e and asked if I would be able to get my appointment deposit back if I found a dress, the answer was no. I understood and respected that and excitedly kept the appointment. I was lucky enough to find a gown I loved at another shop, but still wanted to look at options at Cameo. As I arrived, I voiced that to my consultant (and OWNER) of the store, Gina. Within about 10 minutes, I was in my second gown. Upon finding out I had purchased a dress at a different shop, Gina’s tone completely changed. Without considering the fact I could possibly want a different dress for either a second wedding dress, or any other bridal event, she voiced that me looking at other gowns was a waste of my time, her time, and her resources. She went on to say that she would’ve refunded my deposit and I wouldn’t have had to come in. Again, the website AND the phone call I had with Cameo, said I will not get that deposit back. Either way, I wanted to try on more gowns. She casually mentioned that Cameo had bridesmaid and mother of the bride dresses, but was too busy talking about her next bride to another consultant and hastily putting the dresses she picked for me to try on away, to follow up on that offer. As we were uncomfortably packing our belongings in preparation to leave the store, she felt the need to came up to me and say, “I hope you’re not mad at me” with a big smile on her face. Stunned, I had absolutely nothing to say. Regardless of if I had already purchased a gown or not, I had paid for my appointment and had EVERY right to have the opportunity to try on more gowns. Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamed about shopping for wedding dresses with my mother. After not seeing my mom for almost a year, she flew to me to spend the weekend shopping for dresses. I went into Cameo, excited to continue my dream weekend with my mom, that dream was rudely taken from me from the owner of a bridal salon. To say I was disappointed with my experience at Cameo Bridal and Gina would be severe understatement. Gina took away an experience I’ll only have once. She was impersonal, aggressive, offensive, and downright rude. I will happily be steering everyone I know away from shopping at Cameo Bridal Salon & Boutique.

This dress fit my body in all the right places and best part, I've never seen any other style like it (Stella York) the whole time I was wedding planning and browsing other bridal looks. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and I was grateful for it being a plus size bride. I never felt uncomfortable, especially since I was there shopping alone. My dress was also very reasonably priced. I didn't have any issues with ordering, the estimated delivery time they gave me was right, my measurements were correct when it came in, etc. The boutique has a great selection and the fitting rooms were always clean. They also do on-site alterations. I'd definitely recommend you book an appointment here in your hunt for your perfect wedding dress!

Upon walking into the shop, the front sign greeted each customer by name with someone to assist you right away. Because Cameo had taken such care in reviewing the info I presented in my questionnaire, they had already pulled several dressed in my size I could get started with. All the picks were absolutely beautiful and what I had been looking for and my feedback was used each time to pick a new selection. Elan was absolutely amazing. She was both quick and 100% on point with clipping the dressing to make them comfortable, but form fitting so you could really see the ideal, form fitting shape of each. She was so kind, patient, and fun. She had my entire family and friends laughing and smiling throughout. We probably made it through 10-15 dresses in the hour. After being torn but 2 possible dresses, I decided to come back another day. Elan was extremely helpful, letting my come back two days later on short notice for a private appointment to try on both dresses again. When I finally picked, she seemed genuinely just as happy and excited as I was. I can't say enough about how friendly and helpful this store was throughout the entire process.

s here....they are very welcoming they make you feel special as soon as you enter the door because if you have an appt they write your name on their board that sits right at the front....next your welcomed and greeted with smiles and all the fun and excitement begins....they also start you off by already pulling dresses for you based off what you have told them you wanted which helps a great deal..... my first visit was with Rhianan and I hope i didn't spell her name wrong.....but she was great very friendly very professional very honest she made it about you and how you felt.... I tried on several with her.. .narrowing it down to 3....one in which i really loved that wasn't a bridal dress but actually from their prom collection and although I knew my mom or mother in law wasn't in agreement I loved how it looked and she saw that but didn't try to discourage me from keeping it as a choice .. .however it end up being a discontinued item so it wouldn't be able to be ordered in the size i needed.....although I left that day without deciding I still didn't leave feeling discouraged..... I called to set up another appt and I normally like consistency so I wanted to work with Rhianan again however she works most evening I believe and I needed to come in earlier this particular appt day... this day I was greeted by the Amazing Ms. Gina.... Ms. Gina went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and she gets you really excited and constantly reassures you we will find what you need and want and you will not walk out of their without feeling like the Most beautiful woman in the world...with Ms.Gina she challenged me to step outside the scope or what I was originally looking for and try something different just to see.....as I had went back in to try back on the prom type dress that I end up loving so much to see if I could work with that....again Ms. Gina bubbly bright fun personality challenged me to try something different so I tried on a few mermaid styles and oh my goodness seeing My shape in them I was in love and the smiles began.....I tried on one that was fitted and had hang off the shoulder straps and my soul smiled....she added a veil and dim the lights and I was sold my heart melted and I fell in love with my new dress.. thank you Cameo Bridal overall for my experience so far....thank you Rhianan for a first initial beautiful welcoming experience....thank you Ms. Gina your experience in this really shines through and your overall personality was the icing on the cake....I can't wait to come back in once the dress comes in and finish the process...I get excited all over again just thinking about it!. Gina was quick to work on her feet to adjust to my style as I reacted, including adding or removing details that change how the dress looked or felt. I fell in love with the *first* dress I tried on, but she was willing to let me try on about 10 more just in case I liked something better. They even accommodated a surprise my fiancé put together the day before and had it set up upon my arrival (flowers, champagne, a photo collage, and a sweet letter) and gave us time for the mothers and grandmothers to look at and try on dresses too. She was full of compliments and the best hype person I could have asked for! When the dress came in, Cameo did my alterations as well. Gina (lucky me, I got her again!) hemmed it all, took in the sides, designed the bustle, all while carrying on a friendly conversation. The seamstress (unfortunately did not catch the name) did an incredible job completing the alterations, and in a very short time period too! I got my dress back clean and beautiful and fitting perfectly. After I tried it on at home, I realized the bustle was a tad too long and that I would end up stepping on it for the dance moves we had planned for the first dance. I took it back to Cameo to see what they could do, and they raised the bustle easily, and at no additional charge! They really are wonderful. Day of my wedding, I felt gorgeous. I got MANY comments on how stunning my dress was and how it was just perfect for me. So thank you to Gina for finding my perfect dress, and thank you to all of Cameo for such a wonderful experience throughout the wedding planning process and making the dress part of everything so easy and effortless. The alterations process was very easy and quick, it only took a few weeks for all my alterations (I didn't need the size changed but the length was altered and I wanted extra fabric added in the top).

Towards the end of the appointment, I found a dress I loved but I wanted to take a beat before actually purchasing. I thought about it all week and made an appointment for the following weekend. I tried on that dress again and Megan was so patient and gave me time to try walking around, raising my arms, taking different videos/pictures, and speaking with the tailor. I decided to purchase it! Afterwards, she asked if my mom wanted to look at Mother-of-the-Bride dresses, which was a great decision! She gave my mom the same time and attention to help her find some options that she felt comfortable and pretty in. This time we were there for over 3 hours total! I really appreciate that they gave us the time and provided good insight to make decisions we are happy with–they truly understand how special the wedding day should be! When we came in, Gina helped us and started pulling things that matched the answers I submitted while we wandered around and pulled things we thought would look nice. As I tried on dresses, she helped tailor what she pulled to what I liked and disliked about other dresses. She was so knowledgeable about everything, and made sure I felt like a princess before I left the salon. As the months passed, I started to have second guesses about the dress (I overthink everything), and the staff at Cameo was welcoming and let me come in and try my dress on again (the sample, of course), just to make sure that it was the one I wanted. The entire staff there was so helpful and friendly, I couldn't imagine going anywhere else to get my wedding gown. Gina said it is a family-owned business, and you can tell everyone there genuinely cares about every bride that walks into their shop.

As you can imagine, planning a wedding and picking out the key details is essential, and choosing the right dream dress within an appropriate time frame was an extremely important part of my sister in law’s “to do list.” I reached out to Gina at Cameo Bridal online as I remembered my initial struggles with finding a shop that would assist me with my own dream dress when I got married two years ago. Gina was very quick to respond, and offered selections online to view prior to scheduling an appointment. Gina took the time to listen to my sister in law in terms of what her vision was for her dream dress, and made sure she selected dresses for her that that fit the description she provided. Gina never once pressured or tried to persuade either of us to choose her shop over any of the other local shops, and continued to be attentive and responsive to all questions and new ideas presented overtime while the final decisions were being made. After taking some time to consider the options presented online, my sister in law decided to give Cameo Bridal a try for her dress selections. Upon arrival, Cameo made my sister in law feel welcomed and showed her to her own private area decked out with engagement décor, mirrors at every angle, and the option to choose any play list to set the dress fitting mood! There were plenty of comfortable seating options for guests to wait while the “bride to be” was transforming into her gown selections. Gina made the whole experience unforgettable and had our group laughing the entire time. When it came time to “say yes to the dress” Gina and the Cameo staff helped congratulate and celebrate my sister in law’s selections with a wide variety of photos to remember her special day, and the very moment that she said “yes” to her dress. Not only did my sister in law find her dream dress, but she was able to find her bridesmaid dresses at the same time! The overall experience at Cameo was an experience that we will never forget, from the bridal experience, to the guest experience, Cameo makes each and every person feel special. ent 2 months in advance, contacted the shops to see if they had certain dresses but made clear that I wanted to try on others that cameo had to offer. I walked in and was greeted as though no one was expecting me and was confused with another bride. The consultant didn't ask about what kind of look I was seeking (after speaking for 2 months) nor did she ask about a budget. When I told her I was looking for A-line dresses, she was perplexed and showed that they had nothing to offer (even though they said they had the dresses in the previous email I sent). She told me they did not have a strong selection of A-line dresses and anything she brought me was not what I was looking for. I spent more time undressed in the dressing room while the consultants were pulling dresses than I did trying on gowns. I also mentioned numerous times that I liked a specific designer and wanted to try on their dresses, the consultant looked as though she had no idea what I was talking about and I never tried on any of those gowns. It is also posted everywhere that you cannot take pictures. The atmosphere is very unwelcoming and my consultant did not appear as though she was interested in understanding my style/look. Bottom line: if you're looking for an A-line dress, want to see variety, and want to take pictures so you can think about your over $1,000 purchase, DO NOT GO HERE!
