We had a destination wedding at Disney World. We live in New York so it was a relief that we were able to send all the dresses and suits there, have them steam and delivered before our big day at the hotel. So we had less things to worry about. They were very professional and communicated with me throughout the process. They arrived at the time of appointment, set up and touched up the steaming for my wedding dress. Sue, basically customized my whole top portion of my dress, as well as made many alterations due to my changing body. In a spur of the moment stop in this bridal shop I found the dress of my dreams. The family run business is funny, caring, and made the whole experience stress free and fun! My future husband was also able to get a suit vest that he bought elsewhere tailored to fit him perfectly, and they were able to get some beautiful pocket squares made from the bridesmaid fabric for us. They went above and beyond to help make our wedding day incredibly special.

Carolyn Allen’s Bridal & Tuxedos did a fantastic job when steaming my ball gown wedding dress and my husband’s tux! They arrived on time in our hotel room for the appointment and were very professional! I’m so happy I went with them when getting my wedding dress ready for my Disney Fairy Tale Wedding!!! I had flown in Orlando from out of state for my wedding with my dress in my carry on and you wouldn’t have even know it by the look of it after the appointment! A small and friendly shop! I love how I got to view photos of their available dresses in a binder, rather than sifting through racks of dresses. It made it so much easier, especially because I had no idea what I wanted in a dress! They even have their binders organized by price so you can make sure you stay within your budget. Sue and her family always welcomed me with open arms each visit, and made me feel comfortable. They share in the excitement of your big day! They’re knowledgeable about dresses and the wedding industry, and ensured my dress was altered exactly to my liking. The BEST bridal shop with the sweetest staff in the world! We have been working with Carollyn Allen for almost 3 years now thanks to COVID-19 consistently postponing our wedding. They helped me find my dream wedding dress and Sue worked her magic to make it fit like a glove! They also had beautiful suits to rent and to purchase that fit all of our groomsman perfectly. We are blessed to have found a company that is so patient and flexible with our constant wedding changes. Not only have they helped with our wedding, but I also have been able to bring in multiple dresses for my roles as a bridesmaid and Sue altered them all with ease. I recommend them to everyone I know!

I would come here 100 times to get my dress altered. Other than being just a bit too pricy I love this place. I also love Sue, Kenneth, and Kathleen! They were so welcoming to anyone who walked through their door. I could talk to them for hours! I also don’t think Sue could have done a better job with my dress, it was perfect!

My experience at Carolyn Allen's was amazing. I had visited a lot of bridal stores before arriving at Carolyn Allen and I was feeling defeated in my dress search. When I arrived at Carolyn Allen's the staff was extremely friendly. They gave me time to look through their inventory and then brought out each dress I wanted to try on. They have a huge selection of dresses in all types of styles and this was the first time in my search that I loved every dress I tried on. I was able to find my perfect wedding dress and Sue did an amazing job on my alterations to make it fit like a dream. I also had an outfit change and they were able to alter that to make sure that it was the perfect fit. We loved our experience so much at Carolyn Allen's that we went back to look and select a dress for my maid of honor as well as rent tuxs for the groom and best man. After my wedding I brought the dress back to Carolyn Allen's were they sent it off to be preserved with my vail. I just received it back and it looks just as beautiful as the day I picked it out at the store. I can't say enough wonderful things about the staff at Carolyn Allen. They truly make you feel like family. If you are looking for the best bridal and tuxedos store and experience look no further then Carolyn Allen.

I had arranged for Carolyn Allen's to steam my dress the day before my Disney wedding - They were so great to work with! They were so accommodating and it was so convenient that they were able to come to our hotel to do the steaming services. Sue absolutely saved the day - Not only did she do the steaming, but upon arriving in Florida, we discovered that somehow during our travels there were a few spots on the gown that had become discolored. I was absolutely horrified, but Sue was able to get the spots out completely!! I was amazed!

Sue and her husband who run the store are incredible! Such fun and caring people! They have a wide selection of dresses and were able to find me many dresses to try on in the style I was looking for. They are super easy to work with and have very reasonable pricing! Everyone loved my dress on my wedding day! Thank you!!

I bought my dress at another shop and it was a mortifying experience. The sample dress I tried on fit PERFECT! So the attendant had me order the exact same size. When my dress came in, it was TOO TIGHT in the bum/thigh area. When I asked them why it was different their response was "well the sample is all stretched out from everyone trying it on." WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY THAT BEFORE?! Anyways, Carolyn Allen's stepped in and saved the day! I was referred here by a friend and I was NOT disappointed! My dress fit perfectly! I only wish I would have started here and gotten my dress from them!

Sue from Carolyn Allen's Bridals was fantastic to work with! She was easy to schedule my dress pressing appointment with and she arrived promptly at 6AM at my Disney resort room to begin the service. She had my dress looking photo ready incredibly quickly and well ahead of schedule so the photographers did not need to stress! She also supplied me with the information for the dress preservation packages. A few days after the wedding I simply called the store and they scheduled Sue to come back the next day to pick my dress up from the Bell Services desk. They are doing the preservation and then shipping my dress to me. I did not have to worry about lugging my large gown all the way home from Disney! When Sue picked up my gown she texted me so I'd be aware. A++ service from the Carolyn Allen team- especially Sue!!!

I went to a LOT of places to find my wedding dress. As soon as I walked in, I knew this place was different. They provided me with a book of dresses to review including a book of discounted dresses, which I greatly appreciated. They only have one bride at a time so it was a very personalized experience. I found the perfect dress and my alterations were done on site at a great price. I would highly recommend this gem.

I shipped my gown to C.A’s from my local store in Michigan, and their process was extremely convenient! They called to notify me that the dress had arrived before I could even check on it, delivered and steamed the dress in my Disney hotel room, as well as picked it up (from a different hotel even) the day after our wedding. Their communication throughout the process was wonderful and greatly appreciated as well- highly recommend!!

I couldn't have asked for a better tailor for my wedding dress. Carolyn and Keith made my experience absolutely perfect. It was such a joy going into their shop for each fitting. They by far are the best alterations in Orlando. I not only had lost 35 pounds right before my wedding and my dress had to be taken in 6 sixes, I also added on custom straps, had a 7 button bustle and my entire dress was made out of lace. My wedding dress was one of my favorite parts of my wedding. I felt incredibly beautiful on my big day and that was because of Carolyn and Keith. They are going to be the one vendor I miss the most now that the big day is over.

The people who run this store are some of the most amazing, funny, kind, and professional individuals I've ever met. I never once felt uncomfortable or pressured at this bridal shop. They helped me find the perfect dress and were able to alter it until I had exactly what I wanted. Even when I was torn between two dresses, with a significant price difference, they gave me their honest opinions and did not try to push the more expensive dress on me. I could not have imagined a better dress shop to select for my wedding. They have a wide selection of dresses and accessories. My bridal party was mostly out of town and they worked so well with them. Everyone loved the owners as they were so friendly and funny. Not to mention my dress for perfectly on the day of! Look no further for your wedding dress boutique. This bridal salon is family owned and operated and you get that special personalized feel the moment you walk in. I tried on 10 dresses (that I selected from a book they made me sticky note) and thought the 10th dress was the one, I was done. They put an 11th dress in my fitting room and insisted I try it on, they were right. I bought the 11th dress (which I had not initially chosen). It was the best decision I made and I received tons of compliments on my wedding dress.

This is such a wonderful bridal salon. I had been to three others on my hunt for the perfect dress. A coworker recommended Carolyn Allen's, because they had done amazing alterations on her dress. I am so fortunate that she recommended them. I was surprised to find that they had all the dresses I had been pinning on pinterest! I decided on a Stella York gown, and I was impressed by the reasonable prices. Even the extensive alterations were well below my budget. The entire team there makes you feel like part of a family. Their goal is to make sure you love how you look and that the dress fits perfectly. I am a petite, plus-size girl, and I never thought I would feel as beautiful as I did. I loved my dress but I was hoping for a more modest neckline. They recommended a custom alteration using beaded sleeves as an addition to the neckline. The end result was gorgeous! They were patient with me at each fitting and you could tell that they genuinely cared about the customers and the work they did. Their attention to detail and genuine care is more than I ever expected. They have my highest recommendation, and I cannot thank them enough!

Carolyn Allen's bridal and tux was literally a dream to work with! Kathleen, Rick, and Sue are absolutely amazing! They got everything spot on with the Tux's, all 10 of them (we live in Texas and had a wedding party from around the world including Scotland and China). They did a fantastic job steaming my wedding gown, veil, rehearsal dress, 9 bridesmaids dresses and my MOB dress- they did all the steaming and tux delivery to our hotel, and picked everything up the day after the wedding. The service was unbelievable- beyond 5 stars. If you are having a Disney wedding, or a wedding in the Orlando, Florida area you HAVE to use Carolyn Allen's bridal and tux- they will NOT disappoint!

Prompt, really friendly, and did a quick and fantastic job steaming my gown, my bridesmaids' dresses, and the MOB/MOG dresses! They had to come to my hotel room at 8 am to be finished before the hair/makeup started, but they were a pleasant start to our morning. Even better, the preservation service was so easy to use - I just left the gown and the form with bell services, and they texted me within 15 minutes that they had picked it up! So stress-free, the whole experience was great.

Carolyn Allen's made getting my wedding dress steamed as stressfree as possible. On the morning of the wedding they arrived to my hotel room at Disney World and took care of my dress and a couple of my bridesmaids' dresses in a timely manner and did an amazing job! I used to work at The Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes and whenever a bride or wedding party needed something in a pinch, we reached out to Carolyn Allen's. Over the years, I have recommended them to all my friends. When it was finally my turn to get married, I knew this was the place to go. The veil was one of the most important things about my wedding. I really wanted a cathedral veil with lace starting at the fingertips. Everywhere I went, those veils were over $1000 and that was waaayyyy out of my budget. The veils I did find that were within my budget were awful and cheap-looking. Sue suggested we make our own. I ordered a veil from them and at their suggestion, I went to the Sewing Studio in Maitland and picked out beautiful lace. Sue cut the lace and sewed it onto the veil... I literally cried when I saw it. It was one of the most beautiful veils I'd ever seen. We also did our tuxedo rentals with Carolyn Allen's and they were perfect! If you are looking for an intimate and genuinely friendly wedding boutique, this is the place- they will really make all your dreams come true!

All I can say about this bridal salon is the staff is amazing the selection of dresses is perfect! I purchased my wedding dress from them, and also my bridesmaids dresses! They treat you like family, and all of our dresses turned out beautiful. I would recommend everyone to visit them!

We had Carolyn Allen's come to our hotel room to steam two dresses (one vintage satin with a long train which had been packed and then transported ) and another shorter dress for dancing at the reception, as well as a Cathedral veil. The service was VERY prompt. As soon as we contacted them with our room number, they were at the door. The lady steaming the dress was courteous and worked quickly. She knew exactly what to do, and was finished with plenty of time left for us to get to the wedding rehearsal that evening. She left information (and a $20 coupon) for having the dress preserved and sent to our home, complete with $1,000 insurance. The dress arrived at our home in less than a month. I highly recommend this company. I had arranged for the steaming on their website prior to coming to Florida for the wedding.

After traveling from NJ to FL with my entire bridal party's dresses and my wedding gown everything desperately needed to be steamed. With everything else going on this had completely slipped my mind. It was only a few days before the wedding and our schedule was packed but Carolyn Allen's was able to accommodate us right before our rehearsal dinner and it worked out perfectly! They were on time, very sweet and worked quickly. Worth every penny!

I have been searching for Bridesmaid dresses, and upon finding a style that would suite my 3 girls, found that this location carried the designer. I called and was told that they did have the dress, but only in short; grateful that they had it, I decided to make an appointment at a later date. When I did book the appointment, I confirmed that we (my MOH) and I were coming in to try on that specific dress, and made sure they had it in stock. Of course, upon arriving - they did not have the dress. We had my MOH baby with us, and they were wonderful with her, however I did not appreciate being lied to, and bullied into using their location to purchase our dresses. Luckily we did find a suitable dress, and I will be ordering direct from the manufacturer.

Carolyn Allen's Bridal shop did a great job and were very helpful. I was a destination bride and consequently, my dress was in serious need of steaming by the time it made it to Florida. They came right to our rental home to steam the dress the morning of the wedding. It was perfect when I put it on. Additionally, after the wedding, they came back to pick it up in order to clean, steam and preserve it for me. Then, they shipped it to my home! It was great not worrying about it getting back to my hometown.

I was married last week in Florida and used Carolyn Allen's Bridals and Tuxedos to steam my dress and veil, 3 bridesmaid dresses, and 2 suits. I shipped everything the week before the wedding to Carolyn Allen's which made it so much easier to travel. I was so happy not having to worry about my wedding dress on the plane. They delivered everything right to my hotel room the day before the wedding and touched up the dresses and suits while they were there. They were extremely friendly, fast, and reasonably priced. Everything came out beautiful and I would recommend them to everyone.

Carolyn Allen's Bridals and Tuxedos is second to none when it comes to servicing a Walt Disney World Resort wedding! Having shipped my dress ahead of time (from Los Angeles to Orlando) to their storage facilities, Carolyn Allen's delivered my dress to the BoardWalk Inn the morning of my wedding, and it was perfectly steamed/pressed and poofed! My husband and I were also so grateful that Carolyn Allen's was able to steam/press on-site the tuxedos and dresses of our bridal party in full - Since this was in a way a destination wedding, it was really comforting for our party to not have to worry about their attire being wrinkled in travel! And finally, Carolyn Allen's cleaning and return shipping service is awesome - All I had to do was put it in the bag, it was picked up from the resort, and delivered back to CA in two weeks (all at a price less than what I paid to ship it to FL)!

When I was ready to shop for bridesmaid dresses I started here, a local shop near my home, and looked no further. I found exactly the colors I was looking for in a unique style to fit our personality. Sizes varied from 4-22 and everyone looked beautiful. Sue and her husband are very patient and did an excellent job assisting us in finding the perfect tuxedos to compliment the dresses. Don't sweat the fear of needing alterations as Sue is a perfectionist and very affordable. My fiancé insisted on comparing prices of the tuxedos at chain stores, thinking our out of town bridal party could be better accommodated. What he found was far less quality for the same price or even more expensive. We had 20 people in our party and only 2 lived locally. Everyone was able to easily order online and raved of the service when they came for fittings. (Dresses could be shipped to or held upon arrival.) Support your local business, be treated like the individual you are, and indulge in the luxury of Carolyn Allen's for your special day and you won't be disappointed! (side note: my best friend used this boutique 8 years ago and it was fabulous then, too!). Be sure to set your appointment with Sue or her husband for the best service!

I used Carolyn Allen's for my wedding gown alterations and wedding day steaming for myself and my bridesmaids. The staff was very nice and explained each step of the alterations process. They were much cheaper than the alterations prices at the store I purchased my dress at. I also hired them to steam my gown and my bridesmaids' dresses the day of the wedding. They arrived promptly and had everyone's dress steamed and ready to go. I would highly recommend them!

I went to this store on a whim because I saw they were having a sample sale. I didn't even bring anyone with me because I really didn't think I would find anything, but of course I did! I had always imagined my wedding dress a certain way, but I hadn't found anything close to it. I found a dress on sale here that I could see was a good base for what I wanted, and as I described to them what I imagined, they said they could create it no problem! I got the dress super cheap since it was a sample, and then Sue worked on making all the adjustments I wanted, such as adding lace cap sleeves with a keyhole back. I purchased the lace myself and then took it back to the store for Sue, and she did an AMAZING job working with the lace to create the look I wanted. She got all the details right! She also encouraged me to get the shoes I wanted (lace booties since my dress was tea length) when every else discouraged me. Now every time I show someone pictures, one of the first things they comment on is how cool the boots are! Everyone there is so wonderful, kind, and helpful! It was a great experience and they work really hard to make you happy! I would recommend this to any bride looking for a more personal dress experience!

I dislike how most bridal stores pressure you in buying a dress before you have a chance to look in the mirror! Carolyn Allen's bridal store were very patient and sweet. They did not pressure me at all and the owners are very down to earth. They have a beautiful selection of dresses for a very economic price. I definitely recommend them!

They arrived on time and steamed my dress quickly and efficiently in the wee hours of the morning! My dress traveled with me from Montreal, Canada all the way to Florida. My big pouffy princess style dress with a long train arrived a bit wrinkled to say the least. When Carolyn Allen was done steaming it though, it looked brand new! I couldn't be any happier with their service!
