Camilla’s was the first and only bridal salon I went to in my search! I was so nervous about the process but Nivia put me at ease right away. Camilla’s has a huge and beautiful selection of dresses in every style. I never felt pressured to buy or try on styles I wasn’t interested in. Nivia also helped me find the perfect accessories, including a veil and add-on sleeves which completed the look perfectly. Highly, highly recommend!!

Camilla's was hands down my best bridal salon experience in the search for "the dress." I had a terrible first bridal appointment at another salon, and so I was really nervous about going to try again. Nivia made me feel comfortable, pushed me to try things outside of my comfort zone, and really made me feel beautiful and bridal. I ended up getting my dress elsewhere just because it was "the one," but I will definitely be recommending everyone I know who is getting married to go to Camilla's. If I had the budget, I truthfully would have gotten a second dress here!

Camilla's was so wonderful throughout the course of my two year engagement, including the transition into COVID. They were helpful, patient, not pushy, and all around a pleasure. I went to a few of the larger stores and felt like I was on display, but felt comfortable and welcome at Camilla's. Definitely recommend!

I highly recommend Camilla's! I got my wedding dress at Camilla's and the experience was absolutely fantastic. Nivia was so helpful, attentive, and made the shopping experience so enjoyable for me and my group. Nivia also did an expert job of taking my measurements and when my dress came in, it fit me perfectly (I only needed minor alterations with strap length). I got so many compliments on my wedding dress, it truly was amazing. Camilla's is a small family business and so the personal attention and customer service you receive with shopping/buying/ordering/altering a wedding dress is unmatched. There was also zero sales pressure which I greatly appreciated. A fantastic shop with beautiful dresses and amazing service!

The owner Nivia made the dress shopping experience so perfect and enjoyable for me and my group. I had forgotten when I booked my appointment months earlier that she had asked me to share my wedding dress Pinterest board with her. When I arrived, she had already pulled many dresses that she thought would fit my style. She couldn't have been more on point. I liked nearly every dress I tried on, narrowing it down to a couple that I loved, and finally to the beautiful Maggie Sottero dress I chose. She was also very easy to work with, responsive, and helpful in coordinating alterations and recommending accessories. I also worked with her mother from time to time, and she was great, as well. I went to David's Bridal before coming here, and the two experiences couldn't have been more different. I can't recommend this shop enough. Thanks for everything, Nivia!

I had been to 3 other bridal salons before Camilla's and tried on at least 8 dresses on at each. I was getting that "ugh I guess I'll just pick one" feeling, but when I started trying on dresses here I found THE dress that I fell in love with. Their selection of dresses is so gorgeous and well-curated; I wanted something classic and simple, and they had several that met the bill. They are all SO friendly and positive and not at all pushy, which was so relieving. They let me go back in after I bought the dress to try the sample on again, since my MOH wasn't able to be at the appointment where I purchased. I also had my alterations done here, and the dress came out beautifully. She had the exact right bustle that tucked my train under so the dress was one length all around - it made dancing so easy and looked awesome in photos. Don't miss stopping here when you're shopping for your dress!

I cannot say enough good things about Camilla's and I'd recommend them to any bride or mother of the bride/groom. They honestly knew what I wanted in a wedding dress better than I did, and they found me a dress that I absolutely loved, even though it was completely different than what I had gone into my appointment saying I wanted. They were able to also pair it with a perfect belt and veil, and switch out the belt that came with the dress for an alternate belt. I loved that my dress ended up being a custom design for their shop - so unique! Finally, I moved out of the state by the time the dress had come into the shop, but they very very kindly mailed it to me for no extra charge. I can't recommend them enough!!!

I had a great expereince trying on dresses at Camilla's and saying "yes to the dress" however, this expereince did not continue once my dress came in. They ordered me the wrong size and claimed I lost a ton of weight and that's why my dress was so big. Once the dress came in they weren't helpful. I went somewhere else for alterations and had 9 fittings (which my alteration lady said was a record for her in the 30 years she's been doing this)....this dress was not a complicated dress it was because it was 2 sizes too big. It really reuined what should have been a fun expereince during the last couple months leading up to my wedding. Instead, it caused a ton of stress and money. If you go here, make sure to advocate for your correct size and question their measurements before they place the order.

From my first appointment to my last fitting I cannot say enough good things about Camilla's! They were not pushy at all and helped me find the perfect dress. I also got my bridesmaid dresses from them. Both the wedding gowns and bridesmaid dresses were reasonably priced. Throughout the entire process, the staff at Camilla's was easy to work with and kept me informed about the status of my orders. The seamstress also did an amazing job on my gown!

I bought my wedding dress at Camilla's for my wedding which was in July. The shopping and alteration experiences were so personalized, easy and stress-free. Camilla's is a wonderful shop and my mom and I really enjoyed the time we spent in the tight-knight, family environment. Also, there were so many wonderful dress options at reasonable prices, it was hard to pick! I highly recommend going to Camilla's to look for a wedding dress- I am sure you will find something perfect :)

The owner at Camilla was wonderful from the moment I stepped in the shop until I found my dress! She helped me find dresses according to the styles I described and stuck to the budget I gave her. She was ready to give her opinions when asked and was great in helping me make the decision. I bought my wedding dress at Camilla's bridal and everything went perfectly from the first visit to the final fitting! Maria was so helpful when I was trying to decide on a dress and accessories, and my alterations came out perfectly! I had an amazing experience working with Camilla's to purchase and alter my wedding dress. Nivia, Maria, and Violette are kind, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. When I entered the store I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted, and they were able to accommodate me and never pressured me into trying something I wasn't comfortable with. Ladies of Boston, this is the place to go when shopping for your wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses, or mother of the bride dresses! Nivia was fantastic! My family and friends all live in Virginia, so I went to my initial consult and most of my fittings alone (my mom was able to make it up for one of the fittings). Nivia, her mom, and her sister all made me feel like I was part of their family – they knew me by name when I arrived for my appointments or called in with questions, and Nivia was incredibly helpful and honest in assisting me with customizing my dress. When I first arrived, Nivia was great in selecting different types of dresses to try. She gave me her sincere opinion of what looked good and guided me through the process – I really appreciated that about her since I was there alone and was pretty open to any and all suggestions. In the end, she and the seamstress came up with a fabulous idea for customizing my dress. I LOVED it and received hundreds of compliments on it at my wedding. I could not have been happier with their services and help!

Camilla's was great. Everyone was so friendly, and I actually felt like I was part of their family. They have every type of gown imaginable, their tailor did fantastic alterations (she literally de-volumized my dress because I loved the top but thought the bottom was a bit too-princessy for my liking), and I greatly appreciated that unlike other places, they do not pressure you AT ALL into purchasing a dress. My dress was gorgeous and I got compliments all night. This was my third stop in looking for a gown, but it would made my life easier if it had been my first. I would highly recommend them!!

The crew at Camilla's is absolute perfection. I'm so glad we went to this bridal shop first and I did not have to look any further because there selection is amazing and their showroom is beautiful. I found the perfect gown for my beach wedding! I went in several times for alterations and the process was seamless - I ended up with a gown that fit perfectly on me and was perfect for the occasion. Absolutely do not come here. The women working were totally rude, ignored me entirely throughout my scheduled appointment. The shop had sub-par selection of bridesmaids gowns. Decent selection of wedding gowns but, considering they ignored me the whole time, I didn’t bother.

Camilla's is a wonderful bridal store. The women who work there are so friendly and helpful, they made the dress-buying process go so smoothly. I tried on a lot of dresses until they found the perfect dress. Getting the dress in, scheduling alterations and everything was also a dream. They also delivered the dress to my apartment after I needed to get some minor things fixed a few days before the wedding!

Camilla's is excellent! I found my wedding dress there last year. Unfortunately they didn't have it in my size and wouldn't be able to get it in time for my wedding, but the staff was fantastic and recommended other places that might have it in stock. They were so nice and really tried to help me find the dress I wanted.

I traveled from Pittsburgh to buy my dress close to family, and these women made our day! I only tried on 7 or 8 gowns before I said yes to a unique Maggie dress that wowed on my wedding day!

Camilla's is a beautiful bridal boutique! I tried on five or six dresses before they suggested the dress I wore on my wedding day. It was stunning, and I'm so grateful it was found for me! I had my dress altered there as well, and the seamstress was great!

Camilla's was such a wonderfully friendly place where I felt super comfortable trying on dresses. Not only that, but the team there knew exactly what to bring me so I found my wedding dress within five dresses! PLEASE go to Camilla's; they will find your dress and make you feel so comfortable doing it.

I cannot say enough good things about Camilla's! The salon is quaint (we were the only ones there for our weekday appointment!) but has a TON of selection, and Maria and her daughter made me and my mother feel so comfortable shopping there. I got the perfect dress! And just as importantly, the seamstress they use is phenomenal! She made that dress fit me like a glove, and we had as many fittings as it took for me to feel 100% beautiful in the dress. I couldn't imagine getting my dress anywhere else!!

Had a great experience at Camillas! The women who work here are so friendly and helpful. This was the first place I tried on dresses and it's definitely a great place to start. They let you look around and pick dresses you like (so much fun!) but then as you are trying things on they bring you other dresses they think will be good. This is a great method and allows you to shop but also they give you the guidance you need to find something that will look great on you. I tried on the dress I ultimately picked here. Then I went to a few more stores that day. I wanted to come back and try on two of my favorites and they were so accommodating - letting me come in after work without a formal appointment. I also got my dress altered here. The dress fit perfectly after alterations! My dress was very form fitting so it was important it fit well. I was so happy with the way I looked on the wedding day.

I opted to hunt for a wedding gown first at Camilla's last fall and ended up finding my dress on the first try! The woman we worked with was very experienced, very laid back, super friendly, and not at all pushy, which was exactly what I needed. She would offer her input only after my guests and I gave ours, and she would base it simply on how she thought I felt in each dress. She'd clearly been doing this for a while and knew exactly what she was talking about. I was so indecisive and so I gave her very little direction to work with and she still managed to pull the dress I ended up choosing! After ordering the dress I opted to do alterations at Camilla's as well through their seamstress. Though there was a bit of back and forth between her saying that certain alterations were possible or impossible and then going back on her word, and though I had to go to a couple extra fittings, the seamstress was calm and kind and ultimately my dress fit beautifully on the day of my wedding. Thank you so much, Camilla's!

My experience at Camilla's was one of my favorite aspects of my entire wedding planning process! From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted with warm smiles and immediately felt welcomed. I was able to try on as many dresses as I liked without pressure of being rushed... and we were allowed to take pictures! Maria was a wonderful salesperson. She made wonderful suggestions and had such an excited reaction when I tried on my dream dress and loved it, that I couldn't help but love it even more! The clean, welcoming, and warm feeling of the small shop was the icing on the cake. I'd recommend Camilla's to any of my friends for a wonderful and personalized wedding dress shopping experience. I got my beautiful Essense of Australia dress here. It was a wonderful experience. I also got my dress alterations done on site and they were perfect. I was a happy bride and would definitely recommend them!

I could go on and on about how incredible this place is!!!! I went to one salon before coming to Camilla's & it felt very impersonal and I did not feel like a bride. At Camilla's, they treat you like you are the only bride in the world, are incredibly helpful, and beyond sweet. Maria was an absolute dream to work with & made me feel so special. She let me pick out as many dresses as I wanted & she also had some amazing choices/ideas of her own. She is a true professional. I tried on a bunch of dresses but both Maria and my sister wanted me to try on one different style. They both picked out a dress for me & it happened to be the same dress! I had also pinned this dress on Pinterest a while back. Of course, it ended up being the one!! I got so excited to come try on my dress every time & my alterations were perfect. I'm sad my wedding is over because I want to keep going back! I cannot say enough amazing things about this adorable, personal & family run store. You will not be disappointed.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Camilla's! It was my first and only stop when shopping for my wedding gown. I went in without much of an idea about what I wanted, and fell in love with the fourth gown I tried on. I went back with my maids of honor and family, and purchased that same gown. The selection of dresses is incredible. They are all beautifully made, and were within a budget we were comfortable with. Nivia and Maria made us feel at home at every visit. Their alterations specialist, Violette, worked diligently to make sure my dress fit perfectly. Camilla's came highly recommended from my best friend, and have already told my friends who are brides to be that it's the best!

There is really nothing negative to say about Camillas! They were the 2nd salon we went to and they completely blew the other away. All of the assistants are super informed of their inventory, and really pull dresses that fit your criteria. There were about 6 people with me and the salon was very accommodating, we never felt rushed or like we were in the way. I am so happy Camillas is where I ended up getting my dress from!

Simply amazing!! Not only are they extremely nice (family run shop- mom & daughters), but they know what they are doing! They have an AMAZING selection of gowns in a wide variety of styles, so you can't go wrong. I went to 4 different bridal salons and Camilla's was by far the best, even better than my trip to Newbury St. The dresses are very reasonably priced and look so much more rich and expensive then they are. I picked many dresses and the one I chose was actually not even my pick, but the mother's!! I could not be more impressed with the service, selection and overall experience - you cannot go wrong here!!

After a long and sometimes trying day of wedding dress shopping, Camilla's was a welcome breath of fresh air. Maria was so warm and welcoming, and is clearly a pro! She slipped a dress into my fitting room that I would never have chosen myself, but lo and behold it is now going to be my dress! All of the ladies working were very accommodating, and they were eager to help me come in again the next day so my sister, who had to miss the appointment, could see the dress on me. I can't say thank you enough to Camilla's and I look forward to working with them through the alteration process.

The ladies at Camilla's are a dream come true. The first shop I went to was so overwhelming. Here they had just enough option, and none of the prices were exorbitant so I didn't have to fear picking the dreaded over budget dress. It felt very personal and they were always very responsive. I went in swearing I wouldn't by the style I ended up with. But I LOVED it and my husband was so happy that I had chosen that style of dress. My father was not there when I first found it, but he wanted to be. So the ladies worked with me to set everything up to make it seem as though he was there for "finding" the dress. Pulled the perfect styles to lean him in that direction. The alterations made it fit like a glove. Perfection! Thank you all so much!

Nivia at Camilla's Bridal is secretly magical. No, seriously. I went to Camilla's on the one day overlap my mom and my sister had in Boston after Thanksgiving, wanting to at least get the experience of wedding dress shopping with them the first day out even if I had to actually buy one another day without them. I hate shopping, and I only a rough idea what I wanted, so I was not expecting success. After I'd tried on about 6 dresses I'd picked out, Nivia picked out something that wasn't at all what I thought I would like, and asked me to try it on just in case.g. It. Was. PERFECT. One hour, seven dresses, dreams made. Later she told me she thought that dress was right for me right when I walked in, but didn't want to lead me away if I wanted something else. The staff at Camilla's were so kind and accommodating throughout the whole process, and I am so lucky I got to work with them!

My daughter was married at the Ritz in Boston in July 2016. Her gown and veil was bought at Camilla's in Arlington. The gown was spectacular and my daughter looked heavenly. We visited 6 other bridal shoppes in the Boston area and it was only at Camilla's that we had many more choices than at any of the other places. Not only that, but it was such a pleasure to work with Maria and her daughter. They know their stuff when it comes to choosing and selecting wedding gowns. And the woman who does their alterations (Alterations by Violette) was also such a joy to work with. The most positive experience finding, buying and altering the gown at Camila's. I miss seeing those women!

I had an appointment at Camilla's this last Saturday to shop for my wedding dress, and they were absolutely lovely. They didn't quite have what I was looking for, but they were very attentive and kind and presented me with a great selection. I never felt rushed or pressured, and I appreciated that they didn't work under the assumption that I would buy a dress at the end of the appointment. This was the second shop I went to and maybe the first was just such a standout, but this experience was very lack luster to me. The dress selection was outstanding but compared to other consultants who helped to discern different details and styles, mine was silent the majority of my appointment. She couldn't be found on several occasions to help me in and out of dresses after putting me in the dressing room, even though the store was rather quiet. She was very pleasant and no one was out right rude but I didn't feel I had any help in narrowing down decisions or some expert guidance. They also seemed very disinterested in my purchase and wrote down the style I liked at the end of my appointment and sent me on my way without measurements, etc. in case I decided to purchase the dress. I'd still recommend the store for it's selection but don't expect a very special experience.

Would highly recommend Camilla's Bridal. They had a great selection and worked with me every step of the way- finding the dress, making it perfect, choosing the right accessories, doing alterations etc. When Maria could tell that I was slightly uncomfortable in my otherwise perfect strapless dress she came up with a perfect solution. The straps she suggested making -using my extra lace- came out amazing (thanks Violet!!!) and looked like they were part of the original dress. Having had such a great experience there finding my dress, I went back to Camilla's for my bridesmaids dresses. Once again Maria and Violet worked with me and my bridesmaids to make the dresses perfect. Both myself and my bridesmaids received many compliments on our dresses. Best of all, we all felt comfortable (and looked beautiful) all night. Thanks Camilla's!!!!

I got my wedding dress at Camilla's (Maggie Sotero's Melanie dress) for a great price. Maria and Nivia were very helpful, and I loved the small boutique feel of the place. Everything went smoothly with trying on the dress, purchasing it, and getting it fitted; they even had someone on site who was able to do alterations for me. I highly recommend getting your dress here!

Camilla's feels like you're in a high-end shop, but get the treatment of an intimate family-run business. The dresses all felt so "rich" and beautiful. Between the mom and her daughters everyone there tag teams to help make sure you're always attended to. I ultimately did not buy my dress here, but regardless would highly recommend other brides-to-be to include Camilla's in their dress shopping hunt!

Camilla's Bridal and Nivia, the owner, were absolutely wonderful to work with! When I went into Camilla's initially with my mother and sisters to shop for a dress, Nivia made us feel comfortable and only pulled dresses within the budget I had shared with her. She knew the designers and their lines really well so looking at dresses was easy and fun. Nivia and her mother were also very kind. The dress I ended up selecting was beautiful. Nivia and her mother suggested a bridal belt and veil that tied everything together. I felt beautiful! They were also very responsive to questions and made scheduling appointments easy. Their seamstress, Violet, was also amazing. Although the initial fitting was at the store, Violet let me meet her at her house for my second fitting on a weekend so my sisters could come. I highly recommend Camilla's Bridal to any bride!

Camilla's was the first place I went to try on wedding dresses. I absolutely loved the experience. I worked with Maria - the sweetest person ever! She really listened to what I liked/didn't like about what I was trying on and brought different selections based on my comments. I also loved that Maria's first comment to me was, "Don't even think about purchasing something today. Try everything on, sleep on it and then give me a call if you'd like to order something." I really appreciated not being pressured to make a decision on the spot. I went to another bridal salon afterwards and was put off my how much pressure they put on me. In the end, I didn't purchase anything from Camilla's because I wound up buying a dress online. But I really loved the experience - of trying on different styles and everything in an actual salon with my mom and maid of honor.

I went wedding dress shopping with my mom at another shop and couldn't find anything. We decided to try Camilla's and made the last appointment for the day. It was perfect! We were the only people in the store and the owner's mother was there to help us. We told her my price range and she picked out a bunch of gowns for me to try on. We found one that I really liked but I wasn't completely sold. It was $100 over budget and a little poof-ier than I wanted. She heard my mother mention that she sews and offered to sell us the floor sample for $400 cheaper than ordering one would be. (The sample was clean and pretty much pristine, so we went for it.) She walked my mother step-by-step on how to take in the dress and other great ideas. Through her advice, we ended up taking out 3 petty coats and it looked much better. My mother spent a lot of time getting the dress to fit just right but it came out beautifully.

Purchased my dress and veil at Camilla's and got a ton of compliments!! Also had a great experience working with them. Initially found my dress online and could not locate in a store. The ladies at Camilla's went out of their way to contact me when the dress I had inquired about unexpectedly arrived in their store. No other bridal salon I visited was nearly so accommodating or thoughtful. I have recommended them to anyone dress shopping!

I cannot say anything bad about this shop! I found my dress at two locations and decided to go with Camilla's due to the friendly, personal attention I received each and every time I went in. Many times I went in to try things on, spur of the moment, and was never given any grief about it :) I felt like the shop was smaller than most I looked at, but they had so many beautiful gowns, instead of a mixture of beautiful and so-so. I could easily narrow down my decision. I bought my dress a year out, and lost a substantial amount of weight. The seamstress really impressed me with the fit of the dress when all completed; she had her work cut out for her. She was very reasonable too! My MOH is getting married and we are going dress shopping at Camilla's in a few weeks :) These women are the best and truly love what they do.

I only went to a few bridal shops to look for my wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses, but it's not hard to say that Camilla's is one of the better ones in the area. As soon as I walked in, I felt welcome and it actually looked like a place you would want to buy a wedding dress, as opposed to some of the other places which look like warehouses with a waiting room. At Camilla's, they let you pick out your own dresses from the racks and you can take pictures (both things prohibited at some other stores). I picked out a few styles when I went in the first time, and then they grabbed some other ones to suggest. I ended up buying my dress there, and went back for 3 fittings because I had a halter strap added, the dress was hemmed, and also we took out some stitches from the fabric to make the dress hang better. The staff there have a good eye for what will look good or not. I was generally happy with the experience there.

I was desperately looking for a bridal dress. I had tried quit a few of the larger bridal shops with no luck. I had driven by Camilla's and decided to give them a call. It was the best call I could have made. After speaking with Maria over the phone she was able to find me the perfect dress. The customer service and dedication to her customers is wonderful!

Please visit Camilla's if you can. This place is fantastic! The team is adorable and super helpful with making this big decision. They will also give their honest opinion on how the dress looks on you which is great. After I purchased my dress here, I bothered them so many times to come in and try it on again and they were super accommodating. Maria also made my veil which was from my mother's wedding dress and I was blown away by her work, it was beautiful! I honestly cannot say one single negative about this place or the staff. You guys are the best!

I bought my bridal gown at Camilla's and I had a great experience. The girl's at Camilla's did a great job finding dresses for me based on my preferences and feedback on the first 1 or 2 dresses I tried on. After my first visit, I worked mainly with Maria (I think her name was Maria, she is the shop owner's mother) and she was so wonderful. She was always so enthusiastic and positive and gave excellent feedback and advice regarding potential alterations. My dress from Essence of Australia came out beautifully! I would recommend future brides to Camilla's. The seamstress that Camilla's recommended (Violet) was also a great experience and I would recommend her to other brides as well.
