For food and service we give 5 stars. We loved our food tasting as well as the food on the wedding day itself! Even our guests complimented our appetizers and meals! It was delicious!! The only reason we docked a star and gave 4 is because they did not honor our original contract. We were supposed to get married in May 2020 however our wedding was postponed twice due to covid (read 3 different wedding dates). We created our contract in 2019. 3 weeks before the wedding I called the catering service to ensure everything was good to go. Instead one of the co-owners looked over the contract and started, for a lack of a better word, panicking, over the prices we got in our contract. Contract was made in 2019 and of course with inflation and what not things became more expensive by the time our actual wedding rolled around (April 2022). This is not something a bride wants to hear 3 weeks before the wedding of "we may not be able to honor this contract." To their defense, they did say they would not leave us "high and dry" and that they would work a new contract out with us. We understand that the pandemic hit different businesses harder than others and not everyone was as fortunate to keep their jobs, etc. So we were willing to work with re-pricing the contract. While we were not a fan of how we found out about the change in contract prices, we do appreciate how they compromised with us for the price change. (Of the10 vendors we worked with, this was the only vendor who did not honor their contract. Also to point out, our main point of contact person we communicated with had left the company within the year of the 4/2022 wedding. While at some point after we notified our point of contact person about our 2nd postponement, she had left the company, so the Brothers catering, nor us, did not realize that the last communication we had with each other was 2/2021. Otherwise we would hope this issue would have been brought up sooner than the 3 weeks prior to our wedding.) In the future, there should be an automatic response for any emails associated with the company that is no longer being used should state "After __ # of years working at this company, I have since left the company but please email ____ instead" could have also prevented this miscommunication. Long story short, in the end we did enjoy working with this company and loved our food. We just wish there was more communication about the difference in pricing for the contract earlier than when we found out.

Oh my what can I say?! The food from Brothers was PHENOMENAL. From the tasting (sooo good!) When we finally had our wedding the food was delicious. We didn’t want the traditional entree dinner service, we wanted an Italian buffet and Brothers truly delivered. The cocktail hour appetizers were delectable and the bolognese lasagna was to die for! I highly recommend Brothers for your wedding catering needs.

Working with Brothers Catering was super easy! The food was delicious and the staff was amazing. Jocylyn made the whole experience great, she was an excellent communicator always made sure we were taken care of. We definitely ordered too much food for our food stations, but better to be safe than sorry.

I had great experiences with all caterers through my initial consultation process, except for this one. I had a call with Steve, and he was so rude. He made me feel poor and basically said my budget was not realistic. What I didn't realize was that he was looking for my budget including the labor and everything that does with it. I thought he was just asking food alone, and I told him my budget was much larger with that included. He said he would send me a proposal and of course he never did. Was the worst experience. I would recommend any other catering company in San Diego.

Hiring Brothers Catering was one of the best decisions we could have ever made. They have so many choices it was a little daunting at first but we were able to narrow it down and during our first tasting they made us a wide selection to help us narrow it down. We did the filet and bruschetta chicken dual entree concept with green beans almondine and smashed potatoes. Wow, just wow. The food is delicious and you can tell the chef is both talented and proud of the work he produces. And then there is Bill Benson, one of Brothers Catering sales managers. He went above and beyond to help us not only with culinary concerns but anything wedding related. We actually used his recommendation for floral and were very happy following his suggestion. His warm and fun personality really took a lot of the stress of wedding planning away. We knew with him helping us we were in good hands. On the big day Brothers arrived on time and were flexible with their kitchen arrangements. They cooked all the entrees fresh on site with their mobile kitchen. Everyone of our guests were giving us compliments on our food choices. Brothers provided us with vegetarian options as well. We choice a quinoa stuffed bell pepper - it was also a huge hit. Their waitstaff was attentive and professional the whole time. We know we will hire Brothers Catering again we just don’t know when!

Brothers Signature Catering was perfect. Absolutely no issues throughout the whole night. They served our guests incredibly fast, they provided constant hot and delicious food, and took care of their own to the point that I NEVER had to ask "I hope the caterers are okay!" They were completely self-sufficient and provided a perfect service, I could ask for nothing better. They were worth every single dollar spent.

Brothers Signature did a fabulous job of set up, of making sure we were well taken care of when someone one their end had to unexpectedly leave the company. The food was just as amazing as their service; well thought out and made with care.

Brothers was our vendor for our brunch wedding on November 5th, and working with them was a wonderful experience. They were professional, organized, and clear. They were incredibly helpful and worked around our budget, our needs, and some allergies. They helped connect us to other vendors. The whole wedding was wonderful. The food was delicious, and the staff were unobtrusive and fantastic. I would hire Michele to organize my life. We also did all of our coordination remotely (we live out of state) and they made it so easy.

The team at Brothers Catering did a fabulous job for our wedding. Food was absolutely excellent, and our coordinators/leads - what have you - Michele & Tony, were absolutely phenomenal in helping me plan every aspect of the day to the last detail. Michele & Tony put up with last minute head count changes, sudden changes to food quantities, etc. and never made me feel like I was being difficult. A few weeks before the wedding they both came out to see the venue and walk me through exactly where everything would go. So helpful. Brothers Signature Catering & Events catered my daughter's wedding and did a FANTASTIC job. The food was the right temperature delicious and they delivered to the venue as promised and came back the following day to pick up their equipment. The gentleman that I worked with, Jimmy, was incredibly helpful in assuring that we had enough food, but not more than we needed and he kept us within our budget. His suggestions were phenomenal and everyone was impressed with the finger food buffet. It was more than enough to feed us all for dinner, even though it was supposedly just finger food. The day was made so much better by using this company.

Couldn't be happier with Brothers Catering...fantastic food, wonderful crew and amazing customer service! My family and I were impressed from our first meeting/tasting. We were able to create the exact menu we had in mind for our wedding. Many of our wedding guests commented on how friendly and efficient the staff was on the big day. Everything went super smoothly. We are so thankful and pleased!

Brothers Signature Catering & Events did a fabulous job at our wedding! The food was delicious and we even received compliments from our guests when we got back from the honeymoon. The truffle mac and cheese was hands down a hit!! My mom froze some leftovers for my husband and me to enjoy when we got back from our trip and we were so thrilled that we got to enjoy the meal a second time! I'll never forget, our menu consisted of butler passed hors d'oeuvres including tomato soup shooters with a mini smoked cheddar panini (so cute!), a delicious goat cheese, candied pecan and dried cranberry salad, pecan crusted chicken, green beans, truffle mac and cheese, and dinner rolls. YUM! My husband and I are actually attending a wedding next week where Brothers Catering will be catering the meal and we are quite excited! We highly recommend!

My wife and I worked with Brothers Signature Catering & Events for our June 23, 2012 wedding and could not have been happier. Not only was the food great (everyone loved it!), but Jimmy and his staff took care of all of the details for the big day. Jimmy made sure that all the vendors were set up on-site and that everything was perfect by the time we arrived along with our guests (our ceremony was off-site). My wife and I have literally 0 complaints about the big day...not even a small one. So many of our guests told us this was the best wedding they have ever been to, and we have Brothers Signature Catering to thank for it. Thanks so much!!!

Brothers catered our wedding & reception and everything was AMAZING! We worked with Jimmy and Michele to plan our meal and right from the tasting, they made us feel comfortable and welcome. The provided everything that they had promised and then even some bonuses! Their serving staff was top notch - they worked like a well-oiled machine, setting up, serving, cleaning up and packing up leftovers for us to bring home. ... The food - WOW! The food was fantastic. We got SO many compliments on the food. My oldest brother was so impressed with the tri-tip steak, he asked the staff if they ran a restaurant he could go to so he couldgo to! (Sadly, no restaurant - only amazing catering and cafe). And considering all that we got, the meal was very reasonably priced. We couldn't be more thrilled with the way our wedding & reception turned out. Thank you so much to Jimmy and his staff for the excellent service and high quality dining. It was a pleasure working with you and everything went off without a hitch!

Staff was amazing and accommodated my every need. They made me feel as though I was the only bride in the world! I would Highly recommend Brothers for any and every event.

Brothers did our wedding and it was just an amazing experience from beginning to end. Like any bride we do trials because we want the best for our special day! It may be a bit of a pain to pay for the trials but you see the difference when you have that moment of this is what I want!!! My fiance and I went to 2 food trials....Brothers and the other place was such a night and day experience! Hands down Brothers was the way to go. Jazmin helped us and was so pleasant to work with....Chef O too!! The whole time it was about me and my fiance and felt so special. We never once did we feel pressured or like another invoice for them. Throughout the whole time she helped plan not only with food, but rentals, and gave great advice. Even my venue was like who is Brothers Catering?! They were so professional and on top of everything. My guest enjoyed all the courses...we went with a Southwest Menu. The mango salsa was so yummy and just everything was made with such quality. I can't tell you how I came to them for my wedding after reading all the reviews for corprate events but I'm glad I went out on a limb just to see what they offer and so happy to hear that they have moved from downtown to Mira Mesa to branch out to do other events as well. Brothers is at the top of my list for any other event that comes up in life big or small!!! Side tip....remember, you pay for what you get. There may be some other caterers that you pay less for but you can literally taste the difference!

As we reside in Oregon, our wedding in San Diego was a destination wedding. We enlisted Brothers' as our caterer and relied on their suggested venue, linen, china, AV equipment, and bar suppliers. Upon making our choice of vendors, Jazmin, of Brothers, for 6 months became our voice in relaying our needs and wants to the vendors & securing the rentals. This meant we had to trust all was going as promised. We once travelled to SD to review our venue choice, order our wedding cake and sample the Mediterranean hors d'ovure/ dinner selection (absolutely delicious!). But from there on out, we relied on Jazmin. We felt absolutely confident Jazmin was invested & genuinely cared that our wedding was all we had hoped for. As the date approached, we contacted Jazmin repeatedly for assurance that all was going well. She patiently responded to our repeated questions, as if we were her sole client. Jazmin personally attended to our wedding on the wedding day. The wedding venue, decorations, and food was all set up and torn down by Jazmin's team. All was as promised. We cannot thank Jazmin and Brothers Catering enough for the making our day gloriously PERFECT!

First of all, let me say that I am the cheapest person I know, but I still expect the best, so I looked for months for a catering company that could give us a good price but also have amazing food. After contacting almost every catering company in the greater San Diego area and getting the most ridiculous prices I'd ever heard of (most companies couldn't even give me a quote because they said they don't do any events for less than $50 per person... SERIOUSLY??). So after getting a quote that was actually within my tiny budget, I decided to have them cater my wedding and they were a pleasure to work with from day one. Jazmin was so accommodating and helpful, responding to all of my 3,000 emails within hours. Every one of my guests RAVED about the food and the service of all the people they brought in on the day of just went above and beyond. They brought in their own table decorations to fit the style & decor of my wedding and it was a beautiful spread. I cannot say enough good things about this company, and I can promise that you will NOT be sorry you hired Brothers catering. Thank you so much for an amazing time!!

Jazmin at Brothers Signature Catering helped me out with choosing a menu and then making changes. There were options at different price points, which was helpful. Everyone at the wedding had great things to say about the food. Many went for seconds. I am enjoying the left overs and will probably go home and eat some shortly. I can't say enough positive things about the food, the beautiful set up, and how kind and helpful staff was. Yum!!!!!!
