I've been doing professional photography for eleven years now, and have LOVED every minute of it! After studying psychology and medicine for six years, I had a realization that my true passion (since I was 12 years old!) was photography - wedding photography to be exact! I am a wife, mother to two boys, and doodle/westie owner. I believe in providing you with a service complete with all edited images- not only for you, but for your loved ones to share in that experience as well! Wedding photography is a valuable investment in your lives. This day only happens once, and every couple deserves those moments captured professionally and with quality work. To help with this investment, I do offer multiple ways of accepting payment including accepting credit cards, checks, and cash as well as payment plans. I also only allow professional second shooters to work alongside of me to ensure your day is captured beautifully from both of us. I believe every couple/photographer relationship should be a perfect fit - including preference, style, and personality. We will be working together quite a bit, so by having that perfect fit with each other, you're ensured to thoroughly enjoy and value your day without any complications! I love having an engagement session to connect with my couples so they can see not only the way I will work with them on their wedding day, but for me to also see how they work as a couple. Everyone is unique, and my goal is to capture you guys as you are rather than just another couple. You see, clients aren't just clients to me - they are friendships built on trust and commitment.

ativity knows no bounds. We did an engagement session to get to know her prior to the wedding, and I walked away from the experience confident that our day was in expert hands. For the wedding itself, she captured everything we wanted - to the point that I wondered how she and her assistant photographer managed to be in so many places!! I would hire Casey again with no hesitation.

l portraits about a month before the wedding and Casey made me feel comfortable and beautiful throughout the session. She is great at giving guidance and instruction while still capturing authentic moments. I couldn't believe how many beautiful shots she took in just an hour and was even more excited for the wedding!
For the actual wedding, she and Megan did a great job wrangling our large wedding party and families together for the group pictures, while still allowing plenty of time for couple shots and first looks. I often forgot she was there while the moments were happening! She had reached out to me with a questionnaire a few weeks before where I listed out all of the picture combinations I wanted as well as a timeline for the event. I had to reach out once afterward to make a change to the schedule but she adapted quickly and everything flowed smoothly. She made my husband feel comfortable in front of the camera as well and again knew just what cues to give to create the most stunning moments!
I would say the *only* downside is that it took about 12 weeks for us to get all of our pictures back which was a little longer than the 6-10 weeks we anticipated. We received our sneak peek within 24 hours after the event with SO many great shots so we really appreciated the quick turnaround there but would've liked a heads up saying it was going to take a little longer, rather than us having to reach out to check on it. That said, we realize it's a busy time of year and are just so happy to now have the full album back with so many stunning shots. Would definitely book again!

With how amazing she is, she is often really busy so at times it can be difficult to get in contact with her, but that is truly the only negative. I would absolutely hire her again and I can't wait to receive all of my wedding pictures from her!

nly are the photos of us exactly what we wanted and more, but they were so fabulous that they were published in a high-end bridal magazine, Muna Luchi Bride. Our photos are also going to be featured in a local Charlotte Magazine. When your photographer is so incredible, that magazines want to publish your photos...you've clearly chosen a winner. I still don’t think Casey has ever been paid from that photographer but we will forever be grateful to her for stepping in and giving us beautiful photos of our day.

g and we received all sorts of excuses for this throughout the wedding planning process - email issues, traveling, “office hours”.
We thought communication would improve once we got closer to the wedding but her response times and “email policy” still seemed unreasonable in terms of actually being helpful with planning. When we did finally get responses from her, she came across as either too busy or just disinterested in giving us useful feedback about any aspect of the wedding related to photography. We were clearly not the only clients who felt this way because she actually sent out an incredibly lengthy email to her clients about how we should be more patient with her response time and returning wedding photos because she was only 1 person running her very busy business. She even said in the email - “I know we live in a world that feeds off of instant gratification, responses, and results, but what I do is art, and that takes time.” You can imagine what it felt like to be a client who had paid thousands of dollars for her services to receive an email like that.
We ended up terminating our contract with Casey right before our wedding (after we had paid in full) and finding a new photographer because trying to deal with her really made planning out the wedding day much more difficult than it needed to be. We had the full support of our wedding coordinators in that decision.
Attempting to work with Casey was frustrating and put a huge damper on our wedding planning process. She takes amazing photographs but her customer service and assistance with planning was a huge disappointment. We loved all of our other wedding vendors and did not experience anything like this with anyone else related to our wedding day.

To address your concerns, like most professional businesses, my hours of operation are listed, and those are the hours in which I return e-mails. I do have records to showcase that you did receive responses within 24 hours on nearly every email...
(which was well within the 2-3 business day time frame which was communicated to you). There was a single time when your email went to spam, and it was missed. As soon as I caught it, I responded immediately to keep communication open and truthful.
When we met at our initial consult, you had asked if I knew of any places for you to get ready. I provided you with multiple options, and then resent these two more times when you explained that none of those worked. As a photographer, my job is to photograph your day. I like to help minimally with planning the schedule to ensure operations run smoothly, but beyond that, my job is not to plan where you should stay, help you choose your wedding venue, or arrange photo time in a hotel lobby when they would not allow it.
The expectations you had for me were more geared towards the job of a planner, of which I am not. I do believe that I went above and beyond to ensure a beautiful and easy day - calling places, getting permission for you to be there, scoping out your venue ahead of time to ensure you’d get the lighting you hoped for. I created multiple timelines and held meetings with you and your month-of coordinator, but I was often met with haste and unrealistic expectations every step of the way.
Despite these hiccups, I was still willing to work with you to ensure your day was nothing short of perfection. When you sent over the email stating you no longer needed my services I reached out to your coordinator and was told that she had not been informed of the concerns and issues you apparently had towards my business. Seeing as communication meant so much, it would have been nice to have had a civil discussion in terms of what your expectations were, and what you truly needed of my services rather than receiving an email stating you were terminating the contract.
I pride myself in providing excellent and joyful experiences to all my couples, and hate that your perception of what I offer as a professional photographer isn’t up to your standards. I wish you both nothing but the best as you move forward in your marriage.

She works so quickly and gets your photos back to you before any other photographers will. She is also genuine and will work completely with you and will always take into consideration your suggestions. She is fun and professional all at the same time!
