ided a shot list as well as the other information she asked of us. It has been over 90-days since our wedding and we have yet to see a single image: no previews, no final products, no images. We have made repeated attempts to resolve this issue with Carly but have not been able to do so. Carly answered one, maybe two, emails but has failed to live up to the promises made within her responses. We have provided a Google Drive, with nearly a terabyte of available space, for her to upload the images but she has not uploaded any. Part of what we paid for is post-production services: editing photos to improve them. We have offered to do the post-production ourselves but have not had a response to that offer. As an avid, though not professional, photographer myself I have the necessary software to perform the post-production work (despite having paid her to do so). While I do not want to perform work I have already paid someone else to do, I would do so to get our images. We custom designed “Thank You” cards to include photos of us with the wedding guest: we have been unable to send those cards as we do not have the photos. We had planned to give our mothers framed photos for their birthdays (both this month): we have already missed those dates. We understand that it is a busy time of year for wedding photographers, but she agreed to do the work and she accepted payment for that work. It is time for her to deliver. We were required to pay for her work in advance so our only financial leverage would be litigation. We do not want to remember our wedding with that giant asterisk (*). We cannot advise you on whether to hire Carly. We can only provide you with the information needed to make an informed decision. All we can say is had we read her reviews we may have gone a different direction. Good luck with your big day!

excuse after excuse. For my engagement shoot photos, I had to reach out to her multiple times and she told me she was in the middle of a move, which is completely understandable so I gave her the benefit of the doubt. However, when she gave me the same excuse when I asked for a timeline for wedding photos to be delivered, I got a little suspicious. I first reached out to her a month after our wedding on April 15th, just to get a general timeline of when we would be getting our photos. And she gave me the date of April 29th and she assured me I would even get them before. I reached back out May 5th, and she then told me I would get them that week. After not receiving anything, I reached out again on May 14th hoping for updates, and did not get any response from her. So I reached out to her again on May 18th, letting her know that I needed the photos as soon as possible because I have a painter that is also waiting to receive a photo so that she can create a painting for us. She responded that same day saying she was going to START working on the photos. Which is ridiculous because she was supposed to have gotten them to me WEEKS ago. I then asked her for better communication and an exact date/time when I would receive my photos and she never responded. I have yet to hear back from her. I’ve tried calling and she won’t answer and she won’t respond to my text messages either. The package that my husband and I purchased from her included a photo book and some prints as well. We are very frustrated because we have no idea when we will get any of these items including our photos. I think that Carly could definitely work on her time management and her communication. However if you’re thinking of hiring her for any big event, I would recommend that you look for someone else who is more reliable.

e want to be printed over two months ago (in December) - NO photos yet. When we asked about our wedding video she said she was working with someone else (which wasn't communicated with us in the beginning.) and it was going to be ready the same day - NO video yet. So far, we have tried to reach out to her regarding the updates multiple times but all we get is silence. This really is disappointing and frustrating. If you will go with her despite this review, I strongly recommend not to make full payment as she requests before the wedding. Maybe that would give her some motivation.

c into the pictures. Right away, she came up with clear and organized schedule to capture the best moments of our special day. She even agreed to shoot our rehearsal dinner the night beforehand which was completely awesome! On the day itself, she was incredible, being equal parts helpful, friendly, and funny. She did such a great job communicating with the bridal party, the family, and the other vendors keeping everything timely and running smoothly as she single-handedly photographed the whole wedding. Truly top marks and would highly recommend!

ents. Our reception (also outside) was much darker than anticipated but Carly is very talented and the photos turned out really great. She also was super friendly and made us and our guests feel at ease, including almost playing the role of wedding coordinator by helping us move from table to table to take pictures. We were grateful to have her there and very glad that she was our photographer!
