About this vendor
BriteCo is an engagement ring and wedding insurance provider operating nationwide. This business specializes in providing insurance coverage for engagement rings, wedding bands, and other pieces of jewelry to couples all over the United States. Additionally, they provide event insurance focused on weddings, providing liability and cancellation insurance to couples.
Born out of the experiences of founder and CEO Dustin Lemick, a third-generation retail jeweler, BriteCo has transformed the jewelry retail and insurance experience to make the process as seamless as possible. He understands first-hand the frustrations his customers felt in dealing with homeowners’ or renters’ policies that didn’t cover the full value of lost or stolen jewelry. Now, the company provides clients with peace of mind in knowing that their needs are understood and met by their insurance provider.
BriteCo jewelry insurance provides clients with comprehensive insurance policies that cover a wide range of circumstances. Clients can claim in the event of loss, theft, and damage, as well as mysterious disappearances. The company’s worldwide coverage allows you to travel the world without worrying about your policy’s limitations.
BriteCo event insurance offers clients comprehensive coverage tailored to protect their special moments. Whether it’s a wedding, anniversary, or another milestone celebration, BriteCo’s policies cover a wide range of potential issues, including event cancellations, postponements, and vendor mishaps. With flexible options and industry exclusives, clients can plan and celebrate with confidence, knowing their investment is safeguarded.

gured I should get ring insurance. We initially chose BriteCo for jewelry insurance because the boutique we bought the ring from recommended them and they had the cheapest premium. The low premium made me worried about potentially filing a claim in the future.
Thankfully, there was no need to worry! During my anniversary dinner celebration my ring slipped off at some point, unbeknownst to me. After bawling for 2 hours I filed a claim and hoped for the best. The director of customer success reached out to me a few days later and poured a wave of relief over me. She was extremely compassionate and guided me through the whole process, even when I was talking with their network adjuster. She stayed with me through the whole thing keeping track of the progress, nudging people when necessary and seemed genuinely invested in my situation. My ring was not an easy ring to replace either, it was uniquely made and after getting my replacement I was blown away how accurate it was. And then of course reinsuring the new ring for the new higher value was easy peasy.
I am super happy with my BriteCo experience and couldn’t recommend them enough!

with whichever jeweler you choose and not just opt for the cheapest option for a replacement or repair. And on top of all that their rates were lower than my current insurance. Sign up process was also super easy and overall a very smooth experience between a customer and a business.

crossing my fingers that I never have to file a claim, but it's reassuring to know that my ring will be replaced or fixed to its original condition if something goes wrong. My policy with BriteCo costs about $80 less than other stand alone jewelry insurance companies so I am very pleased that I stumbled upon them. Super happy with my experience, give them a look if you need to insure your jewelry!
Insuring my engagement ring with BriteCo turned out to be one of the best decisions I made after getting engaged! Unfortunately, only a few months after getting my ring I bent one ...
of the prongs at the gym and the center stone fell out. Luckily, filing a claim online was super simple and BriteCo reached out to me the very next day. What really impressed me was having a single point of contact throughout the entire claim process, which made communication so much smoother and they really took the time to understand the damage and guide me through the repair process. Once I selected a jewelry store, BriteCo worked directly with them, and in less than two weeks, I had my ring back on my finger. BriteCo was so great during the process the jewelry store even commented on how easy they were to work with and how quickly they responded to questions. Thank you, BriteCo for insuring my engagement ring set and keeping me in the loop throughout the whole process. And most importantly, thank you for making sure that my ring was back on my finger in time for my engagement photoshoot! It would’ve been pretty awkward to take engagement photos with a bare ring finger. I will definitely continue using BriteCo for all my engagement ring insurance needs and highly recommend them to others!
The BriteCo application process was so simple! You’ll need an appraisal or some sort of documentation to get insured, but no worries if you don't have one. They offer appraisals fo...
r a very reasonable price which you can do completely online. The policy was actually way cheaper than what it would've been if I added it to my homeowners policy, and now if I ever need to make a claim on the jewelry policy, I don’t have to worry about it jacking up my homeowners insurance premium. Well worth it!
Smooth sailing with BriteCo! It's refreshing to see an insurance company that's actually keeping up with technology. I needed coverage for my jewelry, so I filled out a quick form ...

y up to 125 and lose and no deductible. Then my husband lost his watch golfing. They get back to me and state it wasn’t out in safe so I have to pay 5 percent of watch. The jeweler also stated this watch has increased by 1000. They are paying less than covered and I am responsible for almost 2000 if I want replaced. Unreal.
