and the maintenance man started to look into the set-up and realized that the Peerless team had plugged all the heaters and lighting into one extension cord that went to one outlet. I'm no electrician, but I do know that when you overload a circuit, you will pop the breaker.
Once they saw this and replugged stuff in using the other available outlets on the back patio, the heather and lighting worked great and the breaker didn't pop. Unfortunately, this was 2 hours into the evening, so no one used the tent anyway.
When we were having issues, we couldn't get a hold of Peerless, despite them having an emergency line. When they finally called back, they offered to bring out a generator (that we would be charged for) but couldn't get it out there until 7 or so (again, ceremony was at 4).
Then, when we tried to contact the company after the fact to discus what happened and get a refund, it took weeks to get a call back. We finally got connected with the owner, Matt Cosby, who essentially said that they weren't responsible for the set-up. I'm sure if the tent had blown away due to faulty set-up, they wouldn't have been responsible for that either.
We requested half of our $4K back. He accused us of trying to take advantage of him - an interesting approach to customer service. After much haggling, we finally agreed to a refund of $1.3K, which was given begrudgingly.
Our coordinator told them that they have lost her business, and I have advised my friends who are getting married to steer clear. If you are lucky enough to have everything go right, I'm sure you will have a great experience. But know that they have inexperienced team members who don't know how to do a proper set-up, and if that goes awry, they will take no responsibility. For your wedding or any other event, it's worth it to go somewhere else.
My company booked in Peerless Events & Tents for a wedding on Lake Jacksonville this past Sunday. Renee was super helpful and accommodating right from the start. I made SEVERAL changes to the initial quote and she never once complained or seemed frustrated. On the day of the set up, I needed more changes made and Renee and Dan both accommodated us again and again. All the way from Dallas to Jacksonville, TX. The set up crews were all great and friendly as well. This is a great company that will bend over backwards and go way out of their way to help their customers and get the job done. Thank you SO much for the amazing service and beautiful setup!!
Perfection. So easy to work with even though we made lots of small changes. Set up and take down was easy and efficient. Everything was in perfect repair and clean. One of the best experiences of our mostly do-it-yourself wedding. Highly recommend.
I rented flatware from them for my wedding and they were delivered extremely dirty. We hand polished each one and had to hand wash a few that had some leftovers or spots on them that wouldn't come off easily before setting them out on the tables. Delivery and pickup went smoothly, they just seemed overpriced for the way they look when delivered for a big event.
My experience with Peerless Events and Tents was wonderful. Unfortunately we had chosen another company for my daughters wedding tent. When we were in need of pole drapes, the company we had contracted was no t accommodating. Danna was very helpful and responsive when I called for multiple quotes. We used the warehouse for pickup and return and everyone was friendly and professional. I wish we had found Peerless sooner!
I had called other tent rental places for my wedding and they did not give me what I was looking for. When I called Peerless and got Dan Ferris on the phone he not only gave me what I was looking for but came to see the wedding site and expand everything and gave he's thoughts and ideas on what else I would need to get the perfect wedding tent.
He has returned every email and phone call which I my book is amazing.

Peerless Events and Tents is a great company to work with. Dana assisted our family with rentals for a small party, and has assisted with planning for my nieces wedding next year. We used Peerless for my nephew's wedding and were completely satisfied with the farm tables and benches for the rehearsal dinner. They fit perfectly in the outdoor setting making it look like a picture out of a magazine. Baylie was a delight to work with and assisted us with all of our needs. We would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

Baylie took remarkable care of us! Excellent company to work with! Used them for a wedding recently - all indoors, and the quality of EVERYTHING they provided (serving dishes, plates, glasses, tables, linens, farm tables, really cool industrial cocktail tables) was top quality, delivered on-time, and most importantly, taken down and removed on schedule. The best part about using them was that they are experts - i didn't have to bring ideas and ask for anything specific - they asked what our goals were and brought ideas that were within budget. Experts in every sense of the word!
I got married on March 12, 2016 and had the pleasure of working with Baylie Hill at Peerless. Her creativity made our day more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. The Peerless team worked together to provide us with functional and elegant rentals, and were extremely friendly and easy to work with. We will proudly use them for all of our future rental needs!
The Elite College Showcases have been using Dallas Party & Tent for years for their College Showcases, since about 2002 I believe. Over the years I can say that the product and support have been outstanding. As anyone knows, problems occur no matter what you do or who you use. People, businesses and contractors should be measured, not by the fact that they had an issue, but rather how the respond to the issue. I have been working with Sandi for several years now, I even when there are problems, Sandi and the, now Peerless Events & Tents, team have done a phenomenal job taking care of us. Problems, although do happen at times are rectified immediately and everything is done with professionalism.
An example, now that I know Peerless and Dallas Party and Tent are one, we have previously used a different company for our Showcase in Round Rock. Sandi informed me that there was a branch in the Austin area so, to me, it was a no-brainer to make the switch. The previous company was always very slow to respond however I continued to use them since they knew what was required annually. It was the easy way out for me. Additionally their product was below average. This year, we used Peerless out of Austin and were extremely happy with everything. I met the installation crew to show them what we needed and the location and the supervisor was amazingly polite and helpful and everything went very well.
I highly recommend Peerless Events & Tents, their customer service has been a 10!!!
Unfortunately we were only allowed by our reception hall to use this vendor. We met with them on multiple occasions and they were so unorganized. We drew up plans to explain exactly were all 8 of our tables would go. They only had to place 8 guest tables and a head table. When we arrived at our reception, the tables were pushed into our dance floor area. None of them were in the right place and our head table was so close to the wall that I couldn't even get to my seat without having to make everyone get up and squeezing by. Totally disappointing.
My fiance - now wife- recently hired Dallas Party Tent & Event for our wedding. Not so great.
As a disclaimer, the staff that came out to set up and break down did a great job. They were friendly and efficient. There was a mishap with communication between the main office and the field guys in how the dance floor was to be set up, but the staff was quick to find a solution.
My complaint is with the company's front office/coordination. Their scheduling is worse than the cable company.
They not give you a specific time frame of when the crew will be there to set up or break down. If you are planning a wedding, these are key things to know. My fiance asked if they would be there early in the morning as in 7 am? "yea, possibly -or they could be there as late as 9 pm". THAT"S A HUGE WINDOW! (side note - their form does have check boxes for times - they just choose to leave it blank).
They arrived late in the day for the set up, and late afternoon for break down. We rolled with the punches for the set up because, well, we needed the tables, chairs and floor.
For the pick up, they refused to give us an time window. I mentioned that I had lots of out of town guests to still attend to and take to the airport, and since our backyard was gated bc of a pool, we could not leave it open for them. She put me on hold, only to come back and say, they'll be there sometime this afternoon. She said that it was their policy not to give time frames. We could not both meet up or send off our out of town friends and family that flew in from LA, NY, Japan, and hawaii because we needed to be there to wait for the crew to come sometime in the afternoon. We were sad and furious.
If time/scheduling is an issue for you, then DPTE is not for you. Even if it isn't a concern for your situation, the company's lack of consideration should be enough for you to go elsewhere.
Most of the staff was friendly. I don't think what I got was worth what I paid I ordered 100 chairs and 10 tables original and ended up paying 500 they were not garden chairs the we the metal white chairs that came with rust so I had to get chair covers which was not what I wanted. I called 5 days be for to change my order to add 4 long tables which was fine and take off 2 round tables but the lady had called me two days before and asked me could they deliver early.... like 4 days early I said sure. Well when I said that I wanted to take off the two round tables it was a problem she stated that I had until the day before delivery to change my order I told he my original delivery was 5 day from then and they changed it and she told me basically it was not her problem... How Rude idk it was a bad experience especially when you are already under ton of stress thanks a lot lady!!!
We hired Austin Party Tent and Event for a corporate event in October. They supplied the tent, tables, chairs, and table cloths. They weren't the prettiest tables, but once you add the table cloths, you can not tell a difference. We were able to change our order multiple times with the help of Chelsea, their coordinator. We will be renting from this company again for our upcoming events!

I was unable to receive my money back when I decided not to rent anything from here after finding out that my venue would provide everything I needed.
The people over there are very knowledgeable and helpful. We got a great tent and tables and chairs at a good price and they were very accommodating. They let us wait till the last minute (almost) to order a tent (we didn't actually want it but there was rain in the forecast.)We were very pleased with everything
This company was great to work with. My contact Sandi was awesome. She made sure we both had every "t" crossed and "i" dotted prior to our reception. The delivery guys were perfectly on time and we got everything we had requested. The quality of items was great. Their location in Abilene is not open usually but you can easily contact them online. They were much friendlier than the other rental facilities here in town!!
They did exactly what they said they would do. They arrived on time, put up the tent and then arrived to take it down timely. The tent was clean, chairs were just what we needed and tables went up without a hitch. Thank you for your help. Everything turned out lovely.
I loved the lighting in the tent... they made everything perfect!
