C&J Catering

C&J did an excellent job for our 50th wedding anniversary reception. The facilities, staff and food were excellent. Everyone enjoyed the crab cakes. We were disappointed with the lemon cake--it was dry and did not have a strong lemon flavor. We will use C&J again.

The staff were an absolute delight to work with, making sure our special day was fantastic. The food was to die for and everyone was so friendly, I’d recommend them to anyone looking for catering

Obsessed with this place! The people, the food, the vibes ALL wonderful. You can not go wrong here. Kelly and Shi are absolutely amazing. If I had to do it all again I would do it here! I had the best night of my life!

The food was great, but my recommendations are to have someone at the tables for serving stations. Also the have food closer together. Food was far away, so food got cold by the time we got to the table. Also, the Line was long for guest. Guest started going for dessert because of the wait. The employees were nice also.

We used C&J for our catering, floral and design, and day-of-coordinating needs on our October 2nd wedding. The food was phenomenal. Everything was cooked perfectly (for anyone who does book, please try the salmon at your tasting!), presentation was beautiful, service was exceptional. I got so many compliments on the waitstaff from our guests! They did an awesome job. I also booked them for our rehearsal dinner and brunch the morning afterwards, and was so glad I did, they did an amazing job with those buffet events as well. C&J and especially Danielle, Jim, and Courtney, thank you for taking care of us on our wedding weekend.

I recently worked with C&J Catering for my wedding. They were more than wonderful and handled everything for me, from cake to flowers to food to day of planning. It made my life so much easier to have everything done in one nice package. The day of could not have went more smoothly and the food was delicious. I still have guests commenting on how great the food was! All of the staff were so accommodating and gracious. Planning a wedding can be more than stressful, but they really pulled out all the stops and eased my nerves. I'm so grateful I had the opportunity to work with them. Any event, large or small, I'll be sure to reach out to them again. Seriously, everything they did for me was top notch, five stars over and over again!!

Hire this catering company! Their food was out of this world on our wedding day. I have never heard more compliments on wedding food than I did at our wedding. The presentation was flawless, the food was hot and so yummy! They were very accommodating during the pandemic and still provided us food to go to taste test when making selections for our big day. Also with some unexpected hiccups in our guest count, they provided the meals to go. Thank you Contessa and team!

We used C & J Catering for our event. Due to COVID-19, we had to move our event outdoors. They were very flexible and worked with us to ensure a wonderful celebration. We were very pleased with the service and the food was delicious.

We used C&J for our wedding at The Star Barn in Elizabethtown. They allowed me to customize anything I needed including needing a vegan kids option. Whenever I had a concern, they were right there with answers and fixed any issue I had. The plated meal the day of my wedding went off without a hitch and in no time at all. Everyone complimented the cocktail hour and Chrissy ran a tight ship on food, making sure everything was perfect! Contessa was our day of coordinator through them. I have never been more thankful for a person then I was for Contessa on our wedding day. If you are booking C&J, request Contessa (she is hands down freaking fabulous in every single way possible). My favorite phrase of my wedding day was, "Go find Tessa, she will take care of it". From blow drying my sister's dress when a drink got spilled on her to helping me get cleaned up at the end of the night, she was the best friend I didn't know I needed on that day!

We were forced to use C&J Catering because we had our wedding at the Star Barn. The Star Barn was a beautiful venue, but it was a shame that we had to use C&J Catering for our food and beverage service. I am only giving them 1 star simply for the food - the food itself was delicious, hot and served quickly. However, all other aspects of dealing with the company was bad - the staff, the bartenders at the wedding, the day of coordinator and email professionalism. The bartenders were rude to guests (the groom and brother of the bride, notably), they did not set up our drink station in enough time, they did not chill enough alcohol and lied to myself (the bride), the groom, parents of the bride/groom and guests telling them that we ran out of alcohol, when we did not. Our guests with food allergies were not served their dessert that we specifically ordered for them. I would not recommend!

My husband and I used C&J for our wedding at The Star Barn. I was very hesitant about not being able to explore any other caterers since we were required to use them. I didn’t feel like they offered enough options for appetizers and after attending several weddings leading up to ours, we decided we needed to add a few more cocktail hour choices, at an additional cost, of course. No real complaints about the food. It was decent. We decided to also use C&J for our flowers and cake/cupcakes. Leah had always been my point of contact for the flowers. She encouraged us to come to the office to meet and review what we wanted at our wedding. Honestly it felt like wasted time. They had just moved into their new office and she had little to show me, after our long trip to Harrisburg. After our meeting, I had several emails go unanswered from her and was eventually told she was no longer with C&J and I was given someone else to work with. My biggest issue was the desserts. We had a cake topper for us to cut but offered various cupcakes for our guests. My mom ordered numerous boxes for the guests to take any leftover cupcakes with them after the wedding, that they never got to use. I had several family members stay behind to pack everything up and when they got to the cupcake table, they were GONE. My mom asked several of the C&J staff what had happened to them and someone told her they saw some man and a young boy load them into a truck and drive away. Whoever they were, they were not part of my wedding. None of the staff seemed too concerned that she was upset by this. My mom called the office a few days after my wedding and was given the same story that no one really knew what happened to them. I think this is absolutely ridiculous!! We paid a lot of money and to have all the cupcakes disappear without an explanation, is unacceptable! We were never offered any type of reimbursement or cupcakes to help replace those that went missing. Very unprofessional. Not to mention, there was a large amount remaining because our guests were planning to take them to go. I wish we would have gone somewhere else for our desserts.

We used C&J for catering our wedding food and desserts as well as for day of coordination services. The food was spectacular and the day went so smoothly! We received many compliments on how good the food was from cocktail hour appetizers to end of the evening desserts of assorted whoopie pies and brownies. We also could not have asked for better food and bar service. The day of coordinator was phenomenal as well and helped with all my planning questions. On the day of the wedding, she went above and beyond expectations. We'd highly recommend C&J!

My husband and I used C&J Caterer for our wedding on June 22. When getting married at Ironstone, we had no choice but to use them. Altogether, we were very pleased with how our day turned out with C&J. With full honesty, my husband and I were not too happy after our food tasting. The food was not what it was expected to be, and we prayed it would be much better for our wedding. Come our wedding day, the food was absolutely AMAZING! We chose to do family style, and our guests LOVED that and the food! Not everything goes perfect on a wedding day, and I fully went into my day understanding that. Only thing I would say I was upset on our wedding day, was the lateness of C&J. I was told the tables would be set up the night before so my bridesmaids and I could decorate, well the caterers did not come to set up until 2PM on our wedding day. They also switched my table numbers around, when I originally placed the correct numbers in their spot. I was upset about this, but thankfully my amazing bridesmaids switched that around quickly! Lastly, I did have an original coordinator...but she left. I was then given Contessa as my coordinator and she was amazing! So easy going, professional, knew what she was doing, and helped me stay calm throughout the process. Contessa was so quick to respond to my emails, and would reach out if anything were needed. Best coordinator to work with!! Altogether, the staff at C&J are very accommodating and sweet to work with.

C&J was amazing! I have to give all the props to Danielle for making my day run so smoothly and giving me exactly what I expected on my wedding day. C&J and Danielle went above and beyond in all aspects, I could not have had a more perfect day!

Honestly, I was really disappointed with C&J catering, especially for the money we were paying. Our venue didn’t allow us the option to choose our caterer but we saw the reviews and thought, okay this will be fine. Initially, we were pleased - the manager of C&J catering is amazing. It’s when we met the actual caterers were we’re disappointed... My first caterer assigned to me was... a bit lost... didn’t seem “with it” and I’m an extremely type A and efficient person. Our styles weren’t a mesh. No big deal! C&J said this happens all the time and they assigned me a new person. Everything was fine until a month before the wedding. Our lady insulted my in-laws for our food choices and insinuated that my in laws were stuck up Long Island Italians simply because we didn’t think the amount of food offered in the package was enough. We were offering to pay MORE money so why she got so defensive was beyond me. Additionally, the food ... really not great. Don’t get the chicken - it’s all dry which we found out from the tasting (even though they hardly let us sample normal priced foods and had us mostly eating food from their upscale menu where we would have to pay extra for those items). Items were... disappointing at the tasting so say the least. The cake was great though! I would recommend their bakery. Yum! We went with salmon and vegetables, which we were able to taste, and steak, which was not available to taste but thought, “it’s steak it’ll be fine.” My husband, the groom, barely touched his salmon (although hungry) because his was burnt. Not a little burnt but charred. I HOPE none of our guests food was also burnt but what catering company gives the bride and/or groom burnt food??? Additionally, the vegetables were nothing like what they tasted like at the tasting and the steak had BBQ sauce on it. Very weird. We were told at the end of the night, drink ware and cutlery we brought in would be cleaned and carefully put away. Wrong. Everything was shoved back into boxes, dirty with drink and icing still on them, and their staff broke my unity candles. Really UNimpressed with this place. ***NOTE: this is NOT a reflection on Stone Gables venue. THEY are amazing. C&J needs improvements - the Ironstone Ranch and Star Barn are perfection!

We went with the basic BBQ package and our guests absolutely loved it!

C&J was everything and more than I could have hoped for for our big day! From the very beginning, the staff made us feel like family and were very professional, yet friendly, fun and organized - all of which were very important to us! The C&J staff works really well together from catering to coordinating - it really took the stress off of my husband and I during our bid day. First - the catering/food was amazing. We were receiving compliments all night about how good the food was. We did family style so everything needed to come out hot - and they pulled it off effortlessly. They set up our dessert bar without any input from us (per my request) - and the table looked like a dream! Now for my favorite, the wedding coordinator, Contessa...where do I even begin? I have been working with Contessa for over a year, mainly via email because we don't live in PA. Even when my wedding was still so far out, she was very responsive to my emails and was willing to jump on calls or Facetime to help me work through my planning. She is doing at least 2 weddings per weekend, yet still made a priority to make sure I knew that she was there for me. When it came time for my big day, she blew me away! I am a very type-A when it comes to being organized and thought that I was going to be very stressed the morning of, but I was not stressed at all, and that is all thanks to Contessa. She did everything I needed her to do to a T and is the reason that our day went so smoothly. All morning while myself and my bridesmaids were getting ready she was continually coming to check on me to make sure I was okay or if I needed anything and truly cared about making sure my day was special. There are not enough words to describe how wonderful she is. Without a doubt, I would recommend her, and the entire C&J staff to anyone getting married! I love C&J!

C&J catered our wedding at Ironstone Ranch. Let me just say that C&J far surpassed any expectations that I had. Danielle was an excellent and attentive coordinator - she answered any questions I had, thought of EVERYTHING so that my wedding was flawless, listened carefully to my “vision,” and decorated the ceremony/reception beautifully so I could relax on the day of the wedding. I would recommend C&J and Ironstone Ranch to anyone and everyone!

We got married this past Fall at Ironstone Ranch and had C&J as our caterer. We chose the Enchanted Evening Buffet package. I must admit I was a little nervous that we weren’t going to have enough variety in what we were serving, after all we’ve been to a lot of weddings where the food is outrageously over-the-top but I have to say that everything came out perfect the day of the wedding. The food was even better than it was at the tasting (which is almost unheard of). We received a lot of compliments on how delicious the food was – our guests really liked the brisket and the cauliflower casserole. We also used C&J to provide us with lunch (assorted sandwiches) the day of the wedding, which was also very delicious and provided a really nice variety. Our day of coordinator did a nice job of making sure we were all okay throughout the day and getting us anything we needed.

C&J made sure every detail was perfect For our wedding. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and the staff went above and beyond to make sure our guests were taken care of. I highly recommend this company!

C & J did such a tremendous job at my daughter Diana's wedding which was held at Historic Acres of Hershey. They made the whole reception come together to complete the vision my daughter had. Guests found their tables by looking at window panes provided by C&J. The linens and china provided made the tables look so beautiful! The Bourbon and Bubbly Bar that was set up by them looked picture perfect. The appetizers were certainly a big hit and very tasty. The bartenders were very efficient and kept the drinks rolling. The food was served family style and was absolutely delicious. It was served hot, and there really were plenty of delectable choices for the guests. C&J also set up a very appealing s'mores bar for our guests. Our first coordinator became pregnant, and we were given 2 coordinators to take her place. Kristy and Danielle met with us on numerous occasions and were always available to answer questions. Kristy was simply amazing the evening of the reception. She was on top of all aspects of their responsibilities. She is truly a master at managing her staff and taking care of the guests. I would highly recommend using C&J to make a wedding dream come true.

This company was amazing to work with! We worked closely with Danielle and she made everything possible! I was very impressed that she was there that very day to make sure everything was set up and running smoothly before the event even began! Pam, Leah, and their team did an incredible job. They made beautiful bouquets and boutonnières, arrangements for the church, and even gave us custom flowers to add to centerpieces and our wedding cake. They incorporated personal touches and gave us exactly what we wanted!

We used C&J Catering for our wedding at Ironstone Ranch. These people were amazing - from start to end. We first met with Contessa during our tour at Ironstone Ranch. She was super thorough and gave many ideas. We were assigned Courtney as our wedding coordinator and we had a blast with her every time we met with her! Sadly (but good for her!) she got promoted so we had to switch to Danielle. Danielle was such a sweetheart and so very helpful! She came into our planning process towards the end and it was like she had been there all along. I was so impressed with how she picked up where Courtney left off. She worked with me to make sure every detail was planned accordingly. There are so many food options. We didn't even know what to choose! We finally narrowed it down for our tasting and we were not disappointed at all. The food was fabulous! We received compliments during our wedding about how good their dinners were. Thank you guys for your hard work!

C&J catering food is AMAZING! We got so many compliments about how great everything was! The staff is beyond helpful and on top of their game and our catering coordinator Evon is a ball of fire, she made me so comfortable and I knew she was going to take care of everything! We were married on October 15,2016 at the AACA Museum in Hershey,PA. C&J provided our catering and we were thrilled with our services. Courtney from C&J was incredible and guided us through every step in regards to not only the catering but the decor as well. She also provided us with tons of advice and vendor recommendations. Courtney was always cheerful and beyond helpful and truly made our experience. The food provided by C&J was delicious. We decided on a BBQ station , Pasta station and Salad bar. We also got our cake from C&J and cupcake cones which they happily provided. The cocktail hour food was also delicious , the artichoke dip is delicious. When we set out to find a caterer we were looking for food we would want to eat ! and C&J excelled in it's delivery. We highly recommend C&J and suggest requesting Courtney to work with !!

I honestly do not even know where to start about C&J Catering, there are so many wonderful things I have to say! My husband and I got married at the Ironstone Ranch last weekend and we used C&J Catering and Floral. The food is phenomenal, nothing basic to it. They have a variety of appetizers, main courses and desserts. Everything we tasted on our trial was amazing, and the food at our wedding was perfect. We choose buffet and I was skeptical at first but everything was hot and ready. Evon was our coordinator throughout the planning process. She is such a fun and caring person. She works very hard at her job and it is clear that she loves what she does. She made my day run smooth and never failed to help wherever it was needed. We also used C&J for our floral, they designed the bouquets, boutineers, ceremony arrangements and reception arrangements. everything was beautiful. When I first met with Jill I had a vision of what I wanted and she created it! I tend to be a person that stresses about every single detail, but with Evon around I didn't even panic once!

My daughter was married on September 4, 2016 at Moonstone Manor in Elizabethtown with C&J as the caterers. From our first meeting with Melissa at a Bridal Showcase, we knew we wanted to make an appointment with C&J. We spoke with her again at one of the venues we visited and were still convinced that this was the caterer we wanted. The tasting was delicious! My daughter and her fiancé were thrilled with the choices and how wonderful everything tasted. Melissa allowed us to customize the menu and make changes several times! A week or so before the wedding, Melissa and Eileen met me at our venue and asked me a LOT of questions! I had thought I was pretty organized, but they pointed out all the little details I had forgotten and TOOK CARE OF EVERYTHING! I was so relieved after that meeting. I knew that those women were going to take care of us wonderfully. The day of the wedding Eileen realized that I had forgotten to order napkins for the reception! No problem, she said. She called C&J, and napkins were delivered. She also noted that one table lacked a flower arrangement, and she and Penny (the owner of Moonstone Manor) moved flowers from the ceremony site and artfully arranged them on the lonely table. No one could tell the difference. Eileen, who is as sweet as she is organized, and her staff were wonderful at the reception. The bartenders and waiters were efficient and professional, and the food was fabulous. My guests raved about everything. I have two other daughters, and I wouldn’t hesitate to use C&J catering again. The price and the quality were extraordinary. Thank you, Eileen and Melissa. You made the day a great success.

We made a great decision when we chose C&J Catering for my daughter and son in laws ( Summer & Brandon Bucher) June 25, 2016 wedding at Moonstone Manor. Contessa Kessler was our wedding coordinator. From our first meeting until the day of the wedding she did a fantastic job. She listened to what my daughters vision was and made it happen. Her attention to detail went above and beyond. She was always available for questions during the planning stages. We gave our guests a choice of 3 different plated served meals. The presentation of the food was very appealing and it was delicious. A big hit with the guests was the individual baked potato toppings bar at each table. I would highly recommend this as a choice! The entire staff of C&J on the wedding day was great. All our guests were well taken care of and Contessa made sure every detail was attended to and ran smoothly. I would not hesitate to recommend C&J to anyone planning a wedding and I would highly recommend asking for Contessa to be your coordinator. Bob & Ellen Swigert

We were very happy with the time, effort, experience, and professionalism C&J Catering provided us for our wedding day. They were very helpful in every aspect of wedding planning. I did not know what to expect, or how to even begin to plan a wedding, and the staff at C&J helped me through every step of the way. We trusted them with every piece of the wedding including flowers, cake, food, etc. We highly recommend C&J Catering!

C&J catering put together a delicious menu for our wedding. My fiance and I wanted upscale BBQ and we were able to have that vision completed, along with a unique mash potato bar. C &J assigns each couple a Catering Coordinator and they are your point of contact, which is very convenient. Contessa was very helpful with perfecting our menu, editing it and adding to it multiple times! Outside of that though, if you have a wedding coordinator, having a catering coordinator the day of does seem a little unnecessary, especially for the added cost. Additionally, I had made it very clear that there was a particular item that was very important for me to have on the menu. The day of the wedding I noticed the menu had changed and was only informed when I asked, that the item I specifically requested had been sent to another wedding by mistake. Mistakes happen, but it was a bit of a let down. Overall they have delicious food and are very professional.

C&J is the best! We had our wedding at Ironstone Ranch, where we had C&J cater our event. I can't say enough good things! The food was great, even the budget package, and everyone loved our cupcakes! Not only was the food amazing, but so was the service. I had the pleasure of working with Carol, and she is the best! She honestly felt like my fairy godmother by the end of my night. She was so easy to contact and always had an answer to my questions. She was so helpful in the planning process and genuinely happy for my husband and I. I highly recommend C&J catering! They took all of the stress out of planning and made it an amazing day!!

C&J catering exceeded my expectations! I could not be happier with my decision. I got married at the Ironstone Ranch and at that venue, you have to have C&J cater your wedding. I loved the staff so much that I decided to have them do the floral and décor as well. I also hired a day of coordinator (Evon). The food was amazing, all the guests loved it! They have lots of options and will accommodate to whatever you want. for example, I had a vintage circus themed wedding and wanted sliders for butlered hors d'oeuvres and cotton candy attached to my escort cards. I got exactly that! I also wanted a popcorn machine. They did that for me as well! The flowers they chose to use were beautiful. Went right along with my theme and were a VERY reasonable price being that they were mostly exotic flowers. They arranged them beautifully!nocomplaints. I wanted vintage Pinwheels in different colors and patterns attached to my bridesmaids bouquets which they arranged beautifully. they hand crafted the pin wheels which I thought was cool! As for the décor, OH MY GOSH! was that done beautifully! they did everything down to the smallest detail exactly how I envisioned it! I was terrified to have anyone do the décor for my "crazy" circus themed idea. I was scared it would look tacky but it didn't. All I said to the florist was "I want a vintage/rustic circus themed wedding that kinda looks like it was a scene in the movie Water for Elephants" and they knew exactly what I wanted. They kept in constant contact with me, making sure they had every detail correct, and if I had questions I never felt I was a bother. They were a lively bunch! They make you feel very comfortable and important. They are very professional and definitely know what they are doing! They always thought of things that I didn't and made sure to ask me how I wanted those things done, giving me plenty of options. I loved that the contract was broken down. I got to see exactly what I was being charged for, and I mean every little thing. In the contract they also give you VERY detailed descriptions of what the décor will look like which I liked being that you don't actually get to see it until the day of. It made me feel more at ease to see on paper exactly how it would all be set up. I felt everything was VERY reasonably priced. I added a lot of last minute things. Maybe a day or two before I decided that I wanted Signature drinks (Cotton Candy Vodka and The Pink Elephant which is pink lemonade and vodka). They didn't seem annoyed that I made last minute decisions, in fact they felt completely opposite. They were excited! which I appreciated. You don't realize how many little details go into a wedding until you're planning one and so I'm glad I had Evon (my DOC) to help me along the way. Keeping in touch, making sure I planned out everything that needed to be planned out, making sure rehearsal went as planned and ultimately taking a load of stress off of my shoulders by running the show the day of the wedding. Oh! they also did my stationary! my escort cards and table numbers! they were very unique. Loved them! I was able to keep them after the wedding to put in a scrap book which I appreciated. C&J does it all!

I am so happy with our experience with C&J catering at our wedding. We wanted a meal experience that would resemble something that we would prepare at home. They provided us with an amazing buffet of steak, crabcakes, butternut squash ravioli, asparagus, cornbread, and root vegetables. One of my favorite parts of the wedding planning process was going through their main menu to choose. Everything looked mouthwatering amazing! I would recommend getting several of their smaller desserts rather than a large cake. The oreo dream brownies are everything!

9.26.15 was the BEST day of our lives. We had our wedding at Iron Stone Ranch and used C&J catering for our food and flowers/decor. As someone with a type A personality, I tend to have high expectations. C&J met and exceeded every one of our expectations. The staff members are all so professional and amazing to work with- Alexis & Evon answered every question (there were many) we had and helped us create an amazing day. Evon was our coordinator for most of our planning time and she always made us feel confident that everything would amazing. She is a gem and was such a pleasure to work with. Eileen was so great on our wedding day and made sure that the plans Evon made were executed smoothly. The food was some of the best wedding food ever had (said our guests!) and the service was top notch. Melissa, Pam & Jill from the floral & decor team were amazing. They turned our vision into an amazing reality. We got SO many compliments on our flowers!! If we had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing. C&J Catering was the only caterer who worked with our reception venue, The Peter Allen House, so I was a little concerned since we didn't have much opportunity to shop around. But, in the end, I'm really glad we had C&J. They knew the Peter Allen so well, and were excellent at working the reception space to the best efficiency. All the servers were very polite, and the food was delicious! Our only disappointment was that there were very few leftovers, but maybe that was because the food was so good!

Our initial meetings were with Contessa, she is first rate. As our reception was admittedly a small event, a newer coordinator took over our account. While she was slightly less responsive, she still did an outstanding job. Contessa told us their chiefs grow tired of making the same entrees event after event and like a challenge. We asked for some Indian dishes that were not on the suggested menu, they rose to the challenge. The chiefs listened and made the minor adjustments we requested, and the food at our wedding reception was fantastic. We received numerous compliments and praises from our guests who traveled from all over the US and have travel the world.

I can not say enough about how happy we were to work with C&J throughout every aspect of our wedding, from food to décor to flowers everything was executed beyond our expectations with high quality and professionalism. We had the pleasure of working with Contessa throughout the whole wedding planning process and she was always there to help take are ideas and dreams and make them into a reality. The day of the wedding could not have any better and we are still getting compliments from family & friends about how good the food was. We went for a BBQ theme and it was just delish! C&J was top notch and I would recommend it to anyone, especially if you work with Contessa. Also, we were lucky to have Jamie the owner to help with the execution the day of because we had such a big wedding and both her and Contessa were always around if we needed anything throughout the wedding. Absolutely thrilled we went with them and could not have asked for anything better!

C & J Catering did an excellent job with our wedding. It was enjoyable working with Nicole as we were planning our wedding at Ironstone Ranch. C & J Catering was very accommodating, helping us pick and choose in designing our menu, as well as making accommodations for our cake (due to allergies). The food turned out to be delicious and Nicole along with her staff did an excellent job! Highly recommend C & J Catering to anyone!

C&J Catering went above and beyond to make our wedding day amazing. We had to use this company because of our venue choice, but it worked out wonderfully. Nicole was great at returning calls/emails and keeping us informed. Their prices are very reasonable and you definitely get more than what you pay for. We never felt like we were being "nickled & dimed". We were given the left over food from both our tasting and our wedding, which was great because normally that just gets wasted. On the day of our wedding , I did not feel like I had to worry or micromanage at all because I knew they would have everything taken care of. The staff employees that worked our event were very attentive, professional, and fun. At one point I looked around and noticed they were dancing too, which made me feel like our wedding was a lot of fun (just what we wanted!). Also, at the end of the night, they neatly packed up everything that we had brought to the wedding so that all of our guests got to enjoy the night until the very end and not worry about clean up. I have nothing but positive things to say! I cannot find a page specifically for their floral and design team so this review will be a little long! Melissa did all of our floral arrangements and they were gorgeous. This was another example of getting your moneys worth with this company. I was very conflicted on paying for flowers for one day, but the price was very reasonable in comparison to most of the local florists. Everyone kept complimenting the bouquets and centerpieces, and they were exactly what I wanted. I provided table cards, lanterns, votive candles, and candle holders for the centerpieces and Melissa did a great job at incorporating everything. I almost cried when I saw my wedding venue decorated for the night, because it was absolutely perfect.

We used C&J catering, florals, and coordination for our wedding this September and couldn't be happier with our choice! Every aspect of our wedding was perfection from start to finish and we owe that to C&J. Megan was our day of coordinator and we felt completely at ease knowing that all of the details were in her hands. She knows the wedding industry inside and out and we really trusted her advice and opinions. During the rehearsal she was serious and task oriented but she's also hilarious and fun. Thanks to her organization and attention to detail we were able to be carefree and enjoy the day with our family and friends. Everything went off without a hitch. When I first met with Melissa to talk about florals and design for our wedding, I knew immediately that she would be able to capture my vision perfectly. From the bouquets to the centerpieces, the aisle runner - everything looked better than I could've dreamed. We received so many compliments on the decor, many guests said our wedding looked like it was out of a magazine and was very "pintrest-worthy". The food was amazing, and again we received many compliments - guests said it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. When I began menu planning with Jamie she was able to make great suggestions based off of our likes and dislikes and honestly after the tasting we had a hard time making decisions because everything was so delicious. Nicole did our catering coordinating and she was so nice and very on top of everything. Cocktail hour and dinner service progressed smoothly - we can't say enough great things about the team! Unlike with other vendors we had considered, the staff at C&J really made us feel like they cared about making our important day special. They were prompt at returning emails and remembered details we had talked about previously. Our contract with C&J was itemized line by line which was really helpful because we could see exactly how much various items cost and we could decide exactly what we wanted to save on and splurge for. We really appreciated how they were able to work with us to help fit everything within our budget. C&J helped to make our wedding the most amazing day and if we had to plan it all over again we would choose C&J 10 times out of 10. If you want to relax and enjoy your day knowing that your wedding will be a beautiful, well-organized event that your friends and family will love - choose C&J.

I hired Megan Gingrich as my day of coordinator through C&J Catering for my july 2014 wedding. C&J Catering was recommended to me by a friend and I originally contacted Contessa. Contessa was great to work with but her due date ended up being right around the date of our wedding. With plenty of time to spare before our wedding, Contessa contacted me to let me know that Megan would take over as the day of coordinator for my wedding. I first met Megan a little over a month before the wedding when I did a walk through of our venue. I could tell that Megan was going to do a great job, and she was great at calming my nerves and reassuring me that everything would come together the way I wanted it to. I walked away from our meeting knowing that everything was going to be take care of, from the cake table to the table cloths to the 100-200 candles I needed her to light before the reception started. I had more decorations than most brides, and Megan did a fabulous job making sure everything was set up the way I wanted it. At the rehearsal, Megan led everyone in a fun, quick, and productive practice. I got numerous compliments about the speediness of the rehearsal and it helped us get the practice in before it stormed! After the rehearsal, my mom and I looked at each other and commented that Megan was already worth every penny we had spent to hire her for the wedding. The day of the wedding Megan was fabulous. She set up all of the tables that I had planned... the cupcake display with silver antique trays, the guest book table, the family wedding photograph table, the seating assignment table, the unity candle table at the ceremony, the 100-200 candles all around the barn, and many other decorations. She also checked in on me to make sure everything was going smoothly. And everything went smoothly. Our day was better than I could have imagined, and I know that Megan was a huge part of that. My only regret was that I did not hire Megan for additional hours to help with clean up! I would highly recommend Megan as a day of coordinator for your wedding! After planning everything, it was a wonderful feeling to get to sit back, relax and enjoy the day knowing that Megan was making sure everything turned out great!

My husband, parents and I were very pleased with the entire experience from the tasting to the day of the big event! At our tasting the chef that prepared the food was there to explain everything and take notes of likes and dislikes. Our wedding coordinator Sara Jane was there for the entire tasting, she sat with us and made notes as far as linens we liked and disliked, and plates and utensils we liked and preferred to use. Sara Jane stayed in contact the entire year between the tasting and the event answering all my questions and putting me at ease the entire way! It was very relaxing as the bride to know that she was at our reception venue the day of our wedding make sure everything was were it needed to be and knowing that I could text her if I had any problems or concerns and she would fix it :) The food was outstanding and we had plenty for people to have seconds and even for us to take home at the end of the night. At first the price seemed a little high to me but when I considered everything that was included: bar mixers, table linens, ice, all utensils, plates, cups and the fact that I had Sara Jane and her fantastic and professional staff it didn't seem like that much!! I would highly (and do highly) recommend C&J to all my friends, family and fellow brides :)

We used C&J in partner with Ironstone Ranch, and we had a very good experience. We chose a buffet style dinner and the food tasted fresh and delicious on our wedding day! We also loved the variety of appetizers and meals we had to choose from to build our menu, there was something for everyone. The planner we were given was a little unorganized at times, and didn't do quite as good of a job contacting us with important info in the planning stages as I would have liked, but she was fantastic on the actual wedding day and everything came together beautifully in the end.

With the help from C&J, my husband and I truly had a wonderful wedding experience at the very beautiful Peter Allen House on July 6th, 2013. Our vision of summery vintage fun, fresh, boho elegance became a reality with the help from Contessa, our wedding coordinator, and the rest of C&J's team. In anything, if not everything, we really wanted to find vendors who really understood our vision for our wedding. This was an event that my husband and I had truly waited a long time for and we wanted perfection. From the very beginning from working with C&J, the canvas was always open and free to play with. We were astounded at the ideas brought forth in combination with our own ideals and together, it was not hard to make the decision to hand over our special day to C&J. Looking back on our wedding day, the service was above and beyond what we had expected & I still remember crying seeing my bouquet for the first time! We are forever thankful and C&J helped create everlasting memories that we’d honestly waited soo incredibly long for! Thank you is an understatement of our gratitude!

C&J Catering were an absolutely great company to work with. We were so pleased with them every step of the way!! From the beginning we worked with Contessa, who I couldn't say nicer things about. She answered my, what seemed like, hundreds of emails promptly and even took time out to meet us to go over things in person when I asked. They really worked with us to create the best menu in our price range and allll of our guests commented on how delicious the food was!! The day of the wedding all of the staff were so polite and helpful to our guests, the bartenders were great (we used theirs) and our family and friends loved how they remembered their drinks throughout the night, just the little things which made it that much nicer for our guests. Contessa made sure our day ran smoothly as well, I kept telling everyone that if anything had gone wrong, I didn't know about it (which is because everyone tells me that nothing went wrong!) Thank you so much for making our wedding special!

We used C&J Catering for our Sept. 14, 2013 wedding and they were absolutely wonderful! We actually started our wedding planning process after friends who live in Mechanicsburg, PA told us that they had went to a wedding recently that C&J catered. They told us that the food was outstanding ... the best food they have ever had at a wedding. So we figured we'd set up a meeting and see what they were about. It wasn't until after we met with them that we realized they were partnered with an event coordinating company Event Works. Long story short, we were able to meet with caterers AND wedding coordinators in one meeting. From the very first meeting, Contessa was attentive, knowledgable and genuinely interested in my fiance and I. They took the time to get to know us as a couple and learn what kind of food we loved, what WE wanted at our wedding. Other catering companies we looked at, you could chose from different packages where you picked A, B, or C options of food. C&J asked us to dream up whatever we would want and when it came down to the taste tests, they made our dream a reality. We told them specifically what we wanted, and they whipped it up. And the food was AMAZING. There wasn't one thing that we sampled that we didn't like. But what's even more amazing was that the food at the actual wedding reception was just as amazing. With a lot of other places, what you taste in a taste testing, may not be the product you get on the wedding day. C&J totally delivered. Contessa from C&J was our go-to throughout the entire process and she was simply outstanding. She kept us calm and focused, answered any and every question we had and even made herself available to us 24/7. She was also our day-of coordinator and even our guests couldn't stop talking about what an amazing job her and her team did throughout the entire day. She even made sure to bring my husband and I appetizers that we were missing from the cocktail reception while we were off getting pictures taken. All in all, I cannot say enough about C&J. I would recommend them over and over to anyone!!!
