I purchased my dress and veil from Calvet for my wedding last month. Dress shopping can certainly be an overwhelming process but my stylist at Calvet made it so easy! I did go in with a dress that I wanted to try that I saw on their instagram (and it is actually the dress I ended up purchasing) but they encouraged me to try on a few different styles and honestly it just reinforced that I knew I found the perfect one. I never once felt pressured to make a decision and they really take the time to help you find your style. Everyone was so sweet and I didn't even think twice when I needed to pick my veil. I went back to Calvet and they helped me put together the most stunning cathedral veil. Everything came together perfect on the big day!

Calvet Couture is an amazing bridal boutique with options for all budgets! The atmosphere in the shop is amazing and the staff is extremely helpful! I bought my dress in 2019 and it came in the day Orange County shut down for COVID. The owner let me drive by and pick it up before they closed! When they opened back up I booked another appointment for fitting/accessories. I would recommend this bridal shop to EVERYONE. My Jenny Yoo gown was perfect!

My experience wedding dress shopping at Calvet Couture was a dream! Monique was so helpful in helping me find "the one" (the Fleur de Lis dress by Hayley Paige). After purchasing, they were very communicative on the shipping timeline and estimated arrival. And they referred me to a great alterations shop in the area!! Definitely come here if you're a new bride looking for your dress!!

I happened upon this gallery from The Knot recommendations. I wasn’t planning to buy my dress yet, but they had a dress on sample sale that I fell in love with! I mentioned it when I booked my appointment and they brought it into the shop so I could try it on. I bought it and couldn’t be happier with the gallery, employees, and my dress!

My partner and I decided to elope, with less than a month to pull it all together. This was my first appointment ever trying on wedding dresses, and I was admittedly a bit scattered and frazzled trying to figure out what I wanted, or what would look good. I’m not at all confident with my body, and so this was sure to be daunting - but buy was I wrong! Monique (at the Winter Park location exclusively) made me feel like a total princess, and wouldn’t hear a single negative comment out of me about my appearance. She was helpful, patient, and kind, and I would recommend her to anyone looking for someone who feels more like a friend than a consultant. Hilarious, kind, and professional. The whole boutique is wonderful, but Monique made it a special day. And she helped me find my dream dress!

Calvet has a great selection of gowns that I could not find anywhere else when bridal dress shopping. My appointment was wonderful! However, according to my measurements the consultant had me size up in my dress which changed the entire gown. They then sent me to a seamstress who stated she had never worked with this type of gown before. She basically ended up taking it in an entire size which could have been avoided. Not to mention the cost of having this done. I even called to verify sizing up was necessary and still regret doing so. If you second guess the sizing recommendation, I would definitely get a second opinion. Also, my Mother and I went in on a whim while we were in town (we live over an hour away) since they had just moved locations to look at the new boutique and their accessories (after we had purchased my gown from them). The two women working were unfortunately very rude to us. The store did not have any other customers or appointments at the time.

I was very nervous to go wedding dress shopping, but the moment I walked into Calvet I was at ease. I worked with Emily, and she was fabulous. I described what I was interested in, and she picked out several dresses that were exactly like what I had in mind. After trying only five dresses on, I knew I had found the one. My bridal party and I just visited Calvet this last weekend and we were absolutely blown away by how friendly, helpful, and professional the staff is! They took their time with me and were accommodating to the large number of people that I brought with me (6). Their dresses are gorgeous and unique, and I ended up saying yes to the first dress I tried on in their shop. I cannot thank the team at Calvet enough - I wish I could wear my dress every single day!

I loved working with the team at Calvet for both my wedding and my twin sisters wedding. We had a great experience both times and did not feel stressed at all. Their customer service is amazing and their dresses are stunning. I would highly recommend them!!

I had the BEST experience at Calvet Couture on Saturday! Monique was absolutely amazing and really knew how to provide customer service. She was very sweet, knowledgeable, and she even made me feel special in each and every dress I tried on. With her background in sewing and love for wedding dress design, she really explained each dress and was able to clip each dress the way it would fit in my size once it came in. She knew a lot about the designer of my dress (even about her personal life) which I loved learning! I ended up coming back to buy my dress after going to other shops where I was treated poorly and did not like any dresses they had. Calvet Couture is quite the opposite! My friends and mother were treated so well, too, and I can’t wait to have another great experience picking up my dress!

I recently had my appointment with Monique, she was fantastic! So insightful and full of information yet really relatable. She made me feel at ease and helped make the experience smooth running. The store had a ton of variety is styles and pricing! Would highly recommend.

I cannot rave enough about my experience at Calvet Couture with Monique as my consultant. Immediately I felt welcomed, honored, and well taken care of. Monique made me feel completely beautiful and listened to from start to finish. She provided great feedback but also gave me the proper space for me to decide what I liked and what didn’t work. I tried on my perfect dress early on in the appointment but Monique still allowed me to try on others to know I was making the perfect decision. I never felt rushed or pushed into a decision. She was so knowledgeable and so kind- I could never thank her enough. I was slightly dreading the experience since I am definitely not a size 0, so I was worried how I could get a vision but I never once felt that. This was everything I thought wedding dress shopping would feel like and more. Thank you for living up to what I had dreamt for!

From the minute my entourage and I arrived, we were informed that we only had 1.5 hours to find my perfect dress. The very young and inexperienced sales "girl" did not seem to grasp the style of dress that I was looking for. Calvet carries a diverse selection of designers but their samples are extremely worn to the point of being torn. This made it difficult to appreciate the true quality and shape of the dresses. Calvet was the only bridal boutique where the sales girl did not assist me in putting on the gown and she did not have an adequate number of clips to size the gown to my petite figure. Due to this unpleasant experience, I did not "say yes to the dress" at this store.

I had such a wonderful experience at Calvet Coutoure! I had Monique and she was AMAZING!!! She really took care of my every need...from champagne to the perfect dress and everything in between! I highly recommend shopping with them and if you can request Monique DO IT! She is an angel and will make sure you feel like royalty during this special time! Oh and their dresses are gorgeous and affordable if you have a strict budget!

I loved my experience at Calvet Couture! I went to another store prior to coming to Calvet, and the other store did not compare to Calvet. All of the ladies I worked with at Calvet were so wonderful and nice, especially Emily! I saw a dress I liked on Instagram but it was only at their Ponte Vedra store, so Emily had it shipped to the Winter Park store for me to try on (which I loved and ended up buying). I even came back and purchased my hair piece from Calvet! Thanks again to all of the ladies at Calvet Couture for making me feel so glamorous and beautiful on my wedding day! I highly recommend!

I could not have been happier with my experience here! I went to the new location by Ulta in Winter Park with no appointment & unsure of what I was even looking for to be honest. Emily was so sweet & welcoming from the moment I walked in the door! She was so sweet & answered any & every crazy question I had with out making me feel silly or dumb (like other places have done). She was also very laid back & didn’t make me feel pressured about anything (another flaw of most bridal boutiques I have been to). I’m so happy to say I said yes to the dress of my dreams & had such a wonderful experience. I can’t wait to go back in a few months & have my actual dress!!

What I thought was originally a great experience turned into a nightmare. When I went to pick out a dress in the end of January I was so excited to come to calvet couture bridal. I was greeted when I walked in, and there were times when I had three employees all helping me with whatever I needed. I picked out a particular dress that came in two color choices. With my winter wonderland theme I of course chose the ivory as it would fit perfectly with the theme. I gave them my contact info so that they could reach me when the dress came in which was expected to be the end of May. First week of June rolls around and no call so I call them and they said they dress wasn’t in yet as end of May was an estimation and that they don’t get updates on when the dress will be in. When the dress arrives they’ll give me a call and send an email. First week of August rolls around and I call again. This time they said it’s in and to schedule a time to pick it up. Alright so they never called or emailed but hey my wedding isn’t until the following January so I have nearly 5 months still. When I get there is when the real disaster strikes. The employee takes me to a room and shows me my dress, my Blush colored dress. After a moment of shock I said it was supposed to be ivory. She gets another employee to help and they look in their system and find that it was ordered in blush and asked me if I was sure it was supposed to be ivory. Of course it was supposed to be in ivory my theme is winter wonderland, the only reason I bought the dress was because an employee in January found out for me the dress came in ivory I said. She said she’d call the store owner and manager and get back to me ASAP. A couple days later I get an email saying that the designer will send the correct material for a seamstress to fix my dress with for an additional charge! I spoke with the family I brought with me in January and we all agreed that I was adamant about the dress color needing to be ivory. I spoke with my father about the situation and although he would’ve paid for the correction I decided to stick with the blush to save money and my whole theme for the wedding changed as a result. Calvet couture bridal would not do an even exchange which they do state in the fine print. However I wasn’t the one that entered the color when it was ordered so really it wasn’t my fault, but the employee who placed it. I know that I asked for ivory. In short I don’t recommend Calvet Couture Bridal. If you go make 100% sure that the employee who is typing up the order knows what color the dress needs to be in. I hope no one ever goes through this experience.

If I could rate 10 stars I would!! My experience at this shop was nothing but amazing! From the moment I walked in to the moment I was leaving I was treated like I was royalty. To be honest, I was nervous about dress shopping because I am not a tiny girl (size 10/12 in normal clothes). From being a bridesmaid a million times I know bridal sizes are different and I was ready to be upset. Instead I left feeling so good about myself with a dress of my dreams on order. Their customer service was impeccable! Explaining everything to me, giving me options, and even helping me accessorize and get the full picture! Loved every minute! Do yourself a favor and go to Calvet Couture!

What a wonderful experience I had selecting and buying my dress from Calvet Couture! They have gorgeous dresses of quality from top designers and the staff is beyond professional. The woman who helped me try dresses on made me feel so comfortable and put me at ease during the process. I made an appointment last minute, and from the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and at ease! The experience was just fun and relaxed. The friendly staff is wonderful and the champagne makes it way easier to enjoy the process of selecting a wedding gown (which, up until then, I had MAJOR anxiety about) They have an incredible selection and a non-pushy atmosphere. Calvet Couture was so incredible!! They have such a large selection of designer gowns. I found my dream dress after trying on maybe three dresses. I had a large group of people in my party and we were welcomed instead of made to feel like a burden, something I experienced at other stores. We drove to Winter Park specifically to find something special that I hadn't seen everyone else wearing and I absolutely did!

I am in LOVE with my dress and can't thank the ladies of Calvet enough for all of their help! I drove three hours to visit this shop because I wanted a special Hayley Paige gown and they brought it in for me during a trunk show to try on. It was perfect! I'm having a veil made to match it as well, which really tied the whole look together. Well worth the trip!

I loved shopping at Calvet! After leaving another store discouraged it was a breath of fresh air. I wanted a very simple dress but with high quality fabric and they had a large selection in my budget. I said yes to a Jenny Yoo dress that I had actually seen online but had been unable to find anywhere in store. My whole family left raving about our experience.

From start to finish I loved my experience at Calvet Couture! I got so many compliments on my dress, and the staff was wonderful to work with. Alexandra and Emily are amazing and you can tell they love what they do. All of my bridesmaids loved their dresses as well which never happens but they had cute things that were on trend my girls actually wanted to wear. I also needed a last minute pair of earrings (a borrowed pair didn’t work out) and so I came by and they helped me select a gorgeous pair that they were able to get in a week! I couldn’t believe it. I can’t reccomend this shop enough.

I have been dreading writing this review because I have never actually written a bad review before, but I felt that the women considering buying a wedding dress from Calvet Couture should know and learn from my experience. The experience when you go in to look or purchase a dress is very pleasant, once they make the sale, it is absolutely terrible. I have never experienced such terrible customer service and it is something you should never have to deal with as a bride with 1000 other things going on. When my dress came in I went to pick it up and it was so tight that they could not get it up and we had to fight to zipper it. I could not breathe and could not walk correctly. The girl helping me was not the girl that sold me the dress. When I asked her what we should do because it is too tight she said "well you signed the contract so we can't do anything." I saved for months to buy my dress and that really broke my heart that they could care less that it clearly did not fit. (I have always been between a size 2-4 and actually lost weight in the time that they ordered my dress.) They were insistent on ordering me a 0 according to my measurements for that designer and assured me that it could be let out in the thigh area where I measured bigger. I of course trusted them because they are supposed to be the experts. I called for 3 weeks trying to get the girl that sold me my dress (Emily) on the phone and she said that since I took the dress there is nothing they can do (the first girl told me I had to take it from the store), but Emily assured me that it could be taken out up to a size 4 in that area. So I altered it and still, it was too small. We tried again to get Emily on the phone, spoke with other people such as Frances who made my mom cry on the phone because she was so nasty about the situation. Never once did the owner of the store reach out to see if there was anything that could be done even though I emailed her and called the store many times. They only offered me fabric to try making the dress bigger once I contacted the designer. The designer's office also wondered why Calvet did not just order my a 0 in the top and a 2 or 4 on the bottom if I had measured that way since that is something the designer could have done. Or why they did not just send it back since they would have taken it if it was not altered. At the end of the day, they offered no help, dodged my calls, and were flat out rude and stuck up. No apology, nothing. Just defensive from the start. They only offered after I called the designer when it was WAY too late and show zero dignity or compassion in the work that they do. They had the audacity to blame my seamstress when this whole problem could have been resolved right when I picked up my dress in the first place. I could go on and on about the series of events that happened to lead me to writing such a review, but I honestly just want other brides to know so that this does not happen to them. I wish I read the reviews because there are so many other women that said the same thing about Calvet; they make the sale, then do. not. care. about. you. There are so many shops out there that care about the customer and in this day and age that is what makes the difference. If I could go back in time I would go any of the other 100+ stores in the Orlando area and would never want anyone to go through what I did. If everything goes perfectly, great. If it doesn't, you are 100% on your own resulting in so much extra stress and money. Do not buy your dress from here.

The ladies here are so wonderful and helpful! They really made me feel special while selecting my wedding dress. All the dresses were absolutely beautiful and I found my dream dress by Hayley Paige!

I had the best experience at Calvet Couture Bridal in Winter Park! The stylists were so great to work with and since it was by appointment only, the store wasn't packed with brides (this overwhelmed me at the other shop I went to). The feel of this bridal salon was just so spacious and bright and cheerful and really is the perfect atmosphere to find your dress. They also recommended an amazing alterations place for me (Thread & Needle in Winter Park).

I had such an awesome time last weekend dress shopping here. My stylist, Hannah, was so helpful, friendly & wonderful! This store has a large variety of dresses of all styles and designers. Everyone there was so friendly and uplifting. I highly recommend!!!

I had a wonderful experience saying yes to the dress at Calvet Couture.

This store was my first stop to dry on dresses and sadly I was very disappointed. I made an appointment for a Saturday afternoon several weeks in advanced. We (My mom and 2 sisters) arrived 10 minutes before our appointment time, the girl behind the counter never asked my name but had me fill out an appointment card. Once I did, she asked what I was thinking and when I expressed I wasn’t quite sure what style of dress I wanted she told me to look around and let her know what dresses I would like her to pull. After quite a while of her attending other groups in the store, my sister had to go get her to help us pull some of the dresses and set up a dressing room. In her defense, she was very pleasant, but once I had a dressing room she did not help me at all to get in and out of the dresses, hang them up, and most times I had to walk out of the room holding the dress up before she would clip me into it. While we were there we also witnessed a bride at the counter very upset, speaking to the sales associate assigned to me (and three other brides at the same time) explaining an issue with the dress she purchased from them. The sales associate very bluntly told the bride there was nothing she could do to help her. I have been to several bridal salons with other brides, and if I am being completely honest the level of service at David’s Bridal far surpassed this higher end bridal salon. To top things off, I did find a beautiful dress but because of the service level, I was hesitant to purchase. The attendant did offer to write it down for me, but after leaving and upon further research the dress she wrote down was the entirely wrong model and style. After that discovery I am so thankful I did not order from here as I probably would not have received the correct dress.

I purchased my bridal gown, bridesmaid dresses, and all of my accessories from Calvet and couldn’t have been happier. Everything looked stunning on my wedding day!

This was my fourth stop and quite honestly should have been my first. I really wanted a unique gown, and something without heavy beading that had nice fabric. Every gown I tried on here had beautiful quality material and the silhouettes were all very flattering. They even customized the top of my gown to give me more coverage, which no other shop offered to do for any of the gowns I tried on. Emily and Alexandra were beyond helpful and guided me to the perfect dress without being pushy. I can't recommend this place enough if you want a boutique experience and a dress that everyone else isn't wearing!

I was super nervous about bridal shopping, but was immediately at ease as soon as I walked in the door at Calvet Couture. My consultant Emily was Bubbly, kind, patient, and knew exactly my style. I had an amazing experience!

I purchased my wedding dress during a Legends Trunk show and absolutely loved the experience! I was amazed with the fit and the quality of the gowns that they carried compared to other places I visited. The staff was incredible and I felt at ease during the whole process. I have a larger chest and my consultant spent so much time explaining the different necklines and helping me choose a style that flattered my body. 5 stars for sure!

I got my bridesmaids dresses from Calvet and they turned out perfect! We went with various Katie May styles in burgundy. They were beautiful and all of my girls were happy to wear a dress they may actually wear again. The ordering process was easy and I’d definitely recommend ordering with them!

Let me start with the positive: I found the dress of my dreams here and it got compliments left and right. The timeline was accurate on how long it would take. I went to another bridal salon first, where I was helped and I was the center of attention. A wedding dress is a huge investment and for someone paying thousands of dollars, I was not treated that way at Calvet Couture. First off, employees were dealing with multiple brides at one and getting anyone's attention proved to be a challenge. Second of all, the veil was priced wrong and when we got to the register, we were told there was nothing they could do. Even if that's the case, a credit of some sort on the dress would've been acceptable and was never followed through. If that wasn't bad enough, the store got my email wrong and instead of calling me too, I was unaware my dress had even arrived. No one was unpleasant or hard to deal with. I was just disappointed.

This was the third store I went to, and I had the best experience here by far. My really large group was made to feel unwelcome at some other stores in town and when we arrived to Calvet several staff members rushed to ensure everyone had a comfortable seat and champagne all around. I ended up going over my time for my appointment and they kept the store open an extra hour just for our party and never made me feel rushed out the door. They even had a real bouquet to hold because I shopped during a trunk show. I said yes to a Hayley Paige gown and couldn't be happier!

Kelly made my experience shopping for a wedding dress easy and fun. I never felt pressured, and got a beautiful Ines Di Santo gown that I can't wait to wear. The designer even added sleeves for me and they turned out perfect. If you want something unique this is definitely the place to find it.

I had a lovely experience shopping at Calvet Couture! Emily was incredibly nice and the third dress she picked was the one. I didn't even want to try it on, but it ended up being perfect. All of the ladies were incredibly nice and honest offering their opinions and I felt really special even when the store was busy. I would definitely recommend shopping here!

I really wanted to like this bridal salon but they were terrible. I’ve been in the hospitality/customer service industry and have a lot of patience but this was trying to deal with. I was looking for a particular dress and they had it in stock at another location a few hours away. I called twice to confirm the dress would be in store for my bridal appointment. I go to my appointment and they did not have the dress. Now this dress was “the dress” for me so it was a big deal. They overnighted it and I had to come back the next day. They gave me a discount and I could forgive the mishap but it continued. When I came in the first time they offered champagne and I never got it. When I came the next day they offered champagne and never got it. When I came in a third time to actually purchase the dress no beverages or champagne offered. I have to admit I didn’t care for some of the consultants. Some were really nice but the others quite snobbish and not very helpful. When I picked up my wedding dress I wrote down the information of my bridesmaids for the dresses they were to order. They don’t carry the brand anymore but my consultant confirmed with the owner it would still be fine as long as they ordered a dress still on the website. My bridesmaid called and told them they couldn’t do it anymore. I called in and spoke with Kelly and she told me the same thing. I told her about all of my terrible experiences but all she said was sorry and I don’t think she was really all that sorry. At this point I’m livid and I just hung up. I completely regret purchasing my dress from the shop. Of all the wedding vendors I’ve dealt with they are by far the worst and I wish I had gone elsewhere. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

Absolutely wonderful experience! I arrived in the morning with two bridesmaids, and found THE dress with Emily's help! My mom doesn't live in the area, and she offered to stay past store closing so that my mom could see the dress prior to putting down a deposit. The whole experience made me feel like a princess and I loved it.

A warning to all brides to-be who shop here to be aware of the overall poor customer service I have endured. As a soon to be bride myself, I pictured a happy and joyous experience which turned horrible after realizing that I was sold a defective dress with rips, tears, and holes that were not observed to the naked eye or until a closer look was taken by several seamstresses (including those recommended by the store). My fairytale of a dress was now tainted and I personally feel taken advantage of. And instead of receiving any sort of apology or acknowledgement that this dress was not up to par, my family and I received attitude and straight out avoidance from the owner. I highly recommend you reconsider taking your bridal needs to this boutique.

I said yes to the dress here, and couldn’t be happier with the experience! I had a large party and didn’t realize I should let boutiques know beforehand. Other stores were rude that I brought so many people but Calvet Couture welcomed us with open arms and with glasses of champagne right when we walked in! I fell in love with a Hayley Paige, a sash, earrings, veil, and selected bridesmaids all in one visit. Emily took almost three hours helping us and her and her sister Sarah were the sweetest! They were honest, patient, and overall the whole at atmosphere of the store was fun and laid back. My best friend just got engaged and booked her appointment to come here, and I can’t wait to go back.

My fiancé is beyond upset wth this organization and mainly the customer service after saying “Yes to the Dress”. She had thought that she’d found the dress for our wedding but after taking it to 2 separate alteration businesses they refused to do the alterations due to the extent of damages that were on the original dress. After going back on two different occasion the staff refused to work with her or her mom what so ever. Brides, as a husband to be, the experience at this place has truly made the wedding planning experience tainted for my fiancé. I highly recommend you think twice in taking a chance on a place that has put a girl in the same stage as you in this predicament. It’s not worth it.

My dress shopping experience was great. When it came to the veil not so much. I found the prefect Hayley Paige dress for my wedding and ordered a matching veil to go with it. My dress came in over a month early which was great but I was sent home with the wrong veil. Getting it fixed has been an annoying experience thus far. As I have been told three different days to come in and pick up my veil just to have them tell me that it wasn’t in the store yet. My entire experience had been great up until this point. I would recommend buying your dress there but be mindful of ordering a custom veil.

I went to three other places before going to Calvet Couture and I should have just gone here first!! This was the best experience! I walked in and felt so welcomed and heard. I worked with Frances and she was so patient and helped me find the perfect dress. My dress arrived so much earlier than I thought! What a relief to have that happen. They then helped me find the most perfect veil. Thank you to the entire Calvet Couture team!

I just picked up my Hayley Paige gown and WOW! It almost fit perfect and im just overall amazed by the ladies at this store. Gown came early and the whole process has been great. I worked with Frances and her southern charm is the best, such a hoot! I would recommend this store to anyone, they truly are incredible!

From start to finish, my experience has been so amazing. I found the perfect Hayley Paige dress and matching veil here, and when my dress arrived it fit extremely well. I was hesitant to order up a size as my consultant suggested and it ended up being the right choice. I’m so glad I trusted the calvet team and can’t wait for my wedding day now!
