met Blair and her team at a vendors event at The BRIX on the Fox, and quickly booked their services, as they came highly recommended from the BRIX team. They more than exceeded expectations! Leading up to the big day, we had multiple meetings with Blair (kick off meeting, 3-month out timeline meeting, 1-month out meeting, and one-week check in). These meetings were so incredibly helpful to clarify questions, go over vendor information, timeline/venue layout, and small details. The often brought up things we didn’t even think of and removed the stress of us having to figure out our own timeline. Throughout the planning process, Blair sent along helpful tips/tricks for wedding planning and we also had access to Aisle Planner which kept us on track/organized. Whenever we had any questions, Blair’s team quickly responded via email or reached out to our vendors to clarify items on our behalf. I have no idea how couples plan/put together a wedding without a coordinator, but the BW Studio team made the whole process so much less stressful and allowed us to keep the focus on what’s most important (becoming husband & wife)! They encouraged us to take a moment in the bridal suite after we said “I do” to take it all in and also enjoy some hors douevres alone - this was one of my favorite moments of the whole day. We will be eternally grateful for this wonderful crew and would recommend them to anyone in the Chicago area planning a wedding! You will not be disappointed!

ring someone onto our “wedding team” that would help keep us on track with all of the milestones during the wedding planning process. From the get-go, over our 15-month planning period, Blair was always transparent about timing and was a master of following up regarding timelines, without ever badgering us or coming across as controlling. She spent over an hour discussing budgets with us and our families early on, to make sure that everything we planned stayed in the budget range that we’d all agreed upon. This was especially helpful during our venue and vendor selection process. She helped us find that blew our socks off, and also found us the most wonderful florist (@thelocalpetaler) who was able to provide us way more bang for our buck than any florist we’d be able to find on our own - a huge advantage. While we had our venue already picked out, Blair was able to recommend a food and beverage package with an available catering company that fell delivered us fantastic food and a premium beverage package that fit our budget. 

Leading up to the wedding, Blair was also a master in helping us coordinate our wedding day planning including family photos, transportation e.g. coordinating our bus between multiple hotels and the venue while making it easy for us to just focus on ourselves. The peace of mind that Blair brought us throughout the planning process, week of, and day of our wedding made having our wedding a cakewalk rather than a headache. Spending the money to hire Blair was the best decision we could’ve made for our wedding!

Our friends and family were raving about all our "special touches" that thanks to Blair, we were able to execute. We had almost 250 at our wedding- but Blair and her team made it feel intimate, warm, and like a giant party- all the things we were hoping for. From the start, Blair went above and beyond typical wedding planner duties (we hired her for the weekend of the wedding, but she started well before this). Other planners said they wouldn’t talk with us until a month or so before the wedding, but with Blair we started a year before. She helped give us vendor suggestions, as well as answered emails in a very timely manner. She responded to many panicked emails and was not only a wedding planner but a wedding therapist for my anxious wedding-planning mind. She never made me feel embarrassed to ask a million questions, and getting closer toward the wedding, she always was so professional and also as excited for our wedding as we were. The rehearsal was great and her assistant Margaux led it and was equally fabulous for handling our disorganized family. After the rehearsal I felt so ready for the day of the wedding. The day of the wedding was a breeze thanks to Blair. She took so many things off my plate the morning of, such as picking up our cake from the cake shop and grabbing flowers from our getting-ready location to bring to the venue. Once at the venue, I felt more pampered on than ever in my life. If anything had gone wrong, I never knew about it and I’m sure that was thanks to Blair. I could go to her and Margaux for anything, and believe me, I did. To grab me water, to hold my flowers, to make sure the DJ played a song we wanted, to getting an extra piece of cake, they were at my side and that was more than I ever could have asked for in a wedding planner. I wish we could have another wedding just so Blair could help plan it again!

e settling on Blair. As soon as we got off our info call with her, we knew we wanted to book her, and boy were we right to do so. She made our 200-person wedding an absolute dream. From the get go, Blair fully immersed herself in understanding our wedding vision. Specifically, she jumped in to learn about the nuances of our multicultural wedding traditions (Assyrian & Jewish), and was genuinely excited to do so. Meeting with Blair was always a joy. She was flexible in her scheduling and always showed up to our sessions prepared and with a smile. Blair did an impeccable job in assisting us with vendor selection. She did not bat an eye when we wanted more options, and I’m overjoyed to say that every single vendor we worked with under her recommendation was superb, above and beyond our wildest dreams. Our one vendor who fell short, our tuxedo rental company for the groomsmen, was a recommendation from a friend, not Blair, and when they fell short, Blair pulled out all the stops to get them back on track for us. In the months leading up to the wedding, Blair assured me every step of the way. Through every panicked email from me and crazy planning call with my maid of honor and family, Blair was professional and understanding, never making me feel like I was inconveniencing her or that my worries were silly. No question was too small or too repetitive for Blair, nor was she phased by any of the pre-wedding snafus that inevitably come up when planning a large-scale event. On the day of, Blair was a vision of calm competence, as was her incredible team of planners. She was focused and did not take her eye from the ball for a second. She coordinated myriad vendors while making sure I remained unaware of any snafus, which she fixed immediately with no one noticing. She made sure the bridal party was in check and kept us on schedule without making us feel like we were rushing any important parts of the day. She assisted me and my maid of honor in bustling my dress and even had a member of her team go back to the hotel for some items we’d accidentally left behind. After two years of planning, I was able to fully be present in and enjoy my wedding day because of Blair. I will sing Blair’s praises to anyone who will listen, including one of my best friends and my now-husband’s cousin who have both hired her for their weddings. I came to know Blair as my friend’s Maid of Honor, so this wasn’t even my own wedding. While my involvement in the planning process may have been slightly unconventional, Blair always treated me like I belonged. In fact, she made me feel so comfortable that I began asking her for tips on everything from the bachelorette party to last-minute MoH advice — sage wisdom that she enthusiastically dispensed in a swift manner every single time. Two years of planning flew by with her at the helm. Blair is a rocket scientist-level genius with the stamina of a seasoned marathon runner. She is a creative problem-solver, a total visionary for beautiful events, and perhaps one of the kindest people I have ever met. I made a few small slip-ups on the day of the wedding, and Blair disappeared them in seconds while also attending to her myriad responsibilities. Critically, she also knows exactly when and how to be firm (with grace!) if necessary, but always has the brightest smile on her face for her clients. Her team is equally proficient in every way, and their cohesiveness as a unit is something to behold. It is additionally incredibly obvious that her vendor network is quite robust and very receptive to working with her, which speaks volumes about her personal and professional character. All the vendors my friend hired through Blair completed their services to absolute perfection. My only reservation about Blair is that I am not entirely sure she is a real human, because how is it possible for someone to be in ten different places at once doing fifteen different things? At the very least, she has teleportation powers, and I stand by that. The day I spent watching my best friend marry her true love will forever be one of my favorites, and I have Blair & her team to thank for the life they breathed into a memory that will float happily in my mind forever. Right away, there was a plan that was easy for us to follow with regular check-ins, to-do lists, incredible planning tools and even then, Blair was just a text or phone call away. She shared with us so many resources, tips, and advice we didn’t know we needed, she kept us on track throughout the long planning process, and she took care of so much more that we probably are not even aware of before, during, and after the wedding. We heard about maybe some small incidents happening at the wedding (a glass spilled, etc.), but we can’t even verify the story because Blair and Samantha took care of it before anyone could notice. There’s so much more to say about what they do, but plain and simple: Blair and Samantha are incredible in every sense of the term. Not only did they make it easy on us, the couple, but even our wedding party and family told us how much help they were to them. Also, they made sure we had food! AND DRINKS! We can’t express how thankful we are to them and we cannot recommend them enough - they might be the best in the business!
