Carfagna's Catering

Overall one of the worst decisions we made in selecting a vendor. Carfagna’s “supplied” the beverages for our wedding. The bartender showed up an hour early and caused our venue to be upset with us. Then when asked if they could have a tip jar put, we told the bartender the venue does not allow that and we would take care of tips at the end of the reception. He left it out anyway. The beer selection was not what we had asked for and we were told “oh sorry that was our bad, we loaded the wrong kind to the truck.” They also ran out of water.... we found out that they only brought 60 bottles when we told them we had 120 guests. (We paid per person!!) so half of the people didn’t even get a single bottle of water on a 95 degree sunny day. When they ran out of water they told us they could serve glasses of water, and I said that was fine, and then he scooped water out of the bottom of the dirty cooler to give to people! Absolutely unacceptable. Even after all of that, my out of town uncle left the venue to go get bottles of water (and ice since they ran out of that too), got lost and missed some of the event. They over charged us for the amount of time the bartender was there, and then they contacted us to reimburse us for that hour and because we had these troubles, they allowed us $50 back when we spent about $1700. I told my husband that they can keep their pitiful $50. They never called us back after calling multiple times. I tell every single couple that asked who we had for our bar service that they are a terrible company. “Family people” well I surely wouldn’t want to be in that family!!!

We had a wonderful experience with Carfagna's as our caterer. John was so friendly and answered all my questions so nicely from my first email. His kindness is why I wanted to switch to have Carfagna's as our caterer. The food is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. During our tasting, I was so excited about the food, we came back a week later for a meal! The staff make sure to get the bride and groom a plate to make sure they eat on their wedding day as well. They are also extremely affordable. The only issue we had is they ran out of white whine during our cocktail hour, when we paid price per head for unlimited wine & beer - so not sure what happened there. Either way, this place was great, and everyone seriously LOVED their food!!

The food was fantastic, just as I remember it from our tasting! All our guests went on and on about how great it was! Delivery and set up were prompt. I didn't interact personally with the delivery team, but my serving staff said they were very professional.

I used Carfagna's for my wedding. The food was amazing, the dinner service was great, and I was pleased during my wedding and the interactions up until the wedding day. However I was told by guests the catering staff was eating my food when they though no one was watching, I over paid because I literally had so much left over there was no place to put any of it. Then at the end of my wedding night as I was walking out to my after party I was notified by the Catering manager that tip was not included in the service, and I felt guilted into paying an extra 380.00 dollars for tip. Well the manager was very quick to run my card for the tip, when the card did not go through (I had changed cards in between when I had previous paid him in full months before) he proceeded to email me two times while I was on my honeymoon asking for his tip. I felt taken advantage of. The food was great in true carfagna's fashion, however my husband and I were upset with the service.

We originally went to Carfagna's just for alcohol service for our reception. However, John was so helpful and sincere about making sure everything was perfect, that I looked into their catering. We ended up going with 3 food stations (pasta, carving, salad/soup) to make it a more casual meal with something for everyone. Every response from John has been quick and thorough and he has adapted the contract to fit the changing needs of our wedding. At this point everything has been spectacular, and I will update after the wedding about the service. At this point, I would highly recommend Carfagna's to anyone looking for an affordable, delicious catering service, and if I ever had an event needing catering again, I would look to them first. Update: The food was fantastic! Everyone enjoyed it and was able to find something to eat. I'm so glad that we went with Carfagna's for our catering and our bar service!

Very dependable and delicious - they even delivered to Marysville and were so nice. Excellent choice!
