Bri'Zan Couture

First and foremost I reached out via email with the following concerns and never received a response back, so I decided to post on my concerns on social media for all to see . My recent visit to Bri’Zan Couture, despite my initial excitement, was marred by several disappointments. I had chosen this shop due to the Disney Fairy Tale collection, even though it meant a 2.5-hour drive from my home. However, my dress alterations appointment yielded no results, and my "final alterations" appointment left me waiting for 60 minutes , with a lack of empathy from the staff. The first initial first negative experience was when I came in for my first appointment, they mentioned I could only have 3 guests, which was already disappointing, I followed the rules , came in and the girl next to me trying on dresses had 6 guests to experience her big day . This made me frustrated since I could not bring my bridesmaids due to this rule . The rush during the fitting resulted in a broken zipper. I was only allowed to try on the dress after insisting to after it was fixed, and we realized on our way home that we hadn't been taught how to bustle it. We made another appointment to be taught on how to bustle the dress and we were again kept waiting another 25 minutes. I was disappointed that my maid of honor wasn't included without my advocacy, and the overall feeling I left with was one of disappointment and frustration. Regrettably, no acknowledgment or compensation was offered to alleviate the inconvenience I experienced. I genuinely hope this feedback is taken constructively, as I believe this store has the potential to provide a truly remarkable bridal shopping experience for future brides. Despite the challenges, the end result does look great. If you are looking for an experience like no other I would go elsewhere.

Bri’Zan was the most amazing experience ever!! Emma was my bridal consultant and she was so amazing, so kind, and patient. I have been to a few stores before but never such a positive, exciting experience at Bri’Zan💜 Sue is one of the sweetest owners! Thank you all for celebrating me and saying YES to the dress!

I found my wedding dress this past Saturday at Bri'Zan! I worked with Alex and I cannot say enough kind words about her. She was super sweet and kind the entire appointment. I was very nervous going into my appointment as I had no idea what the experience was going to be like and she made me super comfortable and made it easy to find what I liked and didn't like about the dresses I tried on. I brought my friends and family and they also felt Bri'Zan was professional and the right place to find my dress. I 100% recommend coming here as my consultant was amazing and the atmosphere was inviting!

I found my wedding dress today at Bri’Zan!! I worked with Alex and she was a dream. The shop has a wide selection and is stunning. The whole staff is a blast! They checked in and gave feedback, encouragement, and praise. But I cannot say enough good things about Alex. She was creative, intuitive, informative, and an absolute blast. Ask for her!!

Kennedy & Ana made the experience unforgettable! They were both very knowledgable stylists and even picked up on my mannerisms when I was unsure between dresses. I ended up booking an additional appointment the next day because I live out of town. They were very accommodating and I never felt rushed. I loved the lace pattern on a dress, but not the straps. Ana was quick to recommend a common alternation that ultimately made me say "yes" to my dress! I would highly recommend Bri'Zan!

I came here after a awful experience with Wolsfelts in Aurora. I worked with Lily, Lupe (My stylist), Kennedy and another girl. They were all absolutely incredible and so so sweet! They took their time with helping my find THE dress and even stayed past close a little for us! I came back 2 days later to hopefully seal the deal and run by some ideas with them and they were so helpful and patient! My sister came with me to get my dress and I’m hoping in a few years I can bring her back here! This was truly an amazing experience and I am so happy Lupe and all the other girls get to be apart of my wedding story!

Wow. Bri'Zan made the entire experience of finding my dress wonderful. Truly, they are a high quality place. I had gone to about 3-4 other locations that I felt a bit rushed, I felt like part of the pack, and that if I didn't buy a dress that was really expensive immediately, I was wasting their time. At Bri'Zan, I felt special - they spent a good hour to an hour and a half helping me find my dress. Alex was so helpful and I felt so at ease with her. Even during the time during my fitting where I got vertigo and needed to sit down and drink some water (lol) I felt very comfortable and helped there. The dresses are GORGEOUS and the moments they make for your dress fitting are magical. I'm not even a "dream dress" kind of girl...but Bri'Zan made the experience really lovely and memorable anyway.

My stylist Kennedy made my experience truly special. This was my first stop in my wedding dress search. I had an idea of style I wanted but quickly i realized I didn’t like that on me. Kennedy did an amazing job listening & truly finding my dream dress for me. She is so sweet and listens to what you say in detail about every dress and finds you that perfect combination. I didn’t think I’d done the one that day but she made it all possible! I highly recommend going there and asking for her!

I couldn't have had a better experience at Bri'Zan Couture! I was lucky enough to have Kennedy be the one helping me. She was incredible. She's super patient, helpful, and truly listens to what you're liking/not liking. I originally went to just browse and try out different styles, and ended up buying a dress on the spot. Bri'Zan Couture has a wide variety of dresses and a style for everyone. I would 100% recommend it, and would 1000% recommend Kennedy to help you find your dream dress!

My stylist Alex was hands down the best person to help me find my perfect dress! She was so intuitive and really catered to me. From start to finish she had it all under control especially with me knowing I had no idea what I wanted or what flattered my figure. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This was the easiest, sweetest experience! Mia was absolutely incredible and may it so easy and effortless! She was the one that picked out the dress I ended up with and everything. I visited Bri’Zan to find a Mother of the Bride dress and the staff was just wonderful! Very friendly and helpful. I ended up buying my dress with the help of Lupe. She was amazing! She was very patient and kind and helped me find the perfect dress!

They were great and spent a lot of time with us. Kennedy was terrific! She picked the dress I ended up getting.

I had a wonderful experience at Bri'Zan working with Kennedy to find my wedding dress. I found my dress in Bri'Zan and I'm in love with it!! Lupe was my consultant and she was amazing and knew exactly what I was looking for. My experience at Bri'Zan was INCREDIBLE! I worked with Kennedy and she was AMAZING! The abolsute best!! I have never felt so comfortable in my own body before than I did while we were trying on wedding dresses! Bri'Zan was my 1st dress shop and 1st time even looking at dresses and WOW, She made my experience what it was! I SAID YES TO THE DRESS MY 1ST NIGHT! I couldn't even believe it! I am the most indecisive person in the world and Kennedy just knew what I needed! She pulled things off the racks I would have NEVER thought I wanted to try on and went completely opposite of what I thought I was looking for after trying a few on and not really loving the styles. Kennedy was absolutely AMAZING!! She made me confident and sexy in body! She made the experience so much better than I could’ve imagined! She read through all the information i had given. She had the specific dress I had asked to be pulled in my size along with some others she thought that I would love. Trying in dresses was so fun! The dress I ended up loving a truck show piece and she made me aware that I didn’t have to buy today if I wasn’t ready, that they could order it at anytime since they carry that couture. Which made me feel at ease. I would definitely recommend Bri’Zan and Kennedy to anyone!

My experience at Bri’Zan Couture was the BEST!!! Kennedy was very attentive while I explained my needs of a dress for my daughter’s wedding in Jamaica. She gave me three options that made my choice difficult because I wanted all of them. Bri’Zan have a very good selection. Her personality was pleasant, comfortable and knowledgeable. Love it!!!

I went to Bri’Zan couture for the very first time, with no idea about what type of dress to go for. Kennedy was excellent! She explained the different types of dresses and styles. She helped pick out a few dresses based on my style. What I love most about Kennedy was that she asked how I felt about each dress before going out to get the opinions of others. I went into dress shopping not knowing what type of dress I wanted. Literally no clue! But thank god for Mia! She gave me a variety of different styles to try on in order to find out what I truly wanted. She was so patient and SO sweet! I didn’t think I’d have that “crying” moment… but thanks to Mia I did! We booked an appointment at Bri'Zan to get an idea of wedding dress styles for my daughter. Kennedy was our consultant, and she was fantastic! Kennedy walked my daughter through the different styles and fabrics. After trying on a few different styles, Kennedy knew exactly the style my daughter was looking for in a dress. My daughter found her dress along with veil. We booked a second appointment with Kennedy before purchasing the dress so my husband can see the dress. Kennedy won my husband over when they discussed tiaras. I highly recommend Kennedy at Bri'Zan Couture.

I just purchased my wedding dress from Bri’Zan Couture today, and am over the moon happy with my choice! My family and I worked with Kennedy and we’re so grateful for her kindness, knowledge, and genuine personality. Since this was my first weekend looking at wedding dresses, I was still trying to figure out the styles and details I wanted in a dress. Kennedy was extremely patient while I tried on a variety of dresses. Though I haven’t received my actual dress yet or gone through the entire process with Bri’Zan, I would definitely recommend their selection of dresses and Kennedy specifically. I found my perfect mother of the bride dress and my daughter also found her perfect wedding dress at Bri'Zan. Alex, the associate that helped us was extremely friendly, helpful, professional, not pushy at all and offered great suggestions, critique and ideas. All associates there were also very friendly. Would highly recommend giving them a try!

Tina A I had an amazing experience with this bridal salon! My consultant was Mia and she was nothing short of amazing. She made sure to pick out every dress she could for me to try on until I found the right one. She was very sweet and extremely accommodating. My wedding is in October and I found my dream dress in June. I was a bit worried considering my wedding was 4 months away, however Mia reassured me that, with a rush fee of course, my dream dress would be ready in time and with plenty of time for alterations to take place. I am extremely happy with this service and would recommend any bride to come and check this place out! Can’t wait to see how my wedding dress turns out!

Wow, this place is amazing!! They have a HUGE selection of beautiful dresses. I came here for my wedding dress and Alex helped me out. She was absolutely wonderful!! I told her my wedding is 4 months away and she didn’t miss a beat! She was very accommodating and I really felt like she would do everything in her power and go that extra mile to make sure I got my dream dress by my wedding day. She was so helpful and selected amazing dresses for me based on what I told her. Despite my short timeline, she assured me they could make the little custom alterations I wanted to make sure the dress was perfect. She was so helpful about giving suggestions on how I could make little subtle alterations to make it exactly what I wanted, which I assumed wouldn’t be possible with the wedding only 4 months away. They will take great care of you at this salon and make sure you get everything you want! I highly recommend any bride check this place out, you will NOT be disappointed!!

I purchased my dress from Bri’Zan Couture in the beginning of March for my June 11 wedding. I was told that it would be no problem to order a brand new dress (in leu of off the rack), which I paid a large fee to have rushed mind you, with there still being more than enough time to complete alterations. I arrived today for my final fitting, on time at 5pm, only to be told after waiting for 30 minutes that the seamstress was behind from her first appointment of the day (which was at 11am) and they wouldn’t be able to take me until 7pm….2 HOURS after my original appointment time. This might not sound like much, but almost the exact same situation happened with my first fitting appointment, when they made up the same story about being behind, turns out the seamstress wasn’t even at the shop that day and strolled into the business an hour after my start time, not running behind, just not there. Since I sensed a pattern of deceit, naturally I became upset and asked to speak to a manager or the owner, and was told that they don’t come in to the shop and they weren’t at liberty to give out their phone numbers, when I asked for their email, I was presented with a generic email for the store with a name to address it to. After a quick social media search, I discovered that in fact I was lied to AGAIN, and was given a false name for the owner! At this point, I just wanted to leave with my dress and have any final tweaks done elsewhere since I was’t able to wait the additional hour half, and honestly, didn’t trust a word they were saying anymore and no longer felt comfortable doing business with them. 30 minutes later, the girl (still NOT the owner or manager) came up with my dress concealed in a garment bag and told me I would need to sign a waiver to take it. Excuse me…I own this dress outright, what do I need to sign anything for?? I demanded a print out of said waiver before I signed anything, and was given the run around that she couldn’t print it. They could in fact print it after I insisted multiple times I would not be signing anything without reading it on paper because you couldn’t see what was actually on it on their little electronic pad. Well…..they were trying to be sneaky and get me sign something that said I was taking the dress after examining it and was happy and they wouldn’t be held responsible for any damages! She was trying to tell me that she couldn’t print it out so I could not read exactly what I was signing. Once I saw this, I walked over to my dress, unzipped it and pulled it out……NOTHING had been done, the hem was still cut from scissors, the lace is peeling off there’s no bustle, and its STAINED!!!! They weren’t running behind from a bridal appointment, they were in fact, trying to start all of my alterations at the time of my appointment!!!! Wait…it gets better……guess who decides to show up now….the OWNER who “never comes in”, who was actually in back the entire time, and her only offer to rectify the situation was to complete the alterations, ha YEA RIGHT!!!! Very very long story short, spend your money elsewhere where they value their customers instead of lying through their teeth, have ZERO accountability and leave you hanging with a very expensive dress all cut up a week before your wedding.

Mia at Bri'Zan was wonderful to work with. I was shopping for a Mother of the Bride dress and she was able to help me narrow down styles that looked good. Mia stayed with is the entire time, she was attentive and knowledgeable of current styles. I recommend anyone who is shopping for a wedding, bridesmaids, or mothers dresses to stop here. First class quality and service!!!

I went to a couple of places for a mother of the bride dress and was really disappointed in selection and service, so I made an appointment with Bri’zan to see what they might have. I went into it with low expectations based on what I saw/experienced at 2 other places. So glad I went to Bri’zan!! Kennedy helped me from the moment I walked in. She was really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The very first dress she picked for me ended up being my dress! Thanks Kennedy!! I highly recommend Bri’zan and Kennedy!

Alice was my consultant and she was every bit of amazing. She was incredibly professional, patient and understood my budget. She was determined to find me a dress and she did just that. I am so thankful to have been able to connect with someone like her and the establishment was amazing. I highly recommend this boutique and Alice’s services to anyone. You will NOT be disappointed.

Initially I was so pleased with my experience at Bri'Zan Couture. When shopping for my wedding gown, the staff was super helpful in finding the perfect dress and were very friendly. The dress was gorgeous! Alterations were a different story. My first fitting was 3 months prior to the wedding. The seamstress was not friendly at all, and at one point stabbed me with one of the pins. I told her that the pin was cutting into me, so she adjusted it. Shortly after she adjusted it, the pin fell off, so I mentioned this to her. She told me "yeah, yeah I know i've got it." She didn't fix the pin, but I figured she knew what she was doing. For my next fitting three weeks before the wedding, there were SEVERAL issues, including the area where the pin had fallen out (which was loose). The bottom of the dress was also uneven (how that happened still baffles me) and there were dirt marks on the dress. The bustle was also HIDEOUS and had these obnoxious hooks on the satin part of the dress. Total eye sore. All of this would have been fine, if it had been corrected by the next fitting. I went back the following week, and the dress was now too short on one side (still uneven). They said they needed several hours to fix this. At this point I was pretty annoyed considering I live in the city and was driving to Naperville each time to get this done. My mom also was coming in from Madison WI for each alteration. Eventually everything got fixed, but the staff was not apologetic considering all of the inconvenience and stress this was causing me. Finally, the pricing of alterations was increased by quite a bit from what they had originally told me when buying the dress. They added an extra $200 to the original price and didn't explain what it was for. They told me they had emailed me about a price increase. I never received any emails from them. After telling them I was upset about the price increase considering all of the hassle I had been through, they did knock off the extra $200, but honestly they should have taken off even more considering that that extra $200 was nonsense anyways. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else.

Kennedy then reassured me that we would find the right dress, and we did. She read the info that I submitted when I scheduled, so she was prepared. She explained that dresses look completely different on than they do hanging and encouraged me to try dresses I would not have chosen. The dress I selected off the rack and initially loved was trounced by a dress Kennedy picked for me. The fabric and details suit my beach wedding and my body type perfectly. Kennedy was fantastic with my family and made me feel super comfortable. Kennedy was knowledgeable, personable, down to earth, funny, and honest. All very important qualities when assisting with wedding dress selection! She and Bri’zan were great and I would definitely recommend this bridal salon to anyone.

I made an appointment to look for a Mother of the Bride dress. My first time looking and I was nervous I wouldn’t find anything I liked. Quite the contrary! It took about 6 dresses before I didn’t like one! Anna was the gal who helped me and she was great. Honest and helpful ! I highly recommend the selection and the friendly low pressure atmosphere.

I just went wedding dress shopping here on Saturday and I had a great experience! I was a little worried going into it because my wedding is in 5 months so I'm working on a shorter time frame than most brides. My consultant, Alice, was super helpful! She was very respectful of the budget I gave her and didn't even have me try on any dresses that were above budget, which I really appreciated. She was very methodical in her approach and helped me narrow down the silhouette and color that I wanted, and then find my dream dress in that style. She was kind, supportive, energetic, and very gracefully deflected any pressure from family & friends to buy a certain dress or a certain silhouette. I had a great experience here! The one word of caution I would give is that there's a rush fee of $375 if you buy your wedding dress within 6 months of your wedding date. I understand why this is necessary but I wanted to share this so that other brides reading this review can plan for this in their budget, if necessary! :)

Lovely boutique with exceptional service… I went there for Mother of the Groom dress…The selection and quality of dresses was incredible… They were so knowledgeable, friendly and attentive… Anna B and Kennedy made me feel so comfortable and I was treated like Royalty… I felt they were very honest and just didn’t tell me what I wanted to hear… I never felt rushed by them either… I purchased my dress and I’m excited for the next phase…I would highly recommend this boutique hands down…

Bri'Zan makes wedding dress dreams come true! This was our second time being a customer and once again, the dress made my daughter feel beautiful.  The staff there has a knack of listening to what you are saying and reading what you are thinking to find the perfect match! When you've narrowed it down to the last one, the reveal is truly magical. We added straps to give the gown a more customized feel and they found the perfect veil to compliment her gown. Alterations were impeccable! Thank you Bri'Zan for giving my daughter exactly what she didn't know she was looking for! She was beaming on her wedding day.

I finally entered Bri'Zan's giveaway(after I kept 4gtn) & 2 days later Bri'Zan Couture called me & told me that my name got pulled. YESTERDAY I WALKED OUT W/MY FAIRYTALE WEDDING DRESS.. 100% free!! Ms. Sue, you & ur staff are truly AMAZING & the blessings that u are placing in our lives right now @ this horrible time, speaks VOLUMES about u heart. I wasn't going to say anything, but the world needs to know that there are ANGELS down here amongst/us. I am beyond honored to be recognized for doing nothing, but simply providing for my family when I am needed the most. THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!

The best experience ever! This was my first appointment to look at dresses and I didn’t feel any pressure to buy a dress but Mary Ann helped me find my PERFECT dress! She made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in and a weight was lifted walking out knowing I found my dress!

Bri'zan is the place to go to get your dress! They were incredibly helpful during my fitting and really listened to what I was looking for. Every appointment was easy and comfortable (especially during COVID which is not easy). They altered me a few times to make sure I was comfortable in my dress and everything was on time. I would recommend them in a heart beat. Thank you for helping me look gorgeous and finding my dream dress!

I found my dress in only an hour and a half and it brought me to tears!! Everyone there makes you feel beautiful, and they have a tonnnn of dresses for you to choose from. Highly highly recommend!

I had my first Bridal dress shopping appointment yesterday and I found the dress of my dreams! It is absolutely beautiful and has everything that I was looking for. They have a great range of selections and the prices are very affordable. Everyone there was also very nice, helpful and understanding of what I was looking for.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and I did find my dress here. However, as I was moments away from purchasing their lack of transparency of an extra $250 fee for a plus-size dress took me by surprise. No surprise after I walked out to make a phone call they were magically able to waive the fee. Thanks, but no. Also, you aren't allowed to take photos of yourself in dresses. First salon where this was an issue?

Was referred to Bri’Zan and thought nothing of it, another day to keep looking till I found THE dress! And let me tell you boy was I wrong! Sue was the sweetest, most helpful person any bride needs through this process! To listen to exactly what your looking for as well as throwing her own spin on it and guess what, that little spin is what I bought!! Thank you thank you thank you to all you girls! So very helpful and reassuring I made the right choice! Will absolutely recommend any new bride to Bri’Zan !!
