My best friends got married here this summer. It was absolutely beautiful and the wedding was great. The remodel so far looked good. However, the staff was very hard to communicate with. The bride, and the MOB, have called and reached out many times to the event coordinator and no response. Communication only existed in the begining when we would tour the venue and then only a few weeks up to the wedding. Eventually we did get a hold of the owner but there was information the owner would tell us that the event coordinator told us differently. Love that this is a family business but we did find it inconvenient they had their children or grandchildren playing at the venue. They would leave their scooters by the door and other areas where there was traffic when we were hauling in items. Our other vendors also informed us that the venue was beautiful and the wedding was gorgeous, however working with the event coordinator was not as good as they hoped it would be. Eventually the event coordinator disappeared and we had no clue where they went but the bartenders were amazing with service. The only note about the bar was that we had some guests say the beer was served warm.
Overall still a good venue.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review!
A quick apology for the kids. Dad is ...
a full-time and volunteer firefighter so sometimes there are unplanned times he can't be holding the fort down while Jess is tending to events at the mill. The kids have had to be in-tow less this summer as they are a year older.
I look forward to the day when I can swing a full-time manager. I know that will help immensely with the follow-up coordination between contracting and the final details meeting. We're always confident that we have it handled but sometimes forget that our couples may not have that full confidence we do. That is something we can be better at.
And the bartenders have been trained to finish out the night...If the day-of coordinator is starting out on sight at 9 or 10 in the morning to make sure everything is straightened back up after rehearsal and to be there for the vendors and such, by the time 8 pm rolls around she's got anywhere from 10 to 12 hours in.
I can't say anything about warm beer though...
Once again, thank you! I can't fix things that I don't know are problems.
