Cakeheads Bakery makes fantastic cakes and desserts! Everything was extremely fresh when it arrived and looking fabulous. We did a cutting cake as well as a dessert bar with cupcakes, whoopie pies, and bars, and everyone really enjoyed the variety. The cake was moist and the frosting had a great flavor without being overly sweet. I would absolutely use & recommend Cakeheads again in the future for another event!

Our wedding cake was beautiful and just what we were hoping for. It looked great and tasted great. We received so many compliments from our guests on both the appearance and flavor. The cake was delivered on time and Cakeheads was very easy to work with. We would highly recommend to anyone.

Our cake was fabulous. We had a certain picture in mind and they created it to be exact. The cake is fresh and delicious. I highly recommend and will be using the Again in the future.

I was so impressed how Cakeheads Bakery brought my vision to life! I was so happy with the way my cake looked and tasted! Two weeks later, my guests are still talking about how beautiful and delicious it was!

Pretty plain and simple... Our cupcakes were beautiful and exactly what we wanted. We had a small cake for just my Husband and I that was beautiful. Everything tasted PHENOMENAL!!!! Service, delivery, and setup was perfect. You can't get any better than Cakeheads!!!

Cakeheads Bakery was so amazing! We ordered our wedding cake with their signature flavor which was yellow cake with a layer of passion fruit mousse and raspberry preserves then another layer of cake with butter-cream frosting. So amazingly delicious, then we also ordered five different flavors of cupcakes. For the groom's cupcakes they made us chocolate cupcakes with green Kermit the frog faces, super adorable since we love Kermit! They delivered our cake and 5 different cupcake styles to the venue and set them up. Use this bakery, you will not be sorry!!

I am an extremely analytical person therefore I researched all of my wedding vendors for months. After meeting with Rosa & Alyssa at Cakeheads and tasting their cake, I was sold. I read a few negative reviews about them, but I can assure you that their service, quality & friendliness are stellar. I planned my wedding from a distance and they were so great about communicating via email & phone calls. I sent them pinterest pictures of the cake I wanted and they were quick to return emails, phone calls etc. Not only were they an excellent company to do business with because of semantics but OMG, their cake is truly, hands down, the best cake I have ever tasted. I was actually quite upset that we did not have leftovers the next day (we ordered PLENTY for our guests). I heard people were going back for 2nds & 3rds. Not only did the cake taste amazing, it was delivered on time (to a mountain venue) and looked absolutely beautiful. Do not hesitate to hire them, you will not regret it! Just make sure to order extras because your guests will love it! ;)

I am pretty picky when it comes to the details in things, but they were very accommodating to what I was looking for in the wedding cake. I always felt very relaxed and comfortable when talking with them and the sketch they put together fit what I was looking for. Not only was the design perfect, but the cake tasted amazing. We chose to do red velvet with a cream cheese filling on 2 tiers and a marble cake with a chocolate and raspberry filling. I was so happy with the way they everything turned out for the wedding.

One of the reasons I chose Cakeheads for our wedding cake was their wider selection of cake flavors. For our fall wedding, I wanted to try pumpkin cake (my fave), and they were one of the only vendors that I was able to find with fall flavors available for tasting outside of the fall season. We ended up going with both the pumpkin cake and spice cake with a maple buttercream frosting. It was delicious! The reason I rated them down on service was because I sometimes felt that they were not communicating with me very quickly. I was told when we booked them that I would receive a sketch of my cake soon, and did not receive one until a couple months later when I reminded them. Although the final product was beautiful, I do not think that much effort was put into the sketch. Also, the cake cost a little more than we had wanted to spend. Still, at the end of the day, I would recommend this vendor.

Brad and his staff at Cakeheads Bakery were phenomenal!! We took them a concept that they had never done before, and they took it in and did way more than we could have imagined with it!

Sometimes the cake looks amazing but doesn't taste amazing....THIS WAS PERFECT ALL THE WAY AROUND. They were helpful from begining to end. And above all they delivered a beautiful cake for our wedding.

I was coming in from out of town and was only in Colorado for the weekend. All the other bakeries I called said they only did tastings during the week days and couldn't possibly do a tasting during the weekend (I get it, they spend most of their time delievering cakes on the weekends, but still). Cakeheads was much more flexible and fit us in for a tasting the same day. The cake had great texture and flavor and was very reasonably priced. They even made us white chocolate sea shells for our beach themed cake and delivered the cake for free to our reception site since it was fairly close by. We chose red velvet and pumpkin spice for our cake flavors and they cake was sooo good. Worth every penny and beautifully decorated.

I went in with a great plan and pictures and a sample of ribbon to match my colors. The person that I dealt with initialy told me that thered be no problem getting me the cake that I wanted. Fast forward to wedding day... The color was wrong, there werent as many flowers as I was told that there was going to be and when we cut into the cake the flavor was wrong. The owner, when notified, made excuses. I paid almost more than double per slice to ensure that I would get the cake I wanted. He told me that I was overcharged. YOU THINK? I will never use this bakery again and recomend that no other bride use them!!

I went to a ton of bakeries and no ones cakes tasted like theirs! We did a grooms cake as well as the wedding cake, they were both amazing! My wedding cake looked just like the picture that I sent them (even better)!

All I kept hearing and still hear is just how good our cake was. They say that people remember 2 things from a wedding, the food and the cake and our cake is well remembered as well as revered! It was not only gorgeous and completely personal but it was so fresh it was unbelievable. Not to mention our grooms cake which was beyond description - down to the edible photo of our dog to make it THAT much more personal. I truly will never use another bakery again for a cake. Not when their cake is THIS delicious and well made.

My husband and I had a great time cake tasting, very good cake and the staff was very friendly. We had a bunch of ideas but unfortunately our ideas were expensive, so we picked a cake from their photo book and made it our own. We thought for how big the cake was it was a little expensive but going off the taste it was worth every penny. Thanks, Jeremy & Kjirsten Andrews

The cake was good. Delicious, excellent flavor. The design was over the top, when I wanted simple. I did a cake bar, they ignored the fact that I wanted an "off kilter" cake walk/cake potluck kind of look where all the cakes would look alike design wise but would be different sizes and shapes, but didn't tell me they were changing that. They changed the groom flavor square cake that should have some red on it with a minimum of fondant to the center cake (the only one that ended up being square AT ALL, even though HALF should have been square)and COVERED THE WHOLE CAKE WITH BRIGHT RED FONDANT, when red was only a minimal accent color for my reception. This was the only layered cake and the cutting cake for my wedding, the one for my groom, and the one for us to cut into for pictures. I hate the pictures of my cake table because of the big red cake in the center, even though the rest of the table looks fine, even if over designed. Finally, they made one of the smallest cakes their "best selling flavor" and the only chocolate one I picked....Does that even make any sense? I even called while they were supposedly working on my cakes because they never sent me the design drawings---which we had verbally agreed to--- and none of these changes were mentioned. I was told they were being completed to the specifications of my meeting. When I made any complaints, they "reminded me" that they were willing to complete my cake order only a month before the wedding, although they usually require an earlier reservation. They never treated this like a problem, until they made bad choices. Bottom line: I would not recommend them or hire them again--even for a not the "last minute" order, they don't seem to be up with current wedding themes and their back design staff doesn't seem to communicate well with front selling staff.

Our cake was gorgeous and so good! Normally I'm not a frosting person but theirs is fantastic. Their cake is super moist, plus I love that they have some really unique flavors. And we get a new cake top on our anniversary as part of the deal so we don't have to eat year old cake!

I had read some reviews about this bakery so decided to go with them. Their cakes look great and they seem to be a good bakery. I decided not to go through them after awhile, though. There is a $500 minimum on their cakes - which doesn't seem fair if you are having a very small wedding and don't need a big cake. I gave this shop 3 stars, though, because from my experience, the customer service was poor. For all decisions, you have to go through the owner and it was hard to contact him and he never returned my phone calls. The quality of their cakes seem to be good though if that's all you're looking for. I prefer to spend my money on good quality and good service.
