We DIYed our wedding and wanted someone capable to coordinate the actual day of the wedding so we could enjoy the event. Camila was hands down this person.
I interviewed 5-6 other coordinators and most had lengthy contracts that were very specific about what can and cannot be done. I agree it's fair to be clear on what the scope of service is, but weddings can be unpredictable and it worried me that my coordinator might refuse to help on the actual wedding day. And then most of the coordinators I spoke with were the owner / sales person and not the actual person who will work my wedding and I would not be able to speak with the actual coordinator before signing a contract.
In contrast, Camila did have a contract but left it general enough so that she would be available to handle anything unexpected. And Camila was the actual person that would show up on the wedding day.
Camila is 100%, roll up her sleeves and "whatever it takes" to get it done, best choice for a coordinator. And as expected, the actual wedding did have hiccups and Camila took care of everything the way that I would have myself.

Her level of calmness and grace under pressure are unparalleled. She literally saved our day multiple times with things I had no idea would go wrong. We felt so supported and in great hands. We booked Camila for our wedding which was postponed for more than a year due to COVID 19 and I could not recommend her more. She was professional, easy going, organized, and went above-and-beyond her title as a wedding planner to make it a very special day for my now husband and I. We live in the Bay Area, and with all of the changes due to COVID, I was so thankful to Camila for helping us plan the most perfect LA wedding! STOP searching! You're sooo lucky to have stopped on Camila Perry's site. Why? 'Cause hands-down, she is one of the nicest, caring, knowledgeable, patient, no task is too big or too small, attention to every detail, planning guru, I've ever come across, that not only is she affordable and works with any budget, but whatever that is, you get 100x your money's worth. Told you, lucky!And I know, because I'm a professional wedding crasher with over 300 under my belt.
My wedding was last June and Camila was my wonderful day of wedding coordinator. She was so extremely helpful and took care of things that I didn't even realize needed taken care of (which saved me a lot of stress). My husband and I did the entire wedding ourselves so there were definitely moments where things fell through the cracks, especially on The Big Day. Camila arrived and instantly put my mind at ease. She dove right in and helped with anything and everything that needed it. I learned she is also really great with flower arrangements! Before the wedding, there was plenty of communication where she gathered all information she needed for the wedding day so she was fully prepared. She seemed very comfortable and never flustered! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Camila to anyone looking for a wedding planner or day of coordinator!! She is amazing!!! Okay so I found Camilla through the knot and I must say she did an amazing job. I got her for day of coordination. She wasn’t available to be there for my wedding day as she had another wedding that day. But she has people that work for her and so she gave me a list and I chose Jenny. I couldn’t be any happier with my choice. Jenny went above and beyond the day of my wedding. She really made my vision come to live. I showed her some inspiration pictures and she nailed it! Camila also was soooo helpful throughout my planning. Keep in mind I only got her for day of coordination but I feel like she helped me so much planning it. She has a bar in Sherman oaks and she invited me over and it was soo fun to get to meet them there before the wedding. She really is a sweetheart! Don’t even think about it! Book her.
I am so happy with the way everything turned out on the day of the wedding. Everyone always says that something will go wrong but I can say that I felt the BIG day ran smoothly, and I know that this is in big part to my awesome DOC. Camila was amazing, we talked over the phone prior to meeting and when we met I knew she was a keeper. She let me email/text her whenever I had any questions/concerns, and this is considering that I hired her for Day of not month of. Ultimately when it comes down to it, Camila seemed like such a down to earth type of person, easy to talk to and easy work with. Thank you Camila!!!! you made my day very special and I could NOT have done it without you. You rock!

So we were lucky enough to work with Camila before she realized what she was worth, haha....but seriously folks, compared to other planners, she is really inexpensive! Most planners start at a minimum of $1500. I was a little wary before calling, then meeting her, because WHY... WHY is she so much less expensive? Is it because she sucks?? I even asked her why her prices were so much lower. What she told me was this- she knows what she is worth, but she also thinks that everything "wedding" is overpriced. She said as a bride she felt that every time she said wedding, a 25% increase in price as added to whatever she was ordering. She didn't want brides who needed help to choose to go it alone, because they can't afford a coordinator. That's why she offers a cheaper shorter time period so people o a budget can stiles her and those with bigger budget can add more hours..... anyway enough about her and let's talk about how awesome my wedding was! Camila actually ended up doing all the floral arrangements for me as well... beat the florist prices by 50%! The flowers were beautiful! The day went smoothly, Camila and her team kicked butt. They were always moving, cleaning, adapting, and they made sure our list of details all had a big fat check mark next to them. I can't recommend them enough!
So, we had a "simple" backyard wedding planned... our budget was $15k for everything. Stoneware, secretly our beautiful cake had a few slices and the rest was fake as we cut costco cake in the kitchen...hahaah....
As we counted down to the big day, I realized that my future wife had a lot of tasks for me and the boys to do on the day of. Way too many things for me to do and also get ready/ enjoy the day. A friend of ours actually knew Camila and suggested we hire her to help. Boy, oh boy, am I glad that I did. She was not afraid to roll up her sleeves and climb up on chairs with me hanging butterflies in trees, sweating in the heat of a July afternoon. She ran around setting everything up as if it was her own wedding and got every detail done, with time to spare. With such a small budget you wouldn't think that we would have room to pay for a coordinator, but Camila worked with us and charged us for the hours she spent setting up and then she took off after we said I do! It was exactly what we needed to get the day done.
If you are looking for a wedding coordinator look no further! Camila Perry Events is your one stop shop! Cam is amazing- she’s attentive, organized, reliable and creative. She helped with everything! I couldn’t have done it without her and all her hard work. She is all about the details! Things that I missed or forgot she had it all taken care of already. All her vendors and crew are amazing as well. All in all the best experience we had! Our wedding went on without one single issue! She had it all covered. It was the best day ever and we couldn’t have done it without Camilla Perry Events!
Camila and team acted as our day-of-coordinator and I am so grateful for all the hard work they put in! We kept things as simple as possible, a picnic theme in Griffith Park. But even simple is stressful. Camila made herself available to tour the venue, set up the decor, handled music, offered food and helped guest during the reception, and cleaned up at the end of the night. The day just wouldn't have happened without her. She asks the right questions, is organized, super sweet, and does the most AMAZING JOB! 5 stars isn't enough. Thank you Camila!!!!
I’ve just started working with Camila and even though I’m only using her for day-of coordination, she has been super helpful! She spent 1 hour on the phone with us for our initial consultation and then spent ANOTHER hour with us on the phone when I decided I had more questions! We hadn’t even booked her yet and she had already spent two hours helping us find direction. I really felt like I was talking to an old friend on the phone who was helping me plan my wedding. She’s been in constant contact with us since we booked her and I’m confident that she will help our wedding vision come to life.
It goes without saying that planning any event can be stressful, even starting with the first phase of finding a wedding planner & then all throughout the process . . hoping that they hear your vision and execute to perfection.
From the first phone call, Camila Perry Events put me at ease and answered all the questions I didn't even have to ask. They made me feel supported & relieved right away, knowing that I had found the perfect match. Everyone I spoke to was always extremely pleasant & informative and communication response was fast (*which is important when I am freaking out about something!). Leading up to the wedding I was actually very calm and not worried, based on all experience thus far. The day of was PERFECT from beginning to end. Everything was coordinated so smoothly and the staff had such a great attitude & were so professional and fun. My guests commented how it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to. I highly recommend the Camila Perry Events team to anyone looking to truly ENJOY the process of having a wedding that will be a memorable experience for all.
I just have to say for a bride on a budget, my best decision was to bite the bullet and book Camila for my planner. She’s actually much less expensive than most planners I spoke with! I decided to do her “Partial Shabang” and since I followed her in Instagram I saw that she did a special Valentine’s Day promo (since so many people get engaged I guess) and offered 10% off any package right after I got engaged last year. We got married a year later and Camila was more than helpful with everything! It was almost like having a second maid of honor- except I was paying her so I didn’t have to worry about hurting her feelings haha. She went above and beyond what she was supposed to do for the package. For example, she zoomed over last minute and helped make flower arrangements when I was having a meltdown, because all my bridesmaids were late and/ or drunk. She came up with “thrifty” ways to make our money work, it made it seem like a $60k wedding even though we only had $20k to spend. I just have to say I never knew Dollar Tree had so many hidden treasures... just like Camila! She is a gem!
Camila and Rick were the best!! I hired Camila to help plan and coordinate our wedding and she brought Rick with to help her with all the details day of- they both were wonderful!! We initially weren’t going to hire a coordinator but let me tell you, not only were her prices reasonable right off the bat, but for day-of coordination Camila and Rick were worth their weight in gold, I would have paid double what I paid (I did tip them even though that’s not customary to show how much I appreciated them).
We have friends who are big drinkers, yet we were also on a budget, so it was important that we find a venue that allowed us to bring in our own bar. Let me tell you, it was not easy to find both a venue that allowed the BYOB and could fit 150 people. I spent hours trying to find a venue, then I decided I should hire a coordinator to help me with this because it was just occupying too much of my life! Camila was great with helping us both find vendors that fit our budget but also didn’t compromise style. She was the one that suggested we could get more bang for our buck if we could choose a Friday evening or a Sunday to get married on because many venues offered deep discounts. Well, she helped us secure an amazing venue (The Houdini Estate) which would have otherwise been out of our budget, but she found out that they offer Sundays at half price if we were just using the grounds and not the house! So many people thought our wedding must have been twice as expensive, simply because the venue was so great! Camila helped curate the bar, it was well stocked and we even created a custom cocktail at her bar to offer the guests. We actually decided to use her bar staff too and were not disappointed. Ashley and Jennifer were so amazing- friendly, quick, And whenever there was a lull in service they would come out and bus glasses and see if anyone wanted anything from the bar. Our wedding wasn’t too crazy, but it was a very DIY wedding so there were SO MANY DETAILS TO COORDINATE!!! We made our own centerpieces, I made my own favors, bright all kinds of decorations, and it all had to be set up on the same day because there was a wedding at the venue the day before. I can’t say enough about Camila’s team that day, they got every detail just right and I was thouroughly impressed. All I have to say is hire her and her staff, you won’t regret it.
We got married this past October and let me say, hiring Camila as our “day-of” coordinator was once of the best decisions we made. Initially I thought, “my friends and I can do this ourselves” which in many ways was true of the pre-planning process, because I’m a very DIY kind of gal, but when it came to the day of my wedding I was so glad I had put someone else in charge. I was so busy being the bride and all that has to go with it, I didn’t have time to also be running the show. Camila and I had several conversations about how I wanted my wedding run, I gave her a detailed timeline letting her know where and when everything was supposed to happen... etc and she executed everything exactly as I wanted. Also, even though we only hired her for day-of coordination, she was always available when I had questions about vendors, she was quick with her responses and she helped me secure discounts with several my vendors because I was working with her. She also included with our day-of package, a one hour cocktail creation session with her and her mixologist at the bar she owns. We were able to come up with a fun custom cocktail that we could offer our guests which gave our reception that little something special that you don’t always see at weddings. Anyway, Camila is awesome, reasonably priced and well worth the money. Highly recommend!
Camila is amazing. Like most people, my wedding day was one of the most fun, but also one of the biggest days of my life (which can be stressful). Camila took care of EVERYTHING. She was patient with us, when helping us figure out exactly what we wanted for our wedding, and when the time came the day of, she delivered! This is a woman who isn’t afraid to work hard or get her hands dirty for the cause. Thank you so much Camila! Our wedding was beautiful and stress-free because of you!
