Cardinal was very responsive when we were inquiring about booking, and were up front about their pricing. We found they were by far the most affordable, well-reviewed transportation company in the Columbus area. We did have to specifically request a copy of our booking confirmation (booking/payment was done over the phone, and we didn't realize until a few weeks later that we didn't receive confirmation), and had to request information for our assigned driver in the week prior to our wedding. We didn't feel that these tiny inconveniences warranted a lower review, just more of an FYI for those booking with them to add those things to your to-do list! We had no trouble getting this info when we asked- just a quick email and we got the info promptly!!

ses to pick up the wedding party girls and guys from AirBNBs and then transfer them to the Darby House. Then the buses picked up wedding guests at the Fairfield Inn and transferred them to the venue. Afterwards, we had 3 pickup times and the buses brought people safely back to the hotel. We also had the buses continue downtown to the Short North for an after party and more dancing. At the end of the night the buses brought people back to the hotel at 2am. I am so grateful everyone was transported safely and no one was in a position to get a DUI. Every wedding should provide buses to allow people to celebrate safely and have more fun.

All in all, I would recommend Cardinal Transportation but suggest drivers review the itinerary ahead of time.

her shuttle going between the reception and hotel at night. However, four days before my wedding - FOUR DAYS! - I received a call that the shuttle I booked wasn't going to work out. They were afraid that the shuttle wouldn't be able to turn around in the church parking lot, so they wanted to give me a shuttle that would transport about 20 passengers instead of the 60 I booked. I understand the safety issues - if a shuttle can't turn around, then it can't turn around. But I booked the shuttle four months prior under the assumption that 120 guests could be transported, which is what I needed. Offering to transport 40 people instead of 120 was not an acceptable solution. It took over an hour on the phone to convince Cardinal that they needed to provide two shuttles for 20 passengers in order for me to be able to transport everyone - after all, if guests get stranded it looks like the bride and groom failed to plan, not the shuttle company (which wasn't true in this case!) I was pleased with the outcome, but upset that it took so much convincing and time on the phone to get to that resolution, when it should have been handled far sooner than four days before my wedding. Then, at the reception, we booked the shuttle to run through 10:30. However, after dropping us off at the hotel at around 10:10 (with a completely full shuttle, and guests that were still waiting outside), instead of making another loop to pick up guests, the shuttle driver apparently decided just to stop driving and go home. We had 30 guests stranded at our reception venue - including my husband's parents. I'm not sure I would recommend Cardinal to future couples given the headache it was to deal with them.

All of our guests were wowed at the quality of the two 56-passenger buses we had to shuttle them to the church and reception and we felt like a million bucks in the decked out 13-passenger sprinter bus. We had an issue after the wedding where a group of family members missed the bus due to family photos and Cardinal quickly had one of the buses loop back after dropping off current guests. I couldn't believe how easy to work with they were and how easy they made my experience. I wasn't sure what to expect but I think for the service we received Cardinal was well worth the price.

My only complaint was the booking/contracts were a bit unorganized. Every time I called we had to talk through every single detail again because there were so many contracts for the different trips. Everyone was picked up on time, dropped off on time, and no one was left at the venue after the reception (which was 25 minutes from the hotels and ended at 12:45am). Great communication, great experience, and punctual. Those are the 3 keys to a successful transportation company. Highly recommend Cardinal Transportation.

hey started the 'clock' as they were leaving their lot - an hour away from the venue! Who does that?! My client shouldn't have to pay for the time it takes them to get to the venue and back! I've worked over 200 weddings as a coordinator and have never heard of a transportation shuttle doing this. The shuttle driver said he finished at 11 PM, a half an hour before our end time. With all these limitations we only had ONE shuttle ride to the hotel (luckily there was barely enough room for the guests staying at the hotel). He didn't seem very friendly but he was polite. I felt like my client was scammed out of their shuttle time. They couldn't pay me to use their shuttle for another client. Very disappointing.

e done in 2 previous weddings in 2 different cities. Cardinal Transportation is a leader in its field! They were very helpful in determining the most cost efficient way to get our bridal party and guests to and from our event at #Irongate Equestrian Center. We had a 14 seater make the morning runs, one for the bride and bridesmaids and then for the groom and groomsmen. On time. Friendly drivers. Safe. We then had two 56 seaters and a 22 seater make 2 stops in the city to pick up guests. All buses were on time with clean cut, welcoming drivers who were in constant communication with each other to be certain that everyone got safely to the wedding. The buses were very clean inside and out and again, wonderful drivers. We had buses standby for an early return run if needed, which they did. Post reception return trips went with ease despite hitting a wall of rain and wind on the way back. I found Cardinal extremely easy to work with and could highly recommend them!

have to say we were very disappointed with their service, especially given the high costs (4 shuttles before, 3 shuttles after, all at the required 3 hour minimum, topped out over $2000). I very rarely write bad reviews - I am pretty easy to please. But Cardinal blew it on both ends of the evening. They arrived at the hotel 30 minutes ahead of schedule, which wasn't an issue except that they then departed for the venue with our guests 30 minutes ahead of schedule. They brought our guests to the venue 30 minutes early, despite being specifically instructed to depart at a prearranged time!! They did not follow directions and it was total chaos for us and our wedding coordinator. Not the stress we needed right before the ceremony. To make matters worse, after the reception, they were supposed to stagger the three shuttles so that guests would not be waiting around at the venue. Instead, they ran all three shuttles together, so that there were extremely long wait times for our guests to get back to the hotel. Again, not ideal, not what we wanted, and definitely not what they were instructed to do. In addition, when I said something to the driver about this at the end of the night, he was rude to me and my wife. Seriously, who is rude to the bride and groom on their wedding night?!? I definitely would avoid Cardinal Transpiration at all costs. Highly disappointed.
