I’m Robert Barnes, and ever since I picked up my dad’s old film camera at the age of five, I’ve been in love with capturing life’s special moments. At 17, I shot my first wedding and immediately knew this was what I was meant to do. There’s something truly special about being part of such an important day, and having the opportunity to tell someone’s unique love story through my lens is an honor I don’t take lightly. For the past 10 years, I worked for other photography companies, gaining valuable experience and refining my craft. But when I got married myself, I realized just how expensive professional photography had become. I couldn’t believe how difficult it was for couples to afford beautiful, high-quality images of one of the most important days of their lives. That experience opened my eyes and inspired me to start Captured by Robert. I wanted to create a company that offers professional, beautiful photography at prices that make sense. I believe that everyone deserves amazing photos of their wedding or event without having to break the bank. By running my own business without a middleman, I can offer competitive pricing without sacrificing the quality of my work. My goal is to make sure every couple feels comfortable, supported, and confident in my ability to capture their day exactly as they imagine it.
