Calla made our wedding so special! Good food is very special to both of our families, so it was important to us that we found a vendor whose food was fun and joyful. After our tasting we knew we'd found the right vendor (the braised chicken is a MUST). In addition to providing an amazing menu for the buffet and passed appetizers, they worked with us to add some special touches that made the wedding feel more unique to us (hot apple cider for our outdoor ceremony in November, apple cider donuts for dessert, a boozy coffee bar after dessert, etc.) All of our guests raved about the food, including those with dietary restrictions, who Calla catered to and provided options that were just as good as the buffet. An added hurdle is that our wedding was at a venue without a kitchen, so Calla brought in their own cooking equipment. They also helped us rent tables, chairs, linens, cutlery, etc. It was such a relief to work with one vendor for so many different checklist items. We worked with co-owner Kim Livesey as our Day-Of Coordinator, and it was a phenomenal decision. We spend hours on phone calls picking out linens, rearranging table set-ups, and making a plan for the decor. With her team, she set and up and tore down all of our decor, so all we had to do was transport it to and from the venue. We are so grateful for their team!

Planning a wedding isn't easy, let alone from 3,000 miles away. But Calla made our experience an absolute breeze and a dream come true! To start, Calla's food is INCREDIBLE - from the passed apps at cocktail hour to the plated dinner service, every bite was magical. In the weeks and months leading up to the wedding, the Calla team was communicative and made sure every detail was accounted for. Adding their day-of coordinator services was the best decision we made - Kim made everything run seamlessly on the day. There was a chance of rain on our wedding day, and she made sure we had the perfect backup plan in place so we didn't need to stress. Calla is the best in the business - hire them!

Calla was absolutely amazing! From the start it was clear they were professional, organized, and cared about making sure they deliver the best result, and they did. The whole process with the Calla team was easy, never an issue, and best of all the food was absolutely amazing! We are still having people tell us how much they loved the food at our wedding. Calla Catering was absolutely flawless! I am so thankful for Linda & Kim for helping me organize and plan our wedding. From the initial phone call inquiring about their services, to the tasting, to the wedding itself, everything was run so smoothly. Francesco is a great chef and the food was a big hit at our wedding. We had a buffet style dinner with a plated salad, and everybody loved their food. We opted to spend extra money to use their day of coordinating and rehearsal ceremony help, and I am so glad we did!!! Linda was truly a dream and helped keep everything going and helped me feel at ease through the entire process. One of the things I love about calla catering is their attention to detail and consistent communication. Like many brides, I sent so many emails and always heard back in a timely manner. Both Linda and Kim truly love what they do, and they are fabulous!! I highly recommend Calla Catering for any event! It was extremely easy planning our big day with their expertise. Definitely worth inquiring about, doesn’t matter how big or small your event… they are the best choice out there!

Calla was magnificent for our wedding. We had to postpone twice due to Covid and Linda and Kim were so supportive. They truly helped make our experience seamless. I felt so supported as a bride and they were so flexible and helpful. The day of was EXCEPTIONAL to say the least. Our guests raved about the food and service. Calla Catering did a phenomenal job for my wedding. 2021 was a big year - I graduated from veterinary school, started a new job, did major renos inside and outside of our home, planned a large wedding in our backyard (~150 guests), and had the most phenomenal wedding day. We were on a budget and I would have LOVED to have been able to afford a wedding planner (and general contractor, and interior designer, and landscaper, and the like!), but my husband and I did everything ourselves. My wedding day was absolutely perfect and would not have been possible without the help of Kim, Francesco, Linda, and the staff of Calla Catering. Linda did an outstanding job with helping to plan my special day (cocktail hour, dinner, dessert, table linens, plates, utensils, tables, chairs, and the list goes on) and stay within my budget. Kim helped immensely with regards to coordination and keeping us on a timeline the day of. The days leading up to my perfect day and the hours prior to the ceremony were emotional and stressful - I very much appreciated Kim meeting me with my first beverage immediately after the ceremony and giving us a plate of appetizers before pictures. And the food! I had so many people tell me that we had the best wedding food they’d ever had. Numerous guests all said the same thing. Francesco set up his whole operation behind our house - the food and timing was impeccable. And the service! All of the waitstaff and bartenders were outstanding. Friends and family were talking about our wedding and reception for weeks afterwards. I would highly recommend Calla Catering to anyone.

We loved our experience with Calla from our tasting through our big day. Everyone was talking about how good the apps were! They were very responsive throughout the process and open to changes. They have a very organized system and are clear professionals in the field. The staff on our wedding day were very nice and attentive. They pivoted quickly when we decided to do a receiving line last minute while walking back to the house - bringing apps and drinks to our guests as they waited in line. We would recommend you hire Calla, you won't regret it!!

Kim and the entire Calla team were instrumental in making our wedding day incredible! They were organized, professional, helpful, and basically indispensable. The food was delicious, and with Kim at the helm coordinating this anxious bride could actually relax and enjoy the day. Everything went smoothly, everything was on time, and as far as I'm concerned, it was perfect. Their communication leading up to the wedding made me confident the big day would go as planned. I can't recommend Calla highly enough!

We are so glad that we chose Calla for our wedding. Linda, Kim, and the entire team were so helpful, responsive, and excited to work with us! Calla was able to help us execute our vision flawlessly (we are two designers- the vision was specific!), and was so helpful with all the logistics, between furniture rentals, vendor coordination, and day of coordination. Not to mention, Francesco’s food is absolutely delicious! Many of our guests told us that their dinners and apps were the best that they had ever had at a wedding. We also appreciated the little touches so much- Calla sent us home with extra desserts at the end of the night, and brought us our own little plate of apps and cocktails during our photos, so we could have a chance to eat them. We truly cannot recommend them enough!

We used Calla Catering for our wedding this winter and could not be happier with the food and services. They were a true pleasure to work with and so flexible about all the changes to our wedding due to covid. The food and service were both phenomenal, everyone at the wedding kept telling us it was the the best food they’ve had at a wedding. Calla Catering is simply the best. My husband and I hired them for our wedding. They have been so wonderful, professional and detail oriented since day one. I have a lot of food allergies and they were able to accommodate for all of them. This meant changing certain ingredients to ensure each dish was delicious and something everyone could eat. My guests RAVED about the food and are still talking about it months later. We paid extra to have the day of coordinator and it was worth every penny! We are so happy that we chose Calla to cater our wedding in August 2021. They were extremely responsive from the very beginning and were very flexible, allowing us to easily get a quote for exactly the service we were looking for as well as rental service for linens and everything else we needed. On the day of the wedding the event staff was professional and courteous and the food was exception from the passed hors d'oeuvres to the dessert. We fully recommend Calla for their exceptional wedding catering services.

We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding - it was seriously a dream come true & that is all thanks to Calla Catering! My husband & I both loved to eat delicious, well made food, & we wanted that to be a huge factor in our wedding day. It was no question that we had to have Calla Catering for this reason! We love that they focus on fresh & seasonal, & our menu absolutely reflected that! Guests could not stop raving about the entire menu the whole night! Before our Ceremony, Calla Catering made an incredible hot mulled apple cider (our guests loved it since it was a bit chilly, & we had an outdoor ceremony!). Cocktail Hour, we had a plentiful charcuterie display & hand passed appetizers: Buffalo Chicken Wontons (a MUST HAVE!), Seared Beef Tenderloin Crostini, Three Cheese & Walnut Stuffed Mushrooms (incredible!!!), Arancini, & Sweet & Sour Fried Cauliflower (crowd favorite!). When guests came in for dinner, we started with bread & the Roasted Butternut Squash Salad. It was almost too pretty to eat & it tasted amazing, too! We offered our guests Slow Braised Short Ribs (it was SO delicious & definitely a comfort food!), Roasted Salmon with a Maple Apple Cider Glaze (yum!), & Vegan Stuffed Peppers, all served with mashed potatoes & a root vegetable medley. I swear, every single plate was cleared! We had so many guests complimenting the food & they all mentioned how impressed they were that the food came out HOT on the plate! With everything that was going on that day - pictures, visiting with family and friends, soaking in the day - I loved that the team made sure we ate. We had a platter of our appetizers brought to us during formal photos & during dinner, the team constantly checked in on us to make sure we were enjoying ourselves & even boxed up the rest of my meal for me to enjoy when I got back to my hotel! They also made sure to box up some of our desserts for us, too! Outside of the food, Calla Catering played a huge part in our day! They helped us coordinate our rental items, came to a site visit at our venue since they had never been there before (our venue had a lot of rules & documents they required from the caterer in order to work there - NO PROBLEM, Calla helped guide us & made sure everything was submitted!). They arrived the day of, set up everything exactly how I had envisioned it, & they really made sure that I didn’t have to worry about a thing! Even my vendors raved about the dinner they enjoyed from Calla Catering! They all mentioned how much they loved working with the team! During the night, I kept looking around seeing how full guests waters were, how clean the tables looked, how the staff just never stopped moving! I really felt like my goal was accomplished: to make our friends and family feel TREATED! At the end of the night, they stayed at the venue after my husband & I left and cleaned up everything! After being up since 7am to get hair & make up done, it was such a relief to know that they were tying up all of the loose ends & making sure that everything at the venue was squared away! That was such a huge help & relief off of my shoulders! Calla Catering made a HUGE impact on our wedding! We are so, so glad we had them be a part of our day! I know we will never forget how special it was because of their hard work & delicious food. If you want to have your wedding be a stand-out event, there is no contest - Calla Catering has to be there!

We were so lucky to find Calla for our wedding. We had a small wedding (around 50 guests) and wanted breakfast for dinner, and the Calla team was all for it! From the very beginning, Linda was responsive and professional - one of the few caterers I spoke to that called when she said she would and returned emails in timely manner. Our tasting was a dream and they were so flexible with our vision, even getting a waffle maker so we could have waffles! As the day got closer, Linda was there to answer my last-minute bridal questions and provide us with everything we needed. Our wedding was so perfect and I know a lot of that is due to the hard work of Linda, the Calla catering staff, and the work of their bar division, Cocktails. We also have been getting so many compliments on the food, from the main dishes down to the salad dressing! 10/10 would recommend. Thank you so much!

I highly recommend Calla Catering to anyone in search of a reliable, efficient and easy to work with catering company. Our wedding was originally scheduled for 5/24/20. In March of 2020 when the world began to shut down and it was looking less likely that our wedding would be able to occur in May Calla worked with us to ensure that we secured a new date and that every part of the procedure of changing the date vs cancelling was laid out to us. Calla was extremely transparent throughout the process and nothing but helpful. Unfortunately, our original venue was not as accommodating, and we reached a stand still in negotiating a rate to move our date to 2021. Calla was once again available to us and gave us several other venues that they work with regularly to look into as at this point my husband and I had decided it was most important to ensure that we had Calla as part of our wedding day. We wound up working with another venue they recommended, and we had a beautiful day. Calla always had prompt follow-up with me for any questions I had and was very flexible with all the changes the pandemic brought even though I am sure it was a stressful for time for them as well as us. They seamlessly changed our date not once, but twice without additional charges and even accommodated us needing to change the number of guests from over 100 to 65. In terms of the food, everyone was giving me compliments throughout the night and in the weeks following our wedding. We decided on a taco bar which was buffet style. The buffet ran smoothly which was a huge concern for me, but Calla brought their expertise and kept things moving along. We chose to have dessert through them as well and did ice cream cookie sandwiches which were also a hit with everyone! They did a wonderful job cleaning up everything as I went back to pick-up decorations the next day and everything was neatly stacked and ready to go. I truly cannot put into words how grateful I am to have found such a wonderful company to work with and would not hesitate to recommend them to all my family and friends as well as use them again in the future for other occasions. Special shout out to Linda who was always so pleasant and my primary contact through most of the coordinating stage.

We can’t express how pleased we were with Calla Catering, especially Linda. I can easily say picking them to work with was the best decision we made for our wedding. We wanted a backyard wedding from day one and knew we had to find the right company to help with set up and take down, food, bar, and all the things you forget you need that most venues have. Well they did it all and I mean EVERYTHING! When we came across them we set up a tasting, we were blown away and booked them the next day. The food was outstanding everything was fresh and perfect for a summer wedding. We chose passed appetizers, the tropical shrimp was amazing, and a buffet dinner our guest loved the food and still are taking about it. Linda was truly my life saver she helped me with so much and answered my many, many emails graciously. She was by our side the whole wedding day making sure we got to eat everything and always had a drink in our hands and or course to keep the day flowing smoothly. They handle all the rentals, drop off, setup, break-down, and permits. The food was unbelievable and we were able to completely customize our menu. The food was wonderful at our wedding thanks to Calla Catering. I loved how the options were sophisticated but yet approachable for our guests. Everyone could find an option that they enjoyed for their main entrée, and the passed hors-d'œuvre were amazing. We would highly recommend them for a wedding or any event.

Working with Calla Catering was a great way to have an all inclusive caterer to take care of wedding details and keep it in one place! We opted to utilize a venue as almost an upscale backyard wedding and it really helped to have someone who could organize everything from table and chair rentals, to the bar, and even event staffing. This also made it easy for us to include gratuity and just ultimately limit our headaches for the day! Also- the Chicken Picatta is a MUST have! With any small business, there are always areas of growth that are helpful to note. Calla is a small company with staffing being both behind the scenes and day of coordination. This means that in their peak busy time, communication was a bit more challenging. At times I did wish for a bit more communication and information about options. For example, for in house linens I was not given any images to select from but rather asked "what color do you want?" As any couple planning a wedding knows, pink can mean different shades all together. Eventually, I was able to get a mock photo of the table set up and all was well. Don't be afraid to ask early on in the process to see all of your options! Overall, we had a great day and a pretty smooth planning process! If you are an engaged couple that is organized, likes to be creative with planning, and really makes the wedding your own, Calla is a great caterer for you! Calla is also great with creative venues that will bring a wedding to life!

From start to finish Calla Catering and Events LLC was top notch! They made planning our wedding day seamless and all of the staff members from Calla Catering that we worked with were outstanding. Our guests raved about our food and we had no stress as it relates to the set-up and breakdown of our event. All of the behind the scenes went unnoticed and the quality of their work was exceptional. Kim and Linda were so wonderful to work with. I get nervous about everything and they were so reassuring. We not only had them catered our wedding but also decide on the Day-of Coordination. So glad we did, this left us stressed-free on our wedding day! The Taco bar was such a hit. I can't wait to use them again for our next event.

GOD BLESS Calla Catering! We had the most magical wedding in every single way and it exceeded our expectations and any dream we had of what the day/ weekend would look like. They were the most flexible vendor during COVID and worked with us through every COVID guideline change and postponing our wedding. After our wedding everyone kept asking us who our caterer was because the food was SO fantastic and creative. They made the plates and signs look so pretty that all of our friends instagrammed it! They worked with our guests complicated food allergies and our likes and dislikes and came up with the most delicious, beautiful, and unique plates. Down to the extravagant tasting they held in our wedding theme for our whole family, they didn't miss any tiny little detail throughout the whole experience. I could not recommend them highly enough.

The best decision of our wedding was Calla. The entire process was seamless and stress free. Hire Blair for your day of coordinator/planner. Calla Catering made our backyard wedding the most perfect (and delicious) wedding we could have asked for! We worked with Linda to design the perfect menu and timeline for our event. She was so sweet and helpful through the whole process, and helped keep us on schedule the day of. The food was absolutely delicious, from the appetizers to the main courses. The braised short rib sliders were a huge hit, and guests were saying the slow braised chicken was some of the best chicken they've ever had! 10/10 would recommend Calla to anyone!

My bridesmaids selected Calla Catering to cater my bridal shower last weekend - such an amazing choice! Although I was not there for the dropoff portion, the setup was perfect (they even included food signs that went with our theme!!) We did a brunch - mini parfaits, fruit salad, the MOST AMAZING french toast bake, frittatta, bacon, sausage.. everyone was raving about the food. We also had leftovers that were just as delicious the day after. I would highly recommend this company for catering needs, and am excited to use them again in the future!!

Calla, and Linda especially, were incredible to work with when planning our recent bridal shower. Linda was incredibly responsive and easy to work with, and was super flexible with defining final headcount as people waited to RSVP due to COVID. They offered a great suggestions for planning the menu and thoughtful touches. Linda even matched the food labels to our theme and printed a special menu to match the favors that the bride could keep. Everyone could not stop raving about the food, especially the french toast bake! Calla Catering truly helped make the shower such a special day! Can't wait to work with them again in the future!

I genuinely cannot say enough good things about Calla Catering. Not only was my food absolutely delicious, the whole process from start to finish went seamlessly. Planning a wedding in the midst of a pandemic is not easy, and I feel like I was changing things every other day but they were more than accomodating and willing to work with me. And on the day of the wedding, their staff was amazing and so professional. They took care of the set up, the buffet service, and everything in between. Definately reccomend them for your catering needs for any event, esp a wedding!

Kim and the entire crew at Calla Catering made my outdoor wedding extra classy! Due to covid my husband and I decide to get married with only 5 weeks to plan. I cannot rave enough about how Kim Livesey took me under her wing, kept me calm, and helped me plan the perfect box lunch! A scrumptious 5 course meal, in individual coolers that were personalized! My husband and I had our wedding on October 17, 2020, at Thayer Homestead in Medway, Ma. We can not recommend Calla Catering enough! Our friends and family are still raving about all the food and desserts! We had a buffet with the most delicious seasonal menu that Linda made extremely customizable so that we could stay within our budget. We were served four varieties of hors d’oeuvres, buffalo chicken wontons (MUST HAVE), spicy beef empanadas, seared shrimp, and sweet & sour cauliflower. Everything was so mouthwateringly delicious that I want to throw myself another party just to have these appetizers again! Our dinner menu consisted of roasted pork tenderloin, slow-braised chicken, butternut squash ravioli (ANOTHER AMAZING CHOICE), herb roasted potatoes, roasted root vegetables, and a crisp apple salad. The food in itself was so amazing that I will definitely be hiring Calla Catering again for any other events I need to be catered to. From the very beginning, Linda and her very talented team at Calla Catering were amazing. Everyone was extremely professional, easy to work with, and super friendly and polite. Being a crazy COVID bride, it was great knowing I could always reach Linda with any questions or concerns. We chose to work with them and their partners for our linens and rentals as well. Calla worked alongside our wonderful day-of-coordinator, Blair Mtchem in setting all of these details up for us. When the big day finally came, the venue looked amazing. Everything from the way they set the guest tables and buffet tables, to the way the food and dessert displays were, looked beautiful. Calla Catering went above and beyond to accommodate not only my husband and I but all of our family members. Having a wedding during covid was not easy and we compromised on almost everything so we could keep our day. Calla followed every guideline and took every precaution while giving us the most perfect day. They really made us feel so special and safe. We are so glad we chose Calla! Our wedding was significantly impacted by COVID and Calla was an absolute dream to work with. They were so supportive and responsive the whole time. We ended up reworking our menu, guest list, location, everything. They rolled with everything and ended up putting on a stunning event. Cava Catering was an outstanding catering company to work with for our rehearsal dinner for our sons wedding. The food, service, presentation were spectacular. Our guest kept saying it was the best rehearsal dinner food they ever had. I would use them again for any occasion. They were easy to work with. We had more than enough food for all. They took care of every detail. Again I can not say enough great things about them!

We absolutely loved working with Kim at Cava Catering. She did an incredible job managing all the details day-of and making sure that every ran smoothly. We received so many compliments from our guests on how great the food was. They also allowed us to incorporate some personal touches which made the day that much more special. We so enjoyed working with Cava in preparation for our wedding and cannot begin to describe what an incredible job they did in helping ensure the day went smoothly. With long-distance planning, it was a struggle to feel like we had everything together but the Cava staff did anything and eveything to make sure our day went off without a hitch. Friends and family are still raving about the food! The menu and service Cava provides does not seem to be matched by the other available caterers. Our was a magical day and one we will remember always!

Hiring Kim and the team at Cava Catering to be our wedding caterer and coordinator was hands down the best wedding decision we could have made! Kim and her team were so exceptionally talented and helpful during the planning process – they worked around our limited schedules for each meeting, responded to our numerous emails with many questions, and calmed our planning nerves many times! They helped us pick out rentals and truly made our wedding vision come to life. Day of, they made sure everything went smoothly and we felt very confident going into the big day knowing they were handling it all. The food was incredible – our guests are still talking about how fun and fabulous their appetizers were during cocktail hour! They prepared us our own plate of appetizers to eat during dinner too, which was just so thoughtful since we were so busy during cocktail hour greeting everyone. Their unique and comprehensive menu allowed us to truly design a menu that felt like “us” and enjoy our favorite foods as a couple together on our wedding day. We would 100% hire Kim and Cava Catering again! I wish I could give them 10 stars.

Not only did Cava design and serve up the most delicious menu at our wedding, but they also helped to plan and coordinate all of the details so we were able to fully enjoy the big day. My (now) husband had been to a wedding last summer and thought the food was great, so when we found out it was Cava who catered and helped with coordination and planning services, we decided to work with them for our own upcoming wedding. Kim walked us through everything we needed to be thinking about, choices we needed to make, and took care to guide us along the way with options that would fit our budget. Cava helped to coordinate staffing, rentals, bar orders, set up and breakdown and worked with the venue to make sure everything ran smoothly. Even when they ran into inevitable challenges (some rentals showed up late) the Cava team worked to find impromptu solutions so that we didn’t have to worry about a thing and our timeline stayed on track. Kim was our day of coordinator and we couldn’t have done it without her! She was calm, organized, and was super on top of all the moving pieces, and made sure everyone enjoyed a seamless experience. The staff at our wedding went above and beyond to be helpful, nice, and attentive. Our guests are still telling us how much fun they had, and especially how delicious the food was! We had the bonus of getting to eat yummy leftovers for days afterwards, feeding our out of town family members as well!

We had a Sunday brunch wedding and Cava Catering was eager to help us come up with a creative menu. We heard from multiple people that the food was delicious. We also used their baker and the macaron tower & with wedding cake topper came out exactly as I had envisioned. Linda and Kim were also both very responsive to our emails throughout the entire process.

WOW, JUST WOW!!!! My husband and I had a dream backyard wedding, catered and staffed by Cava. It was so stressful to get things in order for our wedding and the easiest part was working with Cava...they held a beautiful private food tasting for us about 6 months before the big day- complete with a gorgeous presentation and a glass of wine :) On the day of our wedding, which was held at my childhood home...the friendly staff set-up quickly, cleanly (if thats a word?), and in such a stress-free manner (which is hard to do when they're workspace was in my parent's garage!!) THE FOOD Apps/Small bites were a 10/10 !! the crowd favorite was a the buffalo chicken wontons and the mini grilled cheese squares in a tomato soup shot...The staff were detail-oriented in revisiting people who had favorites in the snacks they were passing out- also, while my husband and I snuck away for a photoshoot during cocktail hour, one of the staff members brought over a beautiful tasting tray of all the appetizers for us to try (because who isn't starving after all that planning and the ceremony?!) It was so thoughtful and so insanely delicious. DINNER was beautifully displayed- steak/chicken piccata were amazing and my FAVORITE, the butternut squash ravioli YUMMM...I made sure to have my mom set aside an extra plate of the food for my husband and I to enjoy for breakfast the next day (LOL, it was that good) we went for a side of grilled veggies which were perfection..and a few other sides that all wowed our guests. The waiters were SO attentive, so helpful, and friendly, without distracting from conversation or the flow of the evening. Quick note- Kim Livesy, our on-site coordinator- was a true MVP of our day and made everything go so seamlessly! IF YOU WANT AMAZING FOOD, FRIENDLY STAFF, AND STRESS-FREE VENDOR...Choose Cava!! 10/10!!!! Thank you Cava!!!.

Where to begin with the praise? Cava Catering played probably the most instrumental role in making my wedding everything I dreamed (other than my husband and family and friends!) They really paid attention to every detail and went above and beyond. We got married in a library and a historic home -- which is not traditional -- but Kim and her team accommodated moving everything from one building to the next, directing guests, and not letting anything seem like it was stressful at all. A few things stand out: 1. Kim and Linda found me and my husband toward the end of our photo session to bring us food and ask if we wanted to extend cocktail hour to see our guests. This was so greatly appreciated! Also, Linda designed signs for the specialty drinks and desserts along with our library theme so the signs looked like library cards. We were not expecting this at all and it really makes you appreciate the special Cava touch. Throughout the whole process, Kim was attendant to our budget, our needs, and our questions about the process. All of my guests RAVED about the food, and I am so happy there were a few leftovers so I could have more to. Other than the dress, spending money on Day of Coordination was the best money I spent on this wedding! I could not have imaged a more perfect day and it's because of Cava. 1 million times recommended.

I highly recommend Cava catering. Kim helped us from the very beginning with choosing the food. They helped us with ordering all rentals, from the tables and chairs to the dishes and table clothes. They provided the bartender as well. The day of the wedding was amazing because of Cava. Kim ensured the wedding ran smoothly. The food was delicious. Our guests talked about how good the food was even after the wedding. It’s because of Kim, Linda, and the crew that I was able to plan the wedding of my dreams.

We had a great experience working with the Cava team for our wedding! After talking to several caterers we chose Cava – Kim was very easy to talk to, listened to everything we hoped for our day, and gave us great confidence. The tasting session clinched the deal for us – the whole menu was delicious and beautifully presented! As we planned our wedding, Kim was an awesome resource – her wealth of experience and attention to detail was incredibly valuable to us. We had many special requests for the day, and we really appreciated the way Cava worked to meet them all and offered us helpful advice wherever possible. We had a largely DIY venue, and planned much of the day ourselves, with help from family and friends. Cava’s professionalism and organization made the whole day run smoothly, and we had nothing but compliments on the quality of the food. We can highly recommend Cava as a fantastic team for your wedding day!

Cava Catering provided the food catering services for our July wedding celebration. Kim and the team were spectacular from the start. They were very friendly and accommodating – helping us choose food options, sourcing food locally, and being very mindful of our budget. We requested tabled and passed hors d’oeuvres rather than the traditional full meals and Kim helped us decided on the right amount and flow for the night. The day of party they were completely independent allowing us to focus on our guests and the celebration. We had so many compliments from our party guests on the food. Especially the mezze platter (which was overflowing with spectacular meats and cheeses) and the buffalo cauliflower. Kim checked in occasionally to make sure everything was going well and the only feedback we had for her were all of the compliments we were receiving. Kim and the team took care of everything and helped make our evening that much more special. We would recommend Cava catering without hesitation and we will be using them in the future for all our events.

Absolutely amazing catering. I would recommend over and over again. It's difficult to condense just how much helpful Kim and team were but here are my top reasons: 1) Day of Coordination. I purchased the day of coordination as part of my catering package and it was by far the most useful purchase in my whole wedding. Kim helped me organize all the vendors on my wedding day-calling them before hand to confirm arrival dates, directing them on where to set up, coordinating when and where they should be. She also helped me resolve vendor issues (incorrect tent setup, lighting disagreements between vendors, etc. ). These are just some of the things I was aware of; I'm sure I'm missing out a laundry list of other things she and her team had to deal with. All I had to do on my wedding day was show up. Kim helped organize my family and guests to where we had to be and when seamlessly. My husband and I even had time to drink and eat which was only possible because of how well everything was run. 2) Food. My guests kept raving about the food during and after the wedding. The appetizers bites were not only delicious but also interesting (i.e., seared tuna). The food was really the reason why I picked Cava in the first place. They were the best vendor with food that was interesting (asian twist, fresh seafood, unique sauces) and reasonably priced. The entree was where the food really shined. The chef cooked every single filet mignon perfectly. This was especially impressive given the limited nature of the kitchen at our venue. Despite the small and under resourced kitchen, the team was about the bring out the food perfectly cooked and on time. Our guests kept bringing up how delicious the food was even after the wedding. 3) Simplicity. I was the type of bride that wasn't overly excited about the wedding planning process. I just wanted my wedding done right with limited and concentrated effort. Other vendors wanted to talk on hours about how my husband and I met, our dream theme, etc, etc. Kim and team were extremely understanding of my wedding planning style. I wanted to condense all the decision making in one step, complete it, and have it executed properly. I only needed two trips to the vendor: one for the food tasting and the second for the rentals. Kim and Linda helped me make all the necessary decisions efficiently on these limited trips with minimal back-and-forth communication. When I did have questions, all I had to do was email Kim and Linda and they got back to me quickly with a solution. The payments process was also extremely transparent and simple. I received my quote with easy to understand details on what cost what and payment schedule that was completed easily through an online portal. There was a) no extra fees, b) absolutely no surprises, and c) clear line of sight on what was required of me when. We ended up paying exactly the amount/person originally quoted to us. 4) Friendly staff. Everyone was so kind to us in the process. The servers and bartender were extremely friendly and willing to help out where needed. Kim and Linda were extremely helpful in the process. When I failed to recognize a detail, they helped inform me without making me feel stupid. When I couldn't make a decision, they guided me with advice while still making me feel in control. With them, I really did feel like this was my wedding and they did everything to make it perfect and memorable.

Cava was fantastic & instrumental in making my wedding come together. From the very beginning, they were super responsive to our questions and the food at our tasting was delicious! Between booking them and our actual day, Kim was incredibly helpful. She was a resource not just for catering questions, but for general wedding questions too! Having never planned an event on that scale before, I really appreciated her always giving me honest answers and helpful suggestions. We opted to pay the additional fee to have a Cava staff member be our onsite coordinator for our wedding day. Kim was amazing and SO EFFICIENT! She helped the rehearsal run smoothly and on the actual day she was insanely helpful. It was just reassuring to have her there because it knew it would all be taken care of! The food and service on our wedding day were phenomenal and we got lots of compliments!

We needed planning guidance - Cava was great: Kim of Cava is a consummate professional, yet friendly, accessible, and full of the expert advice that comes from experience. She helped us plan a wedding brunch that was just delightful. I can't say enough about the servers/staff she brought with her. A great experience - i would recommend.

What an absolute delight it was to work with Kim and her entire staff! To set the stage, we got married in a warehouse where nothing is included, and I mean nothing. We used cava for both our catering and day of coordinator services. Kim's knowledge, experience, financial suggestions, organization and candor/transparency was displayed after my first call with her. Her calm and collected personality is just an added bonus. Our venue had no kitchen, fridge, water, trash cans etc which Kim took in stride. She contacted our venue on her own and checked and double checked to ensure we weren't missing any permits, licenses and more. Unfortunately, our venue wasn't very forthcoming with many of their facilities unless we asked, which created a few week-of hurdles. Kim handled each hurdle, keeping me informed without dragging me into the details. Prior to our wedding day Kim spent multiple hours with me (on the phone and email) reviewing all our decor details and even took over our rental order (including furniture, flatware, cups, signs, coat racks etc). We had a cocktail style reception with no seated dinner. Cava was extremely flexible around the dishes we wanted to serve and worked with all dietary restrictions presented. Kim consistently checked in to ensure her presentation matched our theme. She even provided suggestions and tips on where we could save money. Kim and her staff left the venue spotless and even packed up our many decorations, making it a breeze for us to collect the next day. This review barely scrapes the surface on how much time and energy Kim and her staff dedicated to our wedding!

Kim and her team at Cava were wonderful! Kim was so helpful right from the beginning as we started our process of selecting a caterer. She was kind, responsive, and patience while assisting us with various small details and aspects, including ones we didn’t think of or know about! The day of coordinator and event staff were equally amazing! They were always available to lend an extra hand and went above and beyond expectations, were extremely kind to us and our guests, and made sure everything went smoothly! Set up, service, and breaking everything down was seamless! The bartender even left water for our guests out upon exit, and catering sent us home with a to go box of food and made sure our decorations were wrapped for travel. We highly recommend Cava not only for their food (so many compliments from our guests) but also for their outstanding service!

Kim and Cava Catering made our wedding spectacular. From our initial tasting, we were on the same page - great food and a lot of food. The pricing wasn't by piece, it was by person and the pricing was incredibly reasonable. With Kim, we were able to make the menu ours instead of following a standard pick-from-three menu. Our wedding guests loved the food and were raving about it for days. Our venue had limited kitchen access and Kim worked with this limitation without an issue. I also used the extended day-of coordinator services - this allowed the day to run smoothly and I didn't have to worry about the details on the wedding day (they set up everything!) I highly recommend Cava Catering.

Cava Catering is incredible start to finish. It was truly one of the best parts of our rainy day. The coordinator Kim is a pleasure to work with, constantly one step ahead (often even of my own team). And this is just the beginning. The food was absolutely amazing. It was buffet style, set out decoratively and was absolutely delicious. Our friends and family are still talking about it.
