rfection. The food and catering truly impressed us and our guests — people are still raving about it. Marina and Lori were an absolute dream to work with. Their attention to every single detail was incredible and they made sure the day went smoothly from start to finish. The entire staff was kind, accommodating, and genuinely cared about making our wedding day perfect. Yes, it is one of the pricier options on the island but I can confidently say that you get what you pay for. Marina went above and beyond to bring our vision to life and we couldn’t be more grateful. It was truly the best day of our lives. If you’re on the fence about booking your wedding here, this is your sign. We did extensive research on venues across Key West and Casa Marina was by far the best choice. It’s private and intimate in a way that’s hard to find elsewhere and they offer indoor backup space so you don’t need to worry about Florida’s unpredictable weather. Thank you, Casa Marina, for giving us the most magical day. We will cherish it forever.

0 guests. The oceanfront views, historic charm, and stunning ambiance made it a truly picturesque setting. We initially worked with Blair during the visit and then transitioned to Lori, who handled our coordination prior to the wedding. While the venue itself was breathtaking, there were several details to keep in mind: 1. Christmas Decorations in December: The venue has extensive holiday decorations during December. While we managed to have them removed from the ballroom, the lobby, pier, and palm tree alley were still decorated with Christmas lights and red and green colors. This affected our nighttime photos, as we had envisioned white lights for a non-Christmas theme. 2. Food & Beverage: The tasting was fantastic, and the food was delicious. However, there were issues on the day of the event. Despite confirming details a few days prior, the groom’s salad was forgotten, his steak was overcooked (we requested medium rare), and the lobster tails for the surf and turf were not pre-shelled as requested. This made it difficult for guests in formal attire to enjoy their meal. On the positive side, the late-night slider bar was a hit, and we received our cake as planned. 3. Room Accommodations: While our room was upgraded per the agreement, it was mostly a pool view with only a partial ocean view. The hotel was fully booked, so they couldn’t accommodate further changes. Guests who had booked specific rooms, such as a ground-floor lanai for convenience with children, were moved to other rooms, which was disappointing. We felt that the best rooms should be reserved for the couple, especially when hosting a large wedding and spending significant money at the hotel. 4. Getting Ready Spaces: The bridal party used a suite to get ready, while the groomsmen used the Gold Key Room, a meeting room with no mirror or aesthetic appeal for photos. The suite for the girls was not cleaned properly during the wedding, despite multiple requests to housekeeping. When I returned for an outfit change, the room was still cluttered with leftover food, dirty glasses, and furniture out of place. Even the next morning, we ended up cleaning ourselves, and when we called for assistance after breaking a champagne glass, it took over three hours to receive help. My sister, who had a suite with a baby, also experienced poor cleaning service, including dirty diapers left on the floor after trash removal. 5. High Volume of Weddings: December is a busy wedding season in the Keys, and Casa Marina hosts multiple weddings daily. While the staff did their best, it was evident that the high volume affected their ability to give the detailed attention we had hoped for. Overall, Casa Marina is a gorgeous venue with lots of potential, but the experience felt less personalized due to the busyness of the season. We do appreciate that they offered us a couple’s massage on the beach to make up for the issues. If you’re considering Casa Marina for your wedding, be mindful of the holiday decorations, the busy schedule, and the importance of confirming every detail well in advance.

e elegance — replete with salty breezes, heartbreaking sunsets, stunning grounds, delicious food and, not least, dedicated staffers who made us feel like we were their only customers. (To be fair, I can't speak to the rooms, but some of our wedding guests who stayed there said the accommodations were top-notch.) When a lifelong memory is on the line, it’s a helluva responsibility. CM met it in spades—and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. Massive thanks again to all who made it happen, and we hope to be back again soon!

uburbs of Chicago to plan their 4-day wedding weekend, in addition to executing all floral and design elements. Doing all of this for a Key West wedding from Chicago brought its' share of obstacles, but none that couldn't be worked through because we had the amazing Lori Harding from Casa Marina on our side. Lori could simply NOT have been more helpful to our entire team throughout the six months of planning. She answered every question, sent us recommendations of local vendor partners, helped us with every odd request, all without a flinch. She was so willing to help through every element and was genuinely so kind and wonderful to work with when it was time for the actual event! The rest of the Casa team, especially Lubos, the FABULOUS catering manager were equally wonderful to work with. A very well-oiled machine who welcomed our Chicago team with open arms. As vendors, we can with utmost confidence recommend this resort for your wedding and know that you'll be in the best of hands with Lori and her team working beside you!

t weekend, making the stressors go away and ensuring that all guests had a fantastic time. So many compliments on food were given out for dinner and brunch, which is absolutely a plus. 10/10 would recommend!

L of the following boxes: 1) An on-site Plan B for inclement weather Your ceremony will simply be moved indoors or into one of the hotel's outdoor/covered corridors. Plan B for weather is critical for a Florida wedding and we greatly appreciated having a built-in backup plan without any additional $$ or movement for our guests. 2) Beach wedding ceremony with a hotel ballroom for the reception Casa's beach is one of the only private beaches on Key West so your ceremony can be private, aside from hotel guests watching (and cheering) from afar. The iconic Casa walkway from the beach to the hotel is absolutely breathtaking for guests and photos! The ceremony and cocktail hour both are hosted outside to enjoy the gorgeous early evening weather and then guests can head inside for the private reception. The Flager Ballroom is stunning with ceilings lined with wood and built-in dance floor. We simply couldn't find another venue in Key West that offered us both an indoor and outdoor option in one place while also accommodating our guest count. 3) Ability to host a guest count of 140+ guests Many other venues on the island were non-starters for us due to our guest count. Casa was easily able to accommodate our guest count and in their beautiful, recently remodeled Flagler ballroom. In addition to our baseline requirements that Casa met above, we were blown away by the menu selections we enjoyed at our tasting. We were only disappointed that we couldn't offer our guests more than 2 options as we couldn't seem to narrow down! The Casa puts on a lovely tasting appointment with personalized menus, samples of your selected dishes and wine. We especially loved meeting the Chef and being able to add suggestions to personalize the dishes based on guest dietary preferences - we even have his email address. Casa's preferred vendor list also got us connected to wonderful + local vendors on the island. These vendors have become our family over the past year of planning and we are so excited we went with local as opposed to bringing anyone down from South Florida. One of our only 'wishes' would be that Casa would offer a room block for guests as opposed to a 10% discount. We believe more of our guests would have chosen to stay at the wedding hotel with a room block/room block pricing, making it easier to do welcome bags and gather the guests in one spot. That being said, Key West is full of options for guest lodging and our guests ended up just booking all over the island. Finally, I'd like to give a HUGE shoutout to our wedding coordinator Blaire. She has been by our side for the entirety of our planning process since March 2019. She recommended my FH and I come down to visit on a popular wedding date a year out from our wedding to see the venue + experience the weather + watch the wedding from afar (sitting on a beach hammock!) She also hosted my parent's for a tour on another trip without us even being there. She also helped schedule a beautiful wedding tasting for my parents, FH and I this past January and sat through the tasting and answered all of our questions/suggestions. I most appreciate her support through our recent postponement due to COVID-19 which took us from our May 2020 to February 2021 wedding date. Thank you Blaire!

for us and this was it! Ashley as Casa Marina was so amazing to work with and really made the whole transition and process seamless for us! She helped us secure rooms for our guest, plan an amazing Welcome DInner menu, and ensure that we always had just what we needed. The venue was a perfect location for a beach liau party for our Welcome and beautifully transformed into a romantic setting for our ceremony. The beach was always cleaned, they kept other guests cleared to keep it feeling exclusvie to our guests and were so accomodating! We loved it here and would go back and do it just the same all over again!

When we arrived we were so impressed by all of the staff and how sweet and accommodating they were the entire weekend. Our ceremony and reception was flawless, I'm still shocked that there was no mishaps at all! We had our ceremony on East Beach and our reception in the Grand Ballroom. I was initially worried about our wedding not feeling private as it was at a resort, but that was not the case at all. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the resort was and how amazing the cocktails and food were. They said it was the most fun they ever had at a wedding and I can't disagree. There is nothing that my husband and I would've changed, everything was perfect!

beautiful after Hurricane Irma, the greenery was up, the rooms were well kept, and the service was excellent. The staff catered well to some serious food allergies and food preferences (gluten Celiac, lactose, vegetarian). The drinks made at the bar were delicious - try the Mo-Tito! - and the staff kept them flowing to our party by the pool and sand. The wedding planning was made simple for us as we live almost 2,000 miles away, and it was exactly our vision. The grounds are beautiful and the staff was excellent. They all deserve a big pat on the back. The Casa is easy access to public transport but we mostly used Uber rides/cabs to get to Duval Street. The Casa was nice, private and quiet but an easy ride to Duval. It is around the corner to a dog beach (if you are bringing a pup they are so kind and friendly), and the southernmost point buoy. The gym facility was clean and had more than I thought it would for a nice morning workout. We enjoyed a couples massage before our wedding day and the staff was lovely as they got all of our stress knots out! I totally recommend this venue for a family vacation or a romantic getaway!

had to move the date forward, while searching for places I found this majestic hotel, I adored the beautiful settings and pictures of weddings at Casa Marina, but I fell in love with Carina Primus which is the Catering and Event Manager there. She immediately understood the situation and was willing to make it happen with such a positive and warm attitude. She has the perfect temper for this job, and every bride MUST have a person like her next to her. All our communication was via email/phone calls, and if you are a bride reading this you understand how hard this could be (and as a plus, if you are a Spanish speaker, she is bilingüe). While planning, we had a last minute trip to Florida and we tried to do the most for which we asked Carina and the Chef to squeeze us in their agenda and of course, this was possible! I had the pleasure of finally putting a face to that voice while they prepared the food tasting. They also were willing to prepare a couple typical dishes from my country that the chef had never prepared before which were AMAZING and DELICIOUS. The food presentation is spectacular, the taste is delectable, well prepared, exquisite, and mouth watering, for real! We had 3 activities there, "Welcome Cocktail Party", "Wedding Reception", and "Brunch as farewell party", all three were incredible and beyond expectations, not just for us but for our guests. The food on the 3 occasions was very well presented, delicious and very tasteful. The staff and their attention is incredible!!! The options they have for the bars are very good and full of liquors of all types to please the taste of your different guests. We had people with different meal options like vegetarians, Gluten Free and specific allergies, for which we worked out all the menus based on this and they were extremely good to balance the Hours D'oeuvres, and plated dinner options. Everybody ate absolutely everything that was out on their plates or passed by, and if you have been at weddings, this does not always happen. All the comments after the wedding have been incredible, our guest were delighted at every event of our wedding. The wedding was supposed to be outdoors in the beach area but due to inclement weather we had to change this the day of our wedding, and they made it so smooth and pleasant for such a stressful day, and it's because these people are TRULY PROFESSIONALS. Whichever activity you choose to do here, you can rely on their experience and knowledge. They won't make you make a decision against your initial plan, or idea unless it is an impending change. They will always have a backup plan for your event, in my case it was the Grand Ballroom. By the time we came back from the catholic ceremony, we stopped by and went inside before our guests and it was ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! It was impressive that in such a short period of time with the other vendors, they could make it look like it was always planned to be in there. This venue holds an experienced team that will make you feel like you are a family member, will do everything to please you, to make you feel so comfortable and confident that you will have your dream wedding, and also an amazing stay at their remarkable and astounding hotel. Forever thankful with Carina and her team!

e ceremony location on the beach was absolutely perfect. My favorite part was the ballroom. Unlike most ball rooms, there was no colorful carpet and outdated fixtures. Everything was modern, wood flooring, it was perfect. Carina was amazing to work with, she was always available to help, and very accommodating! The entire staff was great for our whole stay. I have to also acknowledge an employee, David Pak, who made sure my husband and I were taken care of the entire time we were there whether we lost our room keys, or a drink refill, he was always there to help. We will be staying at this hotel anytime we go back to Key West. Thank you to the entire staff!

Our wedding day turned out more perfect than we could have ever imagined and working with Carina was SO easy. I asked her many, many questions and she always got back to me right away no matter how small the question was. She made me feel confident that we had chosen the right venue and on the day of our wedding, I did not have to worry at all. Casa Marina and its staff is exceptional at hosting weddings and attending to anything that we wanted. The entire weekend went smoothly and we had over 100 guests staying on the property. The food was amazing as well as the service & staff. Our friends and family will be talking about this day for a long time and I would recommend Casa Marina to anyone! It was truly a special weekend for us and I have Casa Marina & Carina to thank for that!

ost every possibility Key West had to offer. We were overwhelmed, tired, hot, and starting to question our decision to have a destination wedding. I had always dreamed of having a formal event, but was that even possible in Key West? The moment we got to our appointment at the Casa Marina we knew were in the right place. The outside entrance was a mix of old Hollywood glam meets Key West classy. The lobby is decorated in rich hard wood floors and tall ceilings. Reina Todd met us to walk us around the property, showing us breezeways accented by archways, long reflecting pools aside marble flooring and a private beach perfect for any ceremony. Our ballroom was classic and inviting. I even got goosebumps the first time I walked in. Not only were we so happy to get married there but we are already planning our anniversary trip back. Hopefully we will be one of those couples that celebrates their 50th there.

had pelicans crash the ceremony! in a good way! Frozen towels, water, and champagne offered to guests during the warm ceremony.. Beautiful ballroom! The Flaglar ballroom was the perfect size for our 75-person wedding. The food was delicious! So many of our guests commented on the buffet spread! The best pool and beach! We stayed in one of the suites during our stay--Fabulous! I highly recommend this resort for your wedding! Clean, professional, BEAUTIFUL!

We spent a lot of time during the week by the pool. EVERYTHING we ate poolside was amazing!!! The bartenders on the night of the wedding were generous. We had the most perfect day thanks to the Casa!

fell in love with. The resort has no "glitz and glam" - something I really appreciated. There are no ornate chandeliers, or tacky carpet - everything is very understated and elegant. The Casa Marina was a perfect place for us to blend what we love about Key West (the laid back life style) with the class and sophistication a wedding deserves. Carina was our coordinator, who was a rock star to work with! She was attentive, yet not over bearing. She really listened to what we wanted, and helped make everything happen.
