We had a fantastic experience with Brookhaven Country Club! The staff was wonderful to work with and the room was absolutely beautiful. The food and service was outstanding. Breianna and Brit were always available to go through every detail with us and flawlessly coordinated and executed our wedding reception. I would highly recommend Brookhaven Country Club for a wedding reception or special event.

We booked Brookhaven 18 months before the wedding. My parents and I were nervous because two of the people we worked with initially left by the time our wedding came around. However, Brittany and Katie did an amazing job making my wedding day incredibly special. Everything was taken care of, and I'm so happy we chose Brookhaven as the reception venue!

I loved the location and setting. We used the Fireside room for the ceremony and the Garden Terrace room for the reception. With a small guest list, this was intimate, but allowed enough room for everything and the use of the portico was fantastic. Food choices were plentiful and they offered us a tasting to make our selections. Delicious quesadillas and other finger foods. Our coordinators were helpful and offered great ideas. I'm glad they were there to help with the day of activities and to calm me down in the weeks leading up to the wedding. The only trip up was the bar. We were charged by the bottle for wine and beer consumed and we were charged more than I think was possible for my small group to consume. The staff would remove glasses while people were dancing or outside - even when the glass was nearly full. That caused people to go back and get more. Maybe it's their MO or they needed the glasses for the other party onsite. Either way, it almost doubled what we had expected to spend on the bar tab.

We had our wedding at this venue in March 2014. They were very easy to work with and very responsive to our needs. It was a beautiful wedding ceremony and reception and the price was great. Food was very good. We were also able to use the grounds for a bridal photo shoot the weekend before with no extra charge, it was great! The only two things that did not live up to my expectations were that the event coordinator changed jobs after we booked and before the wedding, so we had to start over it seemed from scratch and I had to watch the charges every time anything was changed as random extra's would be added in (taxes on things that were not taxed originally and sudden charges for AV equipment that randomly showed up a week before the wedding). All was taken care of and removed after I pointed them out, but I had to be on my toes about watching the bill. The other thing was we did a ticket system for alcohol and I was told that we would be reimbursed for any non used tickets. This ended up not being the case, the person working the event told me that what I had been charged was the final and I was not going to be reimbursed anything. So soft drinks, wine, and mixed drinks all cost a $7.00 ticket and we ended up with a 12 pack of $7.00 a can Pepsi after the wedding in order to use the tickets. All in all, I would recommend this venue, but just make sure to be watchful of the bill and things promised before the day of.

I was so excited when I first booked Brookhaven as my wedding venue, Katy was awesome and everything was working out perfectly! I even asked for a special menu and the chef made it wonderfully. Unfortunately, about 3 weeks prior to our wedding Katy left Brookhaven and a new event coordinator came on. She is very nice and I though everything was going to work out perfectly but I was sadly mistaken. Somewhere along the way they decided to use the assistant chef (who we had never tasted the meal with) to cook at the wedding and it was a disaster! It didn't taste or even look like anything we had asked for. They did not even tell me in the change of chef because I would have picked a different(one they usually prepare) meal. In return they offered 1 free hour of the bar on them but many of my guests were still being charged for drinks! Even though aside from the free hour we had an open bar. So disappointing and now we are even having trouble scheduling a meeting to discuss the food issue.

We loved Brookhaven! They could accomodate all 400 of our guests comfortably and were great with all of our requirements for the reception!

Brookhaven was a wonderful location for reception! We arranged everything ahead of time and they did a great job. We got to bring our center piece decorations the day before and they had everything done perfectly.It was a beautiful set up and the food was wonderful! They even brought a plate of food over to the head table for my husband and I which was great because we wouldn't have gotten to eat otherwise. Only two minor setback that day: we were told that we could play a picture slide show and all we had to do was bring the slideshow and they had screens and projectors to display it, but they failed to mention we had to provide our own computer to connect it. But our coordinator was great and got her own computer out and let us use it. They also told us they would provide the service utensils for the cake cutting, but they weren't out when we were ready so we had to wait by our cakes for a few minutes while someone went to find them. But overall it was great and I would highly recommend Brookhaven Country Club.

Everything turned out more perfect than I could imagine. The coordinator was a big help and very patient with me. She did an amazing job and helped make my day perfect! The whole staff was wonderful and very pleasant to all my guests. Everyone was impressed with the catering and venue, the location and setup were beyond perfect and anything I could have dreamed of. Greatly appreciated! Thanks again to everyone at Brookhaven Country Club for their professionalism, expertise for making our day memorable and magical!

We loved Brookhaven. They've recently done a lot of updates to their building like fresh carpet, paint, a new gate outside, so everything really looked great! The food was delicious-we did two action stations and heavy appetizers all forming a buffet. The house wine was great. The negatives were that the girl we worked with was very unorganized and didn't follow through on all of what we agreed upon. So they're weren't enough plates at all times, there weren't serves like she'd promised, and other details like that. Fortunately, as the bride, I wasn't even aware of all of this, and I thought everything was perfect and magical. So, I can recommend Brookhaven, but be careful with who you chose to work with there. Also, we got a great value and they really worked with us well financially.
