Ashley is planning my daughter’s October wedding in Greenville. She is knowledgeable, responsive, has a great sense of design, and is always on top of everything and keeps us on task. My daughter is in Pittsburgh and I am in Atlanta so we could not do this without her. We highly recommend her.

We hired C & A Event Planning for day of consulting, and they went above and beyond for my partner and I’s wedding. Cathy was attentive, organized, and positive the day of our wedding. She did not hesitate to roll up her sleeves and help with the grunt work on top of coordinating the day. We used C&A Event Planning for their design & coordination services for our September 2021 wedding. Because of COVID, we postponed our wedding from 2020, so in all, we ended up working with Ashley for almost 3 years (!). Ashley was great at making our vision come to life from the design standpoint and pointing us to other great vendors (as well as quickly answering all of our questions as we moved through the planning process!). On the day of, everything went so smoothly and our venue looked beautiful - even better than we ever could've imagined. Cathy was our onsite coordinator the day-of, and we feel like we barely saw her yet she was always magically in front of us whenever we needed anything. She went above and beyond to make sure our guests had a great time. We never had to worry about a single thing and got to sit back and truly enjoy our own wedding day. After nearly 10 years of together, we finally got engaged! The night of Thanksgiving, just the two of us. As healthcare providers who spend most of our time in the ear, nose and throat we spent that holiday, like most others of 2020, in our own social bubble. So after a decade together and in the midst of the pandemic, we didn't want to wait any longer to say our I Dos. We decided to have an intimate, private, family only wedding in September 2021 amidst the vineyards and lakes of Upstate NY. And that is exactly what it felt like working with Cathy and Ashley of C&A Event Planning - like working with family. The mother and daughter team is what drew us to this vendor and made their services so personal and unique. We ended up renting a house and planning a 5 day getaway for our families full of excursions, live music, a welcome BBQ, and an elegant family wedding dinner. Because of our jobs, we couldn't travel for any in-person viewings and tastings. But Ashley and Cathy were there every step of the way to help plan it all. They are both kind, creative, attentive to detail, care about what they do and the people they work with. The relationships C&A have with local vendors and their collaborations supporting local business is what sets them apart. Again, it's what makes working with them feel like family. We could not be more grateful for everything they did - it was truly a fairytale.

Working with C & A event planning was by far the best decision we made when it came to choosing a florist. Ashley did an amazing job bringing my vision to life and I am still in awe over it. Between the flowers, greenery and candle placement our wedding was stunning. We received so many compliments throughout the night and days after wedding. Ashley and Cathy were exceptional. They are not only pros at planning weddings, but they are talented florists, that made our day full of color and life. Many of our guests commented on the floral designs and they show amazing in all our photos. They handled every detail of our wedding from start to finish, which allowed us to sit back and enjoy every moment of the wedding. Ashley & Cathy were both there for our wedding for day of coordination & florals. The day of coordination went far beyond day of, Ashley helped me through so many questions and issues before and after the wedding. Unfortunately on the day of our wedding, one of our other vendors really dropped the ball but, Ashley and Cathy picked up their slack and made the evening incredible for us. Our florals were beyond beautiful and Ashley and Cathy made sure everything came to life exactly as I imagined. If I had to do it over, I would hire C&A Event Planning again a million times over.

She also made me feel comfortable and that everything was taken care of of, and on your special day that extra reassurance is needed! My husband and I got married October 2, 2020 and I am so glad I was able to have C&A do the florals. I had an idea in my head of what I wanted but didn’t really know specially. Ashley was able to give me an amazing floral proposal that helped me figure out my vision and the end result far exceeded my expectations of what my florals would look like. I cannot say enough positive things about Ashley Paul and the C & A Event Planning team. After deciding on having my wedding at Gilbertsville Farmhouse, I hired Ashley for both day of coordination services and florals as she was highly recommended by my venue owner. It was also a great sign that Ashley herself got married at my venue, so who else could know it better? “Day of coordination” is a bit of a misnomer, as Ashley was very helpful throughout the planning process leading up to the day of the wedding. She was very quick to respond to all of my emails and made the online payment and contract signing process very easy. She gave a lot of input about vendors and suggestions about layout and design. She also kept all the documents neatly organized on a shared Google drive. She sent numerous emails throughout the year to help keep this procrastinating bride on top of everything. We did two walkthroughs one about a year before and another a couple months before the wedding, which were both very helpful in planning my vision. Ashley was there for the rehearsal the day before and then worked her magic coordinating all my vendors the day of the wedding. Everything ran smoothly throughout the ceremony and reception. For the florals, Ashley took ideas from my Pinterest wedding board and input from our conversations to make a detailed proposal. They day of my wedding, she was there early to set up the ceremony and reception sites. The reception tables had beautiful garlands going down the long tables. The ceremony site was the most perfect explosion of eucalyptus and roses that I could have ever imagined! My vision (and Pinterest board) had come to life and so much more. I think she added even more florals to the ceremony site than originally planned and it was breathtaking to see for the first time, to walk down the aisle, and to look back upon time and time again in my pictures and video. Ashley was able to make adjustments the day of to my bridal bouquet and boutonnieres, to make everything perfect. My bouquet was the most gigantic and wild bouquet of my dreams and I did not want to put it down! Today, seven months later, my house is covered in the pressed and dried flowers and garlands that I cannot bear to throw away. Ashley was organized, informative, sweet, she was a pleasure to work with, and I cannot recommend C & A Event Planning enough. You will NOT regret hiring her!

Ashley was incredible from day 1. We used C&A for flowers and month of planning. For flowers, I could not have dreamed uP more beautiful bouquets, arbor display and overall flower decor. Ashley was extremely patient with me through the process even when I decided to make changes at the last minute. They worked with me to repurpose flowers from the ceremony to the reception which was a huge budget saver. I wasn’t able to take all of my flowers home and C&A worked to donate our flowers to a local hospital! For planning, Ashley proactively checked-in regularly and was able to help with recommendations when I was in a pinch. They are very familiar with our venue which was also extremely helpful. Thank you C&A for everything!

This mother/daughter duo is unstoppable. Besides being out of control awesome at floral designing these two are super organized. From the first email through the entire lead up to our wedding day Ashley(who by the way had just had baby) was so incredibly responsive and patient. We did the whole floral selection via email and she made it so simple to pick and choose. I met Cathy at the rehearsal the night before the wedding for the first time. She was very organized but so gentle and sweet. She was able to keep our rowdy crew focused long enough to learn where to stand and what to do so we didn’t look like a bunch of fools! On the day of the wedding when I saw our wedding venue completed with all the florals I teared up because the space was so incredibly beautiful! Our bouquets and the ceremony arch florals were absolutely to die for.....soooooo beautiful! During the ceremony Cathy was complete angel getting all of us in order and keeping me calm. The best money I spent on our entire wedding was on C & A’s event planning services. Everytime I felt even slightly overwhelmed Ashley was there to put me on track and streamline the process. And yes, even the most organized, “type A” person can get overwhelmed with wedding planning. Ashley took care of everything in the months leading up to our wedding, subtly nudging when needed, and Cathy ran the show as our day-of coordinator. Our families loved Cathy and mentioned to me how calm she was on a very chaotic day (note to future brides/grooms: keep that rain plan handy). Everything was totally seamless, I passed off to Ashley and Cathy a box for our decor, ceremony and random elements, everything was elegantly displayed and where it should have been. I can’t imagine having taken care of all those details myself. Ashley and Cathy also took care of my flowers and they were stunning. I really didn’t know what I wanted. I sent Ashley a few Pinterest images, and she sent me a quote the next day. Super easy and the flowers were just what I had in mind but couldn’t articulate. They were gorgeous and fit our aesthetic perfectly (abundance, but not audacious). They even explained how to keep the air plant as a souvenir and it now sits in a globe in our living room. Give yourself a wedding present and hire Ashley and Cathy, they’re kind people who are great at their jobs.

C & A Event Planning made our wedding beautiful! Not only were they accommodating with our requests and budget, but they made everything look even better than we had hoped it would! They even perfectly hung the fabric for our arbor!

Ashley and Cathy helped with day-of wedding planning & floral design for my wedding that happened not even a month ago at Gilbertsville Farmhouse, NY. The whole process was so incredibly pleasant. Despite them having many projects going on at the same time, both Ashley & Cathy always made me feel super tucked in. There was never a lag in communication and they checked in with me along the way to assure that I was feeling good about everything. I was provided helpful materials and everything was super organized, helping me feel more calm. The actual day went over amazingly! Ashley & Cathy came the day before to drop things off at the venue & run through rehearsal and check in, and then earl the day of the wedding to helped set everything up. They right away understood my vision for the wedding and the flowers (bouquet & arbor & table settings) were EXACTLY what I imagined and dreamed of. They went so nicely with all the rental items, and they did an amazing job putting it all together. They made sure that all the additional items I brought were displayed just so, and nothing got lost, misplaced or broken. Everything was virtually flawless, and the ladies kept me calm and feeling like a queen. I loved working with C&A Event Planning and I'd recommend them to anyone who is looking to have a personal and individualized approach to wedding planning. They truly go above and beyond what is expected.

We used C & A Event Planning for site design, day of coordination and floral design. I can’t say enough good things about Ashley and Cathy! Without them, I don’t think we would have been able to pull off our outdoor wedding! We were not your typical couple or venue. Our wedding location was on my in-law’s property, and we were planning an outdoor ceremony under the pine trees with reception under a tent. We also had a 5.5-month-old, so I knew that I couldn’t do all the planning by myself with a baby! Ashley & Cathy met with us onsite early on in the planning and helped flesh out site layout and design. Over the course of many months of planning, Ashley kept me organized, on track and provided guidance while choosing my vendors, etc. For florals, my father in law grows dahlias that we wanted to use as part of our arrangements. Ashley & Cathy worked with me to come up with arrangements that utilized the dahlias and also pulled together the rustic country theme I was looking for. They came to our site the day before to cut the fresh flowers and arranged everything on site in order to ensure that the arrangements were fresh for our big day. My father in law also had a spectacular lily that just bloomed the day before our wedding, so he offered it to them to include in my bouquet. They pulled off one of the most stunning floral arrangements I could imagine (our photographer even commented on how beautiful it was!). Cathy went above and beyond when decorating under the tent as well – she used every last bit of greenery she had and decorated our pallet bar and other finishing touches that weren’t even included in our floral contract. As for the day of coordination… again, I don’t think I could have ever pulled off my vision without Ashley and Cathy. When we woke up on the day of our wedding it was gray and pouring rain. Ashley and Cathy remained calm and got to work in decorating the tent and ceremony site. They were ready to use plan B (everything under the tent) if the weather didn’t cooperate. However, the weather miraculously shifted and the day ended up being beautiful and sunny just in time for the 4 pm outdoor ceremony under the pines. Ashley and Cathy worked all day in the messy weather preparing the site and then continued to help ensure the ceremony and reception ran smoothly. We had so many compliments from guests on how beautiful everything looked and how smoothly everything went. I can’t thank Ashley and Cathy enough for helping to bring the vision I had for my wedding day to life. It was a magical day!

Words can't express my love for C & A Event Planning. Ashley is an amazing florist and wedding planner! As a wedding photographer, I love getting to work with her because I know the florals will be gorgeous and the day will run smoothly. Her attention to detail and love for her client's shows in everything she does, never leaving anything unturned. We had the amazing pleasure of working with Ashley and Cathy this past June 2018, and their hard work and attention to detail was a huge reason why our wedding was such a success! Since our venue was outdoors and we had to hire all of our vendors separately, there was a lot to coordinate and to plan for. We were relying on our family for a lot of support in the planning process, but we knew that as the wedding approached we did not want our family to be stressed out on the big day- that’s where Ashley and Cathy came in! From the moment we started working with them, Ashley and Cathy were kind, patient, creative, and professional about every detail. We met with Cathy several months before the wedding to go over details, and she put our minds at ease as she shared her wisdom and knowledge from her almost 30 years in the event industry! We had several phone conversations with Ashley throughout the whole process, and she made a huge effort to learn about and understand our aesthetic and vision for the day- which she executed perfectly in ways that were better than we could have ever imagined. In addition to being available and responsive to all of our ideas, questions, and concerns leading up to the wedding, Ashley and Cathy came out to our venue the day before to go over any last-minute details and rehearsals. Again, they put our minds at ease as they handled all of our anxiety-driven questions and concerns with the utmost patience, organization, and attention to detail. On the day of the wedding, Ashley and Cathy handled everything from directing guests, managing the catering staff, setting up table decorations, and facilitating the timeline of the ceremony and reception. We did not have to worry or stress about a single thing the whole day! And if any of us had a question or concern, Ashley and Cathy were there to handle it in a way that appeared effortless! They truly were wonderful to work with from start to finish, and I would recommend their services to anyone looking for wedding coordinators who are fun, kind, patient, creative, passionate, talented, and organized!

Ashley and Cathy were so great to work with for our wedding. Our main communication and planning was with Ashley. From the beginning, she was personable, friendly, and put our minds at ease in the day-of coordination of our wedding. Our wedding wasn’t “traditional” in that we hosted it on our own property. Ashley never hesitated with any of the planning and was full of referrals when we didn’t know where to look. It was great to have a friendly and professional team there to work our wedding day. They went above and beyond when another vendor we paid extra to do extra work, slacked off the day of the wedding. She didn’t bother us with these details during our wedding, she just handled it on her own so we could just enjoy our day! She sent a follow up e-mail after the wedding where we were able to handle the situation appropriately. Ashley and her mom Cathy were so great! We’re still receiving compliments on how smoothly our day ran and how it was the best organized wedding people had been to – and we have Ashley and Cathy to thank for that!

We used C & A Event Planning for day-of coordination and florals. Ashley was always extremely responsive to my emails and very helpful. In the beginning of the process, she would check in every now and then to see where I was at and to give vendor recommendations, which was nice. In December, we decided to move our date up almost an entire year and it wasn't a problem at all (other than us making sure we chose a date they were available for)! Ashley went right into it to make sure we were on track with our new date. The week before the wedding, she independently contacted all of my vendors to check in with them and make sure we were all on the same page. All the mundane, trivial information I emailed her or put in our shared Google folder had been read and formatted nicely. I never had a doubt that she knew what my vision was and how everything would work together. The day of could not have gone smoother. The hiccups that I was aware of (somehow we managed to lose the table numbers and some votives, oh well!) were small and Cathy & Ashley figured out solutions quickly. We were barely ever bothered by them during the day so we were able to enjoy our wedding, which in the end is what we hired them for! The florals were absolutely beautiful and exactly what I imagined. Our color scheme was "colorful" which I was afraid would backfire but everything was so cohesive and gorgeous!

We utilized C & A for day of wedding coordination and florals. I can't recommend them enough for both services! For wedding coordination, Ashley would email me weekly checking in and sent reminders for things that needed to be done. Whenever I had questions or concerns, Ashley would respond promptly with answers and solutions. However silly I felt asking a question, she was helpful. We did a walk through, which helped with a lot of logistics I didn't even think of. They offered suggestions based on their previous experiences with the venue. The day before they came to rehearsal, and though I was stressed out, they reminded me to breathe, relax, and they'd handle the rest. This is exactly what I needed! The day of they came for set up (everything was exactly how I envisioned it), their attention to detail is impeccable. Everything seemed to run smoothly, and if any hiccups happened, they handled it! For florals, I sent Ashley some pins from Pinterest with bouquets and centerpieces that I liked. I also sent her my bridesmaid's dresses because they were floral and I wanted to compliment them. Based on those, Ashley sent me some flowers, which were perfect. She included snapdragons, which brought back childhood memories and I would have never thought of including. The florals in person were more beautiful than what I had pinned and imagined. We received so many compliments on the centerpieces, floral crowns, bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages. I was hesitant a first to hire a wedding coordinator, but honestly, I don't know what I would have done without C &A! We appreciate how they made our day everything we wanted it to be!

There is so much to say about this mother-daughter duo and what they did for us that I simply can't express in a limited review. My only regret in my entire wedding was not finding them sooner to help me plan. We utilized Ashley and Cathy's services for wedding coordination (incl. day of setup) as well as floral decor. We will also be working together soon, I hope, regarding wedding blog submission once my photos are in! The coordination that they provided was absolutely worth every penny! They were so accommodating and helpful considering being an out of town bride and helped me with pulling all my prior planning together and making sure the day ran smoothly. The owner of our venue turned out to be a very unprofessional person last minute leading up to the wedding (very much so just a week before!) and tried very hard to NOT work with C&A out of his pride and ego issues, but both of them remained professional themselves and helped me get through the various issues with the venue owner, taking care of things so I would not have to stress so much over the problems. They were like guardian angels to making sure my now husband and I had a perfect day no matter what the venue owner tried to do and our wedding day couldn't have been more perfect thanks to the both of them!! They also helped tremendously with the logistics of decor drop off and did the day of setup, which was amazing and I am still so thankful for! I couldn't have pulled all that off without them :) As for the florals, they were breathtaking and beautiful. The greenery was exactly as I imagined it and the flowers utilized throughout the decor fit perfectly with our colors and theme. I LOVED my flower crown and it lasted all evening! Everything was presented to us in a visual estimate utilizing pinterest photos that I found floral inspiration in, which was super helpful. I would work with C&A again in a heartbeat and I would absolutely recommend their services!!!

We could not have planned our wedding without C&A Event Planning. Ashley was an incredible resource to us every step of the way, especially as we planned our wedding from across the country. We hired C&A Event Planning to do our day-of coordination as well as our florals. Ashley’s incredible professionalism and organization were apparent as soon as we started working together and you could not find two kinder, warmer women than Ashley and her mother. Just perfect!!!!! Everything C&A Event Planning did was just perfect!!!! there where a few last minute things and they accommodated us with our batting an eye. Could not have asked for more picture perfect flowers for our wedding!!! Ashley was just so kind and patient with us, we only sort of knew what we wanted and knew for sure what we didn't want. She talked us through what would work together, what wouldn't and really could not have been more helpful!!! Thank you!!

C&A Event planning helped us put on an amazing wedding last August in Gilbertsville, NY. We worked primarily with Ashley - she was very easy to talk to, responsive, and helpful with any questions we had about the planning or the day itself. We worked with Ashley to arrange a timeline for the day, confirm vendors, and coordinate everything on the day of. It was very nice to have someone there to make the say go smoothly so we didn't have to deal with anything. There were one or two minor hiccups (hair dressers showed up way early at 8am, and cake as missing flowers) but little things are to be expected, and overall the day went off without a hitch. Ashley and her team were very professional and dealt with anything that came up, and they made sure they ran important decisions by me. They also did all the florals for the event. I cannot say enough about the florals and the design --- they were more beautiful than I could have imagined, and we got so many compliments on them. Truly they were a work of art - and I'm not even a flower person. I would highly recommend C&A - they did an excellent job coordinating and putting together stunning flowers. I have so many amazing things to say about C&A Event Planning that I don’t even know where to begin! Ashley and Cathy are truly a dynamic duo! Together, they have created a company that, I believe, is truly unique from other wedding planners in Upstate New York. I found out about this team through my photographers. I am so glad we decided to book them. My wedding day was so stress-free. If they had questions about decor or sequence of events, they either came straight to me or asked my husband. They were a delight to work with and were present for our rehearsal. I used C & A events to cordinate my wedding and they were fabulous! They helped make my wedding everything that I wanted! We spent months planning our dream wedding and on the day of we wanted to relax and just enjoy it.
