My dress shopping was a dream. They don’t just try to sell you something or lie to you about what looks good. They truly take their time and really take care of you. My dress was everything to me!

10/10 recommend Carolina Bridal World! I went in and tried on probably 10 dresses even though I knew #2 was the one I would pick. They were so patient with me and let me try on all I wanted to make sure I had the right pick! My dress came in so quickly and the shop steamed it right before my wedding for me!

I travel for work and had to wedding dress shop solo. I was so overwhelmed. The stylist stayed with me the whole time, there was no pressure and she let me try on whichever dresses I wanted. I found my dress and felt beautiful. They were able to get my dress within 2 weeks. They have the biggest selection and reasonable pricing. So happy with my purchase and Carolina Bridal World. Thank you!!

CBW was great, but no matter what you do, DO NOT get Darlene Morgan to alter your gown. She waited until the last minute to alter mine, and had it ready the day before I was scheduled to leave. Unfortunately she pinned it badly the first time, and had to re-hem it, so I had to delay my trip to my wedding location so she could redo it. The dress was horribly altered as well. She sewed in bra cups such that that the dress would not lay flat on my chest, the hem fell out after the ceremony, and the bustle did not stay. She also sewed the waist in too much (claiming that most brides like to lose weight...sorry I didn't?) so it pinched. CBW should remove her from their list of recommended seamstresses because she was truly awful.

I had the best experience getting my wedding dress at Carolina Bridal World. I had looked at several stores before coming to Carolina Bridal World and nothing had really wowed me – and worse, a lot of dresses were out of my price range and consultants tried to talk me into spending more money. I finally found the perfect dress at Carolina Bridal World and even better, it was within my price range! The service at Carolina Bridal World was also better than anywhere else I visited. Camdyn was so friendly, answered all my questions and really understood the vision of what I was looking for. She was just great! The store itself was also so nice, so spacious and clean. The selection was amazing – definitely the best store in the triad area if you are looking for a wide selection. Some of the designers they carry even let you customize your dress, so I was able to make a few slight changes and create my dream dress that no one else has ever had. So special! Also, there were photo areas to take pictures once you found the dress, which we took full advantage of. Overall, I had a great experience at Carolina Bridal World and would recommend this store to any of my family or friends looking for a wedding dress, a bridesmaid dress or a mother of the bride dress.

I purchased my reception dress from the Smithfield location. Bridal Party Attire were rented and purchased from the Burlington location. Tina the owner I believe was VERY helpful, honest and friendly during my entire wedding planning. My family members just LOVED her when they went into the store. Prices are also reasonable and affordable.

Carolina Bridal World had so many great options that I cancelled all appointments at other dress shops within 15 minutes of arriving! All staff were professional, friendly, and so helpful when it came time to narrow down my dress choices. My consultant listened to me with care and remained mindful of my price range when pulling dresses for me to try on. When we found that the dress I ultimately chose was not available in-store, the staff helped me complete a custom-order that shipped directly to my home even faster than I had anticipated. The entire process was easy and fun from beginning to end, and I enjoyed a great, no-pressure experience. I recommend all brides check out Carolina Bridal World for a wide range of styles, colors, and designers for every budget!

I made an appointment to come to Carolina Bridal World (Burlington) by myself on a weekday morning, after being a bit overwhelmed by wedding dress shopping with my bridesmaids at another shop. Ultimately, Carolina Bridal World fit my style much more-- I was allowed to look around and pick dresses to try on off of the large racks, which I preferred over having someone pick them out for me, because it let me see a wider variety quickly and I wasn't quite sure what I was looking for. I think I tried on 10 dresses in half an hour (while my other experience had been about 4 in an hour). The woman helping me was patient and always helpful, suggesting other options and saying what she liked about each dress, while never being pushy (and never making me feel weird for being there by myself). There were two dresses I really liked (I tried them both on multiple times after coming down to two), I left and slept on it, and then I called back the next day and paid for the dress I liked over the phone. Dress came in even faster than estimated, pickup was a bit hectic, but I did go on a Saturday afternoon. All and all, if you want to be able to look through all your options and try a bunch of dresses, highly recommend Carolina Bridal World.

I absolutely loved shopping at Carolina Bridal World for my dress. They have so many options for all different budgets and the consultants were all really amazing. I am very indecisive but the ladies at CBW were patient and extremely helpful in guiding me to finding my perfect dress. On my wedding day, I received lots of compliments on my dress!

I LOVED Carolina Bridal World! I had been dress shopping previously but my experience here was the best by far! The customer service and support was amazing. My favorite part of the appointment was being able to browse hundreds of dresses rather than the dresses being brought to me. Had an appointment to try on bridesmaid dresses. It was terrible! First off, there was not a big selection of dresses to choose from. We had one rack of dresses to choose from and all the dresses were very similar. The biggest issue for me was my bridesmaids had a very hard time finding dresses they could try on because all the sizes were on the small side. They don’t have dresses that come in a variety of sizes for girls to try on which doesn’t make sense to me. Not everyone is a stick figure. I was extremely disappointed and I felt terrible for my bridesmaids because they couldn’t fit into the dresses. We ended up driving over to David’s Bridal where we purchased our dresses and my girls were able to try on EVERY style dress I pulled because they had a variety of sizes in each style dress.

Absolutely a perfect visit last fall had to buy a dress and no time to order! I got this amazing gown and it was perfect. They have GREAT selection!

Absolutely shameful disregard for the safety of its patrons. Does nothing to enforce the state mandates regarding masks and social distancing. I would not recommend purchasing anything from this establishment.

The Carolina Bridal team was so easy to work with and helpful! My wedding dress was extremely gorgeous and came in with plenty of time for alternations! They even recommended me to a seamstress in which I cannot write more compliments about (Perfect Fit Tailoring)!! They have a wide variety of selections of beautiful downs, veils, accessories, and even bridal party dresses. Highly recommend them for your wedding needs!

I purchased my wedding dress from Carolina Bridal World’s Burlington, NC location and had a very pleasant experience. The woman who helped me try on dresses was very helpful and would go out of her way to locate other dresses to try that were similar to ones that I liked. The price of my dress was reasonable and they were not pushy about getting it the day of or using additional services (they have seamstresses that are independent but work within the building if that is something you want, but since I live in Raleigh, I wanted something closer to home). They also steamed my dress for free a few weeks before my wedding which was a huge time and cost saver. I was very happy with my experience and LOVE my dress.

My bridal consultant, Amy, picked out THE dress for me. It wasn’t one of my picks but I’m so glad that I was open to her picks! She did a great job pairing my dress with my veil! I tried on about four dresses before trying on my dress. Much easier than what I had planned lol. Love the consultants at Carolina Bridal World. Now go find your dress brides!

I cannot thank Carolina Bridal World (Burlington location) enough for helping me find my dress! Tina was amazing. We had visited to look for dresses on a Thursday, had found some beautiful dresses. I had an appointment at another place on Friday that went horribly (Basically, I found THE dress, was $1000 over budget and the prices were never on the dresses, consultants didn't know prices, were very unattentive...I left in tears). We went back on Saturday, told them what happened and we had 3 consultants helping us find a dress that competed with the way over budget dress! They were very busy that day, it was just my mom and I, and they made me feel like the only bride there! Despite being on the register that day, Tina stepped away many times to make sure we were being taken care of, still pulling dresses for me, after working with her at our last try on! They were so attentive, listened to everything I liked and disliked about each dress, and my top 3 dresses ended up ones that they pulled for me to try on! Abby recommended trying on a dress I had originally said I didn't want to try on and as soon as I put it on, I knew it was the one! We were convinced no dress was going to compare, and they more than rose to the occasion. I am beyond thrilled with my dress and think it may be more perfect than the previous one. I cannot recommend this team highly enough!!!!

I had an amazing experience at Carolina Bridal World! I want there with the intention of just trying on a lot of dresses to see what I liked and didn’t expect a high end experience because they don’t take appointments, but I ended up with an amazing consultant who was very attentive and patient and listened as I explained what I liked and didn’t like about each dress and offered new ideas. Just as I was about to walk out of the salon with a catalog so I could look at custom making a dress, my consultant said let me show you one more that I just remembered and it ended up being exactly what I had in my mind! Excellent staff and beautiful store!

Shopping for dresses can be an exhausting and frustrating process, but I had SUCH a great experience at Carolina Bridal World! Everyone was so attentive, patient and really listened to what I did (and DIDN'T) like in order to help me find my perfect dress!

The staff here was spectacular! I not only found my perfect dress at the Burlington location but also my vail. They measured me in the store and were able to order my dress to my specifications (partial credit to the designer for this option as well) so that I could wear the heels I wanted to wear as well as not dish out hundreds of dollars for alterations. I will be sending both of my sisters here when they start looking for their wedding dresses!

I went shopping for my dress at Carolina Bridal World on a Saturday morning—which is one of the busiest times to go. But my party of five was helped immediately, quickly shown around, and given a mirror/couch. They don’t mind if you look through the racks yourself. I tried on five dresses and chose the second one. It was well under the budget that my mom had allocated. The staff was so friendly. Don’t go to a big chain store… go to Carolina Bridal World and get your dress and your southern hospitality all in one place!

I loved shopping at Carolina Bridal World for my wedding dress! They had all of the designers I was interested in and a nice range of prices as well. Maegan was an absolutely wonderful help during the whole process, which included trying on almost 20 dresses. She was so patient and made sure that I felt comfortable with the choice I was making! Would definitely recommend a trip to this store if you're getting married in NC.

Carolina Bridal was the first and only place I looked for dresses. They had a ton to choose from. I showed my attendant a couple pictures and she pulled about 5 dresses for me to start with. My dream dress was in that first selection! It fit me like a glove and was everything I never even knew I wanted! My only qualm is the veil I bought there was slightly overpriced.

This place was wonderful finding my dream dress! My mom had just gotten out of being in the hospital and was not able to come dress shopping with me. I called ahead of coming and asked if we could make any special arrangements to make it like my mom was there, and they went out of their way to make me feel special and have my mom involved from a distance. They were great to work with, and I LOVED my dress! I would definitely recommend checking this place out. if you are looking for a beautiful dress, in a boutique atmosphere (it's a large store, but you get personalize assistance) and at a decent price, this is the place to go!

I Said Yes to the Dress at Carolina Bridal World!!! I had no idea I would find my dress so close to home. I am a picky non traditional bride to be. I was afraid that I would have to have a dress custom made, or catch a flight to find it! This was the second bridal shop I went to with my sister.(FYI I had been to Hampton VA already, and went to Raleigh and Virginia Beach after this app) Sydney was my consultant and she greeted us as soon as we walked in the door. She pulled gowns based on what I said I liked, and let myself and my sister pick gowns as well. The gown I ended up getting actually found me lol Although I loved it, I felt that I needed to keep my appointments at 2 other bridal shops just to confirm that this was "the one". Sydney did not pressure me and gave me all of her contact info so that she would be sure to be there whenever I came back. Well I did come back and Sydneymade sure that she was available. She made me feel very special when I finally said yes!! So to all you brides out there.....Carolina Bridal World has a large inventory of gowns in a all sizes, great prices, big dressing rooms, and everyone was very friendly and bubbly. I would recommend Carolina Bridal World to any brides looking for a gown!

I had the BEST experience this weekend at Carolina Bridal World. Sarah was AMAZING and knew exactly what to pull and how to help. Ithe entire staff was excited to be there and very friendly. I found my dream dress and could not be more happy with my experience! The process was easy and fun! I can’t wait to pick up my dress!!

I visited both locations for Carolina Bridal World. They were so easy to work with, very helpful and I loved the fact that I didn't feel pressured to buy anything while I was there. The Smithfield location is where I purchased my veil and dress. Everything was reasonably priced and came in in a timely manner. I could not have been more please with the variety of dresses they had and how well the store seemed to be run.

CBW in Smithfield was the best possible place for me to shop for my wedding gown! They are relaxed, patient, and helpful. The dress selection was fantastic and I found the perfect dress at the right price! Thank you, CBW!

Carolina Bridal World in Smithfield, NC was absolutely AMAZING. They did such a fantastic job with helping me find my perfect wedding dress!! I would recommend this location to everyone. Right when I walked in, I was greeted by Abby. She asked me what style I was interested in and I showed her some pictures I had saved of what I thought was my "ideal" wedding dress. She went and pulled two dresses off the rack and gave me the opportunity to go pull a couple that I saw, which was actually pretty fun to do. We started off this journey with four dresses in my dressing room. I then tried on a fifth dress which was a big and poofy princess dress just for the satisfaction of my Maid of Honor. We noticed that we actually loved the neckline of said princess dress so Abby went and pulled a dress that had that neckline along with all of the other characteristics I loved about the first dresses that we had pulled. I tried on a total of 6 dresses and I went with that very last dress. She figured out my style during my time there by paying attention to the things I liked and disliked about the other dresses I tried on and went and found the perfect dress for me! I am so thankful we had the blessing of working with Abby to find my dress. My experience was a 10/10 and will be a memory I treasure forever. I am a very indecisive woman and Abby still managed to help me find my dress with ease and no stress whatsoever. Thank you so much Carolina Bridal World for being so fabulous. Every woman working in that facility was so polite, friendly, and just wonderful!! Go there to find your perfect dress, you will forever be thankful.

Run, run as fast as you can! This place is ridiculous and the customer service is VERY poor! We traveled to Smithfield to find a particular dress that they had at this location. From the time we walked in the door, we were not greeted and after asking for help, the first girl had a major attitude. I wish I knew her name, she was the only pregnant one. Didn't even want to look at us, much less speak to us. She pretty much pointed to the dress rack and the fitting rooms and walked off! So we stopped another girl who pretty much just gave us clips so we clipped each others dresses up instead of the workers helping. We were having an awesome day until we got there. It was a small group of us, the bride and two bridesmaids. We came to find a certain dress and to pay for it in full. Instead, we were treated as if we were less than worthy to be in Carolina Bridal World. When we went to the counter to ask for our measurements, it took like 3 different people to figure that out. Afterwards, we were left standing at the counter for like 30 minutes as two girls wouldn't even look at us, as if we were not standing there right in front of them. At some point, a lady at the counter (we later found out her name is Connie, the owner) did a hand gesture for one of the girls to help us. So the girl said one thing, wrote one thing and turned her face again as if she didn't want to help us. So we asked for management and we found out one of the ladies at the counter was the owner-Connie. So we told Connie that we did not like the treatment we were receiving. Connie pretty much seemed as if she was mad that we had a complaint and made an excuse and said we were pretty much being ignored all day because they were busy! That's not an excuse and it was only my group and one other customer up at the counter and like 6 or 7 workers in the store that appeared to be doing nothing really. Connie then asked the guest that came up behind us to come up to her register to check out, once again like we had not been standing there for like 30 mins or so trying to buy our dresses. Well, when we realized that the owner was just as bad as the unprofessional staff, we decided to take our money to a bridal shop that would appreciate our business. We were going to pay for 3 dresses in full, yet one girl kept speaking to us about a payment plan after we told her we were going to pay for all of the dresses in full!!! Once again, I guess we looked as if we couldn't pay for the dresses. I really felt like race played a factor in the way we were treated. We came in happy and smiling and we were treated as if we didn't belong there. It's really sad that people still treat people differently according to race. Some of the merchandise did not look that clean. For example the merchandise that was white had that look, like it needed to be washed because it's been hanging up too long or something. Like it was getting a brown tint to it. We seen that back by the fitting rooms. If I could rate this place a zero I would. A one is too nice. I will NEVER go back and I will make sure none of my friends and family go there either! If you are looking for a great, friendly experience, DON'T go to this store!

I honestly cannot say enough about CBW. I visited their new Burlington, NC location and was honestly blown away by their selection and their prices. I was always warned not to go to a place that doesn't require appointments but this place proved me so wrong. They had the BEST customer service that I have ever experienced at any of the 5 salons in the RTP area that I went to. They made my family and I feel so comfortable. Not only did I get my dress from them, but my bridesmaids dresses, and the tuxedo rentals. Love this place. Thank you CBW!

My dress was ordered through Carolina Bridal World in Smithfield. I ordered an Allure dress in February. I am 5'2" and was planning on wearing flats for the wedding as my husband is 5'6". Since the dress I ordered was all lace they told me to special order it to my height as it'd be cheaper to do that than to hem lace. I did and my dress did not make it to me until October so make sure you plan accordingly if you are going to do that. But the good thing about that was they actually special ordered it to ALL of my sizes and the dress fit PERFECTLY without alterations and was only $150 extra when I purchased the dress. Our guests could not stop raving about the beautiful that dress was.

We stopped in hoping to find some bridesmaid dresses in a particular color. Although they didn't have any in that color, the young lady who immediately came to our assistance was extremely helpful and polite. She even looked in the back and through other designers to try to help us out, and even pulled out the swatches. Although they did not have what I was looking for, I was impressed with the quality of customer service and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They seemed to have a great variety of dresses and bridesmaid dresses, too.

The ladies that work at this shop are awesome. They helped me find the perfect dress for my wedding day. They were so knowledgable about the latest styles and the different dresses that would look good on me.

Carolina Bridal World probably saved my wedding. I had ordered a dress from a different wedding salon that, long story short, didn't happen (it was a horror story). After I was told by the original salon that I didn't have time to order another dress, I became desperate and found Carolina Bridal World online. From the moment I stepped in the door, the staff was so helpful. The salon was very clean and had MANY dresses. After I told them my situation, they really just wanted to help me. I found THE perfect dress that I loved 100% more than the first. The dress had to be rushed in order to make it on time but they waived the rush fee since it wasn't my fault that I had to order another dress. I honestly couldn't be happier with the service I received. Definitely recommend.

I came in October 2013 to shop for my May 2014 wedding. Cutting it a little close! A young girl (high school age) helped me and honestly...she was fantastic! All the staff at CBW were. I found a dress I loved but it would not arrive in time--or it would be cutting it close...meaning no bridal portraits prior. The dress I tried on fit perfectly and would not need any alterations. (It had been tried on so many times it had been stretched out but it was great condition-no flaws) Had I ordered the size it was it would not fit and the size up would have been too big and needed alterations. The owner agreed that this dress fit perfectly and could not allow me to order one and have alterations done--she said she had had the dress for a month and no one wore it as well as I did (brownie points for flattery). She agreed to sell me the dress for a small discount since it was a display dress and cut me a deal on my veil since I purchased both from her. The only problem I had was that I did not live close so I had to make multiple trips to get gown, veil and corset. The corset had to be returned because the size on the box did not match the size of the corset inside. This was not their fault but they were accomodating and wonderful just the same. I would recommend any bride go see the girls at CBW. They have a large selection and the prices are reasonable.

My family and I drove over an hour to visit this place and we were there all of 15 minutes! I read great reviews on theknot so I decided to give this place a try. There was so many dresses all smashed together it was difficult to find anything. I did try a few on since we made the trip down here. The sample dresses were ripped and or dirty from being tried on a million times. The styles were just not what I was looking for, for my rustic outdoor wedding.

I ordered my dress with Carolina Bridal World. I actually found the dress at a different shop but the employees at that shop were so rude that I ended up calling Carolina Bridal World from the parking lot of the other shop. They were able to order my dress, offer a better discount, and get it all in faster than expected.

Everyone at Carolina Bridal was really nice to me. They got very involved in helping me pick something to fit my body & I actually chose a dress that they suggested. Great experience.

This is not a frou-frou shopping experience, but they have a great selection of dresses. I bought my wedding dress, bridesmaids dresses and one groomswoman's dress there. You can't beat their prices. The only downside is they don't do their own alterations, but Just Sew by Renee is one of their recommendations and she is great.

I really wanted a conservative wedding gown and I did find a dress at Carolina Bridal World, but not with a tremendous amount of help from my best friend and not the staff. The staff was overwhelmed and very disorganized. Regardless of the fact that I kept saying I wanted lace and some sort of short sleeves, the sales girl just pulled whatever was the most expensive without any regard to my wishes...eventually my best friend found the dress. If I had it to do again, I would keep looking for a better store.

I loved my dress and I loved working with the staff at CBW. The floor sample dresses were a little dirty sometimes and some dresses were not my taste at all and looked a tad outdated, however, the dress quality was definitely better than David's Bridal in my opinion. My dress did come in over a month late which caused me to cancel my bridal portraits and receive quick alterations, but the shop was kind and extended me a veil credit to make things right. Overall, I would shop there again!

Their sample dresses are obviously well tried on, but they have a great selection of several designers. The staff was young, but overall very helpful and accomodating. Dress ordering was a breeze, and all dresses came in as expected.

I was very thankful to have been able to get my dress from Carolina Bridal. They allowed me to buy of the rack, which they normally don't do. However, the dress that I picked was a new dress that had only been there for a little while.

They had a great selection - not what you would normally find in a chain or bigger store - and because it is a smaller shop each time I went in I was helped immediately - no appointment necessary. All of the ladies were extremely helpful. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
