Bumble Bee Occasions stole our money. I did not want to write this review. I gave the owner, Sharon, two months since my wedding to make things right but she has avoided addressing my concerns. My husband and I hired them to do our floral, our catering, and our event planning/management for our wedding. We paid nearly $18K to them. Throughout our planning process, she was MIA. Our contract stated she would check-in monthly at minimum (which didn’t happen). The week of my wedding, she gave me zero check-ins/updates on how things were coming along. Mind you—I ended up doing 98% of the planning all myself. I reached out to all my vendors myself to schedule meetings. This was in our contract stated that she would handle. Which didn’t happen. The actual day of the wedding—she was so scattered. I didn’t hear from her until late afternoon. I get to our venue and she is no where to be found. While we waited for the ceremony to start—my maid of honor noticed that our table settings were not done. My bridesmaids ended up RUNNING around to set all this up 15 minutes before our ceremony. There was no burden lifted off of me and my family on this day which is why I hired BBO in the first place. Now on to floral. I told Sharon on our very first phone call how important this was to me. We had a whole meeting about what I envisioned. My bouquet was literally falling apart. My MOH’s bouquet was dead. The corsages that my family wore also had brown edges all around it. Clearly these florals were not fresh or preserved properly which was SO disappointing. Our pergola floral was supposed to be repurposed throughout our reception. It was not in all the places we discussed. Our memorial table had nothing on it. Our sweetheart backdrop also had NO floral on it. We had 3 family tables that had empty vases because BBO forgot to repurpose the bouquets that were meant to be in those vases. This was a huge disappointment to me. Last but not least—catering. Sharon’s husband Jerry is the main chef. We had a tasting with him which we were very impressed by. But, we had several guests tell us that their food was served cold. We were supposed to be served salads with cranberries, feta cheese, and raspberry vinaigrette. Instead we were served plain lettuce with some kind of dressing. We also paid EXTRA for our guests to have sweet/unsweetened tea served. Legit spent hundreds of extra dollars to have this “upgraded option” and we did not even get what we paid for! We also paid for a dessert bar which had missing items. Not only that but our cutting cake wasn’t the flavor we picked out. Believe it or not, this isn’t even all the issues we had with BBO and Sharon. I am appalled at how little regard she has given to our concerns. We reached out to her several times to get a response and she has avoided me at all costs. She has given me excuse after excuse. “I’ve been busy with our current brides/grooms.” “I will get back to you by Sunday at the latest.” We were put on the back burner SO many times throughout our time working with her. I gave her a lot of time and grace with this but I’ve had enough. If she tries to respond saying she tried to talk to me about any of this, just know she is lying. I am not the type of person to go out of my way to write someone a bad review. I am just genuinely wanting other brides to have a better understanding of what you might have to deal with if you hire BBO. Our wedding day would have been perfect otherwise.

I am the mother of the bride and last night our dream wedding for our daughter came to fruition!! It was wonderful! Sharon and Nancy were so fun and helpful making sure all our questions were answered and nothing was too small of a detail to question. From our first meeting to the long conversations in their offices which included power points and computer footage of all our requests. Sometimes these meetings would go on for hours and yet both Nancy and Sharon never made us feel rushed. Bumble bee did the whole wedding from table decor to floral to the food and cake and it was all exquisite! Calming and efficient is how I’d describe this dream team. They also worked so well with our coordinator from the venue we had reserved. The bouquets that Nancy made for my South African daughter was breathtaking! King protea our favorite south African flowers, they used these after telling them how important it was to include her heritage! Highly recommend this company our guests raved about the food and decor!

I can't believe I ever asked myself, "Do I really need a wedding coordinator?" The answer was YES, I did. And YES, you do too. The team at BBO was absolutely amazing to work with. I hired them to handle not only my month-of coordination, but also my floral design, table decor and DJ. My wedding was gorgeous and everything went over perfectly, without a hitch. On the front end of the planning phase, Sharon and Kourtney were a joy to work with. They spent hours with me going over every second of the day, getting to know me and my vision for what our wedding would look like. Sharon is extremely knowledgable and was happy to answer any of my questions about proper wedding etiquette, but also encouraged me to do things the way *I* wanted. I left my consultation feeling 100 pounds lighter, because I knew BBO had me covered. Once the day arrived, we were assigned Nancy as our day-of coordinator. My entire family agrees that Nancy was a gift sent straight to us from Heaven. When I say I did not worry about a SINGLE detail on my wedding day, I mean it and I have Nancy to thank for that. She executed the day perfectly, and solved small issues before they could ever become big issues. She gave me space to enjoy getting ready and mingle with my guests, but was always at my side in an instant if I needed anything at all. I cannot sing enough high praises about Bumble Bee Occasions. I booked them at the recommendation of a dear friend and bridesmaid, and it's the best decision I could have made. If you're like me and thinking you could maybe pull off your wedding without any help, please save yourself the headache. Hire BBO. You will be so glad you did.

Where do I even start! Bumble Bee did an amazing job for our wedding! We booked for catering, linens, and day-of coordination. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed it very much! The table set ups were beautiful and exactly how i envisioned. And the coordination was so much more than I expected. Nancy was a rock star! She took care of so much more than I ever expected! Every minor mishap was handled before I even knew it was a problem! She fixed set up details for the ceremony when I couldn't be out there. Everything for the reception was handled without me having to lift a finger. When I realized we didn't have anyone to cut the cake for guests, she handled it herself. I am so grateful for all she did for me to make it a perfect day and I seriously cannot thank her enough!

Bumble Bee did a Great job with everything ( we booked for food, rentals, floral and planner) They set everything up and at the end of the night took it all down. Food tasted amazing and they did great passing everything out. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I had to keep asking them to send vendors the timeline even though they said a week before they would do it that day and also I had to hear from the venue they didn't send over the floor plan even though they said that would also get sent over that day and then they still ended up sending the wrong one so the venue and I had to fix it the morning of the wedding.

Bumble Bee provided day of coordination, floral, and a few rentals for our wedding. Megan went above and beyond making our day effortless. She was efficient and quick to correct any issues that may have occurred. I knew with Megan our day would be easy from the start because she is calm cool and collected and always 3 steps ahead. You can tell she loves her job!! To Megan and the team at Bumble Bee- an enormous thank you for making our day perfect!

Bumblebee MADE my wedding! They had great ideas all through the planning process, had an excellent inventory of decor, HAD AMAZING FLORAL, were very professional, and well priced. Sharon was the day-of coordinator but Megan would have been great as well. I am super happy with everything they did and highly recommend them and their services for all who live in the area!

Megan at Bumble Bee helped sooo much with her day of coordination services. We had a few bumps in the road, but she helped mitigate all the craziness on our special day! We also did cake and cheesecake with Bumble Bee and it tasted amazing!! The floral was the exact flowers and colors I expected, but they weren’t as big as I imagined. The catering was good, but the chicken was a little dry and carrots were undercooked. Overall I would definitely go with Bumble Bee Occasions for a 1 stop shop.

The amount of compliments about the food was too many to count! Highly recommend for catering! But I am a little disappointed with the photography services. Although they are affordable, I have yet to hear back from the photographer after many texts and have waited over the 10 weeks I was told to wait for my photos of my wedding. But other than that food was absolutely delicious, the cake was outrageously amazing(get the coconut one trust me) and although the groom's cake did melt because of the food coloring and fondant he still loved it.

We absolutely could not have pulled off our wedding day without them. They helped us from the very beginning to the very end. We absolutely love Sharon and she made sure our day went off without a hitch. The food was amazing. The flowers were beautiful. Our guest nor us had to worry about a thing but eat, dance, and enjoy!

We hired them to cater our wedding in November of 2016. We had several issues with them and the food/utensils at the reception. Instead of admitting the blame, they threw their wedding planner under the bus and blamed everything on her. Very unprofessional. I sent them a picture of the wedding cake I wanted (per their request) several weeks in advance. Well my mother and sister in law ended up having to decorate the cake day of, with my flowers, and the Baker had to be asked to stay and help (She only planned on delivering a plain white cake apparently). The cake baker said she didn't have a picture of the way I wanted it decorated, so they all guessed (I was getting ready at the time, and was disappointed when I saw the cake at the reception). We had ordered bbq brisket and sausage from their catering menu along with honey pecan glazed chicken. We had the chicken, and sausage at our tasting, along with 3 slices of brisket. Come the reception, our guests were served 1 slice of brisket, and NO sausage. (They claim the sausage was never in the contract, they had just made some the day of our tasting so they included it on our plate. SERIOUSLY?!?!). I have a screenshot of their menu on their website. Right there in plain english: BBQ brisket and sausage with the side items. My parents were completely embarrassed about the small amount of meat served to our guests. Bumble Bees excuse? The guests forgot what they rsvp'd for so bbo decided to cut back on meat when serving. Flat out lie. The bride and grooms plates were already at our seats before any of the guests even got in line, and we had only 1 slice of brisket too. The owners told us at our tasting they never run out of food, and always have plenty extra. We had 2 tiny pieces of brisket left and 5 small breasts of chicken....we also had 12 no show guests! I guess 5 of them weren't going to be able eat had they showed. BBO is not willing to refund any money towards lack of the food, so I'm making sure they get the proper recognition. 😊 I HIGHLY recommend NOT using this company for such an important day as a wedding.

We used BumbleBee Occasions for our wedding cake, food, bartending, invitations, flowers and day of coordination. They truly did a fantastic job and made everything come together perfectly for our wedding day! The flowers were absolutely beautiful, my wedding cake was exactly what I wanted and the food was delicious! The strawberry cake was AMAZING and they have even won a big award for it :) Everyone was so pleasant to work with and with the business being family-owned and on the small side, they really paid attention to detail and truly cared about making our day exactly what we wanted. Sharon was my day of coordinator and she did an amazing job! Nothing went wrong from what I could see and it was the wedding of my dreams! I would HIGHLY recommend Bumblebee, they are a one-stop shop that can take care of everything for you!

Not as helpful as I would have hoped. I will say that the food was very delicious, and it was easy/convenient to be able to get all of our dishes and linens from them as well! I was VERY pleased with the catering aspect of this company. However, the DAY-OF coordinator did not work out as well as we had hoped. My mom and I had very specific things in mind for how the wedding flowed (We used 4 different locations at the same venue throughout the entire evening). Missy was kind and very generous, we just were disappointed in the lack of communication. After having to fix things myself, such as where the wedding party should enter the reception or having to fix the cake topper myself, or having to turn on decorative lights myself, ALL on the fly while the wedding is going on, I could have used more of the coordinator's help. I would recommend meeting with the coordinator the WEEK OF the wedding and going over every detail. Also, we had a hard time getting in contact with this company the week of the wedding, making it hard to go over last minute details, that definitely came up on our big day.

Bumble Bee coordinated my wedding, from the floral, to décor, wedding cake, and more! I worked with Cathy, and Jessica throughout the months before the wedding to make sure all the details were taken care of. If I needed ANYTHING they were there! They designed our ceremony area, the dinner area, and the reception area... I could not have been more pleased, it was BEAUTIFUL! They arranged everything so well. I had so many people tell me how gorgeous it was, and I couldn't have agreed more. So thank you Bumble Bee Occasions and staff for making our evening so wonderful!!!

We used Bumble Bee for catering, flowers, cake, set-up/clean-up, service and coordinating. Overall we had a very good experience with Bumblebee. They made the planning process very easy. We were able to do a tasting for the food and cake to choose our favorites. The food turned out wonderful we heard no complaints from our guests. The cakes were amazing. They were decorated just as I has envisioned and tasted great! I was a little bummed about the flowers. Although they turned out beautiful I wish I would have done a mock-up prior to the day of to see how the ones I chose in the flower whole sale would work together. I had decided to do my bridal portraits after the wedding to be more relaxed and not worry about getting my dress dirty so I did not see my bouquet until the day off. It was not exactly what I wanted. All and all it was a beautiful day and we could not have done it without Bumble Bee. Sharon made the whole event run smoothly. We had a great time and everyone said it was beautiful.

The flowers were perfect, excatly what we invisioned and some even better than we had hoped. I do recommend brides get their bridal portraits done, it is a great trial run on the mock bouquet, and with everything else, as far as getting wedding day ready! Good luck! <3

Missy and her crew from Bumble Bee Occasions did an outstanding job for my daughters wedding. We hired Missy as a "day of" planner and for our flowers but she did so much more. The flowers were absolutely beautiful both at the church and at the reception. Missy took our decorations and our vision...and made it all happen down to every last candle being lit. She ran the rehearsal and the ceremony. When my shoes were killing me at the reception...she even delivered my flip flops! I cannot begin to tell you how thankful I am for this company and for Missy...it was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Because of Missy and her crew, I was able to spend a relaxing wedding day with my daughter. Thank you guys for giving us a beautiful and blessed day! .....the mom of the bride

Sharon & Missy were great to work with and made decorating my venue a breeze. I brought them inspirations pictures from the web and they brought my ideas to life. The centerpieces were beautiful and everything was packaged so all that I had to do was remove from the box and place on the table! We got our sashes, centerpieces, cake table decor and table runners from them and I would book them again in a heartbeat! Thanks Bumble Bee!

Missy and her crew at Bumble Bee Occasions helped make our special day beautiful and stress-free. Her floral arrangements and bridal bouquets were gorgeous. Extra effort was made to capture the bride's vision of her natural table decorations.The food was yummy- especially the mac and cheese bar, and the special s'mores area was a favorite. Many people commented that the cakes were really outstanding, moist and flavorful. We really felt confident using them for the majority of our wedding needs. We would definitely recommend their services.

I am the bride's mother and we chose Bumble Bee Occasions for our caterer, coordinator, decorator, etc. because when we met with Missy it was obvious she knew exactly what she was doing. She helped us every step of the way. She gave us suggestions, helped us figure out what we wanted/needed, made sure she let us know everything we needed to do, etc. She was always more than willing to answer any questions we had, and we had a lot!! The flowers, decor, food, etc, was amazing! We couldn't have asked for anything better! I would HIGHLY recommend using Bumble Bee for any occasion. Everything was perfect for my daughter's wedding and a lot of the credit goes to Missy and her staff!! OUTSTANDING!!! They also gave us a name for a DJ which we used and he was amazing! They meet you at the flower warehouse to pick out your flowers, they meet you at the wedding site for a walk-thru as well as, of course, the day of the rehearsal. I can honestly say Bumble Bee Occasions goes out of their way to make sure the wedding they are preparing for is exactly how you want it and that it goes off flawlessly! Kuddos to Missy and all of her staff!! We couldn't have made it without them!! My daughter's wedding went off flawlessly and it was all due to Missy and her dedicated staff!! They truely love what they do.

They are very reasonable, the reason the cost is high is because they do EVERYTHING!!! They did my cake, catered, flowers, and decorated! The cake was so cute and they have several flavors to pick from. The food was delicious. We did beef and chicken fajitas but they have like 14 menus to pick from! The did ALL my decorating-- tulle and pieces on gazebo, centerpieces, tablecloths, chair covers and sashes--everything! The flowers were gorgeous and I got to personally go to the flower wholesale and pick them out! This is the best wedding service out there. My wedding was at 7:30. They got there at like 4 and were completely set up by 5 or 5:30. There is a team of them and they were awesome. I completely enjoyed my wedding! It was totally stress free! Even my mom enjoyed herself! She would give them ten stars! And my mom does not just give stars away!

Couldn't have gone smoother. The whole process was so enjoyable and as stress-free as it possibly could be with Bumblebee Occasions! They listened and delivered just what we envisioned. The food was unreal, flowers were beautiful, and the overall decor was just perfect. They were such a joy to work with as well! I cannot recommend them enough; the pricing was beyond reasonable for everything they contributed. It is obvious they love what they do, and they love making their clients feel secure and happy!

Bumble bee occasion overall was a good experience. The food was decent, we had a buffet with lots of different options. To meet with the vendor I had to drive really far which probably could have been avoided by meeting half way or maybe Skype. The value for what we got and what we spent was comparable.

I used them for my Cake, Food and coordination.. and I have to say they were absolutely incredible. People are still commenting on how good the food and cake was and not to mention they cake was sooo gorgeous! they really put everything together the day of and were very accommodating to my ever changing wedding. The day of I wasnt stressed at all and could enjoy everything since they made it happen.
