Thankfully, there was no need to worry! During my anniversary dinner celebration my ring slipped off at some point, unbeknownst to me. After bawling for 2 hours I filed a claim and hoped for the best. The director of customer success reached out to me a few days later and poured a wave of relief over me. She was extremely compassionate and guided me through the whole process, even when I was talking with their network adjuster. She stayed with me through the whole thing keeping track of the progress, nudging people when necessary and seemed genuinely invested in my situation. My ring was not an easy ring to replace either, it was uniquely made and after getting my replacement I was blown away how accurate it was. And then of course reinsuring the new ring for the new higher value was easy peasy.
