Wonderful stay at this warm cheerful hotel . I cannot remember the names of the 2 ladies at the front desk that help us check in but they were so warm and friendly and there is this young man with gorgeous fuzzy hair that gave us great suggesti...
ons for our Yosemite tours and a nice debonair stylish Mr kevin that seemed to belong to old charm Hollywood . Rooms are good as after all it is a Hilton but the people really made the difference ! We stayed from 30/6/24 to 3/7/24. You will now remember us as the happy Asian singaporeans :)

The rooms are small, but I liked the layout. I prefer a water closet, so I was glad to see one. The staff was pleasant.
I didn't look at the location much, nor did I walk around. From what I could tell, it seemed to be a decent driving distanc...
e to activities in the area.
There's only valet which is conveniently located in the front. If not valet, I'd suggest a rideshare service. There's no street parking.
There's no in-room dining, but the hotel has a restaurant and coffee room.

Hotel room is nice and spacious. Convenient spot. Giving 2 star is because of their interesting restaurant services. First they asked for a $30 minimum pay per day, which I never heard of. Second, their waitress at the Fl 12 restaurant likes to...
educate customers what to do. I waited 20min for an overnight oatmeal, I asked when it’s coming and the staff responded that they only have one cook and many people ordered, so I should have patience.
Is it my problem that your restaurant is short on staff? I come to this restaurant for food because the hotel asked $30 minimum daily extra pay, I didn’t come here to be educated

This review is based on my recent stay at Canopy Hotel. While I previously had a positive experience, this visit fell short of expectations in several ways.
Here's what disappointed me:
Uncleanliness: Upon arrival, I discovered the bed sheet ...
had visible stains. This raised hygiene concerns and was frankly unacceptable. I brought it to the front desk staff's attention during check-out, but they only asked for the room number and offered no apology or solution.
Destination Fee Confusion: The hotel advertised a $30 destination fee. However, the rooftop staff initially required my credit card to open a tab, stating the fee would be applied later. At check-out, the front desk informed me the fee hadn't been applied and they had no record of it. This inconsistency caused unnecessary confusion.
Service Shortcomings: Both the front desk and rooftop staff lacked attentiveness. The situation with the stained sheet and the destination fee could have been handled much more smoothly.
Positive Aspects:
Rooftop Ambiance: The hotel does have a beautiful rooftop space, which was the main reason I chose to stay there.
Overall:
While the rooftop offered a nice atmosphere, the uncleanliness, service issues, and destination fee confusion significantly impacted my experience. If you prioritize cleanliness and excellent service, you might want to consider other options.

While this hotel is nicely decorated, clean, and very convenient for store, shopping, and the public transportation lines, the staff at this hotel are lacking management. Almost every employee (I have stayed around 10 nights total at this hotel...
) looks like they would rather be anywhere else. The restaurant employees seem like no one is worthy of eating at the restaurant and they do not listen to food allergies and concerns.
My last trip to this hotel (I choose this hotel because it is the closest to my work), they canceled my prepaid room less than an hour before I was supposed to arrive. (I booked when nights were $300/night, and they could get more because the rates were more than double that when I was to stay). I was put into a very friendly hotel down the street for the first night, and then they made me stay at the Canopy the second night! I had to repack everything and move hotels. This is not what I need when I am in town for stressful work meetings.
Not only that, but the hotel messed up the billing, and I have now been on hold for over 2 hours the past two days trying to get the correct bill. The managers are not calling back and are not doing their job. I am usually please with Hilton, and this is by far the worst Hilton property I have ever been to (and I have stayed in a Hilton in almost every state in the US). There are plenty of places in town to spend your money. Do not waste it to be treated so poorly at this location.
