We are a full-service event design and rental company out of South Bend, IN. We can help fully design your wedding or do as much or as little as you want. Please see our list of services offered below:
Planning and Design: We can design the whole atmosphere of your wedding based on what you want and your vision. We would meet to discuss the feel of your event and what you envision, then we would come up with a full design. We could also recommend venues, caterers, DJs, etc if you still need vendors.
Rentals: We have a full inventory of any items you may need for your wedding. From tents, tables, chairs, china, and linens to restrooms, stage, dance floor, we have all kinds of items to make your event unique to you.
Floral: We can create your centerpieces in floral and non-floral options, boutonnieres, bouquets, and ceremony décor.
Day of Coordinating: We would meet with you the month before the wedding and discuss timelines, handle all vendor communication, and be available on-site the day of the wedding to ease your mind to make sure everything is set up and runs smoothly without you having to worry about it.

As a Wedding Planner in Michiana, Burns Special Events is my go-to for ALL RENTALS! From chairs to china and linens to lounge furniture, they have all you need to create a wedding space your Guests will love! The staff at Burns is incredible! I adore every single one and don't know what I would do without their service. :) They now offer floral design too! Truly a one stop shop for all the pretties! Schedule an appointment, their showroom is beautiful and just being there makes you happy!
we had a horrible experience with burns rental. we wanted to rent dishes and linens for our wedding and just had a hard time from the start. very expensive and every time we wanted to take an item off our order they would try to charge us some fee for something else. just one example is the delivery fee was 150 and we asked to take off the desert spoons and suddenly the delivery fee was 800 dollars. save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.
When we started planning our wedding we instantly knew we wanted to work with Burns. The staff are all so professional and helpful, and we had so much fun designing different table layouts in their showroom when we were choosing things for the wedding. The hardest part was deciding what we wanted because they have so many beautiful things to choose from! They had our rentals delivered and picked up on time and we never had to worry about a thing. I would highly recommend choosing Burns for any wedding or bridal shower needs!
I decided to use Burns for our wedding rentals because they had a good working relationship with our caterer. However, I was very disappointed in my choice. The person we worked with was not personable at all and did not communicate well with us. Two days before my wedding we were informed that if we wanted Saturday delivery (our venue required this), there would be a $500 fee. We spoke with our venue, and they said Friday delivery was fine, but that it needed to be in the morning. Burns was not able to guarantee a morning time slot unless we paid extra. We ended up paying $100 for them to drop off at 9am, per our venue request. However, they did not show up until after 9:30am. We were told that all of these fees were mentioned in the contract, but were never communicated or mentioned to us outside of this, which to me is a way to hide them until the last minute. Two days before my wedding, this was the last thing I wanted to deal with and was extremely frustrating and dissatisfying when the prices we were paying for items were already outrageous. Burns was not polite or professional to me, my family, and especially our venue owner, who they were verbally abusive to over the phone. I will never use Burns again and would NOT recommend them to anyone. The only positive thing I have to say is that they set up the tent correctly and our table linens looked nice, but this alone would not be enough for me to ever go back.
Burns was a pleasure to work with and very professional. They set up and took down everything in a very timely manner and made last-minute adjustments to our list of rental equipment without any trouble. Highly recommended and we would definitely work with them again!

Burns was Fabulous to work with! We had numerous changes to our original quote, and Gina was so responsive and easy to work with through them all! They provided our ceremony chairs, chargers, whiskey barrels, bistro tables (w/ linens), lounge furniture, and more. With their help, our wedding space was turned into something out of a fairytale and we couldn't have been more pleased.
Nice experience with Burns. Loved that we go a whole scrap book full of the pictures our guests took in the booth. And the props were great! Thank you!
They set up early, and had exactly what I ordered. Things were clean, and sturdy.
Burns was a great place to get everything that I needed for my wedding. We rented our tent, chairs, tables, linens, dance floor and port a potties from them. They did the set up on the tent and I was very happy with the speed and efficiecy of that. We had to set up all the tables and chairs and also the dance floor. The only hiccup that we encoutnered was that they gave us a brand new dance floor that we were very excited about, but later in the day brought out a delivery man to swap it out for an older one. They never called to tell us this was happening. We were a little upset about this so they ended up taking money off our bill and also giving us a tent heater for free. Overall, it was worth it to use Burns because they were friendly and the prices were reasonable.
