Literally everyone at the wedding commented on how good the food was. Everyone! I couldnt have wished for a better turnout! I even got consolation from one of the banquet managers who saw me freaking out before I walked down the aisle haha! We had capdebosq as a contract with Federal ballroom venue. AMAZING does not even describe how good this food was! If I could give you 10 stars I would. Our food tasting went so perfect and so delicious that the one thing I couldn’t wait for was to have it again on my wedding day. All the guests could not stop talking about how good all the food was. Capdeboscq really took of all of us and went above and beyond. We chose the shrimp & grits (AWESOME) , Cajun jambalaya, and Cajun chicken fettuccine. All 3 were really really good. Now, let’s talk about Sharon! I have NEVER met someone who actually catered to myself (the bride) and the groom the way she did during the reception. There was not a single moment that we didn’t have a drink in our hand. She was literally there serving us hand and food. At one point, I stepped away from the dancing crowd to switch from my heels to sandals, and there she was to help me! Grabbed my heels and brought them where they were supposed to go. Between capdeboscq our venue coordinator (Rebecca from federal ballroom) , I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect night!

AMAZING!!!! Capdeboscq was my caterer for my wedding in March 2021. Mr. Capdeboscq attended the reception and at the end of the night pulled my husband and I aside to make sure we were happy with everything. His food will knock you off of our feet. His menu has a variety of options for all guests.

OMG you will not find food and service any better than Capdeboscq. I have never liked most wedding venue's food because they have no seasoning or taste. I actually bought pretty little salt and pepper shakers to have on tables to help give the food more taste. Well that surely is not needed when it comes to Capdeboscq catering. The food never stopped coming the whole reception and to top it off they give you ALL the leftovers, most vendors will not give you that. The owner is a lovely older man that attends all his weddings and wants to make sure that his vision of his business is carried out. I loved the whole experience about meeting with Capdeboscq and doing the food tasting. I never knew I could go crazy over finger sandwiches but they have the most unique sandwiches that are to die for. If I can say that about finger sandwiches, you can't imagine what I could say about the other food choices. The shrimp and grits are the best I have ever tasted. I could go on and on about this 50 year old company but all I am going to say if you are looking for a caterer Capdeboscq is truly an authentic New Orleans Cajun Caterer. I can't say enough great things about Capdeboscq! They really took care of us on our special day and everything went so smoothly. The food was delicious and so plentiful! The bar options are impressive and our guests were so happy! The special options for add-ons can help make your event feel unique. Hubby and I were so busy but they made sure we had a few minutes to eat and packed us a box to-go for after!

The staff made us feel like family the entire time leading up to our wedding as well as the day of and after. At the tasting we sat with the founding member Gene and spoke about the history of capdeboscq— if you haven’t heard their shrimp and grits story be sure to ask! They’re experienced, professional, and very reasonably priced. They were also super flexible with our timing as this was a destination wedding as well as with a few must have items/modifications on my end. There was SO MUCH FOOD and it was all so delicious and beautifully set up- we couldn’t have asked for more from that day. We had personal staff for the bride/groom and other important people at the celebration but what it really felt like was every group of people was being serviced constantly. Well done! The next morning- when picking up items left at our venue- they sent us home with 5 HUGE bags of food to enjoy. It was like the celebration never ended.

Mr. Gene did the catering for my daughters wedding at the Federal Ballroom. Food was AMAZING! We had so many food options to choose from on the menu. The ice cream sundae bar was an option we never imagined we would have at a wedding and it was a big hit with the guest. I was appreciative that they provided a “to go” back with a taste of all the food items for bride/groom and both sets of parents. The day after we were able to sit and enjoy as we reflected on the weekend events.

They were extremely easy to work with and the food was amazing! They went above and beyond to accommodate my husband's food allergies and our specific requests. Highly recommend them!!!

They were so nice from the tasting to the reception! They made sure everything was perfect and it was exactly what you wanted, there was tons of left over food that me and my husband enjoyed throughly. Definitely would recommend them!

Capdebosq is amazing. Our daughter’s wedding was the night Hurricane Barry was supposed to hit New Orleans. Most caterers might have canceled. Gene managed to pull off a flawless event with a shortened staff due to employee safety. He pulled in family members and still delivered great service and our guests raved about the food!! Can’t say enough how happy we were with what they pulled off in very difficult circumstances!!

We were married at The Federal Ballroom, and Capdeboscq is their preferred caterer. We were so grateful they are because we couldn't have chosen a better caterer. The food and bar presentation were perfect. Guests loved the speed of service and friendly local staff, and raved about the quality of the food. We appreciated that the business is locally owned and family run and the pride and dedication that they bring to their work is unrivaled.

I cannot say enough great things about Capdeboscq! They were friendly, helpful, and easy to work with! When we went for a tasting it was just my now husband, myself, our mothers, and Mr. Larry, from Capdeboscq. We had his undivided attention and he was able to answer all of our questions. You have to try their shrimp and grits and shrimp chardonnay! The day of, their whole staff was professional and easy to work with. Our hostess made sure to ask what we wanted to drink and even made us sit down to eat for a bit. Our guests are still talking about how great the food was. In fact, we plan to make a small order for New Year's Eve already!

Larry and Mr Gene....CAPDEBOSQUE...a MUST for your wedding, catering needs! My husband and I married at The Federal Ballroom on 12/8/2018. When we were informed that they were the appointed caterers for the venue, my first thought was, “ok great, but who are they”?. From our 1st taste testing meeting —-to the reception—and everything in between, they are professional, kind, friendly, attentive, easy to work with team of professional caterers. Very detailed oriented, which was of extreme importance to us; however, they offer relative suggestions, anticipated our perspective needs with kind input, for our ceremony foods,and even taking into consideration, including our culture. Very personable, non-cookie cutter service, which is of importance to brides!! *And the food...exceptional!! Raving reviews from guest. Mr Gene, Larry, and Sharon, we can’t Thank this team enough for the impeccable, A+ food and service. HIGHLY recommend without reservation! You won’t be disappointed.

I want to discuss the performance of Capdebosq Catering during our wedding. We first met with Capdebosq Catering on Nov 3rd 2017 for a tasting at their office in Marrero. While there, we were informed that we are to meet with either Gambino’s Bakery, Swiss Confectionary or Haydel’s. We met with Adrienne Rousse at Gambino’s Bakery on March 24th 2018. We were there for a little over an hour, selecting and designing our wedding and groom cakes. We went over several specific details in designing our wedding and groom’s cakes. Upon leaving that day we asked Adrienne if there was anything else we need to do. She implied that it was all taken care of. We left assuming, as any reasonable person would, that the cake order was complete. On August 13, 2018, Capdebosq sent us an E-Mail to make final wedding preparations. In this E-mail they asked us with which bakery we had placed our order. On August 21st, 2018, we responded via E-mail that our order was placed at Gambino’s Bakery. It was at this point I wrote Capedebosq a $7,734.45 check. On our wedding night, I receive a phone call from the Federal Ballroom to inform me that there had been a problem with the cake order. ABSOLUTLY NOTHING HAD BEEN PREPARED! In speaking with Gambino’s just two hours before our vows, we were informed that our order status was listed as “pending”, it had never been finalized. The best they could do at that point was provide a fake cake and premade sheet cake that would not match our colors or theme. At no point prior to the wedding did Gambino’s inform us or Capdebosq that there was a problem with our order. As Gambino’s said in their own words “We had a pending wedding order for a 6-8-10 wedding cake and a crawfish pot cake…After more then sixty days, we did not hear back from you or your fiance. We figured you had opted to go with Swiss or Haydels” A competent bakery in a similar situation would have reached out to the couple and/or the caterer to see if they still wanted the wedding cake they meticulously selected. Furthermore, Capdebosq never contacted Gambino’s prior to the night of the wedding to arrange for delivery of our cakes. By the time our caterer realized there was a problem with the wedding and groom’s cakes, it was too late. Days later, as we tried to piece together what had happened, Gambino’s claimed that there had been a small charge we didn’t pay, approximately $200. Yet, they never felt it was necessary to inform anyone of this issue prior to the wedding. Obviously, after having spent nearly $30,000 on a wedding, we would have paid the two hundred bucks to avoid such a calamity had we only known. One would imagine that if a bakery and a caterer had failed to provide the correct wedding and groom’s cake, they would be HORRIFIED by such an error. Perhaps they would reevaluate their process, retrain employees (or fire incompetent ones) to ensure that such a mistake never happens again. However, Gambino’s and Capdebosq never seemed to appreciate the severity of their mistake. They were quick to pass blame and downplay the error. It was quite obvious that despite having spent top dollar and planning for over a year, our wedding was really never a priority for either of them. Eventually, after multiple heated phone calls, Capdebosq did offer a very small refund for their part in the error. Gambino’s provided no compensation and neither Gambino’s Bakery or Capdebosq Catering ever provided any form of apology.

We used this caterer for my daughters June wedding. The food was very delicious. The trays were passed throughout the entire reception. I received several compliments from our guests. They provide you with several food choices. My questions were answered in a prompt and extremely friendly manner. I love when people treat you as if you're their only client. The staff was courteous and very professional. I would definitely recommend this caterer.

My husband and I could not have asked for a better caterer for our wedding reception. They are the house caterer for Federal Ballroom, where we had our reception and the food was PHENOMENAL!! This was a destination wedding for us and while my husband and I had been to New Orleans many times, most of our guests had not. The cuisine that Mr. Capdeboscq prepared for us gave our guests that New Orleans experience that we were hoping for. Everyone is still talking about how great the food was! In addition to the great tasting food, Mr. Capdebosq and his catering staff were a gem to work with. We would highly recommend them to any couple looking for authentic New Orleans fare for their reception. The best!

My husband and I were married in March and our wedding guest are still talking about how amazing our food was!! We loved the food at our tasting but it was even better on our wedding day! Capdeboscq offers unique additional options as well. We had a sushi bar, bananas foster station, and beignets that were handed out at the door at the end as a “party favor”. Our guest LOVED this and I’m so happy capdeboscq offered these options. Also, the bars were well stocked. We had lots of heavy drinkers and the bar tenders were well prepared. Thank you Capdeboacq for helping to make our reception perfect!!

Capdebosque catering is absolutely amazing. My new hubby and I have ordered from them for personal parties at least 3 times since the wedding! We love the BLT finger sandwiches!

My daughter got married at the Federal Ballroom in March. We were able to taste Capdeboscq's food in advance so I knew it would be delicious. What was also awesome was the presentation of the food. They make everything look so beautiful! They are so willing to do whatever you want to make your day perfect. Mr. Gene worked with us before the wedding and contacted us to make sure we were happy after it was over. I can't say enough about how much we loved these people!!!

Our wedding was at the Federal Ballroom, and Capdeboscq is the preferred caterer. I wasn't too worried about having the caterer selected for me (we are from out of town), and Gene made everything super easy. We went to our tasting having reviewed the full menu and making decisions on some early favorites, and we were easily able to choose the rest of our selections after the delicious tasting spread they had for us. They even worked with us to make sure I had a firm handle on ingredients in several dishes to easily accommodate our guests with food allergies. All in all, the food was delicious and the experience was stress-free. Highly recommend!

Gene and Larry handled our daughter's wedding on June 30th at the Federal Ballroom. From the day we went to the tasting until the time the last person left the reception, we were AMAZED! We could not have asked for a smoother operation. The food you ask? INCREDIBLE! The food was SO incredible that I go there on a regular basis and order pans of food for my guests when I have parties instead of cooking it myself! I still hear about how FABULOUS the food was every time I see people who went to the wedding. It wasn't just ONE thing they rave about - they rave about it ALL! Thank you Gene and Larry - AWESOME food and even BETTER crew!

Larry, Gene, and the entire Capdeboscq crew were amazing! They made us feel like family as we were selecting our items as preparing our menu, and like royalty on our wedding day. Their staff members were so attentive to us and our guest, and the food is still being talked about... two months later!

After our tasting with Capdeboscq, we could not for our wedding day food especially the shrimp and grits. We had such a tough time picking out what we wanted because everything was spectacular, but we were blown away by the food the night of. Three months after, our guests are still telling us that it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding with great presentation and service. My husband, both our parents and I loved being able to take the food after the wedding with us and eat it for a few days after, because no newlywed couple likes to cook after their wedding! We could not say any bad things about Capdeboscq!

Still dreaming of our wedding food! It was amazing! The staff was incredible. We were never without drinks, they made sure everyone had plenty of food, and I have gotten so many compliments on how pleasant they were. Aside from an amazing staff is the best food I could have asked for. I thought "okay but it's still wedding food" until I actually sat down to eat at our wedding. Best food I've ever had! Make sure to try the shrimp and grits!

Everyone was so professional and friendly! I can’t say enough their menu is huge and everything is amazing. My husbands family is very Cajun and nothing can ever impress them. But we have gotten so many compliments about the food we had at our wedding. Even the bartenders knew which drink I liked by the middle of the reception, i never had to worry about stopping what i was doing to get a drink!! I cannot say enough about this awesome family owned business!

Capdeboscq was so helpful and accommodating! They delivered all of our food piping hot and on time! All we heard ALL night long was how AMAZING the food was!!! Thank you so much for making our NOLA wedding perfect! All of our guests from all over the US were in awe of the buffet of authentic cajun cuisine! From the mini mufalettas and poboys to the jambalaya and crawfish pasta, everything was delicious!

The food is the best in the industry. Classic, southern New Orleans style dishes that were delicious! How good the food was seems to be what everyone remembers from the wedding. Shrimp and grits are a must! Only issue of the night, was that they ran out of 3 of the 4 beers (fairly early into the evening) we chose for the reception. Should not have ran out for the money we paid. That was a little disappointing. Overall, I would recommend them, just make sure they provide more beer!

The food was delicious and fresh. All of the staff were so helpful while planning and during the reception! This was the same caterer that my parents had 25 years ago and they are still great!

Larry and the team at Capdeboscq are simply the best! We had so much fun working with them and their food was delicious. Our guests still rave about the food from our wedding at the Federal Ballroom. This group does everything for the wedding at Federal Ballroom - they brought all the servers, plates, etc. and my husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing. They also run the bar at the federal ballroom and include a great baseline liquor package. My husband requested a specific type of bourbon an Larry went out of his way to get it for us. He also sent us and our parents home with a ton of food which was a huge treat to have the day after the wedding! We also got to do a tasting which was a blast! Larry has passion for what he does and takes pride in his work. His business is a family business and their love for what they do is evident in their food and service. I am so glad we got to work with Capdeboscq. Thank you!!

Capdeboscq is the exclusive caterer for our reception venue (The Mule Barn at Destrehan Plantation). Mr. Larry was very easy to work with. We loved the food, and our wedding guests are still reminding us of how much they enjoyed everything they ate at the reception. There's a reason our reception venue works exclusively with them!

Amazing! I had my reception at the Federal Ballroom and these caterers were so nice and easy to work with. The owners are super sweet, the staff was awesome, and the food was delicious! They even had to go boxes packed up for the parents and me and my groom. I definitely recommend them, you cannot go wrong!!!

Best food I have ever tasted!! Kyle and I were simply blown away by everything done for us by Capdeboscq. The flavors were amazing! And the People are WONDERFUL!! Every moment of our day was taken care of by the wonderful hostess and they amazing wait staff. All our guests are still speaking wonders of how the local flavors came through in each dish. I had several vegan guests at my wedding and all of which were taken care of amazingly by Larry and the entire Kitchen! We are truly thankful for everything they have done for us :)

Our wedding was at The Federal Ballroom and Capdeboscq is the prefferred catering company. I was an out of town bride and though it made it easy that we didn't have to make a choice on a caterer, I was also a little nervous because I was not able to do any tastings prior to the wedding. I was BLOWN AWAY by how good the food was from the passed hors d'oeuvres to the dinner. We didn't hear anything but rave reviews from our wedding guests. They were even kind enough to box any leftovers and send them home with us. We definitely were happy to come home to those leftovers after a long night out in New Orleans. We even had enough to send home with our families. I was completely satisfied with everything; the service, the quantity and quality of food, and the accommodating nature of how they run their business. I also like that it is a family run business. Larry was kind, friendly, and so easy to work with during preparation and in person at the wedding. Super guy! At the reception a wonderful lady was assigned to be mine and my husband's personal attendant. I hate that I can't remember her name, but SHE WAS AMAZING! She fixed a plate for the me and my husband so we were sure to get something to eat because she knew we would be pulled in all kinds of different directions once everything kicked off. She also made sure the bride, groom, and our parents always had drinks in our hands so we weren't wasting time going over to the bar. Much appreciated :)!!!! She even helped my mom find her missing shoes! I would hire them again in a heartbeat. Thank you Capdeboscq for providing great service and delicious food!

I could not have asked for better food at our wedding! We chose a selection of various Cajun food and lots of seafood options but Capdeboscq offered a wide variety of other favorites such as Italian options and other Southern dishes. Also, his cheese and fruit display was amazing! Especially in the South, food is a very important part to a wedding and Capdeboscq will definitely meet expectations!

I suggest you don't waste your time looking any further. Mr. Capdeboscq and his family were so awesome to work with. They were attentive to every detail. Their staff was amazing during our reception. They kept drinks flowing and most importantly... THE FOOD WAS SPECTACULAR. So stop looking for other caterers. Just call them. You will not be disappointed.

Mr. Gene and his crew did a great job with our wedding. Everyone has been raving about his food for the last month. He was very flexible with doing a private tasting since I was planning the wedding from a different state and couldn't make one of the regular tastings. The only thing is I wish that the waiters had brought us (my groom and myself) food as well as drinks. They were great about asking what I wanted to drink, but I didn't get to eat any food. Other than that, they were great! I would recommend them!

Capdeboscq Catered my daughter, Laura's wedding on 9-12-15. From the Tasting to the Reception, working with Capdeboscq was a first class, amazing experience. They have a huge selection of delicious food. The Fruit and Cheese Station and Mashed Potato Bar we chose were spectacular. They delivered everything promised and more. The Signature drink was executed exactly as we had envisioned. The service was professional and impeccable. There was no waiting at any station or the bar. Everything served was not only beautiful but delicious. Capdeboscq far exceeded our expectations!

Capdeboscq Catering is so accommodating. They have so many delicious options to choose from which you can tailor to your needs. They offer unlimited food and drink which is unheard of. I created my own signature drink which they got all the ingredients for and served. The food presentations looked amazing and it tasted just as good as it looked. All my guests raved about the food and raved about how quickly they got their drinks and how good the bartenders were. They will make any substitutions you want for any liquor options or food options. It was just absolute first class service and exceeded my expectations. I loved my experience with Capdeboscq catering more than anything.

They are the only vendor allowed at the Destrehan Plantation. They work very well together. Frank was very easy to work with, tweaking our package until we got exactly what we wanted. Quality of the food was not excellent, but very good. Just a couple of selections that maybe tasted frozen or mass produced. Shrimp and grits were awesome. We selected the fried turkey over the beef and very happy about that. The up charge for the cheese/fruit/dip display - worth every penny and gorgeous! They worked seamlessly behind the scene. Never felt like the staff was intruding on the party all the while being very attentive. The hostess is there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Make a timeline of your expectations and they will follow it. Everyone kept telling me how good the food was. And plentiful! Parents will be sent home with a tasting of the full menu and anything else that was left over. We had at least a gallon of shrimp & grits, a whole turkey and various other delectables, enough to fill up my sub-zero frig! We had about 100 guests. My final thought is that this is not upscale catering, but very good, solid offering especially at this cost. I would definitely consider again, even in a different venue.

We went for a tasting last night with Capdeboscq and we all are so impressed!! Great food, friendly staff and the owner is just wonderful. They put my mind at ease that we are making the right choice in having them handle our wedding.

We used Cap de boscq Catering with the Federal Ballroom for our wedding reception, and they were outstanding. From planning to the event they were great to work with. They provided a very personal experience. I was surprised to talk to the owner multiple times during planning and he was so kind and helpful. The owner and staff at our reception 'catered' to our every wish. They were always there if you needed a drink or anything at all. (The same for both of our parents.) The food was delicious. Our guests were raving about it. Everyone we talked to after the wedding said Cap de boscq was the best wedding food they have ever had. I don't have one negative thing to say. I was very pleased and would recommend them to anyone! At the end of the night they even sent us out with multiple boxes of goodies for a midnight snack! THE BEST!

UNBELIEVABLE food!!! I got married May 23, 2015 at the federal ballroom and capdeboscq catered it. The food was GREAT! We had shrimp and grits, crawfish Monica, and chicken Marsala over mashed potatoes for our 3 entrees. I would highly recommend these 3 items although everything we had there was fantastic. We also paid extra for a fruit and cheese display and it was beautiful! Our favorite passed hor d'oeuvres were the shrimp Chardonnay, crab patties, bacon wrapped shrimp, and crawfish pies! Gene was there for the wedding and he is so professional and easy to work with. Sharon was our attendant and met me, my groom and our families every need! The alcohol selection is top notch for no additional charge! Would highly recommend Capdeboscq Catering!! Thank you Gene

Mr. Gene and the entire team and Cap de Boscq Catering were amazing. The food was fantastic, fresh and our guests all had great things to say about it. The roast beef carving station and cheese stations were particular hits. We had such a fun process working with Mr. Gene who is so helpful, kind and will ensure that your food turns out just the way you want it. All the appetizers were delicious and I particularly loved the crawfish étouffée. We had an attendant helping us the entire reception to ensure we had drinks when we wanted them, or any other needs. It was a joy to work with Cap de Boscq at the Federal Ballroom for our reception.

Capdeboscq is the caterer that Destrehan Plantation uses for weddings there. Their food is delicious and the coordinator they provide is very attentive. They were very accommodating with dietary restrictions as well as with us stocking the bar with some specialty stuff for family and bridal party. Capdeboscq has been in this business for a long time and it shows through with their professionalism and attention to detail. Unfortunately, I didn't get to have any of the food I picked out because my husband accidentally left the honeymoon boxes Capdeboscq packed for us outside on our A/C unit all night...hahaha! I have however had their food at other weddings I have been to and can say that it is very delicious and you will not be disappointed if you use them for your event!

Our wedding was at the Federal Ballroom and Capdeboscq is the preferred caterer for the venue. We were so fortunate enough to have them for our reception. I corresponded mostly with Mr. Larry and he was the nicest man and was so helpful. They have a great selection of appetizers and entrees so it was a bit overwhelming when the time came to decide. A lot of my family was coming from up north so we wanted them to have a great New Orleans experience. Mr. Larry took the time out to speak with my dad about the selections they provided. My dad was VERY impressed after speaking with Mr. Larry. They were very accommodating with any changes we wanted to make ie changing the crawfish fettuccine to crawfish w/ penne and any last minute changes we had. Their bar service is top notch. Their alcohol selection can't be beat, they offer Absolute and Ketal One vodka as their call brand which in some bars are considered top shelf. Capdeboscq provided us with our own attendant that followed us throughout the night to make sure we had whatever we needed, food, drinks, finding people we needed to take pictures with, etc. They really go above and beyond to make your experience stress free and memorable. Everyone from up North especially raved about the food! I was so happy I was able to thank and hug Mr. Larry right before we went out for the second line. Capdeboscq is a great family, great people, and a great business and it shows in their work. I would definitely recommend them!!!

Not disappointed at all - all of my guests came up to me after the wedding and said "OMG YOUR FOOD WAS DELICIOUS!" As the bride, granted you don't eat much, but they made sure to send you home with champagne and doggie bags of all of the food. Absolutely delicious!!

The food was delicious everyone complemented on it. I didn't get to taste the food at the reception but I enjoyed the boxes that were sent home with us the night of the wedding, there was a taste of everything. Mr. Gene is an awesome person to work with.

Our food was the talk of the night and for many nights to follow! Everything was delicious and exactly how we ordered. I was very happy with their work and their staff who tended to me and my husband all night. We were well taken care of! Couldn't have asked for a better caterer.

My husband and I had attended a wedding at the Federal Ballroom prior to us even being engaged - one thing that stood out in our minds was how good the food was! When we booked the Federal Ballroom we learned that Capdeboscq was the exclusive caterer - so that was a relief to not have to worry about finding a caterer. A few months after we booked the Federal Ballroom and by extension Capdeboscq, we received an invitation from Capdeboscq to attend a tasting at their location. My husband and I were very impressed with this evening and it was truly helpful to attend. We were able to ask questions that we had and also get to know them. A few months after that I called Gene to "set" our menu, he gave great advice and was very helpful. He is also one of the nicest people you could ever meet - and he TRULY wants the Bride to be happy. I called him back a few different times with questions or make changes and every time he told me that was not a problem and that I could make changes up to 1-2 weeks before the wedding. One of the changes we had requested was to have Abita Amber served instead of Miller Light, we had prepared to pay a little extra for this but we were assured this was not a problem at all and it wasn't an additional cost - how refreshing! The actual day of the wedding the Capdeboscq team couldn't have been better, before they announced the bridal party, as guests were filing in, the bridal party was taken into a private room where drinks and sandwiches were waiting for us. This was such a nice touch and really put everyone at ease and was a nice moment in general. At that time we were introduced to one of Gene's daughters (I feel awful that I cannot remember her name) who was basically our own concierge for the evening. She was fabulous, prepared plates of food for my husband and me and actually made us sit down to eat (thank goodness!). She also asked us what we would like to drink that evening, I of course said "champagne" my husband said "Abita" and she kept filling us up all night (at one point I had to put my champagne glass down because she was too efficient!). Now this was HUGE for me -- not only were my husband and I taken great care of, so were our parents! My parents were throwing the biggest party of their lives and really appreciated how well treated and served they were. The food was fantastic and I loved the signs they had printed saying what the food was (with a nice Fleur di Lis decoration as well), there were 2 bars set up at opposite corners of the ballroom so there was no waiting in lines. They also had a "Grab and Go Corona" bucket at the bar, which we had no idea was going to be there - but we loved it! I do not remember what the pricing was, but I do remember my mother saying how reasonably priced they were for the food and service we received. I highly recommend Capdeboscq Catering to any and all brides!
