She helped us execute rehearsal and made the day of the wedding run so smoothly - she took our vision and made it come to life. There were certain areas I wasn’t sure of but I knew I was in good hands because Sam knows her stuff. We had so many compliments the day after the wedding of how smooth everything ran and it was all thanks to Sam. The whole night I had no worries, wasn’t stress and was just able to enjoy the night. Samantha is amazing! Planning a wedding can be stressful, but won't be if you hire Samantha. We hired her for planning and as a day of coordinator. From the beginning she made sure she understood our vision and was super helpful with any questions we had. She is SO knowledgable about the industry and local vendors, she gave great suggestions for everything. She also reached out and handled the communication with our vendors which took such a load off of us during the planning process. On the day of she handled everything from reception set up to placement of small details to vendor coordination! My now husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing and could enjoy our entire day. After our day, our families even raved how great she was with organization, coordination, and questions! I can't recommend Samantha enough. She was organized, great with communication, and all around a complete gem!

I attended one of Sam’s weddings and was blown away by her attention to the guest experience. She coordinated gifts for the guests, planned for late night snacks, and had a photo booth for sideline entertainment. The couple’s first dance to a live jazz band stole the show and made it one of the most memorable weddings I’ve attended! Samantha was amazing! She helped make our wedding day run so smoothly. She helped ease my stress with a venue that provided a very short set up time before the start of our ceremony. Samantha managed to get everything set up on time and it looked even more amazing than I had hoped! We had a small mostly DIY wedding and she took on some odd requests (announce things over the speaker, run our music playlists and cut our wedding cake) from us and did a fantastic job! We couldn't have done it without her!

Hiring Samantha was THE BEST decision we made during our wedding planning process. I resisted hiring a day-of coordinator for a long time, but I honestly can’t imagine having a wedding without one. Everything was so uncertain in the weeks leading up to our wedding because of COVID-19, but Samantha was there for us in every way possible. She went above and beyond to help us stay sane and actually enjoy preparing for our wedding day. Samantha created a detailed day-of timeline that we followed with ease. She was present at our rehearsal and asked thoughtful questions. She handed out masks at our ceremony and helped seat guests so that we were in compliance with the church’s COVID-19 rules. She set up our decorations at the reception and worked with our vendors to make sure everything happened exactly how my husband and I requested throughout the evening (the reception venue was even more beautiful than we imagined!). Any time we had a question or concern about something, she was on top of it immediately. In short, my husband and I had a stress-free wedding day and we owe most of that to Samantha. I cannot recommend Samantha enough!!

Samantha was more than I could ever ask for in a wedding planner for our special day! We hired her to help coordinate the day of the wedding and we’re so glad we did!!!! We only met a few times and she understood what we envisioned and wanted for our amazing day. She even went far and beyond as to pick up all of our decorations beforehand and flowers we used during the ceremony the week of our wedding, so I wouldn’t have to worry about decorating. Samantha not only coordinated with our vendors during the planning and day of but she also spent all day decorating with our venue too. Samantha was the wedding planner for my daughter’s wedding and we asked her to help with the “day of the wedding” because I wanted to enjoy the wedding and I wanted my daughter to be worry-free on her wedding day. You can't go wrong hiring Samantha with By Your Side. For all the work she does- she is so affordable. Day-of coordination was about $1,000 and included SO much. She does the entire rehearsal, sets up the venue exactly how you'd like, makes sure photographers, DJs, etc. are where they need to be when, and takes down and collects everything at the end of the night. SO WORTH IT.

By Your Side was just incredible! Samantha has been doing events for years and it shows! She was extremely detail-oriented and knew the right questions to ask during the planning process- things I didn’t even know she’d ask me or need to know. I didn’t have to worry about anything on the day- contacting our vendors, gathering our gifts, setting up decorations- she did it all!

I went to Sam’s wedding and it was phenomenal! She planned her whole wedding and the reception was the best part. All of the colors she chose, the back lighting to compliment her center pieces, and all of the fine details, came together and made her special day one I will always remember!
