We had a wonderful experience with Scott and his team. From the beginning, we had a bunch of questions on choosing types of lighting for our wedding - whether to do string lights, moon balloons, pinspot, etc. and Scott was very, very patient and informative through the entire process. The team at Brilliant Event Lighting really outdid themselves for our wedding! We told them we wanted to turn our winery venue in Temecula into a gay nightclub worthy of West Hollywood. And they did not disappoint! We had a disco ball installation above the dance floor and a variety of uplights as well as moving dancing lights that really made the whole place come alive once the dancing started. And to top it all off, they brought in a fog machine to give it that extra nightclub feels. We were beyond thrilled with how everything turned out. Scott and Brilliant Event Lighting did an amazing job with our wedding at Rancho Bernardo Inn. The lighting and draping really pulled together the ballroom -- it looked perfect! It was a beautiful and cost effective way of making the space look stunning.

Scott, and Brilliant Event Lighting, were sooooo fantastic for my wedding this past Saturday!! I rented the cold sparklers, which was a HUGE hit, as well as the dance floor lighting! Scott was so professional from the very beginning and his communication was so prompt. My guests are STILL talking about the "WOW" factor of the cold sparklers, and they added so much to the overall aesthetic of my wedding (not to mention the photos will be PHENOMENAL). And then the dance floor lighting just added to the overall party atmosphere. All in all, Scott and his team were so amazing and I would recommend them over and over again!

For our wedding at the Bali Hai's Hawaiian Village, we wanted some softer outdoor lighting & papel picado. Scott from Brilliant Event Lighting provided some excellent examples & took care of everything. He's extremely responsive over email so coordinating was simple. We were able to rent their papel - which made the decoration extra easy. I've never actually met Scott because his team were so efficient that they set up our lighting / decor prior to the setup time at the Bali Hai. That meant that the second we showed up - everything looked amazing. Thank you Scott & Brilliant Event Lighting for your help on our special day!

Scott & Brilliant Event Lighting were such a pleasure to work with and I can't recommend them enough! We hired them to provide cold sparkler boxes (which I highly recommend because they add such an amazing, magical feeling to the event & make the photos and videos look SO much better!!!) as well as adding drapes and market lights to our reception space. Everything looked beautiful and the entire experience was excellent! They came recommended by our venue and we're so glad!  From the start, the communication was prompt and professional.  Their pricing is reasonable and they even exceeded our expectations!

Scott is great! I booked them for my wedding in October and everything went well. I used a parking lot for the reception and I didn't exactly have an idea in mind of how I wanted the set up to be, all I knew is that I didn't want it to look like a regular parking lot. Scott knew what I wanted before I even thought it! Alas, everything went great and I got so many compliments on how the reception and the lights came together! It definitely was a memorable night for my guests! I highly recommend him!

Throughout the entire planning process Scott at Brilliant Lighting was so great! He answered every question, and calmed every worry! By the time my wedding came I was so confident in his services and he did not disappoint! Our day of lighting was remarkable and so beautiful! While I was not the day- of contact (obviously!) my MOH said they were professional and early for setup and it went off without a hitch!! I would definitely recommend to everyone’s a I know!

We had our wedding at Bali Hai Restaurant and used Brilliant Event Lighting. They helped make the space look more elegant and created some nice lighting during the dancing. They got everything set up on Friday so the wedding on Saturday flowed seamlessly. I love how the lights and drapes looked up on the ceiling! Would definitely recommend!

Me and my wife couldn't have wished for a better person to have our curtains and lighting done at our wedding. Scott communicated very well and he uses apps/websites that was hi-tech and easy to navigate and review your wedding info. He even took the time to come out the second time to the venue to review the details and make adjustments for us. He never rushed us, never tried to oversell on things we didn't want but always patient, honest, dependable, gave us great recommendations, and very professional. Everything was set up on time and the curtains and lighting really made the venue look even better. The gobo design of our names was really nice as well. Great lighting, great service, great prices.

I recently got married on July 4th at Tom Hams Lighthouse. A few months prior to the wedding we had attended a wedding vendor event at Tom Hams. This event allowed customers to see the venue set up & also get connected with vendors (Flowers, DJs, Lighting, Desserts). I had met Scott from Brilliant Event Lighting at this event and booked him right on the spot. He made that venue come to life! He was the only vendor that stood out to me that night. Scott did a fabulous job at our wedding. He provided market lights on the patio which gave such a romantic ambience. He also provided up lighting inside the venue. Scott was such a pleasure to work with. He made things so easy for me (and as a Bride that was much needed). He maintained great communication throughout the upcoming weeks to the wedding and he definitely knew his stuff! The morning of the wedding I drove by the venue and saw Scotts work trucked parked outside, so I pulled in and went inside. It was 10am and the wedding didn't start until 6pm. I walked in and Scott and his team were nearly finishing up setting up all their lighting equipment! He coordinated with the venue to arrive early and it was such a relief! He went above and beyond and really made our wedding so special. His services are worth it! I would highly recommend him for any event!

Scott was wonderful to work with. We used his lighting and draping services for our wedding and he did an incredible job! He helped us pick the best lights and draping configuration leading up to our wedding, and even upgraded us for free to new pin lights the month before our wedding because he got new equipment. The mark of a good vendor is one you don’t have to worry about, and Scott definitely falls into that category. Highly recommend!

Amazing company. They were so professional and aconodating. The Pipe and drape with twinkle lights they set up was more beautiful than I could have imagined. It was the focal point of the reception and we had so many compliments. I highly recommend Scott and his company!

Scott and his team are simply the BEST !! They transformed a large ballroom into a more intimate and romantic wedding venue through their use of colored up lights and personalized the wedding venue with Gobo lighting of the couple's name on the wall Scott was so responsive to all communications, always getting back to us wthin the same day, and so flexible and accomodating that he ended up changing our color selections three times because we kept changing our minds. He is just a dream to work with , creative in givng the couple what they want, and very affordable. We are very happy we had Brilliant Lighting as part of our wedding team !!

Our wedding on June 30, 2017 was beautiful and it's all thanks to Scott! The twinkly lights and lanterns added such a special touch to our reception at the San Diego Botanic Gardens. We shopped around a lot for lighting and Scott truly was the most reasonable and professional we could find. I've seen it where they use huge barrels of water to hold the poles and cover them with black fabric, but Scott's were not done that way. They were less bulky and not even noticeable. I would definitely recommend him to other couples in need of lighting! Thanks Scott!!

We got married in April and used Brilliant Event Lighting for market lights over the Rose Garden courtyard at Darlington House. We shared the lighting with the other couple getting married that weekend, and Scott was easy to work with and gave us a great price to set them up and leave them for 2 days. The lights looked great and created a nice warm atmosphere as the sun set.

Lighting is always an afterthought and it shouldn't be - these guys helped make the party! Easy to work with, polite - no issues with the venue. Definitely recommend these guys!

I hired them for a custom gobo monogram and LED up lighting. The service was great. Scott was very easy to work with from start to finish. The lighting that Brilliant Event Lighting set up for our wedding reception really made it special. The market lights and white paper lanterns definitely enhanced the outdoor pavilion (Hawaiian Village at Bali Hai Restaurant), and made it look festive and gorgeous. Guests remarked on how nice they thought it looked. After looking at the photos from the wedding, we were glad we had the lighting added because it really showed up well in the photographs.
