She’s the person you want in your corner through this process. Jamie has a gift for listening to your ideas, your priorities, and your vision. She somehow takes the jumbled mess of “we think we want this, but maybe a little of that” and turns it into an actionable plan with clear next steps. She helps you feel confident in your decisions, and she’s full of creative, smart solutions every step of the way. One of Jamie’s greatest strengths is her ability to build the perfect vendor team. She understood what we wanted from each vendor — both from a style and personality perspective — and presented us with thoughtfully curated options. After meeting with potential vendors, Jamie would talk through our impressions with us and help guide us toward the choices that best fit our vision and priorities. Thanks to her, we ended up with a dream team — vendors we genuinely loved and who worked seamlessly together. It’s no surprise that whenever we mentioned Jamie was our planner, every single vendor raved about her. Throughout the planning process, Jamie kept us on track, even when life got busy and we started falling behind. She helped us focus, prioritized what needed to happen when, and somehow made the whole process not just manageable but genuinely fun. We actually looked forward to our meetings with her and would leave feeling energized and reassured every time. Even before our wedding day, we were telling anyone who would listen how amazing Jamie is — we would have recommended her a thousand times over. But I think the real measure of a planner’s greatness comes on the wedding day itself. And this is where Jamie’s magic went beyond anything we could have imagined. Without going into the whole saga, we ended up facing hurricane-force winds at our tented outdoor wedding — winds so intense they threatened to lift the tent off the ground and forced everyone to evacuate indoors mid-event. While this could have been an absolute disaster, Jamie handled it with such grace, professionalism, and calm that we hardly had time to realize what was happening. Knowing that I’m a more laid-back, type-B bride, Jamie had quietly prepared backup plans well in advance — so by the time we realized there was an issue, she already had solutions in motion. Our incredible vendor team pivoted with her lead, and thanks to Jamie, our wedding was still everything we hoped for — joyful, beautiful, and filled with love (and a little unexpected adventure). I honestly don’t have enough words for how grateful we are to Jamie. She saved our wedding day, plain and simple. I truly don’t know how things would have turned out without her at the helm, and I don’t want to imagine it. Working with Jamie was one of the very best decisions we made.
