Choosing Halie for our wedding day was hands-down one of our greatest decisions. Halie is truly made for what she does, and as a bride I am so grateful for not only the way she captured the day and how absolutely stunning and elegant the photos came out, but the amount of attention to detail she gave throughout the process which felt like a huge weight off my shoulders. I could go on forever about the level of organization Halie has, she is timely, dependable, and thorough with every part of the process. From our first call to final detail meeting, she juggled a large shot list involving multiple locations on the cape cod EFFORTLESSLY. I know too often brides and families feel they are being pushed from one place to another, forced into awkward photos..with Halie’s expertise, I got to experience my big day in full peace the way its meant to be and STILL captured all the shots on my list and then some. She is considerate of the bride and family’s vision, has a great memory, and just all around fun and sweet person to work with. She made my entire family and friend group feel so comfortable, blending in with the background but also being that hype person! Now that we have received our full gallery, my husband and I have probably viewed the gallery a hundred times and each time we notice even a small detail in the background that makes us smile that we didn’t see the first time around. It is so special and we couldn’t be more happy. If you want timeless, elegant photos and a stress free day, there is no better option than Halie.

We were beyond thrilled to have Halie as our wedding photographer, and I cannot recommend her enough! Our journey with Halie started in the fall of 2023 when we did our engagement photos. While we initially felt a bit awkward in front of the camera, Halie made the entire experience enjoyable and special. She took the time to listen to our story and even let us incorporate fun props like champagne, cake, and our dogs, which made the session truly memorable. Leading up to our wedding on August 10, Halie was amazing in helping us prepare. She really listened to what we wanted and was monumental in outlining our wedding day schedule—something that made us feel incredibly prepared and calm. Although we had a month-of wedding coordinator, Halie’s guidance and attention to detail were unmatched. We booked Halie for both our rehearsal and wedding day, and it was one of the best decisions we made. By the time our wedding day arrived, she felt like a part of the family. She took the time to get to know our family, friends, and church, which made the day run so smoothly. Halie had told me during one of our initial calls that you spend the most time with your photographer on your wedding day, and she wasn’t wrong. I’m so grateful we had her by our side. Halie brought a calm, positive energy to the day (more than my mom) and so much so that my sister and best friend were raving about her! She captured every moment perfectly, from our special ceremony and family photos to the cocktail hour, reception, and candid shots of our guests. We got our sneak peeks on our honeymoon which was great, and I was anxiously awaiting the photos and glad Halie has an editing queue so I wouldn't have to bother her when it was all I could think about! I especially loved sharing the guest photos with everyone after the wedding, and now I’m having a hard time deciding which pictures to print because they’re all so beautiful. The best way I can describe Halie is that she truly felt like part of our family on our wedding day. She was hands-down the best vendor we worked with, and I can’t wait to use her for family photos or other events in the future. Booking Halie was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From our initial phone consultation to the engagement photos and the wedding day itself, Halie was an absolute joy to work with. The best decision David and I made during our wedding planning was hiring Halie for our wedding photography. She is so amazing at what she does and so organized with it! Which is something we have in common, I am super Type-A so the relationship I built with Halie was top tier and it made the whole planning process/wedding day a breeze. For David and I, our Rhode Island wedding was a destination as we are from Maryland so this made things a bit more complex with scheduling and understanding the area. When planning our engagement shoot, Halie made perfect suggestions for different locations to satisfy the different vibes I wanted in our pictures. During the shoot, she put us at ease and helped pose us in different ways to get the perfect shot. She also captured family photos for my family and I while we were all in Rhode Island for wedding planning activities. This helped us have an even closer bond with Halie and she got to see some of the family dynamics. All of the photos were absolutely beautiful!!! Between our engagement shoot and our wedding, Halie stayed in constant communication with me and gave me so many good tips/suggestions/ideas throughout the process. She made us a custom photo timeline for the whole wedding day. This was so helpful and we used her photo timeline as our baseline when engaging with all of our other vendors to ensure they were all on the same schedule. Halie captured pictures of our rehearsal dinner and intimate private sailboat ride with our inner circle. It was so fun to have her there to capture all of our New England details that we had spent so much time planning. Once again, she nailed it and got so many great pictures of us and our families! If you are considering adding rehearsal coverage, this is your sign to do it!!! Now for the wedding day, she truly outdid herself! She came fully prepared to dive into all of the shots and was reassuring me when I realized we were running slightly behind schedule. She was like my director that day and I had complete trust in her for all of it. She remained calm, poised, professional throughout all of the wedding day chaos. All of our wedding party was so impressed by Halie's well thought out photography. When we received our sneak peeks, we were just in utter shock!! They were stunning and exactly what we were hoping for. Halie’s photography style is the perfect blend of romantic and timeless. I got married in November and had the pleasure of having Halie as our photographer. She was incredible to work with and I cannot recommend her enough! She was very professional throughout the planning process, sharing her experiences and insights along the way. Halie's organization is second to none and she helped me create my day-of timeline which was HUGE! We had a wedding party of 18 (9 on each side) along with very large families and she managed to build a timeline that allowed us to fit in all the portraits/photos we wanted without feeling stressed about time. She was also very attentive to our family dynamics (which are complicated given me and my husband both have divorced parents). I would describe Halie's photography style as being light & bright with every photo feeling elegant - something I felt was unique when I was originally searching for photographers in the area. Overall, we had the best experience with Halie and really appreciate all she did to make our wedding day so special.

Halie is also very organized which helps ease the stress of the wedding build up. We had a unique situation where a record storm was projected for our wedding weekend and Halie was extremely patient and quick to organize a back up plan to assure us no matter what, we would still have the perfect day and photos we would love. On the wedding day, Halie made sure that all of the photos we requested to have with specific family members were covered in a seamless fashion. Could not agree more with all of the other glowing reviews about working with Halie and her team! Halie made by husband and I feel so comfortable and prepared for our wedding day from our very first meeting. My husband and I weren't exactly sure how we wanted to go about various aspects of day-of photography (first look, family portraits, getting ready photos etc.) and Halie was SO helpful talking through options and making suggestions! We ended up having to adjust our photo plan last minute due to weather and Halie navigated the changes seamlessly. Friends and family who met Halie throughout the weekend had such incredible things to say about Halie and her team as well. We are SO grateful to have had Halie with us for our wedding day.

Halie is absolutely amazing! She is so talented, and working with her for our wedding was a dream. She is so much more than a photographer. She acted as a full on day of wedding coordinator keeping us on a timeline that made everything flow seamlessly. She coordinated with our venue and other vendors behind the scenes and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. We had several planning calls with her to make sure everything was exactly how we envisioned it. She puts in so much work beforehand, and it shows! Halie is THE BEST! I chose her because of her calming presence during our initial meeting. My fiancé wasn't too keen with the idea of taking a lot of pictures on our wedding day, so someone who was calm was key. She reassured me that a lot of grooms-to-be are camera shy. She was very flexible with our engagement pictures. We changed the date and location a couple of times. Our engagement pictures came out so beautiful, and my fiancé became very comfortable with Halie and taking pictures during that time. You come to realize that photographers are very important when planning your wedding day timeline. She worked with us and our planner to make sure we would get all of the pictures we would want that also fit into the schedule. The day of the wedding, she was so calm and detailed. There were times where we would talk, and there were other times where I forgot she was there. After the ceremony, she handled the different family and bridal party shots we wanted so well. She was very organized and kind to everyone she spoke with. She did a great job making sure people were positioned properly so the shots looked great, and she handled family dynamics well. We didn't want her to leave when it was time for her to go. We received our wedding pictures, and we're beyond impressed with how well they turned out! She and her assistant, Val, who is also great to work with, went above and beyond capturing every single detail (including ones I didn't think about). Everyone wants light and airy editing, but we wanted more of a classic editing style. She is amazing at both styles of editing, even on a cloudy, rainy day. Long story short, you won't regret hiring her!

Working with Halie was a dream and the absolute best decision! Not only did our photos come out STUNNING but she made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Halie was one of the best vendors we hired for our wedding, if not the best! From our first call, she was so friendly and was focused on making sure our photos and whole wedding day went smoothly. Due to the large amount of family and photo combinations, we had several calls with her about how to best schedule the photos, and she gave us great advice for how to prioritize the photo combinations while still making sure we captured everything that was important to us. She was so helpful throughout the planning process, even giving us great recommendations for other vendors. During our wedding weekend, Halie captured both our day before events and our wedding day. Throughout the whole weekend, she was extremely professional and organized. She was so personable while taking charge when needed to make sure we stuck to our schedule and got all the photos we wanted. Multiple wedding guests commented on what a great job she did during the weekend! All of the photos we got from her (engagement, day before, and wedding day) came out truly amazing! We are still in awe how she captured the beautiful posed pictures and all of the candid moments. In addition, Halie made our wedding album (and hand delivered it to us!), which came out stunning. It was so helpful to have her design it and take our input to make minimal changes. Overall, Halie was such an important piece in our wedding, and we could not be happier with her and her work! My husband and I booked Halie for our wedding, and we truly believe it was, without a doubt, the BEST decision we could have made. From the very first call, she paid close attention to our story, our vision, and what was most important to us. Rewind a year prior to our wedding, we had our engagement shoot at a popular summer beach spot on a Friday around sunset, no easy task itself. Halie suggested this picturesque location among many other beautiful options and was very accommodating. As soon as the shoot began, we knew we had made the right choice in Halie. As a couple who sought direction for posing, she directed us so naturally and made us feel so comfortable. We were stunned with how amazing the photos came out! In the time between the engagement shoot and our wedding, Halie kept in contact and was very responsive. She allowed us to organize our entire day utilizing a custom photo timeline that she created for our wedding day. We used her photo timeline as the driving force for every event and vendor for the entire wedding day. The day of our wedding, Halie somehow trumped her performance from the engagement shoot. She came with a second photographer and assistant who were equally professional and were able to capture every imaginable angle of our day. She managed to capture everything we hoped for including portraits with various family members, backdrops, moments, and more. We started to run behind schedule and even with this set back, Halie remained so poised, professional, and calm, and she was able to coordinate and maneuver our guests, wedding party, etc to wherever she needed them to capture every moment. She broke records to do so! We received so many compliments from our wedding party as they were so impressed by Halie's well orchestrated photography. When we received our sneak peeks and then our wedding album, we were truly blown away. She captured all of the most amazing moments between us and our guests, and especially brought the beauty of our venue to life throughout. We could not be more thrilled with how amazing they came out. Halie's blend of digital, film, and editing created an album that exceeded all expectations. Romantic, timeless, emotional, and authentic. We will treasure our photos forever and they have already brought us so much joy, sharing them with friends and family and reliving the most special day. Halie photographed our wedding this past Saturday and we cannot say enough good things about her. She was amazing!!! She made not only us as the couple but our entire wedding party and family feel comfortable and confident throughout all of the pictures. Photos, which not many say, was one of the favorite parts of our day. Halie captured beautiful moments, both formal and candid, that are truly amazing. Leading up to the day, she confirmed our timeline and was so organized and efficient the day of. She supported us for engagement pictures and got us both our preview albums so fast. Halie is truly a sweetheart and I will certainly use her in the future for family pictures. We had personal relationship before and she find the right balance of personal and professional. I thought it was because we were friends that I felt comfortable but everyone after the wedding said she had a way of putting us at ease but also knowing we weren't missing anything. Halie photographed our intimate Public Garden elopement ceremony in April, and not only are my husband and I in love with our wedding photos, but working with her was a dream! We were originally planning on getting married at City Hall with our 18-month old daughter as our only guest, and we hadn’t even thought about hiring a wedding photographer, but in my first “how to get married at City Hall” Google search, a blog post from Halie about elopement photos popped up. It immediately convinced me that even if our day itself was going to be a simple one, it deserved to be documented with photos — and specifically, I wanted those photos to be by Halie! From our first Zoom call, I always felt like I was talking to both a friend and a capable and experienced professional at the same time. She made us realize how special and memorable an elopement could be, she was a wealth of knowledge on the process, and was full of creative and helpful suggestions from her vast experience photographing intimate ceremonies like ours as well as her specialty in MUCH bigger weddings. Simply working with her in the preliminary stages made our tiny wedding feel so much more festive, and we soon decided to move our ceremony out of City Hall to the Public Garden. This meant we needed more guidance and planning, and we couldn’t have done it without Halie! Her thorough and proactive communication was top notch, and every time I asked her for a recommendation, she more than delivered — and we took every single one of her suggestions (including our wonderful officiant and my fabulous makeup artist). Our wedding day itself was a relaxed and happy one, but also went by so quickly and in such a blur, particularly given the aspect of juggling an unruly toddler who was NOT in the mood to participate. But thanks to Halie — her vision, her talent, and her calm and commanding efficiency — we now have unbelievably gorgeous and special photos that will allow us to relive and cherish each moment forever. Every shot is gorgeous and perfectly framed and my husband and I have never seen ourselves looking happier or more at ease with ourselves and each other than in the photos she captured. Our daughter had several tantrums and escape attempts during our brief ceremony and hour-long portrait session, but you would never know it from the photos — the mark of a true pro! I don’t know how she managed to capture us like she did, but we are truly in awe of her talent. We wholeheartedly recommend Halie to anyone planning a wedding of any size, and we absolutely plan to work with her again for other family portrait sessions.

WOW. Out of all of the (many) decisions we made during the process of planning our wedding, choosing to work with Halie as our photographer was by far the best. Not only did our photos come out STUNNING, but our entire experience working with Halie in planning, and on the day of our wedding, was beyond what we could have hoped for. Our entire family and bridal party could not say enough about how great it was to have Halie with us throughout the day, and my now husband and I could not agree more. Through all the wedding day craziness, she helped us feel relaxed and at ease. We truly could not have imagined the entire process running so smoothly without her. Halie was the absolute best wedding photographer we could have asked for! We first met her back in 2019 for our engagement shoot for what should have been a May 2020 wedding. She was so great at making us feel comfortable during the original shoot. We even had our dog join us and she took amazing photos of him as well! Halie was also so accommodating and helpful in rescheduling our wedding to May of 2022 due to the pandemic. We are so fortunate that we were able to keep her as our photographer for our wedding! It was so easy to communicate with Halie throughout the process. She listened to all of our requests and preferences with what types of pictures we wanted. On the day of the wedding, Halie was incredible at "rallying the troops" for all of our formal shots. Our families and bridal party all had nothing but great things to say about her as well. Every single picture we got back from the day was perfect (and there were over 1000 of them!) It will be hard to choose only a few favorites to hang.

We had a wonderful experience working with Halie as our wedding photographer! Halie did an incredible job capturing our day - she delivered the perfect blend of authentic, documentary style photos paired with more classic, posed portraits that I felt were important to round out our album. One of the main reasons (aside from her work) why I chose Halie was because I genuinely felt that it was important to her to get to know me and our vision for the wedding day. Halie understands that not every wedding will look the same and it shows through in how she works with couples. One of my favorite parts of working with her was in the vision board process - Essentially she gives couples the opportunity to complete a questionnaire to help understand their vision for the day and then will literally show you what she THINKS you mean to make sure she's on the right track. She was spot on and it helped make me feel even more confident in our decision. Halie was very communicative and say to reach- I texted her and called on a whim a couple times - and was overall a pleasure to work with. I am so grateful to Halie - I was a very detail oriented and somewhat anxious bride by the end but she handled me with complete grace and was wonderful to be around on the wedding day. I'm honestly devastated that she can't photograph my wedding again since it's over. We highly recommend Halie!

It’s truly hard to put into words how grateful we are to have had Halie as our wedding photographer. Halie is extremely talented and genuinely cares about her couples. When news of COVID-19 began to circulate in March of 2020, Halie was the first vendor to check in with us to see not only how we were doing with wedding planning, but also how we were in general. She was so flexible through the rescheduling process and provided advice, support and insight as we changed our date and venue. Halie continued to impress us on our wedding day by going above and beyond. She was such a rock, keeping us on track while giving us peace of mind at the same time. Halie was such a joy to be around and her attention to detail, organization and communication skills were unmatched. We received a few photos that very night and we were completely blown away. To say we are in love with our full wedding album is an understatement. We continue to get compliments on how absolutely gorgeous our photos are almost a year later. We were first drawn to Halie after seeing the beautiful, light and airy style of her photos, which we preferred over photos that had bolder and more saturated colors. After reaching out, we knew pretty instantly that Halie would be the perfect photographer for our wedding. She was extremely professional and it was clear she knew exactly what she was doing -- from her detailed emails, getting to know you surveys, timeline suggestions, and so much more, Halie quickly became a key member of our wedding planning team. I truly appreciated her expertise and advice throughout the process and her supreme organization, which helped make sure we planned enough time to get all of the photos we wanted (with backup plans included). On the day of the wedding, Halie was excellent with our guests which included elderly family members and cranky toddlers. She kept us on schedule but also reminded us that we could be flexible and change the plan if needed. I highly recommend doing engagement photos as part of the package. We had never done professional photos before and they were absolutely gorgeous. They made us even more excited for the wedding, and the stress-free photo shoot gave us a chance to get comfortable with Halie prior to the big day. Overall, our wedding planning process was made so much easier -- and our entire wedding day went seamlessly -- thanks to Halie and her awesome team. We could not recommend her more!!

I wish 10 stars were an option! My recommendation for any couple looking for a wedding photographer is to hire Halie, you will not be disappointed! From our initial emails, to phone calls to when she delivered our final album she was an absolute joy to work with. In additional to the beautiful photos, Halie also provided so much help with the timeline for the day (which was a huge point of stress for me) and even had back up wooden hangers for my bridesmaid dresses on my wedding day. Halie is warm, kind and professional which is exactly the type of person/vendor you want while planning a wedding during covid. I will definitely be hiring Halie for all future photography needs and you should too!!

Starting from our initial convos and engagement shoot - she was so helpful answering questions, helping out choose our outfits, and was SO SPEEDY with previews and photos. For our wedding, she did an excellent job capturing everything from the venue & details, stunning portraits, and dance floor. She provided a ton of help with coordinating photo lists and timelines are worked really well together with our wedding planner. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Halie is a rockstar! She was the first vendor we booked in our planning process, and never once did we doubt our choice. She is the most professional, organized, and timely vendor we worked with. Having Halie photograph our wedding was simply the BEST decision we ever made. Right from the start, she was so easy to work with and always willing to go the extra mile. There are not enough good things to say about Halie. After reviewing her social media, I knew her style was exactly what I was looking for. She did not disappoint the more I got to know her either. She was extremely supportive right off the bat and just so easy to talk to. She was really there for my husband and me while we postponed our wedding and she was always available to chat about any details, big or small. Fast forward to our wedding day and she came in so professional and prepared. She had done all the family tree research ahead of time to get to know the people and the dynamics before it was time for photos. Because of her dedication, our (very large) family photos went so smoothly. Her assistant was just as great as Halie, they worked so hard on our wedding day. We recently received our pictures and we were just beyond blown away. We received hundreds more images than we ever expected and she did not miss a single detail. That was really special because I spent a lot of time making decisions on things like flowers, place settings, desserts, etc and the day goes by so fast so I didn't even see how some things turned out. She got so many candids of our guests and it is so nice to have those memories of who attended our wedding. Our wedding portraits are just stunning, we can't believe how good we look! Halie gave us the best memories to cherish and look back upon. It was a total pleasure getting to know Halie, she is so kind and it is obvious she loves her work. Booking Halie as our wedding photographer was the first choice we made regarding our big day and by far the best. From start to finish she was personable, professional, organized, communicative, and gentle, yet thoughtful with her approach to aid the planning process. So much of what we accomplished on our wedding day at the last minute was because of her. With COVID slowly but surely encroaching on our day, and so much being up in the air for months, she was never hesitant to check in and offer advice or options. She was flexible and willing to make just about anything work for us. When we changed our location to our backyard at the last minute, she created a timeline for us reflecting the best lighting and location options based on the time of day and adjusted the timeline accordingly. She checked in multiple times leading up to the event following up with questionnaires that contained details we would have never thought of. She studied the names of every bridal party member and family member, understood family dynamics, and had every photo combination mapped out so we didn't forget anything. On the day of the wedding, she did a perfect job keeping us comfortable and balancing posed photos with effortless candids. We received our gallery exactly in the time frame that was promised and you can tell she put so much time and energy into every single shot. We are in love with every single one. I, for one, am NOT very photogenic and almost always hate the way I look in posed photos. Halie effortlessly takes all the fear and anxiety of being in front of the camera away and it totally comes across in her photos. I am going to have such a difficult time choosing just a handful to frame! We love them all! I cannot say enough amazing things about Halie. Halie was THE BEST photographer we could have ever found. The effort she put into getting to know us right from the start helped her feel more like a friend than a vendor on our wedding day. She never pressured us on anything and was so accommodating throughout the process. My dad’s cancer metastasized right around when we were hiring her and she offered to have some of our engagement photos be family photos in case my dad’s health wasn’t great by our wedding. This thoughtfulness was present throughout our time working with Halie. When the pandemic hit and there was so much uncertainty around if our 6/20/20 wedding would be able to happen Halie reached out to us to touch base and check in (even before our venue even did). She went above and beyond and handled our postponement so gracefully and was beyond helpful. She was the vendor we knew we’d plan our new date around, because she is THAT AMAZING. We ended up postponing to January 2021 and when that wasn’t looking feasible she was able to accommodate us pushing up our wedding. We had a small September wedding at our house and Halie became not only our photographer, but also our day of coordinator, planner, and the person to help keep me sane. She went above and beyond time after time! Various members of our family and bridal party had covid concerns and she was able to photoshop our photos a little so that we have “normal” group photos! Halie rolled with the mishaps throughout the day and constantly reassured us that what I thought was a disaster was “not a problem, it’ll be fine!”. She handled our divorced parents and difficult family dynamics wonderfully and there weren’t any awkward moments when there could have been plenty. Halie is so organized and prepared, my husband and I have been in a number of wedding parties and Halie is hands down our favorite photographer ever. I love that she wrote into our contract when we would have our photos by and then delivered our gallery early! You won’t regret choosing Halie!!

Halie is the absolute best! Her amazing attention to detail coupled with her calm demeanor made her so easy to work with, beginning with our initial phone conversations and engagement photos. Fast forward a year and our wedding plans all changed due to COVID-19, shifting from a big Seaport wedding to a backyard micro-wedding with just immediate family. She took time to virtually meet with us and map out a timeline of the day and plan out all the different groupings we wanted for photos. On the actual wedding day, she was organized and kept the day moving along in a relaxed manner. She arrived right on time and completed all the detail photos before the first look, ceremony, and photographs afterward. She was respectful of family dynamics and made sure everyone was included in photos without making anyone uncomfortable. Our wedding took place in our new home that was barely furnished since we had just moved in, but you could never tell how sparse it was from the photos. Halie worked with what we had and made it beautiful. After the ceremony, she followed us around town for photographs in multiple locations and never put any time pressure on us. Halie is the best choice you can make as a wedding photographer. From one quick look at her photos my husband and I knew her style was exactly what we wanted: bright, fun, and more candid. We originally planned for a 200 person downtown Boston wedding but due to COVID-19 we downsized to a 14 person micro wedding. Halie was quick to organize a new plan with us, and was willing to work with us for photos even during a pandemic (she was prepared mask and all during a 92 degree day.) Halie is someone you feel like you’ve known for years, easy going, and makes you feel so special on your big day. Our guests, especially my Dad and brother were very complementary on how Halie was quick and efficient with family photos knowing their names, where to go, and very organized. Something to point out about how wonderful she is is that she drove roughly an hour past our ceremony to take pictures of us with my Papa who could not make the ceremony. She was so accommodating to drive out and come to his front yard to take a few shots of my husband and I with him. With not having all of your guests at your wedding you really rely on pictures to share. Halie was amazing with a turn around of a sneak peak within 24 hours. This was the best so we could share photos the next day and my family and friends thought her work was amazing. We can’t wait have her photograph new save the dates and our celebration pictures. Since the first time we talked, our experience with Halie has been exceptional. We signed a wedding photographer but we found a well wisher and a true friend. We signed Halie for a 3 day wedding and since the first day our interactions with her have been super easy. She is flexible, understanding, and always provides great advice. Planning a wedding can be stressful, even for the most organized of brides. Throw in a worldwide pandemic the year of your wedding, and it adds a whole other layer of anxiety! Despite all that, Halie has been an incredibly supportive, flexible, and above all TALENTED wedding vendor, and I can’t recommend her enough. We first signed on with Halie as our photographer in winter of 2019 for our May 2020 wedding. I had been messaging with several photographers, but I knew Halie was the one after that first phone call (especially when she referenced our Game of Thrones puzzle I posted on Instagram!) Our engagement shoot that Spring was such a pleasure to do- originally scheduled for a Friday, we watched the rainy weather all week, and last minute moved it to Thursday. Halie was very flexible to make it work, and the images (and experience) from that first session were amazing. We could not wait to work with her again for our wedding the following year! Fast forward to spring of 2020 and the pandemic shutdown. So much uncertainty and fear, but Halie was always a calm “virtual” presence, coming up with multiple options for a potential new wedding date, whether that meant her shooting or an associate. We decided on a late fall reception date, but knew we still wanted to get married on our original May date. A few weeks before our May 30th wedding ceremony, we discussed what the day would look like, and she coordinated the entire backyard wedding timeline to help organize us. She answered every worried text of mine about planning the ten-person event, and especially as the weather forecast shifted from rain to sun to rain again. Our “micro wedding” in my parents backyard ended up being a perfect, summer-like day. It was truly magical, and I am so lucky that Halie was there to capture it. She was incredibly professional and comforting all day (and a trooper with her face mask in the heat!) We only have “sneak peeks” so far, but the photos she sent us of the small event are stunning, and make it feel and look like a much grander affair. I will cherish these memories of our small wedding day forever, even though it looks different than the original plan. We are hopeful we will be able to keep our late fall reception as planned, and can’t wait to have Halie present for that next event too!

Halie was such a helpful part of our big day from the beginning of planning. She is very organized, responsive and reliable. Her website is very user friendly and organized which you use to view and order photos and albums. It was really nice meeting her during the free engagement session to get warmed up for the wedding.
