I love that you get the venue from 9am-midnight which allows you a full day of celebrating. I was able to get there early with my wedding party and enjoy the beautiful bridal suite while we got our hair and make up done. The staff was always helpful and responsive before my wedding day as well as day of. My guests were blown away by the beautiful views of the hill country as well as the large reception hall where there is plenty of room to eat and dance. Overall, Canyonwood Ridge is the full package, and I would recommend it to any couple looking looking for a venue. *Bonus- I was a 2020 bride that had to postpone her wedding and Canyonwood was so understanding and flexible with me. Just a testament to their professionalism and how thoughtful they are.

Alex was phenomenal during this planning process, and keep in mind she had to navigate helping us plan our wedding after it got postponed due to the pandemic. I don't know what I would have done without her. Then on the actual wedding day she handled everything - we did not have to do anything in terms of setup. The day was seamless and I absolutely attribute this to her and our caterer (Dagar/DNA events). We would definitely recommend other couples using this beautiful venue and their coordinators (especially Alex!!) for their wedding!

I knew we wanted to get married at Canyonwood. The location, the views, EVERYONE who works there, the beautiful reception/chapel area are incomparable to any other venue we toured. They are EXTREMELY easy to work with and so, so helpful especially during the height of Covid. They did an amazing job making everyone feel so safe. They're also so responsive, organized, and incredibly detail-oriented. One of the most important things for us was being stress-free and being able to have the venue for the entire day. Using the In-House Coordination, Amanda Blue Events (Our coordinator was Ethnee! She was amazing!) and the fact that Canyonwood allows you to be in the venue at 9 a.m. made our day run sooo smoothly and I was at ease all day. Our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful the venue was and they were in awe of the beautiful view. We chose to have our ceremony outside underneath the trellis, but you can't go wrong either way. The chapel is gorgeous as well. There are so many options and honestly the venue is so beautiful, it hardly needs anything. And...bonus since we did get married outside - one of my favorite parts of the whole day was people watching from the bridal suite! Haha :) We had the absolute best, dreamiest day ever and cannot recommend Canyonwood enough!

self is absolutely gorgeous. The options on where you can do the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, etc, are limitless. You can really create a cool space for your wedding with all that they offer! No choice is a bad choice at Canyonwood!! Secondly, Covid. Getting married during covid is scary and unpredictable but CWR is on top of what protocols and measures need to be taken to ensure saftey for your guests. Let me tell you all we had (that were required by the venue): temps taken at the door for all guests, masks to be worn when inside the venue and you are not eating, drinking, etc. Guests are put into "groups" of who came together/is related so that they can keep everyone in their grouping to further distance. All staff wore masks. Hand washing stations and sanitizer all around. Socially distanced seating for the ceremony. They thought of everything! And ya know what? It all worked because 3 weeks out from our wedding and not a single case with 130 people in attendance! They will support you and help your wedding day dreams come true. Book with CWR-you will not regret it one bit!!!

ith natural light and beauty to be married in, and the chapel at Canyonwood ridge was the perfect fit! There is also a drop dead gorgeous outdoor option with a stunning view, but we wanted the chapel from the beginning. Our guests used it for photo ops. The chapel has the feeling of being outside due to the huge windows and natural light, without the heat/cold/rain/ unforeseen weather chances. So it’s a great backup option if you want outside, but it was our perfect Plan A. I loved the dramatic effect of the large doors on the chapel for my reveal of walking in with my father! (My groom teared up, it was perfect.) The bridal suite was so cozy and clean with large mirrors for our hair and makeup team to pamper us. We were served mimosas and lounged around all morning long preparing for the ceremony. There is also a groom’s suite, which could be used for hair/makeup if you have a larger bridal party and the bride suit feels too crowded. I also used the venue for my bridal portraits. They included time for either our engagement photos or for bridals as a part of our package. I just love the oak trees and lawn for our outdoor photos, you just can’t beat the scenery for stunning photos! Being a covid couple, we contemplated lots of options for our wedding as the pandemic continued. We postponed our original date due to a combination of travel restrictions for family, not being able to get suits due to store closures, and overall uncertainty of the early months. The staff was amazing with helping us move our date, and we will forever be grateful they did! Amanda went above and beyond to help us postpone and secure a date. Our backup date, though a Thursday due to availability, was PERFECT. The weather, the scenery, the food, the drinks…. EVERYTHING was perfect. And YES! YOU CAN have a blast even with masks on. We loved the fact that they had several options for alcohol and that you could bring in your own liquor while using their beer, wine and champagne package. It was the perfect option for our crowd! We had our cocktail hour outside on the patio and the bartenders moved everything to the inside bars at the end of that hour. If you choose any of the preferred caterers for your big day, they include setup of the ceremony chairs, reception table and chairs and also cocktail hour location without added fees. They have all of the chairs and tables you need for a wedding up to I believe 300 people, so there was no need to rent any additional furniture unless you wanted a different look. We personally thought what they had on site was perfect. Finally, I HIGHLY recommend hiring one of the event coordinators for your wedding! We originally hired Amanda, but when we postponed she ended up having 4 weddings in a month and offered to have Stephanie take over so that we would have more personal attention. The team usually only takes a few weddings a month. They were both amazing and made our day so perfect. They are on top of everything and were always quick to answer my many questions! Their wedding planning guide and timeline was just what I needed to help plan, as I had no idea where to even begin when we got engaged. I have zero complaints and only wonderful things to say about Canyonwood ridge!

Canyonwood Ridge. Back in March, we were forced to postpone our wedding. Amanda was INCREDIBLE in helping to ensure our new date worked for all vendors taking SO MUCH pressure off of us during such an unpredictable time. I will be writing a separate review for her because she is incredible and her services were 1000% worth every penny!! We were finally married last week and it was SO worth the wait! Our friends and family are still raving about how beautiful the venue was and how safe and comfortable they felt from start to finish. Cannot stress enough how wonderful of an experience we had. So sad it's over, but excited for future brides to experience the same magic we felt at Cayonwood Ridge! We are so grateful!!

On our wedding day, my husband and I didn't have to lift a finger or stress at all. Neither did my family, which was so important to us. When you book the venue, you get an extremely useful and comprehensive guide book that answers so many questions. You also get all-day access to the venue on your wedding day. The perks go on and on! I am so happy with our choice to get married here. We still receive compliments from our guests on how gorgeous the venue was and how helpful the staff were. We are big Canyonwood Ridge fans!

My guests keep talking about how beautiful and fun our wedding was and I give all the credit to Canyonwood Ridge because they helped make my wedding my DREAM wedding. I promise you, you will not be disappointed in the quality and service provided by Canyonwood Ridge!!!

y was perfect because of Steph! Canyonwood Ridge has everything you could want for a venue - from an adorable bridal suite, to chairs, tables and the amazing chapel for an indoor ceremony! The planning process with Canyonwood was flawless and the day of was better than we could have imagined. I’d choose Canyonwood Ridge every single time if I had to do it all over again!

ing overly rustic (rustic’s great for others - just not our vibe necessarily!). 2 very different perks sold us on CWR. First, the beautiful chapel. They call it the “best Plan B in Texas”, which is 110% accurate. The weather on our wedding day was absolutely beautiful, and we still opted for the chapel (I’ve been told that a ton of brides are choosing the chapel, regardless of the weather!). In the weeks leading up to the wedding, we had total piece of mind knowing that if it ended up being yucky outside, we didn’t have to worry about it! Having our ceremony in the chapel allowed for great transitions from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception, which flowed really nicely. Second, the alcohol package. CWR’s alcohol package was by far the most affordable compared to similar venues, and you can bring in your own liquor, which is a huge cost savings. Another great perk is that the venue decor is simple and elegant and allows for you to customize with florals, etc as much or as little as you want. The Edison light bulbs are all the lighting that you need, and the built-in bar is super nice and makes it easy to serve liquor on one side and beer/wine on the other. The bridal suite is also lovely and was enough space for me, my 13 bridesmaids, mom and MIL (plus 5 make up artists!) to get ready in. We had ~135 guests, which we thought was perfect for the space, but we also had a huge 10 piece band which took up a lot of room. We could have probably fit 170ish comfortably with our band set up, and the venue can certainly hold much more if you are going with a DJ or smaller band. We had our ceremony in the chapel then moved outside for a sunset cocktail hour, which was incredible! Literally, I saw comments on some of our guests’ pictures from cocktail hour asking if they were at a winery! I highly suggest using CWR’s preferred vendors list and, if you can, hiring the lead venue manager, Amanda Woods, as your 6 week coordinator. With this combo, our day went off without any issues, and we didn’t have to worry about a single thing! Amanda is extremely professional - my dad is the toughest critic I know, and he commented on what a wonderful job Amanda did. Overall, I highly recommend CWR as your hill country wedding venue and had a wonderful experience!

She took us through a general run-through of what most couples do on their day but let us know they were very open to any creative ideas we had to make things a little different for our day. She really put our minds at rest and we knew even though we hadn’t seen the venue it was definitely the right place for us. During all the months leading up to the wedding, we were in contact with the venue managers. We obviously had so many questions and requests through not being able to be there physically, but they were quick to respond to all our emails and give helpful friendly advice for everything. Although our wedding was out of town, our family members supported us 100% and couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the chapel and the whole venue was! It was just amazing to hear and knew we had made such a great choice! Thankyou so much for helping us create our dream day! We highly recommend Canyonwood Ridge for your upcoming wedding!:)

The indoor space is beautiful, even though we had perfect Fall weather we still used the chapel for the ceremony and the outdoor space for cocktail hour! If there was only critical feedback I'd mention, it's their alcohol policy. It's a little odd trying to navigate the waters who owns/provides what. It worked out in the end, it's just a little confusing to understand. Otherwise look no further for your hill country wedding venue!

So many guests told us how much they loved the space and from the pictures we've already received back from our photographer, all we can say is.... WOW!!! On top of the venue -- the venue management team (Lydia was our day of venue manager) went above and beyond to make sure things were running smoothly. The bar tenders and bar packages made things SO easy for my groom and I -- and loved that we could bring in our own liquor, it saved us SO much money! We worked with the in-house coordination team, Amanda Blue Events, and worked directly with Amanda Hepner-Woods. I don't even know where to BEGIN with Amanda. I truly don't believe our wedding day would have been as perfect as it was without Amanda. She helped us starting about 4-6 weeks out from our wedding, and being a Type A person, knew IMMEDIATELY I could trust her with my life. She made me feel so relaxed and had things under control on the wedding day. She did the little things that made the big difference -- she fixed our house party's corsages, brought us mimosas in the bridal suite, worked with our photographer to ensure we got all the pictures on our 'must have list', worked with our DJ to make sure all our 'must play' songs were played, helped make sure the bridal party passed out glowsticks & glow batons and literally even sewed on a button on my grandpa's suit jacket... THE. LIST. GOES. ON!!! Seriously, this venue and the team supporting it are best-in-class and I can't imagine ever getting married anywhere else with any other people on our team-- THANK YOU!!!!

ather your wedding will have a backup plan that is just as good as plan A. The staff at CWR are all incredible people dedicated to service and helping you create the day of your dreams. In particular, Stephanie, AJ, and Amanda were all extremely helpful. The venue is also affordable when compared to venues of its calibur. The most confusing part of working with CWR is their alcohol policy- you have to hire separate bartenders from them for wine and beer and from Royal Fig for hard liquor. This lead to much confusion for me and my husband in the planning process. HOWEVER, working with AJ and with Tia from Royal Fig left me comfortable at the end of the day with the bar service and on the day of the bar service was perfect with no issues that I noticed. Everyone raved about the bartenders remembering their drink orders. Overall, CWR was the perfect location for my July wedding with views of the Hill Country and wonderful people to help my day go off without a hitch. Thank you CWR!

AJ (the owner) and his entire team went above and beyond to provide a list of vendors, connect us and ensure every element of our day was squared away to our exact hopes! The CWR team truly made us feel like family, and their passion and care goes FAR beyond a simple venue rental. Furthermore, COORDINATION SERVICES! I am an event planner by profession. Along with that, I'd say I'm hyper-organized and a detailed planner, so when I came to a day-of/month-of coordinator I initially said, "Thanks, but no thanks." Man, I could not be happier I spoke with Amanda (lead venue coordinator) prior to ruling this option out. This investment was THE MOST important one we made for our wedding , and I would recommend hiring through CWR one million times over. Lydia Simmons was our assigned coordinator, and she was the perfect fit. She is a hyper-organized wonder woman, and we couldn't be more grateful for all she did not only on our day, but in the weeks leading up to our wedding. I was stressed with family and 100 events, and she remained calm and collected. Her professionalism, bubbly personality and true care for us was felt in everything she did. She is are AMAZING, and I'm looking for ways we can work together again in the future hehehehe.

It was honestly a hard choice between the ceremony locations because they are both GORGEOUS - my vision had always been to have an outdoor ceremony and my (now) husband loved the chapel. We ended up planning on the outdoor ceremony and then of course the Texas weather had different plans..... but the good news is it didn't matter because both locations are equally amazing! We also hired Alex as our day-of-coordinator. This is my number one recommendation - get yourself a day-of-coordinator and if you can, get yourself an Alex!! We decided 4 hours before the ceremony to flip the location and she made everything happen seamlessly. She was so professional the day-of and handled all the vendors so all I had to do was relax and prepare to get married! I can't imagine how stressed I would have been if I didn't have her help with the timeline and the layout and all the detail questions (and believe me, I had a lot of questions!). She (and else everyone at Canyonwood Ridge) was very prompt to respond to questions, which I really appreciate in wedding vendors! If you are looking for a romantic venue in the Texas Hill Country with beautiful views and a very well-thought-out design, this is the place for you!!

Alex showed us around the incredible venue and it took our breathe away - my fiancé turned to me and said 'this is the place' almost immediately. It was out of our 'original' budget and didn't offer the packages we were looking for but we knew immediately this was where we wanted to be! The venue offers incredible views, a breathtaking chapel, large reception space, and both a bridal suite (so chic!) and grooms room. We also opted to hire Alex as our coordinator and she was absolutely incredible! Even though I was out of state, she was always easy to contact and was so helpful through the whole process. The day of, I didn't have to do anything but sit back and relax with my girls - it was the best day and so stress free! She made sure going into the day that she understood my vision and handled everything like a true pro. Thank you so much, Alex, for all of your hard work! We have received so many compliments from our family and friends and our day was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend Canyonwood Ridge!

Amanda was truly a dream to work with and she made sure that our day was perfect from start to finish. If you are looking to get married in the Dripping Springs area, I highly recommend this venue!! ve your ceremony at. We hired an inside wedding coordinator, Alex, and she was absolutely amazing in the planning process. Alex and Amanda tended to our every need and more, especially when it came down to the very fine details the day of. I'm sure there were some mishaps that I had no idea about because Alex was constantly on her A game! My husband and I were extremely happy with the bar packages through the venue as well! Canyonwood Ridge provided the most perfect day for our wedding and can't say anything but amazing things about this venue and the staff. We love you Canyonwood Ridge!

step of the way through our big day. I accidentally ordered one less bridesmaid bouquet than I needed, and Stephanie HANDCRAFTED an identical bouquet for me out of some of my other floral arrangements- how spectacular is she!? I couldn't recommend Canyonwood Ridge or Stephanie more!

y picturesque location for my dream wedding! My guests are still raving about my beautiful venue! Not only is this venue gorgeous, but it is functional, flows well, and is staffed with the most knowledgeable team. I utilized Amanda Blue coordination (onsite at the venue) and Alex was my planner. She was the most calming presence throughout my wedding planning process and could not have been more professional and responsive. I could call/text/email throughout planning and she always had the best reassuring answer to any question. She made every request feel possible, and executed the “day of” flawlessly. I didn’t feel one ounce of stress on my wedding day and I can honestly say it’s because of choosing Canyonwood Ridge and Alex. Thank you so much for everything you all did to make my dream wedding possible!

be the perfect venue. We had the ceremony indoor at the Chapel hall (they call it Plan B) and the reception at the Dining hall. The Chapel hall is just breathe-taking. It has beautiful scenery, sunset, and terrific acoustic arrangements. The bridal suite is awesome! It is spacious and has a great view of the beautiful lawn outside. The outdoor area is very photogenic. The venue is located on top of the hills and has a great view of the Dripping Spring area below. They kept the lawn green and tidy. We had many beautiful pictures there, along with the beautiful sun setting views. The staffs over here are amazing to work with; they helped out in all the ways possible. Amanda helped us with the contract; Anthony the owner is very friendly; and finally Lydia helped us along the way and carried out our vision/planning. We had a great time planning the whole thing out. Special thanks to Lydia for helping us with the sun shade during the ceremony, and helping us lighting the fireplace up during the reception; and the cleaning staff who cleaned up the venue right after the wedding concluded. They are super friendly in terms of vendor choice as well. We had Chef Vi, DJ Brian Webber and The Bird & The Bear as the cater, DJ, and the photographer, respectively. They were in constant contact with Lydia and issues were resolved as a team in a timely manner. Thanks to Canyonwood Ridge, it made our experience of a lifetime a truly special memory. We highly recommend this place.

made everything so easy and super stress free. The venue is so beautiful and stands on it's own... you don't even need to decorate it... and the entire space flows perfectly from ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner to dancing. We had a large number of children (about 25 kids) and the outdoor space and large dance floor was fantastic. Thank you for such an incredible night!

e. What was also great is the staff there are amazing!! We worked with Lydia and AJ and the rest of the staff there were so great and communicative throughout the whole process from beginning to end! They helped on the day of with making sure everything was just how we wanted it and were willing to make any changes when necessary. I would choose this venue again and again. gh for 200 guests (with a dance floor), chiavari chairs, onsite bride and groom dressing rooms, access to the venue from 9am til midnight, and the flexibility to bring in our own vendors. I did not feel like I was compromising on anything with this venue. In addition, the staff was amazing to work with! I interacted at one point or another with everyone on their staff and they were all very knowledgeable, super sweet, and happy to answer my questions. They even went out of their way to make sure we were able to swap out a domestic keg for Live Oak Hefeweizen as it is DH's favorite. Our guests are still raving about how gorgeous the venue was! We were so happy to see so many of our guests go outside and take in the breathtaking views! I made the smart choice to hire their in-house coordinating service and was fortunate to work with Lydia Simmons! She was so wonderful throughout the process. From the get-go she was well prepared, knowledgeable, organized, very patient, and understanding of my requests. Our day was perfect and ran smoothly thanks to her!

Among many other reasons, part of why we chose CWR was because of their outdoor and indoor ceremony spaces. We were planning on having the ceremony outside because of the view of the ridge, but the weather was supposed to be bad so we moved it inside. It didn't even feel like we were using our "Plan B" because of how beautiful the chapel is. If I had to plan my wedding all over, I would 100% choose CWR again and again. My only suggestion to future brides: choose the in-house coordinating with CWR! It makes so much sense and I wish I would've done it!

't want to "flip" the reception area. Canyonwood was perfect!!! All the girls got ready in the Bridal Suite and I thought it would be too crowded, but it seemed just right! (we had 7 bridesmaids, bride, 2 mothers & 3 hair & makeup!) A few of us were in and out getting things decorated or walking around, but it was not near as crowded as I anticipated. I can't wait to get my pictures back to see how everything came together with Canyonwood as a beautiful backdrop. The sunset was breathtaking and we received so many compliments on the venue. I can't say enough good things about the building or all the people that work there! Everyone was so kind and happy to answer the million questions I sent their way.

were always quick to respond and super helpful. If you choose to get married at Canyonwood, do yourself a favor and higher Amanda Hepner as your coordinator. Her services were a little more than I originally wanted to spend, but having her as a coordinator was the best decision we made. She is so helpful, and because she is employed at Canyonwood, she knows the venue forwards and backwards and makes the planning process a breeze. She's also great at giving advice on local vendors. Overall, I cannot say enough good things about Canyonwood Ridge, it truly is such a gorgeous venue and I'm still getting compliments from our guests on how beautiful it was.
