Okay, so Brooke was absolutely fantastic. When I hired her, my mother and I thought we had gotten most of the planning done. Boy, were we wrong! Brooke came in and made the rest of what planning so easy! She contacted everyone, made plans for the big day and read my mind. When I came to her, all I told her was "I want a true Santa Barbara wedding. Spanish beach theme." She knew EXACTLY what I meant. She made it masculine, feminine, laid back, and formal. It was amazing! I wish I could post pictures here. She blended my caucasian family with my husbands hispanic family, she brought the two cultures together so well. And she was always there when I needed her. I could text at (pretty much) any time of day and she would respond almost immediately. She truly does it all (from flowers to planning) for such a great price! My only complaint (more on my end) is that I didn't hire her in the first place! She knows everyone!!! Hiring her first would have saved me TONS of money. You should definitely give her a call!!

Brooke Heflin is a wonderful person, and an absolutely fantastic wedding resource. Not only does she have a ton of experience in planning, floristry, and design, but she has the disposition of an angel. Brooke (and everyone on her team) is a "can-do" person; when a challenge arises (which they always do), she is quick to jump on finding a solution. It was an absolute joy meeting with Brooke, texting about different decisions regarding flowers, design, timeline, etc., and asking her a TON of questions. Brooke has a wonderful gift for understanding a couple's vision and doing everything she can to make that vision come to life. She is 100% there for you and wants YOUR preferences and dreams to rule the day. Whether you have a clear picture of what you want your day to look like, or you just have one or two ideas, Brooke will help you every step of the way, and will keep you on track with creating timelines, finding vendors, and keeping on budget. She also runs receptions with her team so seamlessly. She is truly an invaluable resource! Budget: Brooke loves budgeting, and prides herself on keeping to whatever budget you might have. She is excellent at meeting you where you are, and she NEVER pressures you or makes you feel guilty for saying no to something. My fiance and I appreciated this SO MUCH. Also, because she has been in the business for years, Brooke has relationships with vendors who will often give her significant discounts and great deals. Not to mention, Brooke has a collection of her own decor and is a talented calligrapher. All of this is available for your use should you work with her. Flowers: Look no further: Book Burlap and Bordeaux for your flowers! You will not regret it. Our flowers were out of this world gorgeous, better than I could have ever imagined. We had a style and general color scheme we were going for, and Brooke helped us to flesh it out and created heavenly arrangements. Our guests came up to us and commented in droves about how stunning the florals were. I HIGHLY urge you to look no further for a florist. Brooke and her team have you covered. Overall, I began wedding planning trying to do it all myself and feeling that we could not afford a planner. Brooke came on the scene once we realized we really needed help, and showed us that you can absolutely have a planner on a modest budget, AND you can also have a stunningly beautiful wedding. Thank you Brooke for everything! We are so grateful!

Brook was pretty much my fairy godmother that made all my wedding dreams come true. I hired her as my wedding planner and florist but she did so much more than that! We started with just an inspiration photo, colors and feel of the kind of wedding I wanted and Brooke did the rest. Like literally did the rest. I found all my other vendors through Brooke’s recommendation and had the whole wedding pretty much planned within the first 6 weeks of meeting Brooke – it was only a 7 month engagement. We communicated mostly through phone calls, texts, and emails but she was totally up for meeting when I needed to and at pretty much any time no matter what day or time inspiration spoke to me I could just send her a quick text. I was definitely not your average bride. I have crazy control issues so I opted not to stress myself out and let Brooke make the bulk of the decisions. She assured me that she would stick with my inspiration picture and the feel I wanted for the wedding and she ended up handling every last detail of the wedding. A lot of it was a complete surprise to my husband and I but it was exactly what I was looking for! The day itself ran super smoothly! I didn’t have to worry about anything! We started on time and I was kept relaxed and happy through the whole thing. At the end of the night my car was packed and just ready for me to drive off. I really seriously recommend Brooke for planning and floral! She was more of a best friend during the whole thing than anything else!
