Capstone occassions made our wedding day absolute magic. I started the planning process on my own but got stuck and unmotivated because i felt overwhelmed/not entirely sure what was next. Tia jumped in and helped me get excited about the process again and accomplish the tasks in order of importance and made sure it was a day that both Mike (my now husband) and I envisioned and wanted to make it special for us. Because of her experience she has so many friends in the business. I appreciated she recommended vendors based on who the two of us are and what we were looking for and within our budget (and ways to save). She thinks about EVERYTHING! Things we never would have considered on our own. My favorite being the sunset photos of me and my husband. He doesn’t like pictures but he loved how they turned out. Not only that, she makes sure it’s a seamless process and day that’s stress free. My mom was so grateful to be able to let loose and relax and could not say enough about how instrumental Tia and her team were to make the day so beautiful and coordinating with all the vendors so we didn’t have to. Day before the wedding, I was honestly a mess and left our name tags at my office and a few other prints including labels and a mock up picture of what we were thinking. So, we had to last minute hand write the name tags and in a rush left unorganized and unlabeled bins for them to sort out. My brain was all over the place and it didn’t occur to me until too late but when we walked in, it was even better than I imagined. They really went the extra mile and made everything picture perfect. Our friends and family were so impressed and we’re still getting compliments to this day. Thank you Tia and the Capstone Occassions team! You are fun to work with, easy to get along with (even some of our craziest family members), hardworking, magician ninjas (for all the stuff you do behind the scenes we will never even know about- thank you). We are forever grateful for the best and happiest day of our lives!

If you are second guessing if you need a coordinator for your wedding, I can promise you that out of all the decisions we made for our wedding day, that hiring Tia this was the absolute BEST decision we made!! Tia is absolutely incredible, and I would have been 100000x more stressed the week of my wedding and the day of my wedding if she was not there. Tia is so organized and has such an eye for making things beautiful. We met with Tia periodically for months leading up to my wedding, and she completely understood my vision and what I wanted for the day. She helped us put together the timeline, worked with my vendors and met with them so everyone was on the same page, and did the set up for our ceremony and reception space which was a HUGE relief. I trusted Tia completely, and I am so happy we did because everything turned out so beautiful! Tia was always there to answer my questions and give recommendations, and I am just so grateful to her for all she did for us. Do yourself a favor and stress less throughout your wedding planning process and on your wedding day and book Tia as your coordinator. You deserve it! Thank you for everything, Tia!! Tia from Capstone Occasions is simply incredible!! I opted for their partial planning package, which involved Tia's assistance with various tasks throughout the planning stage and she served as the day-of coordinator. During the planning stage, Tia supplied us with a very detailed checklist to guide us. It was super helpful having an itemized to-dos list broken out by months away from the wedding. The online portal also provided additional tools such as seating chart design, guest list management and vendor information, which made the process even smoother. Tia made herself available to my husband and me on multiple occasions throughout the planning process. We discussed any inquiries we had, addressed challenges and issues we were encountering, and really covered everything else in between. Her proactive and supportive approach truly made a difference! On the day of the wedding, Tia went above and beyond to handle every detail. She ensured that the vendors arrived on time and that their setups proceeded seamlessly, arranged all of our decorations, made sure our schedule was on-time, packed up all our decor/items after the wedding and placed them securely in my husband's car. She even went the extra mile of driving his car from the venue back to our hotel so we would not have to worry about getting it the next morning. Tia's commitment to ensuring a flawless experience did not go unnoticed, and we are incredibly grateful for her outstanding assistance.

Tia was the bow that tied everything together to create our perfect day. From the very beginning she took the time to get to know who we were and what our vision was. She always answered our questions quickly and did not hesitate to offer suggestions when decisions became tough. When it came to the day of the wedding, I was able to sit back and enjoy my day because I knew Tia was going to take care of everything else. If I recommended anything to a future bride, it would be to have a Tia!

I don’t usually post reviews unless I’ve had a terrible experience somewhere, but my experience here was the exact opposite. Your wedding day is a day that you put years of mental effort into, and it’s one of the days in your life that you just need to go perfectly. Imagine spending all that time planning something, and then the day comes and you don’t worry about a thing. How? By hiring Tia. I thought my wife and I would be worried about everything on the day of, but we looked back and realized we didn’t worry about ANYTHING. As an entertainment industry professional myself, I work with a lot of planners, some great, some just there to collect a check, but Tia Is incredible. If you even think that there’s a chance you’ll be worried about little details the day of, hire Tia. She’s worth every penny.

I cannot recommend Tia enough!!! I can't even imagine what my wedding would have been like without her. She kept us on track with everything, made sure we knew what needed to be done and when, was always available to help us with anything and everything, had the answer to EVERY question, and made sure (at least in our eyes) that absolutely NOTHING went wrong on our wedding day. She helped ease our minds and made everything easier throughout the whole wedding-planning process (which, let's be honest, gets stressful!). If you're looking for a wedding planner, YOU NEED TIA. It doesn't get better than her! She has soooooo much experience and really knows what she is doing. My perfect day would not have been as perfect as it was without her, and I say that with one thousand percent certainty. She is worth every penny and more. My husband and I are eternally grateful for her and everything that she did for us.

There are truly no words that can describe how amazing Tia is! I have heard so many couples and families talk about how stressed they were before their special day that when the day actually came, they couldn't wait for it to be over. This is the exact opposite of how my husband and I felt and a lot of that is because of everything that Tia did for us. She is truly a professional when it comes to wedding planning and there isn't anyone else that I can think of that would do a better job than her. Throughout our whole wedding planning process there was never a time where I questioned her ability or felt that something wouldn't be taken care of. She was always on top of everything! We truly felt like Tia cared about our day and wanted nothing but happiness for us. She pays attention to literally every detail, to the point of her putting my family and I's dancing sneakers under our tables so when we sat down to eat, we didn't have to worry about leaving the reception area to get our comfy shoes on. Our day was perfect to us and we owe so much of that to Tia. If you are wondering whether or not to book her, DO IT! You will not regret your decision the slightest bit. We didn't have to worry about one thing the whole day and to me that is priceless. Thank you for everything Tia! Even a year later, your name still gets brought up when we talk about our wedding and how it would have never been what it was without you. Tia from Capstone Occasions is everything you need when planning a wedding and making that wedding day perfect. From the engagement to the wedding day, she keeps you on track, solves all the “bumps in the road” and is just a fun person to meet with and plan the perfect wedding. As the parents of the bride, we were able to enjoy the wedding day and all our guests. We didn’t have to worry about setting up, packing up, or the timeline of events during the ceremony and reception. Everything was really perfect! We used Capstone Occasions and Tia was such a sweet and amazing wedding coordinator and made our wedding planning process so easy with her help. We originally met Tia at DC Estate Winery, and we knew right away we wanted to work with her just from our first meeting. She was very engaging, and truly just wanted to get to know us and what our vision was for our dream wedding. We can’t imagine having gone through our wedding planning without her. Tia was always on top of everything, planned several meetings with us to make things easier, and did everything she could to make our wedding day absolutely perfect! With our busy work schedules, Tia was able to keep us stress free and kept us on track when our wedding day came closer. As for the wedding day, Tia was there from start to finish and made sure that our day was beautiful, memorable, and absolutely perfect. We can’t thank Tia enough for everything she had done for us!

This review is long overdue as our daughters wedding was 12/18/21 but I have sung Tia’s praises every chance I can when meeting anyone planning a wedding. Our daughter lived out of state but the wedding was here in Wisconsin. Tia managed everything down to every little detail! Her involvement kept the planning process stress free for all of us. We had an unexpected situation arise the Wednesday before the wedding and without Tia, I don’t know that we would have made it through. Our other daughter and Matron of Honor got COVID along with our granddaughter who was the flower girl. The week before a wedding is high with emotions but now the bride will not have her sister by her side on one of the biggest days of her life. Tia was there through all the tears and supported our entire family. She was our “sense” when we had none. We scrambled for ideas to make them a part of it virtually and Tia didn’t hesitate to do what needed to be done getting technology set up, last minute changes but most importantly the emotional support we all needed. We are eternally grateful that she was a part of this day and will be our wedding planner for any future weddings. I would highly recommend her no matter how big or small a wedding as she works with each couple to meet their needs not only from planning perspective but more importantly from a cost perspective.

Tia was our wedding angel. We met Tia when we ended up having to change our venue 2 months before our wedding. Tia helped me get everything in order on such short notice, and she kept me excited for my wedding throughout all the insane planning and last minute curveballs. The week leading up to the wedding, she kept me organized and calm, giving me lots of tips and advice. And at our actual wedding, she was there every second to make sure everything was perfect. She is a gift to everyone around her and I can honestly say our wedding wouldn’t have happened without her! She took so much of the stress away and my wedding turned out gorgeous because of her.

Tia is the absolute BEST. I really cannot even begin to describe the ways she went above and beyond to make our day everything we wanted and more. She thinks about every single detail and makes the planning process such an enjoyable time. I rarely felt stressed with planning because Tia took care of communication with vendors, floor plans, decoration details, and anything we needed/wanted help with. Her organization is insane, and she thinks of even the smallest details that elevate your wedding experience. From making sure we followed our timeline to accommodating our unique food stations to making sure no one saw me before I walked down the aisle, she took such great care of us. She has tons of experience and helped us plan our day down to the minute. She was easy to communicate with and even met with us outside her work hours to finalize details leading up to our day. If you want to enjoy your wedding planning experience, HIRE TIA!!! My husband and I have said SO many times that our wedding would not have gone the way it did without her. We love her and are so thankful she made our dream wedding happen!

Tia truly is the best ever! We worked with Tia for over 2 years after postponing our wedding due to COVID and miss hanging out with her for our planning meetings. She kept us on track with timelines and was someone we could always rely on for a helpful and honest opinion. Her Planning Pod website was a valuable tool and her coordination/relationships with vendors was exceptional. Tia led our rehearsal dinner to where we went into the day of the wedding feeling fully prepared. The day of the wedding, Tia made everything run smoothly behind the scenes, including decorating, maintaining timeline, handing out our tips to vendors, and so much more. She really helped this type A bride remain calm throughout the day to enjoy every moment. We only have amazing experiences to share and can not recommend her services enough for your wedding!

So you did it, your engaged and it’s time to start planning. Your first smart decision was finding your sole mate, your second smart decision is reading this review and contacting Tia!!! We met Tia at DC Estates Winery when checking out venues and found out she was included in the package. We had no idea on how to plan a wedding and we both have fast pace careers that limited our time. Tia was the absolute best thing to have ever happened to us. Our first meeting left us amazed as she genuinely wanted to get to know us and find out what’s important to us. From there she kept us on track with goals and timelines, kept the process fun and stress level extremely low. We looked forward to our planning meetings, which always left us heading home smiling and excited for our day. Never in a million years did we think planning a wedding could be so much fun. By the time our day came, EVERYTHING was perfect, absolutely blown away with how it turned out and the key to this was Tia. She expertly put the plan into motion and kept everything on time. Even when a brief rain shower appeared mid ceremony, out of no where she pulls out umbrella’s to save the day. I work in the fire service and leadership is key in our field. I have never seen anyone lead as well or effective as she does, not only with her staff but clients as well. Tia is no longer known to us as our wedding planner, she is a friend and we are forever great full to have had her on our team for our big day!!! My wife and I got married August 27th, 2022. We chose DC Estate Winery because of how beautiful it was, and Tia (our wedding coordinator) made our wedding our dream wedding. She set every thing up the day of exactly how we had wanted. She dealt with anything and everything that came up. She was available at every time of the day that we needed her ( my wife had questions at every hour of the day) . She was honest with us on all of our ideas, if they would work or not and anything we wanted she made sure it happened. She communicated with all of our vendors so we did not need to do any of that. She also made sure we were eating throughout the night of the wedding. I would 100% recommend DC Estate Winery and Tia!!

I don't even know where to begin! Tia was absolutely phenomenal through it all! From the beginning when we were in the process of choosing our venue, she wasn't pushy. She gave us time to talk together alone before we made any decisions. She was just so pleasant. During the planning, Tia answered every.single,one of my questions and let me tell you... there were A LOT! She took all of the stress of wedding planning away and it was just the most enjoyable experience for my husband and I. When we got to the day of the wedding, Tia took care of EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING! She was on top of it, even with the guys ;) Our wedding day could not have been more perfect and if anything went wrong... I still don't know! That is how amazing Tia is! She watched our card box and cleaned up everything at the end of the night so it was a quick load into my parents car. And as the couple.. you are not responsible for an ounce of it! All I had to do was make sure I was on that last shuttle back to the hotels :) Seriously, if you are looking for the most perfect wedding experience, you will not be disappointed in working with Tia! LOOK NO FURTHER, Tia at Capstone Occasions is truly, genuinely, and honestly the BEST in the business. My husband and I met Tia a while ago during our early search for a wedding venue, and right away we knew we were not only just in “good” hands, but we were also in the BEST hands for our special day. Every bride goes into their wedding day hoping that it’s magical, organized and everything they could hope for – Tia will give you that and MORE. She goes above and beyond to make sure every single detail is noted and executed to perfection. She will communicate with the rest of your vendors to make sure your schedule is set and that everyone is on the same page. For someone like me, that likes to plan and be in control, she never had me question anything - she always assured us everything was in place so we could sit back and enjoy our day. We planned our wedding (and vow renewal due to covid) from California, and Tia never missed a beat. She still covered everything and made us feel assured that we were taken care of. We looked forward to our meetings because we always knew we would connect and be heard about the things we were looking for. She truly got to know us, and that meant the world to us. During one of our meetings, I told her how concerned I was I would be so busy that I would take time to eat during the day, and once our ceremony was over Tia came over to us with a platter of appetizers for my husband and I, and as our bridal party stared patiently at the food, Tia said, “Not until the bride and groom eat!” LOL It was so funny, but in all seriousness, she listened attentively to my simple concern, and she made sure I was comfortable and taken care of. Such a small detail that I will rave about for ever. We 100% booked our venue BECAUSE of Tia. When asked why we chose the venue by family and friends, we simply said- “Tia.” She is so detail oriented, and every meeting is genuine because she wants to get to know you and your partner as a couple – not just a contract. You can tell she absolutely puts her heart and soul into her work and into taking care of each couple, individually for what they want and hope their day to be. A “thank you” will never be enough to tell her how we feel for how she made our special day… the PERFECT day. My husband and I got married at DC Estate Winery, working with Tia, as our wedding event planner. The planning process almost felt too easy! Tia was always there to guide us as far as what we should be working on next and answer any questions we had. We appreciated how quickly she always got back to us, making us feel she was never too busy, despite being in the thick of wedding season. Our wedding day was the most perfect day ever. Tia and her team set up all our decor and made sure the day ran smoothly. Tia fixed every hiccup, navigating thru rain and missing decorations, without worrying us and let us just enjoy the day. On top of making sure things ran smoothly, she went above and beyond to make sure we got to enjoy every little part of our day. She brought us appetizers during our photos and even gave me a pair of her own socks to save my blistering feet. Through the planning process we grew to be great friends with Tia. We cannot recommend her enough when it comes to planning your special day. She puts her whole heart into making sure it’s everything you’ve dreamed of, and more, without all the stress.

I've delayed writing this review because I have trouble knowing how to start and how to put into words the amazing job Capstone Occasions did for me and my husband. From day one, Tia was helping us with every little detail. She asked questions we didn't know to ask, and provided us with superior resources when we asked for anything. She was there when we needed her, and, at the same time, let us design, create, and make decisions for our wedding. It was such a comfort to know she was there any time we needed her. Even on our wedding day, when it rained and our outdoor ceremony had to be moved inside, she made it look like a fairytale. The first time I saw the ceremony inside was when I stepped my first foot down the aisle, and I was just amazed. As someone who is very type A (though not a Bridezilla 🙂 ), I found myself telling people to ask Tia or find Tia on the wedding day, something I would not have done in the past. I trusted her with every aspect of our wedding, and it turned out to be the most perfect day. I can honestly say having Capstone Occasions be part of our day was one of the best decisions we made. We had a perfect day, and now have a great friend!

My husband and I met Tia through booking our wedding venue at DC Estate Winery back in January 2019 for our originally planned 10/10/20 date. We instantly connected on MANY things, but one of them being the fun wedding date and she held on to it for us until we could come back and sign a contract. Little did we know at the time how lucky we would be to work with Tia while wedding planning, and for much longer than we anticipated during Covid postponements. Truly the best part of having our wedding at DC Estate Winery was Tia. Words can't describe how lucky my husband and I feel to have Tia in our lives and to have been a part of our wedding planning process! Throughout the last 3 years she has really become a part of our family! She makes the whole planning process seamless. From frequent check ins and meetings, to knowing the venue inside and out, understanding each couples individual vision for their wedding day, thinking of all the little details leading up to and day of, always being an email or phone call away throughout the whole planning process, knowing so many of the other local vendors that we worked with for our wedding, and being the best support system (pre- and during-Covid). Every other vendor that we worked with had nothing but amazing things to say about Tia, which we already knew, but it says so much that Tia truly loves her job and the wedding industry, and makes an impact on everyone she works with. Tia was a godsend in helping us postpone our wedding due to Covid and we are grateful every day that we had an amazing coordinator and venue that made such a hard decision easier to navigate. Tia helped making our wedding day go seamlessly, made all our dreams and visions come true, and our families and wedding parties fell in love with her too. They all raved about her after the wedding. We know Tia will be in our lives forever and we've already made it a point to back into town to catch up with her post-wedding. You will absolutely not regret working with Tia for your wedding and we would recommend her to everyone and anyone!!
