Unfortunately I didn’t have a great experience with Bright Event Rentals. I went with this company based off the plates and silverware they could provide over other companies. Maybe it was because I booked them 4 months before my wedding, but they couldn’t deliver to my venue so I arranged for them to deliver at a different location a few days earlier. I booked everything online and it was simple. Fast forward to two days before the wedding and I get a call from my rental representative Jodi who left a voicemail telling me the delivery people were trying to deliver the rentals to the venue and were receiving pushback since it clearly states in the contract with the venue that nothing can be stored overnight. As soon as I could I called her back and told her the delivery should have been at another location. It was supposed to be in Santa Clarita and they delivered to Camarillo. Jodi said they couldn’t deliver to Santa Clarita even though I told her it was a mistake. LUCKILY, the venue was able to accommodate the delivery and stored it inside someone’s office for 2 days. The rentals were exactly as pictured and I loved the esthetics. I made sure to tell Jodi to have the delivery scheduled for pick up at the original location in Santa Clarita and they did eventually pick up the rentals. It was supposed to be on a Monday and they picked them up that Friday. I definitely didn’t need the unnecessary stress from the delivery mixup, but it ended up working out. I would definitely make sure the pick up and delivery addresses are correct with each invoice because the final invoice was where they changed the delivery location.
We used Bright Event Rentals for our wedding at Casa Romantica as it was the only choice for our venue. Unfortunately we did not have the best experience. When we initially went to the show room to pick our rentals we were given the wrong address by staff and we drove an hour to the wrong location. Throughout the back and forth prior to the wedding, there were many duplications and many unnecessary items. They also encouraged an $800 non-refundable “insurance” in case anything broke, yet none of the items we had surmounted to that cost. Even with our concerns, they did setup the venue very well. After the wedding day our caterers informed us that the bright event rental’s stove burner was not working properly in order to prepare dinner. The caterer had to transport their food back to their restaurant to use their own ovens due to Bright Events broken ovens.
We used Bright rentals for our flatware, napkins, hedge walls and cooking supplies. They were very easy to work with and accommodating with many changes that we had along the way. The items we rented were also very high quality, especially the hedge walls - we loved the color of them. I would definitely recommend them if you are in the San Diego area!
We rented the majority of our dinnerware from Bright for our July 2021 wedding. The Umbria flats and Tahoe flatware added such a masculine elegance to our tablescape. The pumpkin napkins also paired perfectly with our other linen selections. We enjoyed visiting their showroom and seeing many of these items in person before making our final selections. It was so helpful to mix and match to determine which combination worked best. They also allowed our planner to take a few combinations of items to our tablescape mockup with our florist which really helped lock in what we wanted to do!
We had to use Bright event rentals for our recent July wedding and our contact person, Bella, was extremely helpful and accommodating from the start until the end— with multiple editing, add-ons, removals, changing styles/color — very accommodating, patient, and very responsive. Our wedding decor turned out beautiful! I couldn’t be happier!
We used Bright Rentals for our April 2021 wedding. We had a venue change fairly close to the wedding date due to COVID-19 lockdown restrictions and they pivoted no problem. Great selection, easy to work with – shout out to Events by Courtney Ann for recommending their services
In the end Classic did a wonderful job, but they were probably our most difficult vendor to work with (a lot of back and forth, mistakes on pricing, etc). Classic was also way more expensive than other rental companies we looked at. We only hired them because we were doing a tent with draping and they have the most experience with that. Unless you have an unlimited budget or are doing something unique like we did, I would recommend going with a different rental company.
Classic does a great job but only go with them if you have a large or unlimited budget as they are very expensive and unwilling to budge on the price of anything.
We have used Classic Party Rentals for the last 15 years for 3 weddings, Torrey Pines events, and parties at our home. Everyone at Classic is professional and we have never been disappointed with the quality of the items rented. My wife and I recommend Classic Party Rentals without hesitation.
Staff is friendly & efficient, but we found out after booking them that their prices were on the higher end... If you can, when you reserve your caterer, it would probably more cost friendly to use them rather than outsource a rental company. Classic does have many options to choose from with makes it nice though!
I was so disappointed with classic prior to my wedding day. After doing my research, I chose classic rentals due to their great reviews even though they were more expensive than others. They were slow to respond/unresponsive at times, passed off the work to assistants who had no idea what they were doing, and unprofessional. I probably got 10 different rental quotes until i finally received one that was correct. I was so worried they were going to mess something up I ended up paying my wedding planner more to have her come earlier to oversee the set up. I have to say, the day of the wedding went smoothly and everything arrived on time, correct and beautiful however the planning with them prior to that was so stressful, near the end I had my wedding planner communicate with them directly because I didn't want to deal with them anymore.
The set up was absolutely beautiful. They helped plan things out and made my reception even more beautiful than I could've imagined.
I had found another rental vendor that was very cheap, but then I did a bit of homework and found many bad reviews for them. In doing that research I found glowing reviews for Classic Party Rentals. I approached them with my original very low quotes and Classic worked with my budget to give me a competitive rate. Our reception venue also gave them a good review since they frequently set up for events there. They were reliable and delivered what we needed to make the day a success!

Overall, a great vendor. They provided everything just as we requested. There was a little confusion with the time they arrived for set-up...they shpwed up hours before we were expecting them so we weren't there to direct them. Erin is fantastic to work with and they ahve provided services at the venue we used many many times so they were familiar with the everything.
Great selection of linens and we found the chivari chairs we wanted through them.
