I cannot say enough wonderful things about Sue. We hired her as our day of coordinator. She was a total God send, and I don't know what we would have done without her. She went above and beyond, was incredibly helpful and had so many great pieces of advice or ideas. Sue maintained regular communication, was really easy to get in touch with in between and she was happy to answer any and all questions we had. We were also able to save money on the linens and some of the decor thanks to her. In addition, she helped us find our caterer, definitely helped us with things we had not thought of. She made the rehearsal and day of our wedding feel so flawless, allowing us to truly sit back and enjoy the day. Even if our group held up the timeline a bit, lol. She is completely worth more than what she charges and she was so fun and wonderful to work with.
Sue was a dream to work with from the moment we hired her. She scheduled Zoom calls leading up to the big day, ensuring we stayed on track and addressing every question we had. Not only did she offer us her beautiful decor at no extra cost, but her kindness and professionalism made the entire planning process stress-free. On the wedding day, she handled everything with ease, making sure it all went seamlessly. Thanks to Sue, we were able to fully enjoy our day without any worries. If you want a coordinator who truly goes above and beyond, Sue is the one!
Sue was a wonderful addition to our wedding day as a day of coordinator. She was kind, organized, and had everything set up exactly how we wanted. Her decor library is great and really helpful to couples. She kept us on track and helped us think of things we had forgotten about. She checked in with us regularly, and we are so thankful for her helping make the day run smoothly.
Sue was the best decision we made when it came to deciding vendors. She made sure that our day was beautiful and that we didn't have to worry about anything. Between meetings, calls, and texts, she made sure that we were on track with planning and booking things, as well as explaining anything we had questions about. We couldn't have done it without her and her team!
Sue was so great! She is ALWAYS available to chat and she is one of the most personable people we’ve worked with. She understands that our wedding day is OUR wedding day and she worked tirelessly to make our dreams come true. If you are looking for someone to handle all the moving parts on your wedding day and decrease your stress level, look no further.
Sue is AMAZING!! She was like our fairy godmother for the entire process. We needed a wedding planner that was going to make the process much easier and less stressful for us, and that's exactly what we got. She was very quick to communicate back to us, which was super beneficial because we were living in Charlotte and planning a wedding for St. Louis! And to make matters even better, she has a HUGE catalog of decor and contacts that make it so much easier and cheaper to get those fine details squared away and find the rest of the high quality vendors you need for your wedding. Booking her was the best decision we made in terms of wedding planning!
Susan was kind, organized, and definitely worth hiring! Having someone familiar with the wedding process was invaluable in itself, but Susan also helped SO much with setup and takedown on the day of the wedding. What a wonderful coordinator!
This was the best decision made. Susan handled every crises quickly and made it seem easy. The cost of her services was offset by all the wedding items she provided. We were very impressed with Susan.
We were on the fence about whether or not we needed a day of coordinator and let me just say I literally don't know what we would have done without Sue! She was there not only the day of, but at the rehearsal and really she was there to help us from the moment we booked her. Everything the day of went seamlessly thanks to Sue. It was also great to just have her keeping me on track in those last few weeks before the wedding. She was always very responsive and willing to chat with us and answer any questions that we had. I also really appreciated that she attended the rehearsal as part of her services (several other coordinators we looked at charged extra for that). If you are on the fence about whether or not you need a day of coordinator, first of all you absolutely do, and second you need to hire BWhimsical Events.
Sue was a lifesaver for our wedding prep and day! I am so happy we went with her and her company because it allowed my husband and I to really relax and enjoy our wedding day.
Sue is absolutely delightful, I originally was on the fence about hiring a wedding planner but I am SO HAPPY I did. I would have been way more stressed without her and her amazing team on my wedding day. We used her services for day of coordination including set up and clean up. She was amazing at keeping in touch with us every step of the way while planning almost a whole year before the wedding. She helped us with timelines, to do lists and so much more. She has an incredible amount of years/experience in the event planning field and it truly shows. Plus her personality is amazing, she is easy to talk to, understanding and patient! It was great to have her and her team take care of the little details of setting up/take down so my partner and I could enjoy the wedding day. Let Sue take care of you for the important event!
Susan was an absolutely incredible addition to our day. Right when we had chosen our vendors, she was actively coordinating for our wedding day and was on top of every single detail. She provided so much assurance for my mom and I both; months leading up to the wedding, knowing we were in good hands and that we could trust her. She went above and beyond and spent more time with us than we could have anticipated. She made our day everything we could have imagined and more. Sue came to me highly recommended by a friend that used her services for her daughter’s wedding. I am the mother of the groom and shared Sue’s name with my then future daughter in law. Sue was hired and she was such a source of knowledge in all aspects of planning the wedding. She guided everyone perfectly, and shared ideas that were new or a bit different than we thought about. Sue can recommend vendors for all aspects of a wedding and even personally provide decorations or materials customized to match your wedding. Every meeting we had with her was informative and productive. The day of the wedding she was there early and everything was set up even before family arrived and she packed up and cleaned up everything at the end of the reception. Every need we had was taken care of by Sue and her helpers. I can personally say that Sue will 100% take wonderful care of everyone and every detail of your wedding. Thank you Sue for all you did for us!
Sue was the dream wedding planner. She encouraged us to focus on what we valued and not over complicate our day. She asked us what we wanted, focused on the details she knew would matter for us and our guests, and remembered every single detail we mentioned. She often said “out of your head and into mine” so that we could focus on enjoying the day and not any logistics. Our family and bridal party quickly loved her and respected her. We trusted her completely and she communicated with our vendors to create a team to support the day. By the time the ceremony came around, she felt like family.
Sue was amazing at communicating with us, keeping us on track as we planned, and thought of EVERYTHING. She has seen so many weddings and knew what was typical, what works, what doesn’t work, and what we could do to make our day feel authentic to us.
Another detail to mention is that our wedding was a destination wedding - we don’t live near our venue and Sue hadn’t seen the venue until a few days prior to the wedding. She was confident and comfortable in the space and with the travel and new surroundings.
Our wedding day would not have been the same without Sue. She is essential to enjoying your wedding day and relaxing!
Truthfully, we weren’t sure if we were going to use a coordinator or not. We lucked out winning a raffle to use Sue at a discounted price and looking back I don’t know how we would’ve done it without her. We kept talking about how it was the best money we spent on the entire wedding. She is professional and just so great. If she has your date, I highly recommend booking her!
I can't say enough about Sue and BWhimsical Events. I haired Sue as a day of coordinator for my daughter's May 2023 wedding at Knotting Hills. From the very beginning Sue was on top of things. She was very organized and communicated due dates and timelines to everyone involved. She was quick to reply to all emails and very engaged from day one. I felt very confident that I was not going to have any worries the day of the wedding, and I didn't!!! I highly recommend Sue for all your wedding needs. Thank you Sue for making my daughter's wedding day a day to remember. Because of you I was able to be in the moment for everything and not miss anything.!
Sue was our Day of Wedding Planner and she was so amazing! She went above and beyond! She was helpful throughout our whole wedding planning process! She put me such at ease the day of our wedding! My husband and I decided to choose Sue as our day of coordinator after visiting a wedding show and meeting her there. We weren’t sure if we’d actually need one or if the money was worth it, but when we met her she stuck out to us because it seemed like she actually enjoyed being there and meeting everyone. We were wary because we didn’t see a lot of reviews online or big social media presence, so we asked her for reviews from past couples, and all of them were glowing recommendations.
Choosing Sue ended up being the absolute best decision we made in the wedding planning process! She truly was a team mate to us and she went way above and beyond what we imagined. She was so responsive, willing to meet as much as we wanted, and truly invested herself in making our vision come to life. She touched base with us frequently, made multiple venue visits, gave us decor and ceremony ideas, and even let us borrow decor items. Every question we had she answered, and she was such a great support to have.
The week of our wedding was a whirlwind due to the forecast being almost 20° colder than anticipated, and Sue was there every step of the way contacting our venue to figure out a backup plan, she even went out there on her own to take photos of another space option for us, and met with us again the next day to see the space in person together. We trusted her to come up with a floor plan and make things work out since this was a huge curveball, and both our ceremony and reception space ended up being so beautiful.
She handled all communications with our vendors and kept us in the loop without overwhelming us, and I truly don’t think we could’ve survived with our heads on if not for her. We are so thankful we crossed paths with Sue and genuinely enjoyed working with her, after every meeting with her we felt like bricks were lifted off our shoulders. We cannot recommend her enough if you’re planning a wedding (or any other event!).

We got married recently in September 2022 and we found Sue around March or April I believe. By then, we were already stressed out of our minds with all of the planning we had to do. Thankfully, Sue was so helpful and so kind throughout the whole process. She thought of things we would have never even thought about, and you can tell that she truly cares about you as a couple. We're even getting dinner with her next week! I cannot recommend a planner more than Sue, she will take care of you!
I could not recommend anyone better to help make your special day memorable. My husband and I actually live in Tulsa, Oklahoma, but all of our family lives in St. Louis, so we knew we needed to have our wedding in St. Louis. There was no way we could successfully plan our wedding without some experienced help. We knew that Sue had a lot of industry knowledge with her event planning background, and she also knows the area of St. Louis extremely well. My husband and I also had the joys of getting married in the middle of the pandemic when venues were cutting the number of guests allowed or just shutting down. I knew we needed someone who could handle this unusual circumstance as well as any freakouts that I had. Sue has such a calm demeanor and always rolled with any changes we threw her way. Sue set up scheduled calls with us through the process, asked us questions that we never even thought of, had a timeline all ready for us on when to order certain wedding items or when to have things sent out, and always kept in contact through emails or texts. Sue visited our venue multiple times when we couldn't make it and joined us at our tasting to ensure she had all of the correct information from the catering team. Sue is amazing at what she does, and she puts her whole heart into it.
