Gorgeous Venue Carriage Hills Ranch is a beautiful venue in the Texas Hill Country. The grounds are lovely, and there are great choices for ceremony and reception locations. The staff is great to work with and responds quickly to messages and questions. Michelle's attention to detail helped our day to run smoothly, and my daughter's outdoor wedding was exactly as we planned it. We didn't need to worry about the weather because the indoor location would have also been great. The venue has an extensive assortment of table decor and decorative items that made our planning easier and more cost effective. We had a great experience with Carriage Hills Ranch, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a Hill Country wedding.

We held our homeschool Winter Formal in this amazing location this week. We had 150 high schoolers attend. The venue is absolutely beautiful, lots of places for photos. We didn’t have to do much decorating because the room is already so pretty! We loved the elegant rustic feel, and the fantastic lighting. The staff at Carriage Hills was so attentive and wonderful to work with. They anticipated our every need and went above and beyond to serve us. The kids had a great time dancing the night away without a care! A truly beautiful location from the hill country views to the most minor detail inside. I can’t recommend it enough.

Overall, my new husband and I enjoyed our experience with Carriage Hills Ranch! I noticed the topic of most (if not all) of the negative reviews was the alcohol/bar situation. We had a very good experience on the day of our event. The only negative from our end is that I have seen other venues buy back unopened or unused alcohol from whoever paid for it and I think that would’ve been nice. Alternatively, if you’re reading I’m sure you know how stressful planning a wedding or any large event can be and how many moving parts there are that need to be tied together and Carriage Hills Ranch takes so much care in making sure you check everything off the list. We didn’t have a wedding planner and the organization of the staff there was VERY helpful. We planned our wedding in only 6 months and being able to plan nearly everything through the venue was super easy. The point is though, the day of our wedding was almost seamless and it was a beautiful day, I also have had no complaints from any guests. I would recommend this venue to anyone that is looking for a laid back romantic style wedding or event especially if you’re working with a short time frame and/or you’re looking for something with a lot of inclusions!

I wish I could give this place 10 stars. I fell in love with this place the second I saw it online, and it was even more amazing and gorgeous in person! The fact that all decorations as well as tables/chairs/linens are included in the total price is uniquely refreshing! The staff is super sweet and easy to work with. They explain every step along the way and are always willing to answer any questions. They worked with me to create the space I saw in my dreams, from the ceremony location to the table arrangement for the reception. I could not have asked for a better venue to celebrate our love with our friends and family. By the time we left, we felt like the staff was part of our family too! I have already and will continue to recommend this venue to others in search of their perfect location.

Carriage Hills Ranch is a gorgeous venue and Michelle and her team/family are wonderful to work with! They have an amazing collection of wedding decor available for use and seem to have thought of everything!! We knew the moment we took the tour that it was the place for us and feel like we made some new friend along the way!

What a wonderful venue. Michelle and the whole team was great to work with. Made us feel like family from day one. Our wedding could not have gone any smoother thanks to all the staff and wonderful vendors we hired. The venue exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend to anyone considering a rustic hill country wedding. They offer so much in comparison to other venues in the area! The venue and people at Carriage Hills Ranch are amazing. The gazebo, fireplace, reception hall and the people made Carriage Hills such a great pick for our wedding. Michelle and her family are the best. They made us feel so welcome over our year long journey to our special day. Carriage Hills Ranch is a magical and beautiful venue to have a wedding! It has so many unique touches that many venues do not offer. My husband and I got married under the gazebo by the lake and we have the most amazing memories and pictures from it. It really is breathtaking. The venue has lots of parking for guests and lots of reception space for dancing, mingling, and eating yummy food! We had our reception inside and it was perfect. We loved sitting on the stage with our bridal party and the venue had so many decorations and table cloths for us to use as well which was such a big help when it came to saving money where we could.. You will not find a better venue for such an amazing price. Also the staff are the cherry on top. Michelle and her family are so kind and went above and beyond to help make my wedding perfect. Don’t second guess booking here, get on their schedule while you can!

Carriage Hill Ranch is such a beautiful place. My husband and I fell in love with the venue. Michelle was wonderful and very helpful with every step. She answered all my questions and guided us through everything. We definitely took advantage of the open houses to get ready and have everything for our big day. The day of the wedding everything was ready and set, it went more than smooth. The venue is so beautiful that the pictures easily became my favorite gift. We wouldn't change a thing that day, we are both so happy how relaxed and calm it was for us.

We loved our wedding venue! Even with the pond gone during the drought, we had horses in the back of our ceremony and it was a nice touch. Everybody commented on how lovely the venue was and we felt at home the entire day and night. Michelle is so helpful and welcoming to all who come to the property, and does her best to help every couple and their families feel welcome and at home while there. The decor inventory is such a nice added bonus because they have linens for every table and decor you can use on the wedding day. We plan to come back and visit some day.

My daughter recently had her wedding at Carriage Hills Ranch in Blanco, TX on 10-29-22. From the very first tour, we all knew that this was the location. Michelle and her family are wonderful, caring, knowledgeable and were always available throughout the whole process from the planning to the final goodbyes. The venue is so relaxing you never want to leave. LOVED all the decor options. The vast majority of the decor used during the reception was theirs and we also incorporated some of our own personal touches. The Bridal Cabin is darling and the boys enjoyed their 'Grooms Room'. WE had so many compliments from family and guests saying that this was one of the best weddings that they ever attended. It is a bit of a drive out of San Antonio but the drive is beautiful that you hardly notice the distance. 100000000 stars.

We booked Carriage Hills Ranch for our reception (our wedding ceremony was on a family ranch nearby), and we cannot praise Carriage Hills Ranch enough for how amazing, beautiful, and well organized it was. Michelle was so great to work with and very communicative and interactive with all the couples who book Carriage Hills. They have a TON of nice decor/linens/resources you can pick from to use free of charge when you book with them, and they make sure to put all the items you chose out how you like them. The venue was absolutely gorgeous, every inch of it!!!

1000/10 recommend celebrating your special day at Carriage Hills Ranch! We absolutely loved our wedding day thanks to Michelle and the whole family. When she scheduled our first visit of the property, we absolutely fell in love. Not only with the property, but with the family. They are so warm and kind, we knew they would take care of us and our special day! They provide open houses once a month after you’ve booked to go to the property and plan things out. My favorite part was going through the decor room (which you could use for FREE!) and creating our centerpieces. Those open houses really helped with the planning process. I can’t say much about the setting up and tearing down process as my day of coordinator handled most of that, but from the minute I arrived to the minute I left, everything ran so smoothly! There are so many great spots for pictures on the property. My husband and I did our first look and private vows on the little brick bridge. I did my first look with my dad out by the fire place and first look with my mom in the beautiful bridal cabin. My favorite spot on the entire property is the famous street car. We had our cocktail hour there and it just looked so beautiful at Sunset in November! The bartending company that they have a contract with our AMAZING. The family stayed on the property the entire night to help out with any bumps, but there wasn’t many. Again, I would recommend this beautiful venue to anyone, especially if you’re looking for something with an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception in the beautiful hill country. Blanco, TX has now become a special place in our heart. We can’t wait to continue making memories there with our growing family❤️

The Carragie hills ranch is such a beautiful and some what magical place. My husband and I couldn't think of a more perfect place to have gotten married . This spot is so warm and loving , you'll learn that from all the family history here. That's what we adored first about this place, they take such good care and put a lot of love here. So much was built with their hands , the layout and area is gorgeous as well. Michelle and her mother are such wonderful and caring people, their whole family is just sweet . I really thank them for letting people get married here it's a absolute gem of a venue . Michelle was very on top of things they have a whole vendor list and very helpful tips to look at they have tons of decor and linens . I'm so happy this place was where we got married it'll forever be in my heart.

This venue is so pretty with so many great places for those special photos. The Texas Chic feel is authentic here--it's the real deal. The owner/operators are a family that works together to make your day special. They are very helpful and always assisting with information, ideas, suggestions, and they respond quickly. The decor closet they keep has so many great items which are free and available for you to use! You can't go wrong using this venue for your wedding or other special event! We would definitely use them again.

Carriage Hills was the perfect wedding venue for us! The beautiful Hill Country landscape combined with the rustic atmosphere and facilities were absolutely fantastic! The staff was always supportive and willing to help us make our day perfect, and were so helpful with the on-site décor, helpful set up and day of support, and overall positive attitudes through the entire process! They were the first venue toured, and we found that all the others we visited just lacked the charm and homey atmosphere we felt at Carriage Hills! The only issue we had was that the required bartending service were not the best communicators, but the venue staff were all wonderful!

The Carriage Hills Ranch team is filled with incredible people. They listen to your visions and concerns for you wedding and go above and beyond to help you make you ideas a reality. They have an amazing decor closet that can help lower cost, they are always getting new item to be able to incorporate into weddings. The day of, Michelle and her team were amazing! Our friends and family raved about how helpful, welcoming, and loving their family was! We had hoped to have an outdoor ceremony, but when it rained the whole day Michelle helped us make our inside ceremony space special, she even gave us good ideas for photos to stay out of the rain but get beautiful photos! We hope to be apart of the Carriage Hills family for years to come.

Hidden Gem Among Texas Hill Country Wedding Venues. Perfect for an Indian-American Fusion Wedding. From the very beginning, Carriage Hills Ranch treated us like family. I had researched and visited countless wedding venues in the Texas Hill Country, and stumbled upon CHR in a bridal magazine. Carriage Hills had the perfect gazebo space for an outdoor Indian wedding in the hill country. Michelle is the main venue contact and she is amazing. She always responded promptly to questions and although CHR had never done an Indian Wedding before, Michelle really worked with us to make our vision come true. Not only do they answer your questions but they have MANY resources available for bride’s who are planning a wedding and trying to keep costs low. Carriage Hills has NUMEROUS super cute and diverse decor items that we could use -FREE OF COST. The CHR website has a list of vendors it has worked with on it’s website that is super helpful. The website is so organized and it has all of the information a bride could need. Michelle also provides all booked couples with a Wedding Planning google doc that has SO MUCH wonderful info and tips and tricks for wedding planning. Michelle was also flexible with rules and guidelines in special circumstances. Not to mention, wedding planning during the year of COVID was stressful, but Michelle was so flexible and amazing she really made it easy. One thing to be aware of is that CHR requires their couples to use The Pour Horse Co. as their alcohol vendor. Our experience with Pour Horse was less than ideal, but this should not take away from how amazing Carriage Hills is. I would 100% still have my wedding at Carriage Hills Ranch despite the poor bartending service by The Pour Horse. As it got closer to the wedding, Michelle’s wedding checklist was amazing at keeping me on top of all the details. On the day of, I feel like the Carriage Hills staff was more helpful than my own wedding coordinator. It was a large Indian wedding, 160-170 guests, with a lot of moving parts. Michelle and the CHR team really went above and beyond, setting up and breaking our chairs and tables, helping with decor (although this is not their job) and really just helping whereever we needed help. I absolutely LOVED having my wedding at Carriage Hills. The outdoor grounds are BEAUTIFUL. There are so many giant shady oak trees and cool spots around the grounds that have a lot of history and character. The inside reception hall is magical with it’s strings of lights on the ceiling and large stage. CHR has a certain rustic Texan charm that was perfect for our Indian-American fusion wedding. The space, the people, the vibes, everything was perfect. I am extremely grateful to Michelle and CHR for all of their help. I feel like Carriage Hills Ranch is a hidden gem among wedding venues. It was perfect for my Big Fat Indian-American Fusion Wedding.

CHR was our dream venue. The venue is so well priced and has a décor CLOSET! I barley spent any money on décor items. CHR is family owned and operated and they were so sweet and helpful! The venue itself was beautiful! We really did not have to decorate for the ceremony because the venue was so naturally pretty. Michelle does a great job of staying in contact with you and answering any questions. I was over the moon with the beauty, helpfulness, kindness, and price of CHR. Another plus to this venue is that you don't feel like it is just a money thing for the family owners. They really care and want you to have the wedding of your dreams.

We had our wedding Oct. 10, 2020 and it was absolutely beautiful at this location. We couldn't have been happier with our choice. With all the covid stuff going on during the planning phase it was pretty difficult but working with Michelle made it so much easier. So easy and quick to communicate with Michelle throughout the entire process. Her husband were so helpful the day of the wedding & really made you feel comfortable and like family. Everything went absolutely perfect! Loved that this venue had so many perks already there. We didn't do much extra for decorations because I loved the way it was already. Love that they have a room full of decor and supplies to borrow/use for your event. Saved so much money on that stuff too. This venue is the Ultimate package deal! If I had to do it again, I would still pick carriage hills ranch!

I cannot say enough good things about Carriage Hills Ranch!! From the moment I stepped for on the property I was in love. I literally said this is the one. It had everything I was looking for! A chic rustic but vintage feel, a venue that didn’t need to be decorated because it was naturally beautiful the way it was. Michelle and the staff was incredible, like they took care of every request we had and were so responsive! We actually had to move our wedding back 6 months and CHR was so great about it. So understanding and compassionate and really made us feel like moving our event was not gonna be an issue and worked with us through it all. We highly highly recommend CHR and I know that future couples that have their wedding here will have their dream wedding like we did!

Our experience with Carriage Hills Ranch was an absolute dream from the very start! Within the first few minutes of meeting the lovely Ms.Christine and learning of the family-owned heritage surrounding CHR, we were absolutely sold. The amount of compassion and flexibility shown by the amazing CHR family during the COVID-19 pandemic was absolutely unparalleled. While we were expecting to have to cancel our entire ceremony due to the uncertainty surrounding finances and other factors, CHR was able to work with us in a way that allowed us to have both our originally planned ceremony AND even a mini-reception! If you are considering multiple venues, stop here. The family is amazing, the venue is BEYOND beautiful, and the prices absolutely cannot be beat. We will continue to recommend Carriage Hills Ranch for years to come.

Along with all of our friends and family, we still can't stop talking about how amazing the venue is. There aren't enough words to express our gratitude and awe at what Christine and Michelle put together. And we feel so grateful and honored that we were able to have our wedding at their beautiful location. We had researched online almost 30 other venues before we found CHR and visited a handful. And the moment we arrived to CHR we knew we wanted our wedding at that space. We were especially surprised when we arrived because their online photos really do not do them justice. Along the way we learned the space was not the only magical part of the venue. Although it does have everything you could ever need in terms of decorations all set up. Working with Christine and Michelle made us feel like we joined the family and we were hosting our wedding in our family's property. Every time we met Christine, it always began and ended with a hug. And she was immensely helpful and generous in lending us stuff to use as table center pieces and signage and various small decorations from her wonderful, HUGE closet of wedding accessories. Their communication was also amazing. We unexpectedly learned that a bartending vendor they had created an exclusive agreement with was souring and turning into a horrible service provider. While we hope CHR will cut ties with that bartending service, Michelle took our concerns incredibly seriously and spoke with the vendor to try to minimize the damage. There is no question in our minds that they are 100% committed to those who rent their space and in trying to ensure the people experience one of the most special days of their lives there. For us, it worked. We already are jokingly brainstorming about what other events we can have in order to revisit the beautiful space they have created that we love so much. In closing, we expect to remember them for the rest of our lives when we reminisce on our wedding day. Simply put... wonderful!!

When I began planning my wedding I knew I wanted to find a Hill Country location. I was overwhelmed with the amount of venues to choose from! Here’s how we settled on CHR. From the first moment we reached out, Michelle & Christine were very friendly and accommodating. During the entire process we were treated as if we were their only clients. They were prompt to answer phone calls and emails. They honestly treat you like family. The pros: -Beautiful reception area requiring very little decorating extras on your part -Gorgeous outside ceremony area with gazebo in front of water -Beautiful grounds for photos -Fun brides cabin for the ladies to get ready and back room for the gentlemen to get ready -Secluded area, wedding crashers aren’t an issue! -Storage room with TONS of decorations you can utilize -Real working farm, our guests LOVED seeing the animals, tractors and hay on the grounds -Preferrered vendor list was so helpful in selecting some of our vendors, we liked that we were able to choose our vendors rather than being told who we had to use -The price was tight and they offered a military discount The cons: -The majority of our guests came from out of state and there is only one major hotel in Blanco. We had issues with the hotel securing a block of rooms for our guests. This isn’t CHR’s issue at all, but just a fair warning for out of towners. There are a handful of other locations for your guests to stay as well -CHR only allows you to contract with one company for bartending services, and we didn’t love our experience with that company CHR was the perfect location for us, our guests could not stop talking about how much they loved it! We hope to be able to attend another event there in the future!

The ladies at Carriage Hills stopped at nothing to make my day special and wonderful from beginning to end! This venue has a lot of Texas hill country charm that you don't find at a lot of other places! I would recommend this venue to anyone planning their special day!

I just wanted to take the time and write this review for Carriage Hills Ranch in Blanco Texas because my son, Jeremiah and his bride, Holly just had an enchanting wedding there last weekend. This venue is nestled in the small historic town of Blanco, Texas with Dripping Springs, Johnson City and Fredericksburg as the neighboring towns. It is not only is a beautiful venue offering all of the hill country charm but the owner, Chris Bushong and her two daughters, Sara and Michelle where there from the beginning of planning until the last dance to make sure everything went the way we envisioned their special day to be. This venue offers natural beauty of the hill country including a lake that is so beautiful behind the gazebo made out of limestone rock and ironwork. Absolutely stunning! To make it even different from most weddings, my son had a horse-drawn carriage from “Gone With The Wind” rented from the Buggy Barn Museum in Blanco to bring his bride and her father to the ceremony and then Jeremiah and Holly rode off in it after the ceremony. The reception was held in the rustic hall that will seat 200 guests with everything we needed to serve our guests, dance and just relax! It definitely had the authentic hill country feeling. There were many features to take stunning photos throughout the night and as the sunset came upon us, it was breathtaking! I would highly recommend this venue for your wedding or event. You will not be disappointed! The venue staff will make sure you have covered every detail that you may not have thought of with sincerity and compassion. Getting married can be very stressful but not only are you renting a venue at Carriage Hills Ranch you are paying for owners that really do care about your special day! If you book with them, your guest will come! We had so many of our guest state over and over how beautiful this venue was and it was worth the drive. It is only a short drive outside of Austin and you will make your special day truly different than any other wedding you have been to! My son and his wife were married at Carriage Hills Ranch in Blanco, TX. It was the most beautiful setting for an outdoor wedding, which is what they wanted! The stone gazebo where the ceremony took place was gorgeous with the lake and the rolling hills in the background! The staff was amazing, kind, and helpful with all our requests. The horse drawn carriage that the bride rode in was one of the most memorable moments of the day!

The setting was beautiful, the atmosphere was romantic, the horse and carriage were gorgeous and the reception hall was magnificent. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better setting. They were very accommodating and very flexible. I give them an A+ and would highly recommend them to everyone
