I have debated leaving a review, as I got to know Allie and Erin and they were nice women. However, since Canvas has been using my wedding footage on Instagram to advertise their services, it has been bothering me and kept it in my mind. I was really disappointed with their execution the day of my wedding. I hired them 3 months out to be "day of" wedding planners. What this means is they make sure the day runs smoothly. Of course, this takes more time and planning than the day of. We were in talks for months in terms of layout, timing of everything, seating chart, vision, etc. At first, we got off to a rough start. I had a hard time getting in touch with Allie in the beginning weeks. However, that resolved and they were both very helpful with suggesting vendors for rentals and displays (like my amazing seating chart). It was nice to have Erin come with to Diamond Rental to look at options and provide her opinions, and it was nice to have Allie come help me load up my belongings to take the venue the day of the wedding. It helped me feel less stressed. I want to be fair and state what went right. However, the day of the wedding there were lots of issues! I was told that they would have a team of people helping them, but I ended up just having Erin and Allie. They didn't bring any helpers. We had gone over the layout of everything in detail. However, as I am getting ready on my wedding day I noticed some of the large rental decor was not placed in the right, so I had to go out of the bridal room and have it moved to the correct place. Additionally, we needed extra hands on deck for set up, for moving some of the decor from one area of the venue to the other as the night transitioned, such as flowers to the cake cutting orangerie. That didn't happen. My cake cutting timeline was a disaster! It didn't feel like anyone was in charge or coordinating anything. They needed to be more in touch with the DJ with coordinating and announcing things, moving guests, etc. We were awkwardly cutting the cake inside the orangerie with everyone watching us like birds. And then it was over and we were rushed over to the dance floor before some of my family even knew what was going on. If this was an error in the timeline, then I would expect them to point that out ahead of time. Additionally, I was annoyed to see that they took the time to take personal videos of my wedding, but not take the time to execute things we had discussed. They were more concerned with getting content to advertise their business instead of doing what needed to be done first for their client. Lastly, one of the services that I wanted a planner for was for helping pack everything up at the end of the night and put it in my car. Well, they did that, which was very helpful! However, I was missing things that were in my bridal room, such as a gift I had brought for my dad, and a hand written card from my good friend, amongst other things. I am NOT implying they stole it. They were in charge of our wedding card box, which had cash in it and we received all of that. But it was disheartening to find things were missing. Also, guests informed us that they saw them leave our very expensive seating chart had made in the grass, instead of bring it in. So I feel like they kinda dropped the ball. Planning an event is half of it, but you need to be good at executing the day of. For these reasons, I would not recommend them or use them for a large or important event.

Hiring Rachel was truly the best decision we ever made while wedding planning! We went into the process knowing next to nothing about wedding planning but Rachel made it a breeze. She is SO warm, supportive, light-hearted, and incredibly good at her job. We planned a destination wedding in Park City and Rachel always made us feel calm, heard, and organized even while we were planning from another state. She helped us with every detail of the wedding including invites, seating chart, negotiating costs with vendors, tracking costs and outstanding deliverables, follow up with vendors, providing us with timelines and to-do lists; she truly did it all and went above and beyond. Rachel exceeded all of our expectations and truly caters to every single bride she works with. For example, I can be indecisive and like to have several options to look at before making a decision. Rachel picked up on this quickly and always came to us with several options and ideas all at different price points for us to consider when making all decisions, both big and small. She also was willing to give her honest opinion when I really felt stuck on a decision, which was huge for me! Last thing I’ll say is that Rachel never once made us feel Iike we needed to stretch or exceed our budget. She always gave us options that were in line or under our budget, made me feel good about choosing less expensive options (ex. using Minted for invites instead of hiring a vendor), and was always upfront about cost when comparing options. There are so many things to think about with wedding planning but Rachel truly made it a fun, positive, and overall enjoyable experience for both of us. Rachel felt like a friend to us throughout the entire process and I honestly miss working with her :) I could go on and on (clearly) but if you’re reading this, this is your sign to hire Rachel!

Erin (and Canvas Weddings and Events) was really amazing at helping us plan our dreamy winter wedding in Park City, Utah. Being from California, it was vital to find a wedding planner who could be on site for us and knew the area and local vendors well. From the beginning Erin helped schedule venue walkthroughs for us to choose the right location, she coordinated with various vendors to get us the vision we wanted, and helped us find the best value from these vendors. The day of the wedding she was so helpful and the execution was perfect. We received so many compliments about how everything flowed so easily. Erin and her team did a great job throughout the wedding process and she was always accessible (could call, text or email ANY time or any day of the week). Erin was amazing at conflict resolution as well - we had one vendor who consistently missed deadlines and Erin handled it so well for us, ensured we had a backup plan, and made sure we had what we needed for the wedding. Lastly, Erin herself is super easy to work with because she is so kind and friendly - she feels like another bridesmaid vs. a wedding planner!

We truly cannot say enough about how our incredible experience with Rachel and the whole Canvas team. Rachel has built great connections with all of the most amazing vendors in Utah, and it made the experience infinitely easier as she already knew the ins and outs of so many of the vendors we decided to hire. She even connected with our dream photographer (who she knows well) and negotiated a price that better fit our budget, which allowed us to move forward with that photographer. Throughout the whole process she was able to capture our vision and bring it to life through details both big and small, and the wedding day felt effortlessly magical as a result. Rachel is just also a warm and wonderful person to have on your team. I had a habit of turning to my husband after every check in call with Rachel and saying, "I just love Rachel!" And it's true. She was a joy to work with, and we were a bit sad when the wedding was over to say our goodbyes with her as she had become such a big part of that chapter in our lives. I could not speak more highly of Cydney at Canvas Events!! From the very first call we had to discuss our wedding vision, my husband and I felt completely taken care of. Cydney is amazing at her job, super knowledgeable about AZ wedding venues/vendors, incredibly efficient, flexible, kind, and so much fun to work with. She also really embraced the cultural aspects of our wedding and took the lead on traditions she wasn't familiar with with ease and grace -- we never had a moment of doubt that something would go wrong once Cydney got involved. Though I won't miss wedding planning, I'll miss working with Cydney!

I talked with 10+ wedding planners before I had the pleasure of meeting with Cydney and after 2 minutes I already knew without a doubt who would be planning my wedding. I probably talked more about Cydney throughout my engagement than my own fiancé and that is a testament not only to her amazing talent but also her genuine and kind personality. Cydney is AMAZING! I recently got married in Scottsdale and can't say enough good things. If I had to do it over again (gladly!) I wouldn't change a thing, especially working with Cydney. As a TV producer I have a lot of respect for anyone who tackles - and more importantly multi-tasks - big events. There's so many boxes to check off, things to catch, timelines to align and communication between vendors. Plus, as a first-time bride it can be hard to know all the areas to navigate. Knowing that Cydney had my back so I could ENJOY the wedding was not only the biggest relief, but the best decision we made for our wedding. I remember the weeks and days leading up and not feeling any stress - only excitement. This seemed a bit odd to me, but the credit goes to Cydney because I knew I was in good hands. She not only helped put my mind at ease for the day itself but was also incredibly helpful with questions or advice I had along the way. I couldn't be happier with my experience and am excited for future brides and grooms who get to work with her :)

Rachel and Jami at Canvas Weddings/Events are the best! Our wedding was pushed back two years due to Covid, and Canvas was there to support us every step of the way! Rachel and Jami made our wedding vision into a reality. They were easy to contact, punctual, fun to work with, and amazing listeners! We really couldn’t have done it without them, and because of them, our wedding turned out more beautifully than we could have ever imagined. It’s hard to put into words what Cydney did for us and our destination wedding in Mexico. We started planning this well over a year ago and interviewed a number of planners across the country but from the very first second we talked to Cydney we knew she was the perfect planner for us and the search was over. My husband Justin and I live a very busy life, constantly traveling due to him playing in the NFL and not much time to sit down and have long conversations about the wedding which I’m sure could probably be frustrating to a planner but Cydney never skipped a beat. Any time of the day we would text or call her with a question about the wedding she was there. If we had a random 10 minutes to get on a call she never once hesitated and would drop any and everything she was doing to help talk us through it. I was very nervous about planning a huge destination wedding in Mexico while living in Arizona and just thinking about all the vendors I would have to find while making sure I got the best rates for my guests but Cydney did absolutely everything to make sure our wedding weekend was perfect and the prices were exactly where we wanted them to be. She not only came up with a vision but found every vendor for that vision and made sure it was exactly what I wanted. From the florist to the welcome bags, piñatas for every room, playing cards with our dogs face on them, custom cups with our logo, and even building an entire pergola for my 150 guests to sit under with twinkling lights for my reception (and that’s just to name a few things) she truly thought of it all and mind you she was basically translating for a year straight with everyone in Mexico which absolutely blew my mind because she doesn’t speak Spanish but somehow everyone understood her lol! When you think of what you want in a wedding planner you want someone who’s going to get things done, know you’re vision but not bombard you with 1000 questions a day, be direct in asking for all the things you need but kind at the same time, you want someone who’s going to save you money in places you didn’t even think you could save money, someone with amazing taste to help bring your wedding dreams to life but most importantly you want someone who’s going to go above and beyond for you in every single aspect of your wedding to make sure the most important day of your life is absolutely perfect and I can tell you that Cydney was THAT wedding planner.

Cydney was a rockstar! I was skeptical about paying for a wedding planner, but our venue required one. I must say, it was worth every penny. She was SUPER helpful, always had answers to our questions, and probably saved us more than the fee charged by Canvas just by her negotiating skills. Highly recommended, look no further.

Erin and the Canvas team were absolutely amazing to work with! Erin was so responsive during the planning process, and helped me through any problem - covid concerns, budgeting, and any other issue. There are no words to describe how amazing Cydney was, but I will try. Cydney stepped in when my old wedding planner wasn't able to take my new wedding date. I was a little lost on what to do and where to begin, and was anxious starting with a new planner. Cydney stepped right in and I knew I was in good hands. She made the months leading up to the wedding stress-free and made all my dreams come true. She was always available to chat through ideas, go through the timelines, comb through details and she always brought so much to the table and helped me get my vision right. On the wedding day, she was a rock star. My entire wedding party was in awe of how she was handling everything all day. I knew I was in good hands and in my mind the wedding day was flawless. Cydney was my personal angel on my wedding day. I was on the fence about using a wedding coordinator but I am SO GLAD I did. My venue marketed they had their own coordinators to work with but guess what… 4 coordinators later and I never even met who was running the show on their side for my big day. Without Cydney I would’ve been extremely lost and stressed on my wedding day. Instead, I got to relax, enjoy the day, and watch her beautiful work unfold. Due to COVID I had the pleasure of working with Erin for nearly two years!! She helped us when we had to postpone our original date just 6 weeks before our March wedding and was so accommodating the entire process. Fast forward to October 2021 and after starting a new job and my fiance wrapping up grad school Erin was a huge help keeping everything on track leading up to our day. Utah weather is unpredictable and all day it rained on and off and I so badly wanted to have my ceremony outside, however, 30 minutes before start time I decided to move it to under a pavilion and Erin and her team made it happen! They moved all the florals and chairs and we still made our ceremony start time. The night was absolutely seamless and that is all thanks to Erin. If anything went wrong I still don't know about it because she handled everything!! Even brought her own umbrellas for all of our California guests who aren't prepared for weather. Thank you Erin and Canvas!!!

My husband and I cannot believe how lucky we were to have found Canvas Wedding & Events. Rachel and team helped make our dream of a modern tropical wedding come true. Not only did Rachel make magic happen on the day of, she was there every step of the way in planning and just in general. Excellent and amazing service We researched and researched and I can safely say that we hit the jackpot finding Rachel. Our wedding would not have gone as smoothly without her expertise and leadership. She prepared a timeline over the course of 6+ months and kept us appraised and informed on every vendor and activity we had going on over the the 6 months. Rachel was truly the best planner I could’ve asked for! I was taking college classes the entire process till the day before my wedding and Rachel did so much for me that I could take my finals and have my wedding with ease! Do yourself a favor and stop looking anywhere else and book Cydney with Canvas for your wedding RIGHT NOW! Best decision we made was having her be our wedding planner. She will exceed all expectations you think you have in a wedding planner. She will drop anything for you, she will put so much care into your event the day of, but really she was such a gift to guide us through the planning process leading up to our event date. There will be some stress because duh you're planning an event that involves a lot of people and dynamics, but she will make it fun, easier and take the weight off of you so that you can still enjoy the process and not feel overwhelmed. Trust me, things will come up that you never expected or planned for and she was that unbiased filter to go to when i wasn't sure what to do. She was there with compassion when i needed to cry, but was also there to be my strength and worker bee to put in the work to shift gears and get the job done. And not just get it done, but get it done the right way - she never lost sight of the vision we wanted for our wedding - even when we had to completely scratch our original wedding venue and city only 2 months out from our date. We made it happen and honestly could not have had a better wedding. She worked well with other vendors and was able to put together great people that would surround us for our event, which makes sense because she is truly a great person of character herself. I can not put enough emphasis on the value of a planner, you may be the best party planner in the world, but when it comes to your own personal event let someone else take the reigns for you. There will be times you just want to go to someone with advice or questions that will be disconnected from your close circle and give it to you straight with only you and your fiances best intentions at heart. She reminded me always that it was 'our wedding' and to make every decision based off of what me and my fiance wanted. This will be very helpful along the way, especially if you're a people pleaser and love to involve all your family and friends in everything. It may feel scary to let go of control and trust someone else with one of the most important days of your life, but do yourself a favor and allow yourself the gift of being a guest at your wedding. Cydney took so much time to get to know my fiance, now husband, and I leading up to our wedding that I felt so comfortable completely letting go on the day of. I knew she would handle it all + she did. I can honestly say that we had the BEST wedding weekend ever and we owe so much of that to Cydney. She guided us through all our wedding decision making that I had zero regrets come day of and I seriously just let go and was so present come the day of. I'm quite a Type A personality and she was able to earn my trust where I honestly could let go and enjoy myself! Not an easy job for someone haha She is so kind, but also a boss to speak up, get it done and apologize later. She is there for you as her top priority the whole way. Happy to call her our wedding planner, but now a great friend. 110% recommend her to anyone with any event they need a planner for.

Words cannot describe how incredibly grateful I am that I hired Cydney with Canvas Weddings & Events. 2 1/2 months ago, my now husband, decided to plan a wedding. With not much time and not knowing where to start I knew I needed a wedding planner who did well under pressure and someone I could trust. After an hour on our initial phone conversation, I hired Cydney. What I imagined she was capable of doing versus what she did was nothing shy of absolute perfection (and in my mind a miracle). Her professionalism, communication, network of vendors, and hands on approach had my wedding literally almost planned within 2-3 weeks. I trusted her so much that once I gave her my wedding “vision” I told her to make any decisions independent of me that she thought was best. On the most important day of my life, Cydney executed our wedding beyond any comprehension. After I hired her, she said to me: “do not worry, do not stress, and do not think about anything else on your wedding day other than getting married.” I took her advice and I let her do her job. I never stressed, I didn’t think about much, and the day of our wedding the only thing I focused on was marrying my husband. Cydney and her team was the best money I spent on our wedding and she was the biggest asset throughout the planning process and on our wedding day. Her attention to detail, understanding, comfort, promptness, etc. is something I can’t fully express in words. She never made us feel like we were inconveniencing her with last minute and ever changing guest counts, meal changes, seating charts, etc. She simply just always understood us, was ALWAYS VERY QUICK to respond and she was so graceful in doing so. She was so much more than just a wedding planner. She was a friend, a sister, (essentially) a Maid of Honor, and when needed—sometimes a therapist. I would hire her 100 times over.

Absolutely the best decision I ever made was hiring Cydney from Canvas. I knew I needed help when planning my May 2020 wedding but definitely didn't know we would ultimately have to cancel due to coronavirus and then plan a new wedding all over again. Cydney helped us plan, find vendors, determine timing of the whole day down to the minute, cancel all our vendors and then do it all again when we decided on an elopement in Sedona. I tear up every time I think about how much Cydney helped us through this process. I mean it when I say that we couldn't have done this without her. Our budget was so tight for our wedding ( I am talking like well under $10,000 tight) so hiring a coordinator was a tough decision but after all was said and done, I would've paid double. She did things that she did not have to do. She literally hiked chairs and decor down to our ceremony spot and back, setup our back yard reception, setup food, picked up flowers and traveled them to Sedona. I felt so comforted knowing she was going to be there and making sure everyone was doing what they were supposed to. Trust me, you need the wedding coordinator and you need it to be Cydney.

I wasn't going to get a wedding coordinator, but as 2020 started to change everything, I realized it was probably for the best to have some come in to help coordinate on the day. When the day finally came, I was so glad we had Erin! She came in and took charge and made sure our day was perfect! She was super easy to work with and really took the time to understand our vision and what were hoping for! She took so much stress out of the day and we are super grateful!

I don’t know what I would have done without Canvas Wedding and Design. I started working with Rachel about a year ago when I first started planning my Utah destination wedding. Rachel has impeccable taste, and every vendor recommendation she made was amazing, which is especially important with an out of town bride. Rachel is so organized, creative, and kind she was amazing to work with! She always answered her emails quickly and we had frequent phone chats. I have zero wedding planning experience and Rachel handled every detailed and kept us on track with everything. We had the wedding basically all planned out, then COVID-19 happened. A month and a half before the wedding the venue where we were having both the ceremony and reception cancelled! Within a few hours Rachel had another reception site. The next day she drove out to Park City and FaceTimed me the new ceremony site and reception site. Every obstacle that was thrown at us Rachel handled with grace. The wedding turned out more amazing than I could have ever imagined! I was so relaxed the whole day Bc she took care of every detail. I didn’t have to worry about a thing! I honestly don't know where to begin. Rachel is a rockstar. She was from the very beginning. I lived in Chicago and was planning my wedding in Park City. It would have been a nightmare without her. She coordinated with everyone I asked, called anyone needed, followed up to the people that wouldn't respond, and was always available to me. That was all before the wedding. Day before and day of she was a serious dream. She made sure we had everything, she set everything where it needed to be and she helped make all my visions come true. She made sure the florists placed things exactly how I wanted and that each table looked perfect. Honestly, if you can, use her. She will make your wedding planning and day so much happier and less stressful. A necessity for any bride!!

Rachel and the Canvas Wedding and Events team truley made it feel like I has a second Maid of Honor. The teams attention to detail, organization and creativity was out of this world! The only complaint I have is that I wish I had expended my package sooner to have the team more invovled in my planning. I would highly reccomend Canvas Weddings and Events to any bride that is looking for exceptional service and a new life-long friend.

I do not have enough wonderful words for Erin and Canvas Wedding and Events. We had our wedding in Park City, but we live in Houston so at some point during our planning process we realized life would be easier with a day-of wedding planner. Erin went above and beyond! She helped me find and get quotes from all of our remaining vendors. She hooked me up with amazing Hair / Makeup stylist as well as my florist. Both of these people matched the style of our wedding perfectly! Not to mention she helped me with all of the details that I would never have thought of – would I like a table at the outdoor venue location to put the rings on, and would I need a carpet since it had rained the night before. And she helped set everything up at our reception venue / took everything down for us which allowed us to just enjoy our day completely with friends and family. I HIGHLY recommend Erin and her team to anyone who is looking for someone who will care as much about your wedding as you do.

If I could give Canvas Wedding and Events 10 stars, I would!! My now husband and I had planned a small destination wedding out in Park City Utah. As the wedding day got closer, we stressed about all the last minute details, and how we were going to coordinate all the decorations, guests, vendors, etc. the day of. We found Rachel at Canvas and she immeditaly took all of our stress away!! Hiring her was by far the best decision we made for our wedding; investment worth making!! We put a lot of time, money, and heart into planning the perfect wedding for us, and It would not have gone as perfectly as it did, If we didn't have Rachel there to Coordinate our day, and the weeks leading up to it. She asked vendor questions I didn't know to ask. She replied immediately to emails, phone calls, and was super sweet and easy to work with. Long story short, we HIGHLY recommend Canvas Wedding and Events for your big day. :)

I didn't initially think I would need a wedding planner, but hiring Erin was probably the best wedding planning decision we made. My husband and I are both very laid back and didn't know much about the specifics of a wedding. Erin was able to break down what actually needed to be planned or decided upon, what was fair game to leave out, presented decisions in an easy to digest manner, and totally managed the wedding day. Her management of the vendors, weather preparations, family, and other logistics was huge. My husband and I had a leisurely morning, separated around 1 to get ready, and I was walking down the aisle around 5. Besides the question of do you want to continue the ceremony if there is light rain, I didn't really have to worry about anything on my wedding day. Everything felt easy and relaxed and that is definitely attributed to Erin's work.

Cydney and the whole Canvas Events team has been wonderful! My husband and I wanted to hire a wedding planner because 1) neither of us had any idea what we were doing, 2) we both work full-time, and 3) we had a baby on the way so we had our hands full. Firstly, Cydney was extremely professional at all times, even under pressure. Throughout our time with her, I never heard her say anything negative about any of the vendors or venues we worked with (or anyone in general); if there was a problem, she simply stepped in to solve it. She was always on time to our meetings, rarely needed to reschedule, and always made us feel as though we were her only clients (which we knew was not true). She was available at almost all hours of the day for questions or emergencies and would respond right away to our texts and emails. She was respectful of our time and schedule and would always let us know with plenty of advanced notice if she would be unable to be reached. Secondly, she had great recommendations for and connections to vendors, which helped to save us a lot of money. She knew what could be negotiated and would step in for us to get us a better deal or more perks. She also helped us to stay in budget by suggesting vendors within our price range. Thirdly, things will go wrong during the planning process (and especially on the day of your wedding). When our florist delivered one too few bouquets, Cydney made sure the final bouquet was at the church in time for the ceremony. I didn't have to stress because she handled it all. My husband and I each had nine people in our wedding party, and she made sure everyone was where they needed to be at the right time. Throughout the day, she was always available for questions, and we never once had to hunt her down. I most definitely could not have handled the planning process myself, and my husband and I are SO happy we hired Canvas. We highly recommend them!!

I didn't originally think I needed a wedding planner, but after realizing I wanted someone to help me out the day of the event I began looking at local planners. This was truly one of the best decisions I made for our wedding! Erin and Rachel were extremely responsive and helpful. Trying to plan a wedding out of state was very difficult, but they made me feel calm and confident. Rachel graciously ran our rehearsal the day before our wedding and took many items for set up off our hands. The day of our wedding was truly perfect! Rachel handled all of our vendors, set up, guests, etc with ease! I felt so relaxed and was able to spend time with my bridesmaids and family instead of worrying about little details. I had complete faith that she would do an amazing job and she really did! Our day was better than I ever imagined. Thank you so much Rachel and Erin!

Rachel and Erin were more than my husband and I could have ever hoped for! They went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding day was an absolute dream come true. We hired them about six weeks before the wedding date for day of services and they got to work right away helping us finalize last minute details, contact vendors and run errands! They were phenomenal at communicating and very punctual and organized; if they said they would call at 7 it was 7 o'clock on the dot every single time which I greatly appreciated. On the day of the wedding I was completely calm because I knew everything was under control, even when it began to SNOW in June! Of course the ceremony was planned to be outside but because of Rachel and Erin's help they turned what I had worried to be our "drab" plan B space into a beautiful, intimate area fit for our dream wedding! I would whole-heartedly recommend Canvas Wedding and Events to anyone looking for help with their special day!

I recommend Canvas wholeheartedly!! Having six months prior, put on a wedding for another daughter by ourselves, I can tell you that I would never do a wedding without these two again. They were competent, creative, pleasant and organized. They kept us on schedule, offered many options, and went back to the drawing board if it wasn't just right. They ran errands, made phone calls, and negotiated contracts with the different services we used -- always with cheerfulness and professionalism. Most importantly, they listened to what my daughter wanted and executed her vision perfectly. The night of the reception we were aware they were taking care of all the details and it left us completely free to celebrate our daughter's wedding and enjoy our guests.
