Connecting people over a slice of pizza, in the restaurant and at events small & large.
Byrne's Grilled Pizza started as a food truck in 2011. Since then, we've have served as many as 1,000 people over a 4 hour period at venues such as the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Zoobilation, and Talbott Street & Penrod Art Fairs. We equally enjoy serving at individual homes and reception venues to make your celebration one to remember with our skilled and endearing team.
We craft and cook all of the pizza freshly on site.
We make our own dough & sauce from scratch, and source many ingredients locally from places such as Goose the Market and Kincaid's, and even our own backyard! We offer gluten free and vegan options upon request. We also carry a number of pasta selections, appetizers, and desserts.
When pizza’s served straight off the grill, you can expect a flawlessly crisp-on-the-outside, chewy-on-the-inside crust. When you start with a foundation that good, you almost don’t need toppings at all. However, you don’t want to miss out on the delectable ingredients gracing our pies. You can go for a good old-fashioned pepperoni or sausage. Or, you can try one of the specialty pizzas. Fan of all things spicy? The Hot Momma is for you, topped off with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, and jalapeños. Meat-lover? Go for the P.B.S., featuring pepperoni, bacon, and sausage. Or, honor the eponymous Byrne himself with Byrne’s Specialty, slathered in pesto and covered in spinach and artichoke hearts. Sound delicious? Then go grab a slice. Or, even better, book Byrne’s Grilled Pizza for your next event. Everyone loves a pizza party, so it’s sure to be a hit.
Get to Know Us
Having been born to parents that owned a German delicatessen in Brooklyn NY, the hospitality and food industry came natural. Married in 1982 to my life partner Dot, who manages the books, with 3 great kids, all who have worked for us, or still do. We are truly a family owned company. We got into this business because we knew that we made a better, higher quality pizza than anyone else, and still believe this today. We make almost everything from scratch and cook on location. Our family knows how important this day is for you and we will make the food exceed yours and your guests expectations.
Byrne’s Grilled Pizza is named after owner Ken Reinstrom’s personal mentor, the late Father Jim Byrne. An inspiration to both Ken and his family, the Reinstroms decided to honor Jim’s memory with the best pizza possible.
