al party arrived after taking photos we were met with at least 2 staff members who kept giving us water. The staff checked in with us multiple times during the evening and even went out of their way to give kids meals to kids that we hadn't signed up for kids meals. They also were very easy to accommodate food allergies for some of our guests. Corespondance with Coleen and Chelsea with our wedding planner was seamless. They responded quickly and professionally. Butler's Pantry was one of the best decisions that we made for our wedding!

uestion. We had some difficult weather roll in when our ceremony was supposed to start and the staff quickly and efficiently took care of moving everything inside and left me with nothing to worry about! I would highly recommend Butler's Pantry.

get at a 5-star restaurant. We were able to give our guests the choice of beef, chicken, or vegetarian with delicious sides, and I could barely pick a favorite. Our appetizers were diverse and flavorful. The whole process of working with our coordinator, Nicole, and the chef on the menu was enjoyable. We got to pick and sample all of our favorites for the big day, and even make adjustments where needed. Due to an E. coli outbreak in romaine lettuce days before our event, we were able to seamlessly change our salad option with no muss or fuss. At our reception, there was a plate of the passed hoeur douvres at our place because we barely got a chance to grab them doing all of our mingling! I wish I could eat Butler’s food every day!

nd I what I could do to save cost. For a year a collected flowers from various stores (on sale) and vases from the Salvation Army. And, Becky arranged the flowers and offered color choices for paints of the vases. It all came together very beautifully! It was vintage and romantic feel at The Piper Palm House. I would recommend Butler Pantry.

llroom. The food was exquisite from the taste hors d'oeuvres to the magnificent beef tenderloin & seabass dinner service. The serving staff were all pros. We have had countless guests tell us how much they enjoyed the evening and that it was the best Wedding Reception they have ever attended. Wow.... Dave and I fell so blessed. We thank you so very much for the ongoing communication and worry-free attention to all the details. The evening was simply magnificent and the service made all the difference. Thank you, Jessica, you are a wonderful addition to Butlers Pantry.

r had, but one of the best meals they've had in general. The food was presented and tasted exactly like it was in our tasting (my husband said it was actually better at the wedding!). Their staff added the perfect element to the evening and were extremely wonderful. Our decor was done by Becky with Butler's Pantry Design Studio and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. Looking back on our day, we wouldn't change a thing. Thank you!

n, change, and requests I had. Always in a timely matter. Even on her days off, she would communicate with me! She had amazing ideas when I was stuck with planning our reception. Our reception took place in the Missouri History Museum, and it was stunning and magical. The food, oh my goodness, the food. The best catered food I have ever tasted! We been to many many weddings and have never had anything better. Coleen coordinated the most wonderful food tasting. We felt like we were in our own private dining space in an upscale restaurant. The Butler's Pantry headquaters are so cutting edge and handsome. Every request we had for our special day, Coleen delivered. We contributed some personal items to use at the venue, items that were special to us, and Coleen made sure they were put away and saved safely for us after the day ended. The night went so smoothly, every minute was planned and executed. At the end of the night Coleen gave me the biggest hug, and said she had the best time coordinating our night, and thought it was one of her favorite weddings she had done. She had become a friend throughout the process, we had talked so much through it! Every bride needs a team of BFF's on her big day, because that's was makes it special, knowing everything will be flawless, and not having a worry, so you can enjoy your day with your new husband. We couldn't have been happier with Butler's Pantry!

The night of the wedding went so perfectly. The service was great-courteous and efficient, and every bit of the food was prepared to perfection. BP even helped us serve up the wonderful St. Louis themed late night snack, and our guests stayed until the very end because they were full of great food and so happy! I recommend BP to all of my friends and cannot rave about them enough. I also used the BP Design Studio to make all of our arrangements and they were incredible. They really matched the flowers to my theme and the season and they look so beautiful in every photo. Butler's Pantry really helped make our wedding reception so perfect! :)

Fan favorite seemed to be the Mac and Cheese bar. Bridget at Butler's Pantry was so open to all the ideas my fiance and I had to make our wedding truly ours. The staff was kind and professional. No question was left unanswered for more than 24 hours which made the planning process go very smoothly. The house is nestled in a gorgeous park which had almost no foot traffic. It truly felt like we had our wedding in our our private estate. So cool! I would highly recommend it! And invite me!! I want to go back!

She even worked to order donuts from our favorite donut shop for our dessert and helped me connect with a rental company for my decor needs. Whenever I got stuck on a planning question, I just sent a note to Elisa. She would respond immediately with an answer or a suggestion for whom to contact. Then, on the day of our wedding, Elisa and her team worked seamlessly and silently to present our appetizers, dinner, and dessert. I would have forgotten they were there if delicious food didn't keep appearing! Beyond Elisa, our food from Butler's was a big hit with our guests. People raved about the short rib taco appetizer and the beef tenderloin entree - one of our guests cleaned his plate and the plates of two other guests! I would definitely recommend Butler's if you want great service, expertise, and amazing food.

few members of the wedding party got to sample the cooking at the regular Sunday brunch at Café Madelaine in Tower Grove Park, which BP caters. Marie Corragio, my staff contact, was amazing. She always responded promptly to emails and telephone calls. Her staff was in charge of table setup and teardown for my venue, in addition to food service, and on the big day, everything came off without a hitch!

The services they provide are extremely comprehensive and that truly helps to alleviate a lot of the stress that comes along with planning a wedding. We received a TON of compliments on the food and many of our guests said it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. The day-of staff was not only professional, dependable, and attentive, but they remained positive and upbeat even though our wedding was outside in 97 degree heat. Everything from the food tasting to the service during the wedding was top of the line and we were blown away. Our specific point of contact at Butler's Pantry was Bridget and we certainly couldn't have had the wedding of our dreams if it wasn't for her. She was always there when we needed her and supported our decisions throughout the process. She remained in constant communication with us throughout the planning process and she always provided us with prompt and detailed answers to our questions. Additionally, she was a huge help during our rehearsal in that she was able to keep the bridal party organized while effectively communicating to everyone their role. On top of that, she made sure we had everything we needed and more during the ceremony and reception and quite honestly, she went above and beyond our expectations. Bridget was a total joy to work with and a great reflection of Butler's Pantry as a whole.

nswering my MANY questions in a very timely manner, continuously tweaking our contract to get everything just right, offering great advice on layout/decor/food selection/vendors/etc., and executing all of the day-off setup perfectly. There were absolutely no issues with the reception the day of the wedding, and I really do attribute it to the foresight and organization of the Butler's Pantry staff. I was most nervous about feeding 190 people quickly, even with a buffet, but they set up two double-sided buffet lines and made sure everyone had food as quickly as possible. A couple weeks before the wedding, I realized that I had more people RSVP that they could attend than originally expected. No worries - Butler's Pantry added four additional tables to the overlook balcony, as well as an additional bar to accommodate. Everyone was able to fit and had a lot of fun! Butler's Pantry made the planning process so easy and fun! Last but not least, the food was great! We had some much fun at the tasting and everything turned out very well. We kept getting compliments on the food even a couple weeks after the wedding. I would highly recommend Butler's Pantry to anyone.

was friendly and personable, and never acted annoyed about my thousands of questions! I wish I could eat this food all the time. It was not the cheapest caterer, but the quality was definitely there, and I liked that the alcohol is included in the food so you don't have to worry about how much people are drinking/the cost on the day-of. The only teensy little problem we had was that we had 2 different kinds of cake and the servers were supposed to ask guests which kind they preferred. Instead, they just randomly passed out the plated pieces. But all in all, it was wonderful, food was great, and Liz Beaty was spectacular!

sted was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious! The woman I was working with was helpful, but very slow at responding to email and calls. A bit before the wedding the woman I was working with quit and I was given two new women to finish off my wedding. Neither of them were very good at responding to emails or answering questions. They also would ask me the same question over email 3 or 4 times (I replied each time and was a little nervous they would not get the details right) I had two family members with food allergies and they were not very helpful to accommodate them until the night before my wedding (not what I want to have to be thinking about after my rehearsal dinner). At my wedding, the food was delicious (everyone loved it!) The stations were fun because we could pick such a variety of food and it was more casual than a sit-down dinner. However, the display was not very impressive. Rather than stationing the different stations around the room, they put them all in the middle (this is maybe more of the Piper Palm House - my venue's - fault). It defeated the purpose of the stations and turned it more into a buffet..... Another complaint - at the end of the night as my groom and I were about to exit through bubbles to our get away car, the head server hands me a meal in tin foil. While this is a thoughtful gestures (because we had not been able to eat more than a couple bites all evening) there was no way I would have my 'grand exit' holding a piece of tin foil....They should give this to a family member or arrange for it to be placed in our car earlier or not bother at all. Prices were reasonable for food and drink, except the high cost per person for a champagne toast (I splurged because it is a wedding - but was annoyed at how much it cost). Everyone enjoyed the choices of drinks they offered and the line at the bar was very quick. Overall - they were okay, food was yummy, but service brought my overall rank down.

The only issue I had was correcting mistakes found on proposals. Once I pointed a few things out, they were corrected quickly, but I was not too keen on having to calculate the math.

We were particularly grateful to Courtney and the serving captain for offering us the use of their pop-up tent for the string quartet we had hired for our ceremony. There was a threat of rain and the quartet would not play unless under cover. It would have been disappointing to us to not have the musicians visible during the ceremony, so their quick and spontaneous offer to remedy the situation with the tent that their staff erected and carried out to the patio really saved the day. Going above and beyond in situations like these is what sets Butler's Pantry apart from others in the catering business.

seum, Indra, who was on top of everything. If I emailed her, I would receive a response back that day. She really seemed to care about our wedding which I really appreciated. We had a very nice tasting a few weeks before our wedding, and I could not have been happier. We had three appetizer, toasted grape and brie on brioche, a crab and fennel salad in phyllo flower, and beef tenderloin gaufrette (I might be a little off on the names but they were amazing!). We also had the Bistro Roasted Chicken with thyme aus jus, the chive and cheddar souffle, asparagus spears with roasted red peppers, and then there was a variety of hand crafted breads at each table. I had to do chicken because of cost and was dreading it because chicken at a wedding reception usually is chicken dumped in some sauce or covered in cheese to cover up lack of quality. I was truly impressed with this entree. It was cooked to perfection, had a lot of flavor, and looked very nice presentation wise. So if you are on a budget like I was, you will not be disappointed! Butler's Pantry quality does not lag no matter how much or little money you are spending. I also wanted to comment on the service, which I also thought was wonderful. We had a seated dinner, and all of the servers were very professional in bringing out the meals and clearing them correctly. They were also very accommodating to any needs guests might have had. they offer vegetarian and children options as substitutes as well that you can take care of beforehand, no problem. I know my review is extremely long, but I had to get across how truly wonderful they made my wedding day. If you have any event at the History Museum, Indra Russell will take care of you, and I am sure that service carries over into the other venues they cater at as well.
