We had an excellent experience hosting our room block and wedding welcome party at the Canopy. With both my husband and I based outside of Florida, the team showed us around the rooftop (Treehouse) virtually and responded to all of our emails immediately throughout the entire planning process. They were just so easy to work with, and the event on the Treehouse was stunning. We got great feedback from our guests who stayed at the Canopy for the wedding weekend. 5 stars!
Our wedding reception at Canopy was a dream come true! The venue itself is beautiful and classy and was great value for the price, the food is absolutely delicious, and Krista was so helpful and supportive every step of the way. She went out of her way to accommodate our special dietary menu for catering our reception dinner, provided us with suggestions and recommendations for vendors, stayed in constant communication with us, and answered all of our questions over our year-long wedding planning process. Krista and the catering staff at Canopy helped our wedding run so smoothly and made it such a memorable night! I could not recommend highly enough!
Our wedding at the Canopy was absolutely wonderful. I was a little nervous when we booked because the room is a bit narrow, but it turned out beautifully. Our guests are still raving about how delicious the food was and how wonderful the vibes were. We also rented out the pool canopy area the next day and again the professionalism and food were top notch. Special shout out to Krista, the on-site event coordinator. She was so welcoming and friendly. From our first tour to the tasting to the wedding she was great to work with-- I wish we could relive the day again!
Krista was SO AMAZING! I think I talked to her about things that weren’t even apart of her job description but she still helped out and offered advice in any way that she could. She has an amazing vibrant personality (just like me)! The hotel in itself was amazing as far as aesthetics and location. Definitely gave you the upscale bougie feeling that you needed as a bride! Restaurants, bars, and shopping centers being in literal walking distance was the cherry on top! They’re also dog friendly and greet your pup with cinnamon treats 🥰 so if you’re like me and take your baby paw pal everywhere it was a no brainer! Highly recommend for a wedding venue with lots of accented art art and greenery. Your pictures on the rooftop will be AMAZING!
First off, Krista is honestly the best coordinator I could’ve asked for. I know this is not normal and probably will not be an option for most people, but my wedding day was like 50/50 weather (but not rain, an actual tornado warning) but the staff set up my terrace ceremony (even though everyone, including me at some point, was convinced it was not happening outdoors) and an indoor option if it turned last second. I could not be more grateful for this, because the canopy was my #1 choice because of the terrace ceremony space alone. Everything else was absolutely perfectly and I honestly cannot thank Krista enough. She really did hold the entire day (and probably weekend) together. I’m so so so happy with everything and couldn’t recommend this venue enough for holding your wedding ceremony/reception. Also the food was 100000/10. Omg, everything. Appetizers, salads, entrees, it was amazing. People say the bride doesn’t eat on their wedding day, but I sure did because it was too good not to.
Canopy by Hilton in downtown West Palm was by far the most perfect venue we could’ve found! Everyone in Florida does a Beach Wedding, and every single photo looks the same. Having our wedding at the canopy, gave us the most unique and beautiful photos as well as something different for our guests. The venue itself is beautiful and modern and clean. It really gives a completely different vibe than you would expect in South Florida but with the rooftop overlooking the intercoastal, you still have that Florida feel with a CITY vibe.
We worked directly with Krista for almost 2 years and she is absolutely fabulous. She constantly checked in and made us feel her and did everything she could to pull off our spectacular wedding. The food was delicious and the tasting was so much fun. I have worked in events for my whole career and it was so nice working with Krista, who allowed me to create my own floorplan, and who helped my vision come to life, I highly recommend utilizing the entire second floor for your event and leaving the curtains open to really showcase the city view with the floor to ceiling windows. All of our guests were stunned with the venue and the complementary wedding night room with the view was so pretty! I absolutely loved using this venue for my wedding and highly recommend it
The canopy is an amazing wedding venue! Krista will work with you to plan your event and is incredible. It is a beautiful venue, so plenty of great photo ops, they have great service, and everything turned out amazing. All guests were happy with appetizers, salads, meals, dessert, etc. they also have a rooftop with a pool and restaurant/bar as well as a restaurant on the first floor. Therefore, for guests that decide to stay here, it is a great place to stay as it has everything you need right there. The staff is all so nice and accommodating and really want you to be happy. The suite is a must have for the bride to get ready in, it is so big and is perfect for hair and make up to be done in there the morning of. I would highly recommend having your wedding here!
The Canopy WPB was the perfect wedding venue. From the day we toured, to the end of our wedding night, everything was thoughtfully handled and turned out perfectly. Krista is so easy to work with, and was conscious of every little detail. The overall staff at the hotel/event were all pleasant and accommodating too. The food is amazing as well - majority of our guests went out of their way to compliment it. The hotel has many beautiful spots for photos, and indoor/outdoor options. We couldn’t have found a better venue!
This hotel is INCREDIBLE – the perfect destination for a wedding with guests that are traveling. We hosted a 3-day wedding event – Rehearsal Dinner, Ceremony & Reception, and day after wedding pool party. All 3 events turned out FLAWLESS!
The staff at the hotel is warm and professional. From the front desk, to housekeeping, to the service staff – everyone was SUPER FUN! We had over 100 guests travel from California, Chicago, New York, and Europe. All our guests commented that the service was incredible, and the stay was perfect. The food is a real treat at this hotel!
Krista Smith, our main contact, is amazingly talented. She anticipated every detail and need and helped advise us every step of the way. Even when other vendors may have dropped the ball, Krista jumped in and made it happen.

We could not have chosen a better venue for our wedding reception! The reception area, food and drink, staff, and guest rooms were absolutely perfect. The hotel itself is sleek, trendy, and modern and was the perfect backdrop for our reception. Since it rained on our wedding day, we also had to take our photos in the lobby - which thankfully is also so beautiful and spacious, filled with natural light and plants. This is not your average hotel! Krista, the events coordinator, was the best part of all though! She was so incredibly helpful and accommodating at every step of the process. Her organization and communication was absolutely perfect and we just felt so confident in her to help pull off this event. No detail was spared or overlooked and she was just incredibly kind. In addition, everything was very streamlined for our event - so many elements of our reception were included in the fee for the space which made things relatively easy for us in the wedding planning process. It was a GREAT VALUE for the amazing service we received! Also, the bridal party got ready in a suite and it was absolutely beautiful and spacious. Everyone told us how delicious the food was and how much FUN they had at our wedding. The location in downtown West Palm Beach was also so convenient for us and our guests. Highly, highly recommend this venue and the incredible staff at the Canopy!!
Canopy is the most perfect wedding venue!! I loved every part about it. The hotel itself is gorgeous and makes every photo look amazing, and the rooms were perfect for getting ready that day - the floor to ceiling windows give great lighting for makeup and photos. The ceremony space is outdoors and surrounded by greenery, so you barely need to do a single thing to it. The cocktail hour spot is also stunning, and you get the entire second floor to yourself for the reception. You can also customize the ceremony space to fit your party size, so that was another bonus. The location is perfect too, since guests can walk downtown or to Rosemary Square - we had our rehearsal dinner downtown and it was so easy.
I also cannot say enough great things about Krista, who is the catering sales manager at the hotel. She is so friendly and helpful, and made the entire planning process easy and manageable. I'm pretty sure she answered every email the same day I sent it, and she was super attentive on the day of the wedding. She really thought of everything!
I had so many guests tell me how much they loved the venue, and that the food was great! You will NOT find a better option. I was definitely on a budget, and the quality, service, and ambiance of the hotel felt like a dream come true. I felt like I found a hidden gem right here in West Palm! I wish I could do it all over again - would not have changed a single thing!
One of the best places to have your wedding in South Florida. It has a cool and beautiful atmosphere, the food is delicious and the staff is amazing! Krista Smith is the catering manager and will work with what you want and need. She is warm, welcoming and thoughtful. Krista referred me to my wedding planner I hired, Naomi Z. Sitahal. She helped me find the most amazing vendors and made sure everything ran smoothly on my wedding day. I barely had to lift a finger. She’s amazing! The canopy was the perfect place for our wedding! I am a local Wedding & Event Planner and I came across Canopy by Hilton Downtown WPB in my search for one of my couples in Fall 2019. I reached out to their team and from the initial contact, everything was so seamless. I toured the property multiple times while it was still a construction site so it was quite exciting to see it through all of the phases, to the final product. Jen and Krista are both extremely helpful and knowledgable. Krista was our main contact throughout most of the planning process, and I'll tell you, not only is she super friendly and accommodating, she's also very professional and educated on the industry. You would be so lucky to have your wedding at Canopy with their team on your side - definitely check them out, the location is perfect, the food is great, the staff is amazing, and the overall atmosphere is perfect for any wedding or event!
Canopy by Hilton Downtown WPB is, and forever will be, our #1 recommendation for a wedding reception venue and hotel! When my husband and I were trying to find a reception venue for our wedding in 2019, our planner Naomi Zora Events recommended this brand-new hotel. Note that it was still under construction at that time and was not opened to public yet! (We even did a hard hat tour!) But after connecting with the hotel’s wonderful and professional catering sales manager Krista, we believed that Canopy was the right choice for us. We’re the first couple ever to book them! Fast forward to 2021, we got the chance to visit the hotel again prior to our wedding. It turned out to be stunning!! The rustic, rail-road industrial setup combined with the modern, chic, tropical green vibe is an absolute pleasure to one’s eyes and mind. Our wedding reception was also perfect and flawless, thanks to the professional and thoughtful Krista and her team. They also got us cards and a wedding gift, which was super sweet! Everyone at the hotel, from valet drivers to the front desk employees, waiters and waitresses, to cleaning service ladies, went the extra mile to make you feel welcomed and reassured. We’ll definitely go back to this exquisite hotel again!
Wow, where to begin! The Canopy was the PERFECT venue for us!! After postponing our initial wedding plans to get married in Italy, we decided somewhat last minute to do an intimate wedding right here in West Palm. When we met Krista, we immediately knew this was the place for us! She was absolutely incredible in helping us put together our dream wedding day and any suggestions we had, she made them happen! Her response time with any questions we had was almost immediate! She was extremely professional, kind, and an absolute pleasure to work with!! My wedding guests are still raving about her and how on top of everything she was!
When selecting a venue, we really wanted to have that coastal feel with water views. The Canopy provided us with incredible coastal views where we had our ceremony on the rooftop facing the intracoastal and ocean! It was the perfect size for our small party. We were also able to go back up to the rooftop while the sun was setting and take some amazing pictures since their rooftop provides beautiful views to the west as well. I can’t even wait to get our pictures back! The Canopy’s location is perfect since it is only a short walk directly east to the waterfront area for some amazing photos. My dad drove the women down and the guys in the bridal party had a 5 mins walk. Totally worth it!!!
I can’t rave enough about how professional and organized the entire Canopy staff were! We had butler passed champagne prior to our ceremony for our guests and Krista immediately brought us over two glasses when the ceremony was finished! Since we were taking photos during the cocktail hour, the Canopy staff brought over a plate of our selected hors d’oeuvres to our sweetheart table during the reception so we still got to enjoy them! The food is absolutely amazing!!!! We had so much fun at our tasting and even got to meet the chef! They let us mix and match our main entree selection with any sides from other choices that we wanted! The possibilities were endless. We decided on the Kobe beef short rib with Chilean sea bass paired with truffle mashed potatoes and roasted carrots. It was incredible and I’m not lying when I say that everyone licked their plates clean!
The Canopy provided us with a very classy and elegant affair at every turn. The bridal suite was gorgeous!! It had a huge outdoor balcony that provided for excellent pictures, modern spacious rooms, and even 2 separate bathrooms which was great for all of us to get ready in! The atrium area for cocktail hour and the ballroom and beautiful with floor to ceiling glass windows!
The Canopy and Krista took away a lot of the wedding planning stress as well. They include not only the venue but food, drinks, tables, chairs, linens, cutlery, set up, etc! They had excellent suggestions for vendors as well as tremendous working relationships that had already been established!
We can’t thank the Canopy and Krista enough for making our wedding day so amazing and perfect!!!! We are so excited that we can go back and visit anytime and that it will always be a special place for us!
We were able to put together a small but unforgetable reception with the help of Krista Smith and Canopy by Hilton. Krista was unbelievably proactive and responsive to our needs with extremely short notice. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food delicious, and facilities were outstanding. We would absolutely recommend Krista and Canopy by Hilton.

Krista & Jen at the Canopy by Hilton took on every role from advisors to confidants and mediators working hard to find the perfect balance in our planning process. They took the time to get to know us and gather a complete understanding of what we needed onsite to make our day special. The Canopy had everything handled from top to bottom for both our rehearsal and wedding day with chef inspired meals and great savings left and right on recommended vendors to accompany. The Canopy team was a breath of fresh air to work with and they worked incredibly hard to take care of our questions at all hours of the day while providing a sense of comfort and immediacy to their approach.

Krista, Jen and the entire Canopy team were absolutely brilliant hosts for our wedding in January. Each step of our planning, during the hotel's pre-opening AND a pandemic, the team was responsive and happy to work with us to ensure everyone's safety while keeping our vision intact. By our wedding weekend, the entire Canopy team felt like family.
When I started to have some concerns to points of contact in our catering plans a month out? They didn't bat an eye to pivot the menu in a way that felt natural and true to our event.
Which reminds me - the catering with the Canopy team is unbelievable! Our only regret is some menu items aren't available at Banter so we could eat the dishes again and again! I can't thank them enough for all the efforts Krista and Jen took to ensure our wedding was perfection.
I cannot speak higher about the Canopy by Hilton or it's incredible staff. My now husband and I were demoralized and upset after our first wedding was cancelled due to Covid. Jen Garrett and Krista Smith listened to us and did everything in their power to create the most stress-free and BEAUTIFUL wedding day we could have every imagined. The 6th floor terrace overlooks the city and was a gorgeous ceremony space as the sun set. We all then went up to their rooftop lounge, Treehouse, equipped with an outdoor and indoor setting, filled breathtaking views and unique decor, and danced, ate and drank all night. The guests could not speak higher about the food quality and the beauty of the hotel. I'd HIGHLY recommend Jen, Krista and the rest of their staff to any bride or event-thrower!
