We got married a year ago during the pandemic on 7/11/20. Hiring Drew and Carlisle Films last minute was the best decision we made for our wedding. Working with Drew and his team was excellent! The first time I reached out to Drew it was around 630pm. We had scheduled a 15-20 minute call, but we ended up talking for an hour and 15 minutes. He answered all my dumb questions (I had never worked with a videographer) and made me feel so comfortable with everything. He never pressured me to purchase the more expensive options. The day of the wedding, Drew's team was great to work with and very professional. They brought a drone camera. They worked well with our photographer and never got in the way. The final product was amazing! Our pastor said it was the best video he had ever seen, and he has done over 50 weddings! I highly recommend Drew and his team!

We had a wonderful experience working with Drew and his team at Carlisle Films! Drew is incredibly easy to work with. He’s very friendly, a clear communicator, easy to reach via phone/email, and truly cares about the happiness and wellbeing of his clients. When we had our initial phone conversation with him, he explained his typical process very clearly, answering all of our questions. In the months leading up to our wedding, he reached out to check in and clarify any details needed to ensure that we got all of the shots we wanted. When COVID19 hit, Drew was one of the first vendors to reach out to us to check in and ask what he could do to help. And when we needed to change our venue and date, his team easily adjusted. On the day of our wedding, Drew’s team was extremely friendly and did an excellent job staying “in the background” and letting things unfold naturally, while still being there to capture all of the details. There were several times during which something unexpected happened on the side and I thought “oh! I wonder if the videographers caught that?” And when I turned around they were right there behind us filming it all! We couldn’t be happier with their process— throughout pre-wedding planning to the execution on our wedding day. Not only was their process and communication great before and during the wedding, but the films we got back in the end were flawless. They were worth every penny spent and are something will cherish forever. I can’t recommend Drew and his team enough! If you’re considering booking Carlisle Films, do it!! You won’t regret it!

Drew is literally the best! My husband and I cannot stop watching our wedding highlight and we love our wedding video as well! I know that we will enjoy watching it for many many years! His team did a great job at staying behind the scenes and was so accommodative with all of the Covid stuff going on, even helped us to do a Facebook livestream from my phone for guests that couldn't make it. Most people are hesitant about spending the extra money on a videographer, but it is so worth it! Drew and his team got more footage than I could have imagined - and being able to see my whole wedding ceremony was so incredible! We cannot express enough how amazing our experience was with Carlisle Films! We had 2 videographers come for our wedding and they completely captured our full day so beautifully (from the girls & guys getting ready in the morning, all the way through to the dancing at the end of the night). It was raining and in their contract if it rains, they could not use the drone. The team found a way when it stopped briefly to pull out the drone, which meant a lot to us, and that was just one of the nice gestures they did throughout the entire day and made for some really cool footage! They had 4 cameras filming all of the first dances, speeches, cake cutting, etc. so it makes for a really amazing wedding video that we are so in love with and will cherish forever. Drew is amazing at what he does and I can promise you, the videos are worth the wait! Drew was very responsive and went above and beyond!! I asked for a few different break out videos of the groomsmen surprise dance, father daughter dance, etc. and he did it with no problem! I would hire them again in a heartbeat!! The best purchase we made towards our wedding hands down! I was nervous to get a videographer because some can seem forced or cheesy. Let me tell you Drew and his team were so professional and never got in the way of the day. They perfectly captured the feeling and love surrounding the day. Don't get me wrong I love my photos but the video is hands down my favorite thing. It allows you to relive the day in a completely different way. I got married September 20th, 2019. After looking through many videographers on wedding wire, and the knot, I chose to contact Carlisle Films and a few others. I chose to go with Carlisle Films because he was quick to respond, and I really liked his previous work from other weddings. The videos he sent for me to review were amazing! After seeing what great work they did, I decided to book them. I'm really glad I chose Carlisle Films! My husband and I were most impressed with Carlisle Films out of ALL our vendors for our wedding. They were very professional! They even brought in a drone to get an aerial view of our venue! I LOVE our wedding videos and have watched our wedding teaser SO many times. I have had so many compliments from my family and friends on what a great job they did. I would HIGHLY recommend them to any soon to be bride and groom.

Where to begin?! We have so many great things to say about Carlisle Films! To start things off, they have great communication and are extremely professional. We worked with Drew throughout the planning process. He was so friendly and made us felt like he really cared about our wedding. He was willing to work within our budget and went out of his way to customize our package to exactly what he wanted. Another factor that made a huge impact on our decision to work with Carlisle Films was their willingness to travel without an added fee. We decided to add an additional hour of coverage at last minute and they were super accommodating. We had an absolutely amazing videographer on our wedding day (shout out to Ian)! Ian was easy to work with, made us feel comfortable, and he was always at the right place at the right time. The turnaround time on our 4 minute highlight video was SO QUICK and the quality is out of this world. The music choice is perfect, the audio is great, and it all flows so well. We honestly could not have asked for a better videographer. We’d recommend Drew, Ian, and Carlisle Films again and again!

Carlisle films did an incredible job capturing our wedding! We are so thankful they were a part of our day. One of my favorite things about Carlise Films was they not only did he provide a 30-second cut, 60-second cut, and a highlight reel, we also got a 75 MINUTE full-length video of the day. It was so wonderful to watch so many of the moments we had already forgotten about since there was so much going on our wedding day. The videographer was the last thing we decided to add on for our wedding, and I am SO glad we did. We will treasure these videos for the rest of our lives.

The best ever! What EXCITEMENT it was to see our one-minute highlight video one day after the wedding. Drew customized our package to meet our needs/wants and the outcome of the videos were fabulous. The drone shots of the wedding and around Clemson were just amazing. We've watched the video 1,000 times and can't wait to watch it 1,000 times more. Drew and his team at Carisle Films did an outstanding job shooting my wife and I’s wedding. From beginning to end, Drew was very responsive and flexible with our vision. The day of he was very respectful to our space and our guests and did an amazing job at capturing all the important moments at ease. Not to mention his camera work is phenomenal, some of the most cinematic wedding videography I’ve ever seen. We felt like our wedding day was a movie! He even made the trip all way from North Carolina to snowy Vermont in the middle of the winter! And that is not easy! We cannot thank Carisle Films enough for making such an amazing video. Carlisle Films did an amazing job with our wedding videos, and went above and beyond on the day of our wedding. We did our first look downtown where parking was tricky, and coordinating with them was no issue at all. We have gotten so many compliments on our wedding video and the quality was outstanding. Drew also Kindly put together a small video of our dog after she passed away shortly after out wedding. Highly recommend them!

Our entire experience with Carlisle Films was excellent. They were so easy to book and work with. I didn't have to work to make sure they would be there at the appropriate time/place. They just were. They also did a great job of effortlessly placing themselves in the right places at the right times during our entire day....we didn't even notice they were there (in the best possible way!). I tell all my engaged or about to be engaged friends that a beautiful and high quality wedding film (and photos) should be in the top 5 things to budget for in your wedding....and that is exactly what Drew and his team gave us. They also incorporated some of our favorite songs into our film, which shows that they really do care about making a film their couples will love to watch over and over. We already have decided that we are going to watch our film every year on anniversary to re-live our very best day. To say Carlisle Videography is great is an understatement- THEY ARE STUPENDOUS! They came to Avalon, New Jersey to shoot our wedding and we are so lucky they did! Drew and Ashley are both so talented, professional, timely, and did I say talented!?? We had a surprise guest sing at our wedding and Carlisle executed the video perfectly. (so much it went viral!!) In all seriousness, they captured our big day and it was everything we could have dreamed of and more. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My biggest piece of advice to anyone planning a wedding. GET A VIDEOGRAPHER. It’s considered a “luxury” wedding item. But this needs to be on the list right next to the rings and the dress. I cannot even put a price on this. If it’s out of your budget, take out a small loan. Not kidding. And I am NOT someone who encourages spending money you don’t have or who encourages living in debt, I have never carried a credit card bill, I am insanely and proudly responsible with money. But THIS, I would’ve moved the moon and the stars to have. You can alway make more money; you cannot go back and get a wedding video. If you are getting married- TRUST ME and MAKE THIS HAPPEN. You WILL REGRET IT. (Its the #1 things brides say they regret.) If I had to pick between pictures and this video, I would choose the video all day. First- you surprisingly don’t remember a lot of things that happen on your wedding day. Not because you’re drunk lol but because SO much is going on and you’re basically just walking emotion all day. Secondly- think about being able to watch this when your 80. Think about your kids and grandkids being to watch. Imagine if you could go back and watch your parents getting married. I would pay anything to see that. GET A VIDEOGRAPHER. I recommend getting a highlight reel AND a feature film that covers everything- the ceremony in its entirety, all speeches, and everything in between. And you should use Carlisle 💁🏼‍♀️ because he’s so amazing and he worked with me so so well. I asked for A LOT of things. He stands out as my #1 vendor I was most impressed with in every single step. I got a 7 minute highlight reel and a 2 hour feature film. Again, can’t put a price on this. Outside of the people in my life, this video is my most valued item on this earth. This incredible day being captured like this....just nothing better! 2 years later, I can’t even put into words how happy I am that I will always have this. 🙌🏼💛

Our video turned out INCREDIBLE!!! Drew did truly fantastic work - he was able to capture every aspect of the wedding without ever seeming or feeling intrusive. As soon as my husband saw how long the full video (it's over an hour long!!) was he was like, "Dang! No wonder it took so long he edited like 12 hours of footage!" because he filmed multiple angles for every aspect of the night and even lined the reception music up perfectly synched in the video. But seriously, we loved having them document our big day. This is such a special keepsake and I can't wait to make it part of our anniversary every year to watch it all over again. I cherish these in a way I'll never be able to explain.

It was a great joy to work with Drew Carlisle Videography! I came across their website during my initial search for wedding vendors, and was immediately impressed with their wedding videography. One thing I was very interested in was the drone - and they are one of the few that use one! The shots they were able to get of Greenville, SC were so amazing, and brought back so many memories of our wedding day. They collected shots of the period of time between getting ready and the very end of the night, and edited the footage perfectly into a fun 4-minute video, and then also provided us with a longer version too! It continues to be a cherished memory of our wedding day that my husband and I can watch anytime :). We decided late to add videography, so we had to scramble in the budget to cover it. After a few disaster phone calls with other vendors, we were so relieved to find Carlisle. We instantly felt at ease and had no qualms leading up to the big day. They showed up right on time and covered everything. After that, it took longer than I thought it would to get our final videos (although we never asked beforehand), but when we did it didn't matter anymore because the videos were beautiful. They were the most perfect way to capture the memories of our big day. Thank you guys!

I hate it has taken me so long to review these guys! Let me just tell you (from a Bride's perspective) I know how overwhelmingly difficult it can be to entrust someone you've never met to capture feelings, emotions, style etc. on a day that's up there as one of the most special days of our lives. Videography was at the top of my list of important vendors. Photography is amazing, but leaves gaps throughout the day of memories that I knew I would long to go back and revisit. Watching our wedding video still brings tears to my eyes 8 months later. Daniel and I were married in August of 2017, at Saratoga Springs. I truly could not have been happier with how wonderful Carlisle videography was to work with. Honestly, you forget they are even there-which is perfect. They capture REAL, RAW, heartfelt moments that take you right back. I can't ooze enough about how pleased I am with everything from the value, punctuality, talent and timely manner I received the finish product in! DREW IS AWESOME. I was truly a difficult client. Videography was the most important vendor for me. I love watching home videos years later and this was just really something I wanted to be perfect and well captured. I searched for videographers for 2 months, watching hundreds (I’m not kidding) of videos trying to decide who to choose without going over $4000 for everything I wanted. I was being PICKY. I found Carlisle and started e-mailing him about what I liked and what I didn’t. I am big on slow-motion! I sent him out-of-town videographers work and asked if he could incorporate some of their style into my video along with his style. Not only were his responses ALWAYS super fast, but he was always overly willing to do what I asked. He was thorough in understanding my vision. I probably e-mailed him back and forth 10 times before I decided to go with him. I imagine he was probably really annoyed with my lengthy e-mails but he never showed it. He was always very accommodating. Drew(Carlisle) understands great customer service and bridal satisfaction ;) but he is also amazing in his work. He didn’t shoot my video, but two very nice, fun guys did. And my wedding was during Hurricane Matthew and we were all running around like chickens with out heads cut off in the rain but Carlisle’s guys (feel bad for not remembering their names) stayed relaxed and helped me relax. Carlisle did the editing. The videos were perfect; the highlight film and the 2 hour main feature. This was the best money I’ve ever spent. Honestly, this video is priceless. My husband bitched about it at first and now he says, “I’m so glad we did that.” We sat on the couch and laughed and cried watching everything back. I cried really hard when it was over because even after 2 hours, I just hadn’t had enough. So we watched it again. I watch pieces of it almost every day. Biggest regret brides have is not getting a videographer. Biggest regret you'll have is not getting Carlisle to do your videography.

Our wedding was on the front lawn of the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC, and hiring Carlisle Videography was one of the smartest things we did for the event!! The work they did for us was truly inspiring and emotional. Our wedding had so many big and intimate moments, ranging from me serenading the groom to aerial acrobats to Indian dancers to fireworks, but they perfectly executed their amazing skills and technologically advanced equipment to capture all of it. The final product was incredible, mostly because these guys are artistic geniuses. We adore our wedding highlight video, which we end up watching a lot with friends, families, even people we just met because they did such an incredible job! And the full-length video has been so wonderful for our families and for us to enjoy. You have to have a videographer, because while photos are nice and definitely necessary, video allows you to truly relive once-in-a-lifetime moments. If you are having a huge wedding or an intimate one, do yourself a favor and hire Carlisle Videography. It will probably be the one of the best investments of your wedding too!!

After looking for a great videographer for quite a while, I asked a close friend about her (Richmond, VA) wedding videographer. I should have skipped looking through the Raleigh/Durham NC area videographers and gone straight to this Charlotte, NC couple! They will travel and it is definitely worth it! Drew and Ashley were so easy to work with and their packages included the FULL wedding video, including the full ceremony, AND a trailer, a luxury compared to what other videographers offered. We absolutely love our trailer and our wedding video - it perfectly captured the feeling of our day. They were amazing to work with and did not feel intrusive to our wedding party or guests, but simply blended into the scenery. Drew also got breathtaking aerial shots of our wedding ceremony location (the Duke Chapel) - which my dad absolutely RAVED about. Everyone who attended the wedding has loved our 4 minute trailer and it was absolutely the perfect vehicle for friends who missed the wedding to experience it for themselves. Also - Drew got me this video SO quickly, it was shocking! Great videographers!

Drew Carlisle is amazingly talented. We hired him based on his previous wedding videos alone. Not only is he talented but he was great to work with. He responds to emails in a timely matter and answers any questions you may have. We are extremely thankful we did a wedding video! There is nothing like going back and being able to watch our special day. Drew also puts together 3-4 minute wedding trailers. Ours was AMAZING!!!! He captured the day perfectly. In person, Drew is extremely nice. His wife came with to help shoot the wedding. She spent the day with me and all of the girls. We didn't even know she was there! We never once noticed them during our ceremony and reception. I have seen weddings where the videographer got in the way and blocked people's view. Drew never did this. Working with Drew and his partner was one of the right choices I made for our wedding. We never met before wedding until that day. Even that day we didn't talk much. I thought it was going to be "just okay", but it blew our mind! The trailer was so damn cool! They used that badass drone to record outside of our hotel and the wedding venue which I didn't even know they did that!! Then the movie version was very touching. Of course the wedding was touching already but without them putting it together, it would just be a boring documentary. We appreciate Drew and his crew. We love the final products!

Drew and this team did an amazing job the day of our wedding and after the wedding putting together our wedding trailer and video!! My husband and I could not be more happy with the outcome. It really was so special to see everything (because being the bride - I missed some of the action and the adorable flower girl and ring bearer entrances to the ceremony). We also loved the fact that we have the whole video (111 minutes or so) AND a less than 5 minute trailer that has the special parts of our day summarized. We are so pleased and so happy with the videos. The song in the highlight video is so nice, and all of the footage is so special. This was definitely, by far the best investment we made in our wedding day! Drew and Ashley were absolutely amazing to work with. Drew and Ashley are wonderful wedding videographers! I know this because Drew is my brother and I have watched his business grow tremendously over the past few years. Drew has always had an entrepreneurial spirit and creative eye for all things art. I had the privilege this summer to have Drew and his assistant film my wedding at the Lake Lure Inn and Spa in Lake Lure, NC. Drew and his team were super efficient and made me feel comfortable during our interviews and pre-ceremony shots. There were many cameras set up during the ceremony - some I didn't even notice. So he was able to discretely film and get multiple angles of the event. Now when I watch the DVD I'm able to remember it even better than when I was there! The biggest hit at our reception was the slow motion video booth!! Drew's assistant was even able to show us each clip we made right after we excitedly threw confetti, danced, or used one of the many many props. People still talk about how awesome it was. Definitely consider Carlisle Videography for your wedding!!

I will be forever grateful to Drew Carlisle and his wife for the incredible videography job they did for me and my husband. Very early on I booked Carlisle Videography, more than 1 year prior to my wedding date, because I was adamant on 1) booking a great videographer, and 2) booking someone for my date that I though would be popular. Drew responded quickly to any emails and requests, and really made me feel like everything was in secure hands. I barely even noticed they were there the day of. Which was great! Except I did feel kinda bad I never got to chat with them :) The finished product came less than a month after our wedding and everyone watched it immediately.
