They knew Kalyn and Chris so were able to plan the perfect wedding for them . Highly recommend them to plan your wedding and will definitely use them again for our next family wedding .

Are there 6 stars available? WOW, from the very first meeting to the very last second of the reception, this wonderful team was by our side. Definitely one of the very best investments we could have made for our daughter's wedding.

My daughter and I were hesitant to add the cost of a wedding planner to her budget. She and I thought we could plan her wedding on our own. My oh my was I wrong! I can honestly say without a doubt that hiring Calliope Events was hands down the best decision we made. Debbie kept us on task (tasks I didn’t even know we had), dealt with each and every Vendor and their individual contracts, deadlines and scheduling. She provided reliable and cost effective contacts for everything from draping to sparklers. When we asked Debbie a question, if she didn’t know the answer she found it. Debbie does it all! On the day of the wedding Debbie instructed all Vendors to go directly to HER with all questions, concerns and issues. What a true gift it was to be able to relax, enjoy and to live in the moment on the most important day of our daughters life. Treat yourself! Hire Calliope Wedding and Events. Debi and Christine were so amazing to work with throughout our entire wedding planning process! They were by our side through our COVID reschedule and were so supportive through it all. We ended up having a very small wedding in May 2020 and then a larger celebration in October 2020. Debi and Christine sent us flowers and treats for our small wedding which made us feel so special! Because of the reschedule there was a large time period from the time I hired Calliope to when our wedding actually happened and they never felt distant at all! I truly felt their support every step of the way. On the day of the wedding, Calliope was so incredible. Always very calm and happy and so so helpful! I cannot recommend Debi and Christine more!

Debi Sas and Christine Blasl were absolutely perfect. Perfectly thoughtful, perfectly professional and organized. I could not have gotten married without them. They took care of every detail and helped my wedding day go perfectly smooth. During the engagement season, they helped us with absolutely everything and brought so much peace into every detail. They are incredible and you will not regret working with them!! Absolutely recommend. We are so thankful for the love and care they had for our special day!!

I genuinely loved working with Debi and Christine. I love that even though they were a “day of coordinator”, they did so much more. They gave me a detailed timeline, a handful of phone meetings to discuss details, and a lot of suggestions on multiple details. For a bride who pretty much planned everything herself (especially during a pandemic and moving only a few months before the wedding), I really needed them. They were a huge help and also so sweet. I honestly didn’t have to worry about a thing during the wedding and felt really relaxed. Major kudos too! My photographer and videographer (same company) both tested positive for covid the DAY. OF. my wedding. Talk about nerve wrecking! Debi and Christine had a strict timeline so they knew something wasn’t right when they were there right on time and hadn’t received a call back, so jumped right in and started making some calls and found a photographer they knew personally to drop everything and come by the venue to start with the pre wedding photos. Thankfully my original company found replacements and they arrived about 30 mins before the ceremony, but I was so thankful for Debi and Christine to jump right in and make it all happen for me, so that I didn’t have to stress. 100% recommend them to anyone! Oh and people. Do yourself a major favor and budget for a Fay of coordinator. I had no idea this was a thing until my venue required it, and I’m so happy I did it.

Calliope events made my wedding exceed every expectation that I have ever had about a wedding. Not only my own expectations but my parents, my guests, and all of my vendors. Christine and Debi were like an extension of my own mind, they knew and understood my vision and truly made it come to life. I will never forget walking into the ballroom for the first time and seeing the results of all of our planning, it was truly breathtaking. Each decision we had to make along the way, I felt supported as they walked me through pros/cons, the “normal way”, the “etiquette way” and even supported me when I wanted to stray from the wedding norms a bit. Then, having to reschedule due to COVID, they were my families biggest support, helping scramble through the re-booking, changes, and ultimately just being our wedding therapists! From the details to the execution, everything was flawless. My day felt effortless, they took care of everything so that I could spend my special day with my loved ones not worrying about any issues. If problems arose, I wasn’t aware of them - they are problem solvers, confidants, the good cop, the bad cop and everything in between.. they are truly the reason our wedding day was perfect.

I loved working with Debi and Christine! They were so helpful and quick to remember everything I asked on my wedding day. They were always prepared, and thinking ahead to everything we could possibly need. They executed everything I asked and were essential to my wedding day! Would definitely recommend them!

Debi & Christine were amazing from the planning phase to the execution of our wedding day. They were always available for questions and advice and brought up little details that we’d overlooked. Debi and Christine are incredible to work with. They are both very professional, detail-oriented, and helped the wedding day run incredibly smooth! We didn't have to worry about anything, they were on-top of cue-ing, vendor confirmation, making sure everyone knew where to be when. They were such a blessing for us (our family especially)- to coordinate the day, and allow our family to enjoy the wedding, and not have to worry about a thing!

Christine and Debi were absolutely fantastic! I cannot say enough good things about these two. I honestly don't think I could have pulled my wedding off without them. They felt like so much more than just day-of coordinators. They checked in regularly throughout the planning process and never once made me feel guilty when I reached out to them with questions in the months leading up to the wedding. They accompanied me on my venue walkthrough and went over all of my vendor contracts which was huge for me, as I was primarily planning everything on my own. On the day of the wedding things went so so so smoothly and if there were any problems or issues I certainly didn't know about them! I was able to be present and enjoy every moment of the wedding without having to worry about decor, guests, or the timeline. Another huge bonus is that they have a TON of decor items for their clients to borrow (signs, lanterns, candle votives, vases, easels, etc). It was amazing not to have to rent items for centerpieces. They left my venue spotless and helped coordinate getting the reception cleaned up and things like gifts, guest book, etc packed away with my family. Hiring Calliope Events was THE BEST decision I could have made while planning my wedding!!

Debi and Christine were such a steal and one of the best investments we made for our wedding. They were our day-of coordinators but were more like year-of or month-of planners because they were always available for questions and checking in on our planning process. They also had so much of their own decor that they brought to the venue and lended us (ask them about it!) which saved us SO much money on decor that we were just going to use for a few hours. Overall, with all the hours they put towards our wedding and with all of the decor we borrowed from them, they were such a steal! I hope they raise their rates because the service they provide is worth so much more.

Christine jumped in a little less than a month before our wedding as a day-of coordinator. In our first call with her, I found her to be extremely supportive of our vision, quick to ask detailed questions, and unruffled by the timeline. I was particularly impressed by her professionalism in the way she presented herself and her attentive analysis of what we actually needed - unlike other coordinators in Austin we visited with, she was accommodating, kind, and patient with our specific requests regarding the contract with her. She was diligent and very responsive in her communications with us all the way up to the day of the wedding. I truly didn't have to worry about anything - the day flowed seamlessly from start to finish. She was there exactly when I needed her and how I needed her to be - a calm guide, a gentle director, and a person I knew that I could trust with one of the best days of my life. Hire Calliope!!!

Debi and Christine were worth every penny. I don't know what I would have done without them. Our wedding day ran unbelievably smoothly, and so many of our guests told me how very impressed they were with the organization of the event. My husband and I were able to sit back and truly enjoy our wedding day with their help. They also offered decor items that were included in their price, this was SO convenient because I wasn't left with items I would literally never use again. We are so happy that we decided to use Calliope Events for our wedding day coordinator. Our wedding day went so well and was so much fun, and a huge part of that was due to Debi and Christine. From our first meeting, we could tell that they were detailed, thorough, super nice, and that they love weddings. In the months leading up to our wedding, we met a few times, each meeting filled with important details that we hadn't even known to think about. They were always available via email or text to answer our questions and give us their suggestions. They have been to and coordinated a lot of weddings, and they know what works logistically! I didn’t hire them but I’m sure glad my bride did! I had the pleasure of being apart of a wedding organized by Calliope Events and felt compelled to share my thoughts on this dynamic duo. The first thing I thought of when beginning to describe how valuable Debi and Christine were to my girlfriends big day was double sided type. Maybe it’s because I’m still peeling some off of me or maybe it’s because they stuck together and we’re completely out of sight to the average guest, all while holding everything perfectly in place. I truly have never been apart of a more flawless wedding weekend and I know it was because of the organization and teamwork of Calliope Events.

I would HIGHLY recommend Calliope for anyone who is getting married. Even if you don't want a full on wedding coordinator, they were such an enormous help on the day of the wedding! They helped us meet deadlines and reminded us of what we should be working on next depending on the timeline of how long it was until the wedding. They were fast to reply through emails, phone calls or a short text which when planning a wedding can be important. On the day of the wedding they helped us set up and made things go so smoothly throughout the day. They were even able to rally my 8 bridesmaids and 7 groomsmen who don't always listen when prompted. My mother and I were relaxed and not stressed the whole day and even the months leading up to the wedding. 11 days before the wedding I had emergency surgery on my appendix so the last week and a half leading up to the wedding became a little hectic as it was kind of on standstill for a good week. They were there through it all and helped us in literally any way they could. It made a huge difference to my mom and I. Using them was defiantly our best and favorite vendor looking back at it all. You may not think you need the help, but it was AMAZING knowing they were there is you had any questions, concerns or even needed advice. They were incredible and I cannot thank them enough for everything they did!!

I don't even know where to start! These ladies are professional and know what they are talking about! Debi and Sarah were such a joy to work with and more than just a day-of-coordinator. My husband and I got engaged end of December and planned our wedding middle of May. I had no idea on where to start. Debi was able to help me and help my family on what to do. She read through all the contracts for us, informed us on different ideas and helped finalize our decorations. Both, my mom and MIL (including me!!!), were so pleased how everything turned out and we always say if we didn't have Debi we wouldn't have been able to plan the wedding. Let me start by saying I did NOT think I needed any kind of wedding coordinator. I consider myself very organized and thought I wouldnt really use the services - well I was so very wrong and am SO glad I hired Calliope for my wedding! Debi and Christine were such a joy to work with and were much more than just “day-of planners”. They were absolutely crucial in helping review contracts, organizing our timeline, finalizing small decisions (that we didn’t even think of), and providing valuable insight along the way. I cannot say enough great things about these ladies! Before hiring them I was worried due to being very good friends and have gone to college with one of them because it can get dicey with friends and family at a wedding, BUT they were so professional and SO AMAZING at their jobs that I didn’t have a worry in the world! They took off so much pressure on my mother and I during the planning process and especially the day of! We were able to actually enjoy the BIG day instead of stressing the small things! Wow! We just celebrated our daughters wedding last night at Prospect House and Debbie and Christine helped us pull off a flawless wedding! From start to finish this mother / daughter duo were fantastic! They responded to every question,helped us with things we didn’t anticipate and really pulled it all together! I loved that is was a mother daughter partnership! They both bring different perspectives and work so well together. You will NOT be disappointed with them and I am someone who think they can do most things themselves! TRUST me you do no want to plan an amazing wedding without Calliope helping you all along the way!!

Debi and Christine went way beyond their role in order to help our big day be a success. We didn't have to worry about much at all, they coordinated everything: arrival time of all the bridesmaids, groomsmen, caterer, DJ, bartenders, alcohol delivery, etc. They also had a timeline of the event that helped us feel comfortable with everything that was going to happen during the day of. During the event they were very helpful and would quietly stay off to the side and make sure everything was going according to plan. We had a fantastic wedding and I think most of that success is owed to Debi and Christine. We highly recommend them.

I hired Calliope for Day of Coordination for my daughter's wedding reception. They were very easy to work with through out the whole process. They asked lots of questions about my daughters vision so they could handle everything on the big day. Once they helped us finalize the timeline for the day they contacted all our vendors to be sure everyone was clear on arrival and setup times. There was a short time frame to set up the venue. Christine and Debi did an excellent job working with the vendors during set up and then continued to keep the evening on schedule. Can't thank them enough for all their help.
