ned a wedding on our own property in Longmont, CO which required, essentially, building a wedding venue from the ground up. This brought many unique challenges that Kelly took on with us and helped us problem solve to ensure we were able to make it happen. She helped us put together an incredible team of local Longmont vendors from portable toilets and generators, to trolley transportation and ice cream trucks; every idea or dream we had, she helped us make it reality! We had zero worries going into the last couple weeks prior to the wedding. Not only did Kelly help with the day of coordination, she went above and beyond to help us with our rehearsal dinner and welcome party the night before. She was available to us all weekend long, anything we needed she was there to help. The day of the wedding, Kelly and her team (Emily and Yolanda) were everywhere we needed them to be. Kelly’s calm and collected demeanor was the perfect attitude we needed that day. Kelly was a total boss, communicating and organizing all the vendors, keeping everything and everyone in line, all with a huge smile on her face. After a mishap with my veil, Emily even drove all the way back to Boulder to pick it up for me, just in time for the ceremony to start! To say Calico goes above and beyond is an understatement. Kelly was so responsive, organized, easy to talk to, calming, positive, and truly became a lifelong friend to us throughout this process. We absolutely loved working with Kelly and the entire Calico team. We could not recommend them enough!

We were paired with Alyssa as our day-of coordinator, whose responsibilities were far beyond wedding day. She was an excellent communicator with my husband and I and all of our vendors. Any little thing I needed on wedding day, Alyssa was there to take care of. answer my millions of questions, make helpful suggestions, and gather ALL the information to make sure she was completely in-sync with our vision. She did such a wonderful job of validating and reassuring us when we had to make some difficult "non-traditional" decisions reminding us that it was OUR day and we really should do whatever we wanted to. She never inserted her own opinions, just made helpful suggestions, and provided a very helpful perspective to the ideas we had. The one moment that I think exemplifies just how quick thinking, supportive, and completely ready to help she was, was when one of the groomsmen accidentally yanked my veil out giving me a hug. We had to get pictures done and without missing a beat, Alyssa pulled her own bobby pins out of her hair and handed them to my bridesmaids to get it put back in. Zero disruption to the timeline, and honestly so funny. We were both completely relaxed and able to enjoy every moment of our day because we trusted Alyssa to do ALL of the thinking for us. I joked that she had my brain for the day, but really- she did.

Ashley provided a vendor list for the area. We used these vendors and all were A+. She and Kelly coordinated deliveries, changes and timelines with the vendors. They kept in touch through conference calls and e-mails. They organized and participated in venue walkthrough. As the mother of the bride, I had the utmost confidence that things would run smoothly. We arrived three days before the wedding and everything was ready. The wedding went well even with unexpected snow! I am 100% pleased with everything they did.

As much as we wanted to get married, we didn't really know what we were doing when it came to smaller, behind-the-scene details, but they assisted us with all that. On the day of the wedding, they were super helpful with set up in a short time frame, helping me with my veil that wasn't cooperating, and bustling my dress (especially when I didn't remember how my seamstress told me how to do it haha). I cannot recommend them enough. They are not only super professional, but really kind individuals. I could tell they were genuinely happy for us and wanted to give us our dream day, which they certainly achieved.
