Cana Barn

My husband and I got married on September 18th of this year! During covid, wedding planning was extra stressful BUT having Kristin and Kara helped us through the whole process!! In fact, it even made wedding planning fun. They even let us use the tiny house that they built on their land. My mom loved staying in the tiny house. Kristin was our officiant for our wedding and I can’t tell you how many people came up to me saying how beautiful the service was. If you want a beautiful ceremony and really be apart of what the wedding ceremony should be, I would pick Cana barn. They really help you with the process and find the right words to express the couple. I was very pleased with everything!! Everything went smoothly! They are very understanding and caring people. It’s a beautiful venue, if I had to go back and choose a venue, I would still choose Cana barn in a heart beat! ❤️

We rented Cana Barn, signed agreement and paid full price. The COVID-19 hit and our event was canceled. We expected to lose our $500 deposit, but THEY KEPT AN ADDITIONAL $600, which is bad business, unfair, and unprofessional. Go somewhere else!!!

We held our wedding and reception at Cana Barn in September 2018. We met Kristin and Kara while the barn was still under construction – they welcomed us into the barn and shared their ultimate vision for the venue with us, and we fell in love with the location, the scenery, and them. In the months leading up the wedding, Kristin and Kara were very accommodating and were great to work with, including allowing us to visit the barn multiple times prior to the wedding to see the progress. They were professional and helpful throughout the process, helping us brainstorm various elements of the wedding to make sure we got it just right. They went out of their way to go the extra step for us, even up to constructing a beautiful arch for us to be married under out of remaining wood from the barn reconstruction. As an added bonus, Kristin also agreed to act as our officiant for our wedding – she prepared a lovely service tailored to us that both we and all of our wedding guests loved. The space itself is beautiful. Due to Hurricane Florence coming in that weekend, we had to move our ceremony inside, but in the end were happy we did because the space was perfect for both the ceremony and the reception. We were able to incorporate the downstairs patio for our reception, and used the upstairs balcony as a great spot for a photo booth for our guests. We would definitely recommend the Cana Barn to anyone looking for a beautiful venue in the mountains or in this area.

Cana Barn was the perfect place for our wedding reception. Kristin and Kara were responsive to every question I had and extremely helpful in recommending vendors, suggesting layouts, and making sure everything was in order for the big day. The barn is absolutely beautiful, and the space functions perfectly for a wedding. The bridal suite is the perfect place to get ready, the kitchen ensures that the caterers have space, and the real bathrooms are one of the best things about a barn venue! The view from the upper balcony is amazing for photographs. Kristin and Kara will certainly ensure everything is perfect for your special day! I HIGHLY recommend this venue!
